This is the second time I have purchased these water bottles......the first time was about 12 years ago......they just gave out! When I found them again on Amazon was so happy. These keep the Ice along time and the water is always cold. Great for the gym, for a walk or,hike, and the best ever for travel. Would recommend these to everyone.
pretty cool, actually

I bought two. If you are wondering why the colors are muted, the outer layer is a milky plastic, the image is from a sheet of Mylar in the insulating space... pretty cool, actually.
Good product
August 16, 2017
I am happy as it kept my water very cold, better than any other water bottle I've had before. I thought that the lid was defective, but as it turns out, I was using a lid from another bottle. Now I'm happy.
Works great!

I was suprised when I left this in my hot truck for 1 1/2 hours and it still had a lot of ice in it!
Takes a lick'n and keeps on tick'n. Thanks Polar!
August 28, 2012
This was my 4th purchase of these great water bottles that DO KEEP THE WATER ICE COLD FOR HOURS. Aside from loving the function, the customer service of Polar is Awesome. As their site says, "Accidents Do Happen" and well, I accidentally left 2 of my water bottles on my rear bumper. After driving away and reaching for my still cold (after a 3 hour ride) Polar Water Bottle, I realized what I had done. I turned the car around and drove back to find both water bottles in the middle of a busy 5 lane Blvd. Retrieving the bottles was the biggest downside here. After retrieving the bottles, I found 1 of the 2 had been run over by a car and the cap was sheared off from the pressure. The act of retrieving the bottles was the worst part of the story because a simple visit to the Polar Website revealed that they stand behind all their water bottles with a FREE CAP REPLACEMENT OFFER. In less than 30 seconds I completed the form that confirmed they would send me a replacement, including postage, for FREE. Thanks Polar! Polar Insulated Water Bottle
Excellent Insulated Bottle
May 14, 2012
First of all, these bottles are the best of the insulated ones i've used. As long as you squeeze in the right place it is very simple and doesn't require a death grip. Some people are complaining about the water tasting tainted, but I haven't had this problem. I assume they didn't clean it well enough, because it did smell strongly of plastic inside when I first recieved it. Wash it with really hot soapy water, including the valve... and rinse it a LOT.. problem solved. The 24oz bottle is quite large, and mounted horizontally with no problems. If you are going to mount it vertically, keep in mind that the 24oz bottle is well over 10 inches and may not fit depending on your frame size. My simple solution was to mount the large one across, and the smaller one vertically. The loop makes it easier to yank from the Planet Bike 6.2 mm Welded Aluminum Bicycle Water Bottle Cage I use, and the silver/black/white looks sweeeeet on my Cannondale.Overall, they are priced well.. function very well.. and even look nice mounted. I recommend getting one of each size and mounting both for those hot summer days coming.

Great!

I use this waterbottle every day. Keeps my water nice and cold throughout the day.
keeps my water cold for hours!
July 30, 2015
This bottle is great! I work on a farm so I constantly have my water bottle handy, and it keeps cold drinks cold and hot drinks hot for hours! The top is a little smaller than other bottles I have had in the past, but once I got used to it I actually prefer a smaller opening. The little carabiner on the top is pretty flimsy.
Great bottle
July 27, 2015
This water bottle is great for going to the gym or on a hike. Very little energy gets through the insulation. I leave mine in the fridge overnight, and it stays cool through lunch easily. Can't recommend enough.
They worked great. Everything that was stated about them was true
July 26, 2015
I just returned from the madden journey using these bottles on a trip into the the Bob Marshall Wilderness. They worked great. Everything that was stated about them was true, ( they are light weight, kept my water cool for over 24 hours, and never leaked a drop even when I set my pack sideways in my tent). I recommend these bottles to anyone looking for a quality water bottle, and they look pretty neat as well.
Not just another water bottle!

