I love this product
October 2, 2016
I love this product. It amazes me the simplicity of use and the all around amazing design and function. I highly recommend it to anyone who is shopping around. I find the price was just right and had to purchase it when i did. the design and the quality of the product is awsome. 5 stars easy and would totally recommend to my own mother. Wow. Just wow.
Secure, tough, and comfortable.

Secure, tough and comfortable.Real easy to use.
Used for 1911 .45 acp Government model. Very, very happy with this holster.
May 30, 2015
Great service the Seller. It came out about 1" short for the muzzle of my Government 1911. But, the front sight doesn't catch or hang up when drawing the pistol. Easily adjusted to my 5'7" 175lb body size. I had to re-fanangel the Velcro straps. It's easiest to remove and install the pocketed Velcro straps by sliding in a thin 6" ruler under the Velcro. Overall very, very happy with both the quality and the price.
Best buy to do it ALL.
May 10, 2014
Well, I have to say this is about the best 12 bucks I've spent on a firearm accessory. Couple that with FREE shipping, INDEED. I had a total R/S hip replacement for Christmas this year courtesy of the V.A. and I was finding it painful to sport a full size handgun on that hip. Most of my holsters regardless of what gun I carry are designed for R/S IWB, or OWB carry.I do have a custom made holster or two for a mouse gun like the NAA .22LR mini revolver, but that gun is basically deep cover, and hard to employ quickly due to the tiny grip, my large hand and the single action. I tried to employ it recently to deter two pit bulls from attacking my Schnoodle, and could not protect him, and employ it effectively to stop the attack. I ended up covering him up with my body, and fortunately didn't get as bit up as he did. They didn't want me, old bitter, and tough. So I needed a holster to get my gun off my hip, that could carry enough gun for my dog walks around our rural Tennessee lake, where stray dogs, wild hogs, or large alligator snapping turtles are an all too common occurrence.I also wanted a holster that would adapt to the many guns I might choose to carry to suit my needs on a given day, for a specific purpose. OH, and did I mention it had to be both durable, and comfortable? Yes it does. From some of the other reviews I was skeptical this product could meet my criteria, but I was to be pleasantly surprised. This holster does it ALL for 12 bucks. It is infinitely adjustable to fit any body size comfortably, with a little time and patience. It is also able to adjust to fit any mid size to large handgun I carry securely, and yet allow me to employ them quickly. The extra strap material I took up with some colored heavy duty rubber bands you don't even know are there. IMPROVISE folks, and OVERCOCOME. LOL!I now have a viable carry option for a full size handgun until this hip totally heals, and I can again employ my other options. Although I can tell you, this holster has already become my FAVORITE, as right now it carries my Hipoint C-9, but can also carry my GI 1911A1, my Colt Python, my Colt .357 snub, and others. I bet it would even carry my Browning Buckmark well. The magazine pouches are another plus they will hold four single stack mags for a Hipoint C-9, or the G.I. 1911A1, but if I'm sporting a revolver I can use one for pepper spray, and a tactical flashlight, carrying the speed loaders on my belt. They will easily carry any 2 standard double high capacity mags, for let's say the Beretta 92, or a Glock 19. Another great option is that the holster, and magazine holders detach from the harness with quick release buckles that allow you to keep the harness intact, while removing the hardware to enter a gun free zone.It drives security crazy when I walk through the metal detectors, setting them off, and as they wand me, they discover the harness but can't find the hardware. LOL! Oh! Sorry sir, I forgot to mention that big chunk of titanium in my R/S hip didn't I? Would you like to see the scar?! LOL!GET ONE, you'll love it too, if you use your noodle, it might save your Schnoodle, like I did, and it does mine :o)
Amazing for the price!
July 23, 2013
I read a ton of reviews and it always confuses me to see them so different. Anyway, I bought this item and am extremely happy. I mean for the price it does everything it says it will. I cant wear my Sigma SW40 under my suit coat or anything but for other, smaller fire arms or with large coats, it works great. If your looking for something you don't intend on wearing concealed it is perfect. The adjustments are very easy to work with and so far have not slipped or slided at all (only a couple of days use). Even if they do, a little heavy duty gorilla tape (black) or a industrial sewing kit ;) and your good to go... I paid a total of $12 bucks and have several holsters and for shoulder harness needs this will be the go to item. If you buy this and don't like it, send it back and find out what was wrong because the item is great and works great too. By the way, my SW40 Sigma fit just fine out of the box, not a single adjustment. I tried that first. All others required a tiny adjustment, no big deal.Thanks.
