Better than a belly band
September 12, 2017
My office dress code requires deep concealment. I have used several elastic belly bands, often at chest level, to achieve this. With the 2 shoulder straps this band may be worn much looser. I like that a lot. The holster and accessory pouches are ideally placed for me. Now I can wear fitted slacks and a tucked blousy shirt without printing and a sloppy appearance. And I can breathe. My advice is always wear an undershirt under elastic band holsters. Be comfortable.
Perfect fit for my Sig P938 sub compact
July 27, 2016
Perfect fit for my Sig P938 sub compact. Elastic holds the gun plenty tight that you don't even need the Velcro strap. I did sew the magazine slot a little narrower because that did slip out, but that's a single stack 6 capacity magazine. Reasonably comfortable, but it is going to get hot when you have a 5" strip of elastic around your chest
Best invention since sliced bread.

I LOVE IT! This holster, along with Cabela's concealed carry shirt is by far, my favorite way to carry my Springfield XDS. It's so comfortable that I find myself checking to make sure the XDS is still there.
Excellent for DEEP concealment with no imprinting. Well made and durable. Not made for quick access...
August 9, 2015
I have had one of these for 15 years and loved it. I bought another after I lost the original velcro shoulder straps and it started to wear out. This holster has a lot of room for adjustment, to get the perfect fit. You can wear it lower or higher to your liking. I've had to maneuver mine a little so that it doesn't rest right against my rib cage, but after a little finessing, it tucks in perfectly. I can wear this all day with a light shirt and not worry about imprinting. It will hold a Glock 26/19 and multiple spare magazines. You can throw it in the wash (on cold, hang dry) to clean it and it will last for over a decade. Simplicity, service and function. One caveat; it's a DEEP conceal, meaning it's not made for quick draw. If you need/want fast access; this isn't the holster. It's going to sit under a layer, deep under your armpit and may be secured with a velcro strap. Fast access is not it's purpose, so know what your need is.All in all, I give it top marks for use and durability. Please check yes below if this was helpful. Thanks for reading.

I have pretty much worn out a couple of these from daily wear. I will buy another. A couple of points:I'm 6'1 and 225 with 50" shoulders - the XL is still a bit too large (the gun sits more forward than i want and causes the grip to "show" a bit if you are observant). The shoulder straps do a great job of keeping the pistol in place regardless of whether I'm carrying full-sized or a more standard carry pistol and avoid the "riding up" or "down" issue that I have had with belly bans. Over time, the tips of the straps and the velcro tend to curl such that the system begins to "show" in places. Moreover, as others have indicated, you pretty much have to wear an undershirt and, if your button down is too sheer, the strap will show (I've had people comment about my back brace). I do not think that any one concealment option is perfect for all situations; however, this is the most common method I use.
Comfortable, concealable and holds a wide variety of pistol sizes.

I bought this holster for my sub-compact Bodyguard 380 Semi Auto. I normally wear an ankle holster but wanted something I could wear under a dress shirt when my slacks are too narrow or short and I risk exposing the weapon when I sit down. This holster is extremely comfortable to wear. The adjustable shoulder straps allow me to move the holster up or down as I desire. Once fitted, it does not shift, slide or print through even my most fitted shirts. The material is very durable and the stitchings are solid. The holster comes with a piece of velcro to be used as a retention strap, but I found it to be unnecessary. The gun fits very snuggly and frankly, the velcro is so heavy duty, I think it would be a detriment to trying to present the weapon quickly and smoothly. (And it's difficult to covertly pull your weapon when you're making a loud "ripping" sound removing the velcro strap).I was pleasantly surprised recently when I decided to see if my S&W M&P 9MM Compact would fit the holster. I'd been searching for a deep conceal holster for this larger gun because I thought this holster was too small. I was wrong. The M&P fits perfectly. It turns out the material is so "stretchy" it can accommodate a wide variety of pistols. I'm able to carry not only the Bodyguard 380 and M&P 9MM, but also a WWII Mauser 32 ACP and my Walther P22.As someone else mentioned, the addition of the two magazine slots on the other side of the holster is a big bonus. For the money, this is a fantastic every day wear holster and I highly recommend.