I have been falling further down the rabbit hole of BPA & Phytate avoidance and was on the hunt for a good reusable water bottle. I originally had the Brita-filter Water bottles that assured me it was BPA free on purchase. While I love the idea of being able to filter any water I refill the bottle with on the go - I HATE the idea of that plastic container roasting in a hot car. I came across this bottle and it seemed to promise all that I was looking for: Stainless Steel for BPA & Phytate avoidance, durability, etc. AND insulation for maintaining the temp of your beverage as it should be. After receiving it and using it daily for about 2 weeks let me tell you - IT WORKS! And it works even better than I thought it would. I can put cold water in this bottle and leave it in my car for hours (I live in SC - very hot in August) and when I go to drink it again its still nice & cool! I find that my daily water intake has increased because of the great tasting water that lasts for hours on the go. I love it more than I ever thought I would love a water bottle. I was originally worried about it being too heavy but the weight of this bottle, even full of water, is quite the opposite. It feels lighter than most of the plastic bottles I've carried. Its an investment to spend this kind of money on a water bottle but worth it - if something ever happens to this one I'll be replacing it immediately with another!

Pretty good job
October 4, 2017
I live in Florida and it is hard to keep things cold. This does a pretty fair job of it. On the downside, it is hard to clean and the little indentations on the inside are darn near impossible to clean. A bottle brush is helpful.
Meh, They work...
October 3, 2017
I prefer the bottle that have the (not sure what to call them), but non tradition bottle top piece. I just leave these popped up, and they work fine. It's nice that the inner bottle top piece is removable so you can clean in there to keep the bottles clean. I personally prefer the tops on the Camelback podium bottles more. These are fine for the price though.
Pretty good
August 7, 2017
The insulation seems to take up a fair amount of volume, decide for yourself whether you'd have colder water for a brief time period or more water overall. We take it on bike rides and stop infrequently for water so the temperature is the same as our non-insulated bottle. The insulation also makes it hard to squeeze to get water out (minor complaint). Also it has a pull cap that has opened or been left opened and leaked in my car and places. That being said its a good bottle, we just prefer the camelback non-insulated one we have with the jet valve opening, I mostly got this one to try and it was cheaper.
Works but there are better!
June 28, 2016
Does as is should but there are better in the same price range but being that this works I give it 4 and knock a star for others being better go for a thermos insulated bottle I bought one on Amazon $1 more and it keeps drinks cooler longer but holds less!
Solid
March 22, 2016
Holds a good amount, has an indentation that allows it to clip in and feel secure in the bottle cage and looks nice. Keeps drinks cold for longer than an uninsulated bottle, but I can't say I was wowed by how long it stayed cold/semi frozen when I filled it with half ice and half water on my hour and a half ride around noon on an 80 degree sunny day. Better than the alternative but nothing too surprising. Still a good product and good price.
Keeps your beverage cool: A Polar 24oz Insulated Water Bottle Review
April 13, 2007
I signed up with Team In Training to compete in a 60 mile off road bicycle race. The lid on my old Polar insulated water bottle cracked, so I purchased a newer version to replace it. This water bottle holds a little more fluid and has a hanging loop, but otherwise is similar to by previous bottle.Polar sports bottles keep your drink refreshingly cool for twice as long as regular plastic bottles. Double-wall construction creating a thermal barrier combined with a foil layer to reflect the sun's rays keeps heat out and cold in. The construction uses the same principles of a thermos, but with a fraction of the weight, fitting a standard bicycle bottle cage.I can be cycling for three to four hours on my training days. I typically store my bottle in the freezer and fill on my way out the door. The Polar bottle effectively keeps my sports drink cool, but doesn't keep it ice cold for the entire time. However, I haven't put it to test in the middle of a hot Texas summer for this long yet. To extend the cooling power, fill your Polar sports bottle with your beverage of choice and store in the freezer before use. Freezing is not required to keep your drink cool.According to Polar, the Easy Clean Valve System makes cleaning the dishwasher-safe sports bottle's valve a simple task. Twist the valve counterclockwise aligning the dots and pull the valve out. Reverse the procedure to put the valve back in. While this sounds simple, in practice I've yet to remove the valve.PROSLightweightEasy to cleanKeeps your beverage coolCONSValve doesn't remove easily

Good design, save the seal on the cap
May 25, 2016
I got this for my girlfriend so she would have a nice water bottle throughout the day. The seal on the top completely gave out which causes it to leak. That was within 5 months of use. At first their customer service email address never responded to me, but after I lowered my Amazon review rating they said they were sending out some new tops. So, that's a bonus.