Tactival Cross Draw Holster
February 25, 2013
I read reviews of this product. Most seem to complain about an onerous smell or sizing problems. I ordered one in black anyway. I was prepared to wash it and soak it in Fabreze or what it took to get rid of that smell. I was presently surprised to find that there was no bad smell. Almost no smell at all.It took me about 30 minutes of adjustments to get it right and I had to shorten some of the straps to eliminate excess. But I attribute this to a "one size fits all" manufacturing process. But what do you want for this price. A good leather shoulder holster would probably run at least $50. I know, I used to use one years ago. For the price, this is a great way to go for someone who only needs one occasionally. If you are a professional in LE or a PI, you probably will spend extra for a really good leather holster.Really nice product for a really low price.

It's okay for the price.
April 28, 2017
It's okay for the price. Does NOT come with any instructions or anything. I had to swap mine to be right-hand crossdraw. There is an adjustable strap to secure the gun in place, and has a snap button quick release on it. Does not come with a belt. (Not sure why some people thought it did, but just to clarify.) Not sure you'd want to wear it without a belt to secure it, or without some way to clip it to your waistband. Fits my Bersa Thunder .380 just fine, and room for 2 extra mags. Kind of bulky, but it does seem to hold the gun securely.
Just OK
March 17, 2016
Ok, so the main reason I bought this holster is because of the price. At seven dollars and change, it was a no brainer. Another reason is because it's advertised as ambidextrous, and I am left handed. Like others have said, it has plenty of room for adjustment, but not too much slack for the belt. If you're very tall, you'll probably have to adjust the holster to ride a little low on your body. I didn't get the strong bad odor some are complaining, maybe it's a hit or miss type of deal. Holster itself is very bulky, with plenty of velcros. Most definitely not concealable, especially here in Florida. The holster has a clip on button AND a velcro to keep the pistol secured. It makes it a little hard to draw your gun in an emergency, but it was done that way to prevent the gun from falling. If you think you only need either one (velcro or clip-on button), you can cut one of them and keep the other one. However, once you cut it, you won't be able to put it back.My biggest problem with the product is that while the holster itself is ambidextrous, the mag pouch is not. It's only designed for right handed. I only have the option of wearing it with the velcro facing in against my body instead of away, or have the pouches facing backwards instead of facing the front. It gets four stars because I honestly wasn't expecting much at that price. It is serviceable, but not something I'd use over a regular belt holster.
Works great but what is up with that SMELL?!
January 5, 2016
For the price, you can't beat this holster. My compact Smith and Wesson .380 Bodyguard is small in the holster, but by adjusting the closure strap very tightly, I can holster my gun in the lower portion of the pouch quite securely. As other reviewers have mentioned, the SMELL is strong and lasting. It's a glue like chemical odor that will smell up an entire house. I soaked my holster in hot water and Dawn dishwashing soap and left it outside to dry. Still stinks. And the sink/drain where I poured out the water smelled awful the next day. Now, I've sprayed it down with a natural deodorizer to see if that helps. I'll be wearing this while solo hiking for personal protection, however I think the odor alone will keep all wildlife and psychos far away from me.