Good product, conceals my 9mm short barrel nicely undwr my arm, not detectable under a loose fitting shirt. Body heat can make it a bit uncomfortable in warm weather, I wear a t-shirt.Mine rides up a bit during the day and my XD Mod2 is fairly heavy at 28oz, might have needed one size up. Velcro strap has come loose a couple of times when twisting and turning, probably should have ordered the next size up! LolGood product, fair price.
Didn't work for me, but I'm bigger than the average XL.
September 13, 2016
The item itself is good, but it didn't fit me correctly. I tried for about three hours to get it to work for me, but with my size (6'2", 330lbs, 52" chest) the XL just didn't conceal my full size 9mm the way I would have liked it. With someone with a slimmer figure, I'm sure it would work great.
Good holster for deep concealment.
February 13, 2016
I bought this holster for those times when I need deeper concealment when my OWB or even my IWB just won't work. I am currently on hour number 13 of my 3rd consecutive day of wearing it for 16-18 hours straight. fits well and easily adjustable. It has just now started to feel a little uncomfortable but not nearly unbearable. Conceals well. I am very pleased.
Reasonably comfortable; Good conceealment

This is well made and does a good job of holding the pistol in place. It takes a concerted effort to draw if you use the Velcro strap that's designed to hold it in place.A few things to keep in mind:-You really need to wear an undershirt or it will be exceedingly uncomfortable due to the heavy stitching and Velcro.-The top shirt needs to be somewhat loose fitting or your piece-and the holster-will print badly. Also recommend a print or patterned fabric top shirt as opposed to a solid color to break up the outline if it does print.-This is deep concealment, so quick draw is a challenge. This is to be expected with a deep concealment rig. If you wear a shirt with buttons instead of snaps, be prepared to rip the buttons off to draw quickly. However, if you're in deep enough doo-doo to need to draw your piece, shirt buttons are a small price to pay.Runs true to size.
Works great for DEEP concealment and Safe

Foreword: My experience: Concealed Carry Holder for nearly 10 years, military expert rifle and expert pistol. Owner of dozens of holsters. I have found that wardrobe and weather dictate which holster I may use any particular day. I practice using all of my holsters if they are being used. I have a dead holsters drawer for those that just don't make the grade.Regarding this holster: Because of the placement, you will not be making a 1 second draw / discharge to defend yourself. If however, you are wearing something like a crew-neck pullover shirt (made of t-shirt like material that is easily stretched), the average person should be able to Practice enough to competently draw their pistol in 2 or 3 seconds or so.Pro's:- I had no problem concealing my Glock 26 9mm, and Glock 30 .45- After a bit of moving velcro strap adhesion points here and there, I finally got it to where it was comfortable-over a T-shirt and holds my weapon properly.- As I said in the foreword, this is a DEEP concealment holster, meaning you are Not going to pull and discharge your weapon in a a second or two. Oh I suppose there is someone out there that can do it but for the average person, probably not.- I like it because it carries my Glock with the muzzle pointing down to the ground. If there ever were an accidental discharge, it would be down to the ground.- It is comfortable. It will take a bit getting use to but the over the shoulder straps do help distribute weight better than a plain bellyband holster.Con's:- You will spend a small amount of time getting it sized to your body. That is to be expected and not really a con. Just know that you won't slap it on in a hurry for the first time and get it exactly right for you.- You will definitely want to wear a t-shirt under this holster. It is scratchy for lack of a better description. I tried it wearing a tank top style t-shirt and then a crew neck style t-shirt. I found the crew neck better because it covers your armpit area better.- Because you need to wear a t-shirt under the holster (as shown in the photo of this holster by the manufacturer) in addition to your over shirt, you will be hot in the summer. If you are in air conditioning most of the day in the summer, probably not an issue.Afterword: I have learned that concealment of a weapon is a tradeoff. It's almost impossible to be completely, 100 percent comfortable / happy / accessible with any concealed carry pistol holster of substantial caliber. Every holster system for concealment has trade-offs. Of course the most comfortable is for it to be in an outside the waistband holster on your hip but then that's not concealed unless you have an overcoat that will never come off in public.4 stars because of the need for an under t-shirt. If they came up with a way to soften the system so you don't need a t-shirt, then it would be 5 star.
Pro Gear shoulder holster is great.