As for the overall performance of this thing - it's pretty impressive. We took it to Hawaii where temperatures were near 85 degrees and at the end of the day there was still ice in this thing. The outside of the bottle felt hot to the touch, yet somehow the insulation kept the ice from melting and our water cold. My only beef (aside from the seal on the top) would be the narrow opening. It's slightly too small to easily shove ice cubes from a tray into it. You can dance around this problem by just making smaller than normal cubes.
Keeps super cold.
August 2, 2015
I did a test where I filled the entire bottle with ice, capped it, and marked the time. After 12 hours there was still visible ice. Pretty cool. The only thing I found wrong with it is that the bottle gives the water a metal taste.
very sleek looking and keeps cool nicely otherwise
July 26, 2015
in retrospect i should've gone for a top that was attached to the actual water bottle as i am very prone to losing things. i also have a bit of trouble taking off the top, especially with the metal things still attached to the top. very sleek looking and keeps cool nicely otherwise.
Works great so far
July 22, 2015
Works great so far, drop it once... it did make a dent on the bottom, but it still works perfectly.
Could Be Perfect
July 22, 2015
The bottle itself is excellent for keeping 4-5 cubes of ice and plenty of water very cold for hours, but the inconvenience of an unattached cap caused me to only rate it 4 stars overall.

I am in and out of the car all day long and just don't want to take the time to screw the cap off/on every time I leave the car. In order not to lose the cap I put it in my second cup holder and leaving it there while I'm out of the car allows the ice to melt and the water not to remain ice cold. Still plenty cool, though. Our summer days in NC can get amazingly hot and a closed up car causes a significant rise in the temperature, so I can't expect the ice not to melt. If I'm going to be out of the car for quite some time, I'll replace the cap and that allows the bottle to perform at its maximum level. Can't do that often, so I frequently wish the cap were attached and I could replace it easily every time I hop out of the car.

I haven't taken a long trip by car with my wife yet, but when I do, she'll be using the second cup holder and my storage space for this cap will not be available. Then I'll have to figure out where to put it so it won't disappear.

Other than my cap challenge I am very pleased with the bottle. I don't get any taste of metal and really enjoy the capacity of the bottle. Not having to refill it but once or twice during a day is nice. I've used it five times and have put it in the dishwasher after every use and so far it has not harmed the bottle at all. If the only thing that does is some possible cosmetic damage that won't be a problem. The good news is that even if the bottle is damaged so that I can't use it anymore it won't be a big problem since it was so reasonably priced. And you can bet I'll replace it with a bottle with an attached cap.

Not what I expected when I bought it. Also didn't fit in my bikes water bottle holder, so I ended up giving it away. I expected this to be plain blue, but it looks like there is 2 layers of plastic with insulator foil between them.

Looks bad
March 8, 2017
The picture does not do this item justice. The insulation for the bottle is super winkled and it just looks junky. If it's more important to you that you have a cold drink for a long time, this is for you. If it's more important to you to have a nice looking bottle, stay away.