Some cheap fun not really practical for concealed EDC
September 7, 2015
If you're buying this, I think you're buying it because it's cheap. Me too. It is cheap. But it will hold a real firearm. I think it's meant more for a pellet pistol. It's kind of a "toy" holster I can wear to the range open carry or camping wearing a flannel jacket over it, BUT NOT if I were wearing a tuxedo to a wedding or a suit to a job interview. It would not conceal your firearm. This holster is stiff, bulky and, not very attractive. It is, however, fun! And you can clean it up a bit: first, set it and test it (set aside some time; it's a hit and miss process trying to get a good fit; adjust a strap two inches, try it on, take it off, adjust one inch, try it on, take it off, adjust another inch; be patient because you'll probably only have to get it right once; remember to test it with an actual (unloaded) firearm).Put your over-sized jacket on. Walk around. Look into the mirror and ask your image if "you talkin' to me?" Sit down, stand up. Shake your booty. Then, if you were in the military, you probably know how to wrap up loose-hanging straps then use some good tape to wrap it up. You'll get plenty of practice with this bargain, strap-happy holster. If you don't know how to square away hanging straps, ask your dad or grandpa or other veteran :-)Note that I don't hate my Generic "tactical" cross draw holster. It's sure fun to have a holster like a secret agent or a movie mobster/bodyguard. A toy that can carry my firearm fairly securely (I don't like my grip facing forward; I like the grip poking upward toward my armpit and the muzzle pointed at the ground. I always worry the sidearm will slip out when held in the grip forward, barrel-toward-the-rear position.) Just keep in mind what you're getting, and if you get it for those reasons, you'll be happy. If you think this is going to be your everyday duty or self-defense holster, you're probably going to be unhappy with this purchase. Good luck!
Not Bad for the Price
March 18, 2014
I bought this for costume/airsoft purposes. It's not bad for the price. I would recommend this for costumes and airsoft weapons, but not for concealed carry / real firearms.Pros- Inexpensive- Highly adjustable. I am 6' 270 lbs and have adjusted it to fit quite nicely.- Pretty durable. I've had it for 2 years and haven't had any issues with stitching or anything of that matter.- Ambidextrous. It only takes a few minutes to switch between a left and right handed holster.Cons- Highly adjustable. It will likely take you quite some time to get it just right.- The pistol retention straps are a big bulky and a little difficult to quickly draw the pistol, as it uses a Velcro strap and a snap button fixture.
Great Holster for the price
November 28, 2010
I purchased this holster for myself to use with a Beretta PX4. I bought this and a few other <$20 holsters as a goof mostly just to try out different types and was pleasantly surprised with just how nice this one turned out to be.I want to start out by saying that the first picture of the item is inaccurate. There isn't a belt included (the other pictures don't have the belt). The holster is VERY adjustable. I'm a big guy (6'6" 245, 46-48 inch chest) and it has a lot of room left in all the straps. The only issue I had here is that since I'm so tall the belt straps barely reach my belt when the top is properly cinched down. It took about 30 minutes of pretty constant adjustments to get it to fit just right, but this is the first time in about 3 years I've even put on a shoulder holster so your mileage may vary. There is a button snap that holds the pistol in place. It has two female parts of the button (not sure the proper jargon here) and one male part so you can use either depending on the size of your pistol. On top of the button is a small velcro strap that acts as a secondary securing method. Within a few minutes of practice I was able to develop a quick flip motion with my firing hand to get the gun out very quickly. For people that don't like reading a wall of text:Pros:Inexpensive.Has room for 3 additional magazines (thats 69 rounds on me with my PX4, pretty decent).Highly adjustable.Pistol stays put when in the holster, even when running.Looks professional.Cons:Doesn't come with a way to secure the loose straps (had to use tape after tightening them down.)Belt straps a bit short.Came designed for a lefty (only took a minute to switch it over).Overall I would buy this again for myself or a friend.

Know what you're using it for.
November 17, 2016
Got this as a teaching aid, to show students some of the different types of holster options. I can't speak to its durability, since it's only worn for about 5 minutes during class. If anything, this product illustrates the general ridiculousness of shoulder holsters. Then again, it was super cheap and fulfills its designated purpose, so who am I to complain.
More tactical than practical.
July 3, 2015
There is no belt with this holster but it has velcro loops at the sides to secure it to a regular belt. Fit my generic fullsize 6 inch barrel semi auto pistol, even with a small rail laser attached, plus 4 full size 17 round magazines, including one in the pistol grip. Heavy to carry it all, but it's there if needed. Hangs loose at sides so you'll need a baggy shirt or jacket for CCW, or open carry it if you dare. For only $10, can't beat it.
Not bad
June 3, 2014
I purchased this holster to carry a airsoft gun for cosplay and while it did the trick, i found that there is a ton of extra strap material that is super uneccessary. Im 6'3" 240lbs with a 44in chest measurement and still, a ton of strap. Also the strap to secure the weapon was both snap button (center of strap) AND velcro (both sides) which seems very odd. Then there is also two straps, one on each side that were of odd length and had velcro as well but didnt seem to make sense and no instructions or diagram/schematic to explain what they were there for. With some modifications it worked fine.