Before ordering this product check Pro Gears website, this holster comes in different sizes for both the gun and chest size. As for sizing, I'm average at 5'9" with a chest size of 39. I ordered the med. and it fits fine, no problem. I carry a S&W sd40ve, a med. sized pistol with 4" barrel. For my size, the holster conceals it pretty good, can't tell that I have it on under a sport or dress shirt. It takes a little getting used to the feeling of something wrapped around your chest in a semi-constrictive fashion. After a week or so of wearing it, I don't notice it much at all. The quality of construction is good and should last quite awhile. It holds the pistol just fine, and I have no feeling at all of it coming loose, even under moderate activity. I don't use the supplied retention strap, as I feel this will greatly hinder a speedy draw of the gun if needed. All in all this has been a good purchase and I have recommended it to several freinds and family members.

Not for females that have a "chest". Material appears good quality, alot of straps that I didn't even try to figure out.
CCW for big gut

This is a great product for a guy with a big belly to carry concealed. I find it easier to use cross draw. The only draw back is that sometimes when you move you can hear the Velcro.
Its okay if you can get used to it.
December 31, 2016
My opinion is this item works better without the straps as they shift and rub against the side of your neck if you are wearing a tee shirt. Perhaps this wouldn't be an issue with a raised collar. Also, wish the holster pocket was moved an inch or so to more center. Its a bothersome feeling to have the inside of your arm rubbing the pistol grip. I have 5.11 shirts that I like but thought this may be more comfortable. I find personally that it isn't more comfortable.
It's better under thicker polo/cotton shirts
September 5, 2015
My dress shirts (whites and blues) are a very thin cotton, and this is visible through them. It's better under thicker polo/cotton shirts.
Not a good fit/ visible in T-shirt, but works fine otherwise...
March 31, 2015
Using my wife's account. I am a male, 5'10", 48" chest, well built, 240 lbs.Pros: Probably the best you can get. I do my research before buying.1) will hold a Glock 19 just fine. Every confidence it won't fall out even without the additional strap.Cons:1) The fit was difficult to get right. I never found an adjustment that fit the way I was hoping.2) The ends of the strap that goes over the shoulders were visible on my chest when wearing a T-shirt. I bought this so I could wear T-shirts and was disappointed to find that I had to adapt my clothing still for this holster

Needs work
August 14, 2016
Found the velcro straps very cheaply designed, vinyl and not comfortable, there is another version of this made by Linixu that albeit chinese, is sturdier and higher quality. As some suggested, might remove the velcro. It really is pointless, other than that it could be a decent holster.
NOT FOR A WOMAN
July 11, 2016
Since I ordered this item, the seller has changed the photo in the sales ad. The new photos more accurately reflect this construction, but are still incomplete. In addition to the horizontal elastic strap with Velcro closure which holds the weapon, there are BILATERAL Velcro shoulder straps that are sewn on in the back. They run very close to the neck and have a reinforced stitch, so removing one is not possible. Even with a tank top, the Velcro is very irritating to the skin and the shoulder straps are rigid and cannot be maneuvered around the breast My brother took it off my hands, but this is definitely NOT for women.

Not a good conceal carry option for me
June 1, 2015
does not hide the grip bulge even when I wear loose outer wear. Not a good conceal carry option for me. I am 5'4 150 pounds and wear a medium shirt, to conceal this way I'd need an XL over the holster shirt
not much to like
February 5, 2014
It's uncomfortable. It's visible. The pistol is a M&P shield and it prints through almost every article of clothing. I'm 6' 1" 200lbs. Athletic build. You can see the holster in the front of shirts and sweaters.