I expected the bottle to keep the liquids chilled. This bottle is no different than a plastic bottle with a piece of colored foil. You are getting what you pay for.
Won't sweat
October 12, 2015
I wanted a water bottle that wouldn't sweat. This bottle keeps my water .. cool (not cold) and it's definitely sweat proof .. so all in all .. a good purchase.
Does it's job for a while.
July 22, 2015
Preface: For the first 8 months of having this water bottle, I would have given in 5 stars. When I went to write this review, I originally gave it 4 stars. After writing it, I realized it didn't quite deserve the 4 stars, so I lowered it to 3. Maybe 3.5.I loved this bottle when I first bought it in September of 2014 (just 10 months ago). I got the April Showers print, so it was cute and unique. I have never seen anyone with the same exact water bottle. It kept the water cool, it was easy to squeeze, so I wasn't left having to put too much effort into sucking my water out. (How's that for lazy?) I'm a college student, so I took this bottle to every class. I would drink a whole bottle about every hour while I was in class, so it was well loved. My only complaint was the mouth piece has "Remove" and arrows carved in it. I don't know what it is, but I end up with a white film inside the carvings. I can scrape it out with a toothpick or it flakes off, but I don't really know what it is. It could be the hard water we have where I am.The water bottle did me very well until about beginning of June 2015. It started leaking around the lid and the mouth piece wouldn't stay up. When I tried to drink, I had to hold it open with my teeth or else it would get pushed back in and I couldn't get water out. Also about that time, the outer layer cracked around the bottom of the hand hold place (where the bottle goes in), so now I have 4 cracks about 1.5 inches each. Maybe I squeezed it too hard or something, but I got these cracks. This wouldn't have bothered me, but now when I fill up my bottle, a teeny tiny bit of water can go through the cracks in between the hard outer shell and inner shiny stuff. It hasn't happened yet, but I'm worried about it getting some mildew down there.Anyways, 10 months later, I am now in search of a new water bottle. I would love to buy this again, but I'm worried about the same problems.

Suspect quality
May 21, 2017
Just received bottle today. Washed and rinsed inside and out. Filled with cold water. Turned bottle over and noticed liquid coming out around the shiny aluminum disk on the bottom. Gentle pressure popped it off to reveal it is bonded in place with a low quality double sided adhesive tape. The liquid was simply water that had gotten in the space under the decorative aluminum disk. I noticed that the "vacuum" space is sealed with black epoxy rather than welded or hermetically sealed metal joints. Appears to be a measure to cut costs (which is surprising since it should be possible to easily weld the inner and outer canisters). Not sure why epoxy is used to seal the evacuation port. But it explains why the bottle is not dishwasher safe: heat would soften the epoxy and lead to loss of seal integrity and loss of vacuum. Such cost-cutting at the expense of quality is regrettable but a sign of the times with "entrepreneurs" farming out their manufacturing to China. Buy a company, and outsource to the lowest bidder.
Lid is NOT leak-proof!
January 25, 2017
At first, I really loved this, but within a week, the rubber around the lid stopper started coming out and I couldn't get my bottle to stay completely closed. I'd tighten the cap and just when I thought it was almost done, it would skid and go back to being loose. Today I finally got fed up with it because it fell and the lid popped right off and hot coffee went all over my floor. Not what I expected when I bought a "leakproof, no spill cap." It keeps things hot and cold, but the lid doesn't hold. And it dented pretty badly when it fell today. I think it's been a good ride but I'm throwing it in the garbage.
Love the look of it
April 20, 2016
Love this design. The bottle has a few imperfections right out of the box: little pockmarks and bumps in the white shell. But that's not a huge deal. This bottle really insulates what you put in it. Cold water stays cold, but not as long as hot liquid stays piping hot. Honestly, it almost insulates too well sometimes. Make sure if you're putting hot liquid in that you remember it's still hot when you go to drink it. Sometimes it takes a while for it to cool to drinking temp.

EDIT: The design has rubbed off, which I'm really disappointed about. The look of the bottle was a big factor in buying it, but the logo is completely gone. I'm bummed.
The water bottle is amazing at keeping water cold
November 21, 2015
The water bottle is amazing at keeping water cold. The product description and multiple reviews say there is no metallic taste, but this has not been accurate on my water bottle. Unfortunately, water gains a metallic taste after a few hours in the water bottle.