I really want to give this a better rating, but...
August 20, 2013
It was a bit difficult to get adjusted and never felt just right. I used these in a theatrical production which had 2 FBI agents (1 male, 1 female). I first tried one out with my gun to see if I would want one for my concealed carry - I just couldn't get it to fit just right and after quite a lot of practice, never could draw it quickly enough. I figured it was just me but when I tried it on the 2 actors, it fit the male pretty well but not the female - same issues I had. There seemed to be excessive Velcro, some of the material was a bit on the cheap side (but not bad for the price), and if you are small, there is a ton of excess strap which I'd hate to cut off but there's really nothing else to do with it... unless of course you sew more Velcro onto it...So overall, not terrible quality, per say, but certainly not for everyone. Despite being adjustable almost everywhere, it seemed to be designed for broader, larger people (i.e. men).
Finally!
March 20, 2013
After searching and trying several holsters for one that fit my full size PX4 Storm, I finally found one with this holster. Granted, it *is* a big gun, and the holsters I tried were hip holsters, so I decided to try this one instead. It is highly adjustable, and is ambidextrous, though it is best for those who draw right-handed. The only downside I found was that, as someone who draws left-handed, if the holster is under the right arm, the magazine holder will of necessity be under the left arm, but will be facing in toward the body rather than out, If you can live with that, this is a great holster.**UPDATE**After wearing this holster twice, I seemed to have pinched a nerve in my back. Granted, my Beretta is heavy, but this isn't supposed to happen, especially after spending a significant amount of time attempting to adjust it. Therefore, I can't recommend this holster for larger, heavier guns. If you buy this holster, take it off immediately if you start to feel pain. You get what you pay for, and I'd recommend a higher quality holster than this one if you can possibly afford it.
Ok starter holster
August 15, 2012
I'll admit I bought this to see how a $12 holster would stack up, and I can say it's nothing more than OK.Pros: - First off, the padding and stitching on this item is actually pretty good. It's not double stitched like I was hoping it was, but for less than $15 I am more than willing to let that slide. - The shoulder pads are wide and well placed making wear fairly comfortable. - Both the mag pouches and holster are able to hold full sized and larger weapons with ease. - The straps make the harness fairly ease to adjust. - The belt loops are Velcroed so you can adjust them to the height of your waistline.Cons: - The big one, the holster that I got was stitched so far up that I was only able to get the barrel of my revolver into it. I was able to remove some of the stitching to get my other weapons to fit, but an adjustment there or just having the excess stitching out would have been nice. - It is hard to hide the fact you are concealing a weapon with the design of the holster. There is a large flap on the backside of the holster that sticks out badly. I'm waiting to see if wearing it will cause that flap to loosen and settle down. - The retaining clip is a plastic buckle, making difficult to pull the weapon out. - While the straps let you customize the fit easily, they do not want to stay where you put them easily and slide a bit requiring constant readjustment until they finally "settle in." - The loops for the straps are done well on the holster side, but are completely backwards on the mag pouch side. The straps on holster side can be adjusted down so there is little hanging webbing, whereas on the other side, they are looped around so that you have a TON of webbing hanging out. I was able to fix that with some gaffer's tape and may eventually replace the tape with more Velcro. - The unit I received smelled strongly of petrol. The outside of the bag and the box had no smell to them.Overview:Overall, I wouldn't use this one for serious, all the time carry. But if I was asked to recommend one for someone that hadn't tried shoulder carry before, it's not bad for the price and is not uncomfortable.

Now includes bonus horrid chemical smell of death!
July 12, 2016
I was looking for a shoulder holster for a cosplay outfit and this looked like it would work well. The design of the product isn't bad...but I could not of imagined it would smell so toxic! I could never get the horrid chemical smell off of thing! (smelled like mothballs + formaldehyde). I aired it out in the living room and it made it smell like a funeral home! I soaked and washed it...Ineffective. I hung it outside and forgot about it for over a month and it still smelled just as bad as the day I got it! I just tossed it in the trash since it was so inexpensive. I do not recommend.
Purchased for my husband, who isn't a HUGE man ...