The manufacture should consider etching the bottle with their logo. I have had this water bottle for about 2 months, and the logo has almost completely rubbed off.
Maybe not for those who will use dishwasher
October 21, 2015
I live in Florida, so it's easy to get dehydrated in this heat. I liked the idea of keeping insulated water bottles in my car so I wouldn't have to carry them in to work with me since the place I park is about a mile from my building. I bought this and a Cayman Fitness bottle at the same time to compare. I put an equal number of ice cubes in each in the morning and then filled them with filtered tap water. I left both of them in the car all day (8am to 4pm). I found that when I was able to park in the shade, they were both still cool by the end of the day. On the days I wasn't able to park in a shaded area, the water in this bottle was warm, but the water in the CF bottle was still slightly cool. That's why I stopped using it and bought another CF bottle. I should mention that I did put this bottle in the dishwasher because I avoid washing things by hand as much as possible. The manufacturer recommends hand washing. Maybe that has something to do with my less than great experience.

So So . . .
September 11, 2017
I found that it is hard to get the water out of the bottle as compared to other generic type of water bottles. The other issue I found was that the water had a 'plastic' taste to it. Not sure whether this was because it was new or not.
Not satisfied
August 16, 2017
Comfortable easy grip bottle, firm no leak cap, but not happy with the ability to keep drink cold. Insulated is a joke, non insulated is as good.
Insulation doesn't really work - 100% advertizing gimic - Really holds only about one 1/2 liter
August 7, 2017
Not 24oz, really holds only about one 1/2 liter (maybe 18oz)"Insulation" DOESN'T really work. I did a test with this new white bottle and my old standard dark blue water bottle. After riding for about 1 hour, the liquid in this "Insulated" bottle was only slightly cooler than that in my old bottle. A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!As a second issue, the foil liner (between the inner bottle and outer bottle and not in contact with the liquid) is just jammed in. You can see the folds and creases. Its not very good looking.
I suggest finding a different bottle
January 27, 2016
Unfortunately I’m not thrilled about his bottle. I was hoping this would work great for keeping my water cool on hot summer bike rides in the Utah desert, especially after reading so many positive reviews. To be fair, the insulation is decent. Don’t expect anything INCREDIBLE, but it is noticeably better than a simple plastic water bottle. Unfortunately that’s the extent of my notable positives with this bottle. Here are my two main gripes:1. The screw-on top worked great for the first month or so, but after that it started to leak. At first I thought the drips were just from excess water that had found its way around the rim and inside the top when I was filling it up, but after carefully drying the top and the rim, a test proved that the bottle does, indeed leak. I have only hand washed it, so it’s not from the bottle warping in the hot dishwasher.2. My experience differs from others as this bottle doesn’t fit in my standard bicycle water bottle holder. Here’s the one I use: Planet Bike 6.2 mm Welded Aluminum Bicycle Water Bottle Cage. Even using this on my road bike and going over very few bumps I’m constantly having to reach down and readjust it so it doesn’t fall.I’ve heard the Camelbak insulated water bottle works great, although I’ve never used one myself. If I were interested in spending more money, I would probably test that one out. At any rate, I don’t recommend this one.
Very Disappointed
June 9, 2015
I had bought another insulated bottle which ended up cracking and chipping paint after about a week, so I'm returning that one. I bought this one to replace it, seeing as it has mostly good reviews. I'm rather confused, because I have not found this bottle to insulate any better than a normal bottle does. For a standard water bottle it's fine, but I was only willing to pay the higher price because I expected it to keep my water cold at least as long as the other cheaper one did. I fill the entire thing with ice and then add water and all the ice will have melted within the hour in an air-conditioned room. I have yet to try it in the heat. The only good thing I have noticed is that it does not sweat. The reason I'm giving two stars instead of one is because I do like the design and it is a decent size.
disapointed
December 17, 2013
I was looking for an insulated bottle to keep my Dr. Pepper cold while I sip on it all day. this doesn't even come close. the inside is white squeezable plastic. then it has a paper/foil cover to hold the advertising covered by a thin cloudy looking piece of clearish plastic so you can see the ads. in between the inner layer and outer layer is about an eighth inch of air. I can take my flashlight, hold it to the outside surface and the inside of the bottle lights up like an x-mas tree. I poured ice cold soda in it and 90 mins later it was room temperature.i purchased a 24 ounce bottle and it holds exactly 23 oz. 7 drops. That's not really a big deal but my definition of insulated and 24 oz is different from theirs. I cant fix the ounces but I had a big koozie called a tube sox that fits nicely over it and keeps my soda cold for a couple of hrs. I got it at nichelab.com. It does have a wide mouth,(2&1/16"), which makes it easy to add ice. Mine hasn't leaked yet. There is a loop at the top that just got in my way so I cut it off with scissors. I will keep this and use it because I have fixed it to my liking but if you're looking for an insulated bottle , look elsewhere. Thnx for listening to my rant :))

Poor quality
February 11, 2017
After just a few uses, about 4 times, the paint started smearing. I bought this bottle to use at work and definitely did not want to carry around a worn looking bottle to meetings, so I was very disappointed in the quality. Definitely don't recommend the white one. I gave it two stars because technically it functions as a bottle, but it did not work well. I ended up getting a klean kanteen after, which sometimes goes on sale for cheaper, and noticed a significant difference in quality, i.e. the paint is solid and has no chance of smearing, and it felt thicker and sturdier, so you might want to consider that one instead if you're searching for a stainless steel bottle.
This water bottle has a pretty nice looking design and keeps things cool/warm pretty well
December 11, 2016
This water bottle has a pretty nice looking design and keeps things cool/warm pretty well. After one year of use however, here are my concerns:

I take this bottle rock climbing and it shows, sporting several dents in the bottle. Also, the little carabiner on the lid is cheap and has already broken. Not a big deal but I actually did use it to clip to my harness sometimes when my hands were full.

The worst offender: The rubber gasket on the lid of my bottle was cheap and stretched to the point of not keeping a seal within one year of use. Instead of getting a new bottle I went ahead and ordered a 3 pack of replacement lids (why are they only available in a 3 pack?) and thankfully the gasket appears to be much higher quality. Comparing to the images for the product it looks like they have the new, better gasket so it's possible this problem has already been fixed and new costumers will get it but I don't know. Now I have two extra lids and nothing to do with them but at least the bottle is functioning again.

I almost gave it a little higher review but really for a bottle that stopped functioning before a year of use it doesn't deserve the 4.7 average it currently has; that is unless the gasket problem has definitely been fixed and you use it for your desk job or don't mind dents.

March 27, 2016
I was looking for an uncoated stainless steel bottle and this one looked great. So I bought two, one for my wife and one for me. However in my search, that included on essential criteria that it be Made in USA, apparently forgot to look closely enough and drat, these are made in China. I don't care whether its some specific steel grade certification or not. Both for heath and economic reasons, I try to avoid buying stuff from China which is nearly impossible unless your are wealthy. But I really don't want something that touches food from there. And yes, I'm sure you all can tell me how many things are from China in my life. Too bad I waited too long to return them. My biggest complaint is for Amazon. When I search your site with the phrase "Make in USA", it would be nice it the search engine had an option for true matches, not just close enough. Or better yet, at least put the country of manufacture in the item description. And if you can't do it, you could require it of your vendors, no?

Former fan of these
September 26, 2017
I've used these for years and have loved them. Eventually after years, the water began to taste strange, and I would order another. I recently bought another and in only a couple of months, with not very heavy use, the water is undrinkable. I won't buy another.
Don't waste your money
September 14, 2017
The red color looks like an aluminum foil wrap over a plastic bottle.... and the wrapping is not smooth or attractive. A bad wrap job and it makes the bottle look cheap. As far as cooling... doesn't keep a drink cold, even with ice cubes for more than an hour. Don't waste your money if you really want an insulated drink bottle that will keep your drink cold for longer than an hour. Disappointed.