December 1, 2015
Purchased for my husband, who isn't a HUGE man, but more average. And it was WAY to small for him. He couldn't move in it, even after adjusting it. But he really likes it, so he kept it and we made some modifications with my sewing machine. He says it's a well made shoulder holster, it was just to snug for him.

October 9, 2015
The product image in the listings for this product show a waist belt as part of the holster. Clicking through, the belt is missing. The item I was sent had no belt. Which makes the holster not fit properly. The shoulder straps end too short to try to attach it to a trousers belt, which most men wear at their hips, instead of their waist. The product description does note that "Belt not included", so they own up to using a misleading image.Additionally, the individual parts all sit a bit oddly. This isn't a holster you can sling on and go. You might even need someone to help straighten it once on, so it doesn't irritate you. There are lots of extra velcro and snappy bits, which don't seem to have much purpose, other than to look extra "tactical" or something. And it is important to note, this is a TACTICAL holster, not a concealing holster. It will not work under most jackets. The product description calls it a "concealed design", and I suppose this could be true if you were wearing a large, bulky overcoat. But it is bulky and awkward.I got this product to use with a special agent cosplay and a rubber prop gun. My prop barely fit in the non-adjustable holster in this rig. And it sat awkwardly under my arm. Without the belt bit, it hung poorly and looked incomplete. I bought it for the price, and got what I paid for. I ended up not using this.
You get what you pay for.
October 14, 2013
I saw this and figured for the price, what do I have to loose. Well luckily I didn't loose a lot since it was so cheap. The shoulder pads are to bulky, as well as the gun holster itself. It needs to be made of a thinner/more flexible material on the shoulder pads so it forms to your body. I tried this on under my button up shirt that was fairly loose fitting and you could totally tell that there was something under my shirt. I think that if you were to wear a zip up sweater over it all the time it would work out fine, especially for winter time. I've honestly never wore this out in public because that's how bad it fits me that Im afraid people are going to notice instantly. Id do a little more research before ordering this product, maybe if you are a larger framed person that wears baggy clothing it would work ok.
Well...
May 25, 2013
So I can't say that this is a great product. Although it did hold a gun, Glock 17, and magazines. It wasn't terribly difficult to size, and I am a big dude at 6'3" and 290lbs. But all that said, I would not trust this thing to retain a weapon in a real world scenario. It also has a clumsy strap that secures the gun in the holster, you can't call it a thumb break because it does not fall under the thumb like it should. There's also no solid piece of plastic or anything to press against to break the snap open. For all of the toy gun enthusiast out there, go for it. I mainly bought it because I've never tried a shoulder rig before and at this price decided why not.Lastly, this rig stunk and I mean a horrible musty basement nasty smell!! It was so potent that I had to put it out in the garage because my wife banished it from the house. I can't honestly describe how bad this thing smelled, it just stunk!!
difficult to adjust
April 30, 2013
Pictures and description makes this seem much better than the actual product. All the straps are much too long, requiring trimming and then melting straps to prevent fraying. It is adjustable in many different places. I spent over an hour trying to adjust it so it fits correctly. But if you get the holster to fit comfortably with a gun without extra mags, then put pags in the holster feels lop-sided again requiring more adjustments. The quality of the material seems good, but overall I would not purchase again.

Don't really like the holster
March 22, 2017
Don't really like the holster.. Hard to hold my 45cal and holsters are sturdy with flimsy straps that constantly come apart.
Not practical for serious usage - Returned and now use leather Jackass rig
August 3, 2016
Purchased for my 32oz. 1911 with 3inch barrel (although holster design allows longer barrels due to hole opening.I paid around $12 for this, practically free compared to Galco and Safariland prices of their rigs (Jackass runs around $140 + accessories). Why expend effort and return it when it was practically for free? Because its not even worth the space it takes up in my closet. Utter junk for daily duty. For those using it as a Halloween prop, have fun. To hold a full weight 45 cal gun, this is NOT the shoulder rig for you.Cons:Design flaw - Thumb break on strapDesign flaw - lack of adjustable cantRig doesn't wear right on body and no way to get holster to ride up high just under armpit. Even when straps are on on smallest, causes cant imbalance so barrel tip points upwards behind you and the only thing holding the gun in this loose holster and not to immediately slide out onto the floor is the Velcro retention 2 button thumb break strap (2 buttons, not 1 why?)Pro:Cheap price if use is purely as prop. The 1 star review is in regards to the crappy product. I would like to point out that the vendor received 5 stars for fast and well packaged shipping. I also broke down and bought the Jackass rig ($140) and its true - you get what you pay for.