Plastic film between two layers of plastic tumbler. Pic looks better than in person. Does not insulate.
Not worth the hype
June 12, 2017
It doesn't keep your liquid contents cold for more than an hour and if you put ice in it I guarantee you it will sweat rivers. The bottle is difficult to drink from as well unless you want to stand there letting it drip the contents into your mouth a half teaspoon at a time you have to suck it out or squeeze the bottle hoping it regains its shape after. Also unless you screw down the lid with all you might it will leak under the lid.

Biggest piece of crap I ever ordered. I order stuff online all the time. Never give a customer review because I am always happy and just to lazy to write one. HOWEVER, I would not pay $1.00 for this at a dollar store, well...maybe a dollar. this is the cheapest piece of plastic I have ever seen. Something a vendor might give away at a conference for free to use for a week. I am embarrassed to give it as a gift. I paid less for really cool freezable ones at Shopko. Don't waste your money or your time. This is not insulated, just two cheap pieces of plastic with crinkled foil in between.
Very Disappointing
April 29, 2015
I am so disappointed by the Polar insulated water bottle. I bought it mainly for indoor use to keep the drink cool longer, and the supposedly non-sweating outside. It does keep the drink cool for a long time. I like to have it by my bedside table at night, and the drink stays cold even by morning. However, the outside of the bottle sweats a lot. It is wetter than anything I have used it the past. I thought that by it having double wall, that it will stay dry on the outside. Other reviewers even stated that it stays dry. Well this one sweats like a pig. It is unpleasant to hold because of the outside moisture. I am not happy at all. It is not worth the $15.99 cost. I could have picked a better one locally.

Tastes and smells like metal
My letter to Robyn Everingham, owner of Futurepace Tech
August 10, 2016
Well, Robyn.

I was going to spare you the news that your bottle already went into the recycling bin.

I (as I assume many others) grieve the loss of a truly stunning product made by Eco Vessel. It was available in 25 and 40 ounce sizes (I believe.) The key feature was that it was triple walled stainless steel.

Now that product truly lived up to its promise. Somewhere along the line I'm assuming that they got the Chinese middle finger on their production standards. The tops stopped fitting well and the newer models leaked when you drank from them. The tops were no longer deep enough to seal properly.

So I looked for a replacement that worked as well. Initially, I found the double walled Mira. It's just OK. After 8 hours at room temperature (which at my house is 66° F.) the water inside the bottle is tepid. Not truly cold (as Eco kept it.)

Since then, I've still been looking for a truly good product. I'm sorry to say that your bottle doesn't perform even nearly as well as the Mira does. I think it's the cheap plastic cap on yours that's the weakest point.

If you want to create a truly superior product, start with using triple insulation. Then use a decent insulating cap. I'd gladly pay twice as much for a product that really works. (You can hold me to that.) Your current model is the worst of the several I've purchased (by far.) That's why it went to the recyclers.

The others are literally the same bottles as Mira, with different logos. It's sad. One is from my husband, from Nordstrom at $38 plus tax.

Before you ask, yes, I did read and follow your directions.

I assume this is not what you were hoping for. But given that you persisted with three unsolicited emails, I decided not to keep my mistake to myself.

I see that there are no fewer than four Mira-like bottles on Amazon alone. Again, I'd rethink your cap, if you'd like to become competitive.

Best regards and good luck.

Broken screw cap in one month
March 7, 2016
Had it one month and the cap is broken so that it leaks. Strong bottle, cheap lid. I would rate it higher
if the company sent extra lids with the bottle, or made the screw top stainless steal as well.

I do not understand all the good reviews. This is nothing more than a glorified canteen.
It keeps drinks barely cool, not cold. It evens sounds like the canteen I had during the Vietnam Era.