Holy moly the odor is horrendous
December 20, 2015
I'll start by saying that Amazon should allow you to leave a ZERO star rating if you want.... not force you into posting a 1 star just to review. With that out of the way...... as far as the quality of this holster goes... I suppose it's fine. BUT... and thus a huge but.... it smells so bad that you can't look at it long enough to check it out. I'm not saying that I have a strong olfactory sense either.... I have sinus issues. And I still was horrified. It's a horrible odor... mold? Maybe.... rubber? Maybe..... oil? As in tar.... maybe..... I'm not sure... but the whole house smelled and I immediately put it in a sealed bag out on my deck and I still smell it. I taste it. How can you still sell this item????? Of course I'm sending it back... and amazons return policy deserves the star... please for all that is good in this world... do NOT buy this. Save yourself a trip to the u.p.s. box.
The holster is not too bad, as far as quality goes
December 6, 2015
The holster is not too bad, as far as quality goes. You get what you pay for. HOWEVER, they smell something awful. The whole house reeked of mildew as soon as I opened the package. I have run them (I bought 3) thru the wash 3 times, using vinegar, baking soda and pinesol. Now my washing machine smells like the holsters, and their smell has not diminished in the least. If you smoke like a chimney, these are the holsters for you. No one will get in the elevator with you, but you won't notice the cloud that follows you around.
TOTALLY DISSATISFIED!
August 8, 2015
The product fits properly however it is unusable due to its smell. It has an incredible moldy smell. I could smell it through the box before I even opened it. I have tried to air it out since the first day it arrived without luck. It appears as if it smells due to the material it is made of or perhaps something toxic is seeped into it. I have even toyed with the idea of giving it to our local authorities but am unsure that I want to be that involved. It is presently hanging outside of my garage as I can't bring it in due to this extreme odor. I have never experienced anything like this. It was a waste of money and time. I don't even want to handle it to return it. Frankly I wish someone from Amazon would come and pick it up!!!!!!
Thought I'd give it a shot. Wish I hadn't. Hard to adjust. Impossible to keep in place. Completely unconcealable. Smells weird.
April 12, 2015
Very awkward. It has a lot of removable velcro straps. Very hard to get adjusted to your body size and firearm setup. I worked for an hour adjusting all the slide adjusters and velcro straps to get this item to fit me and I am of average build. Even after all of my adjustments I was never able to get it to fit me comfortably. Furthermore, once removing the holster set-up, it takes a long time to put it back on and readjust everything to get it to fit right again. Also, as many other reviewers have stated, it came set up for a left-hand draw, which is weird, as the majority of shooters are right handed. This required me to remove both the gun holster and magazine holster and flip them around and re-thread the straps through the many slip clips, which was a chore in itself. The clips are small and plastic, which makes me worry about the longevity of this setup. And after getting everything adjusted as closely as possible to my body, a slight tug on either the gun holster or the magazine holster was all it took to have the strap slide through the buckle / clip and loosen. The holsters themselves are large, I imagine to accommodate a variety of guns, but the setup is very bulky. There are many small velcro straps that you are supposed to wrap around the holster to make it fit your specific application. This makes for a very bulky and uncomfortable (not to mention, unconcealable) package strapped under your arm and against your rib cage. The magazine holster on the opposite side is also very large. I have a Springfield M1911 that uses single stack, 7 shot magazines, and the magazine holsters were so long that the velcro strap used to hold them in overlapped so much that the velcro didn't line up so that the velcro wouldn't close. All in all, this is a very cheap (as the price should denote) shoulder holster setup. It is unconcealable, hard to set up, you'll have to spend a lot of time readjusting everything every time you put it on, and the build quality is unreliable. If you are using it for airsoft play it might work alright for you. But as for carrying a real firearm or concealed carry of any kind, look elsewhere. I already returned mine. Also it smells really strange. My entire room smelled weird for days and I couldn't figure out were the smell was coming from until I took a wiff of this thing. Strange.Don't waste your time or money.
