I originally bought these for making clay necklaces my customers could use as personal essential oil diffusers... but then their usefulness with entertaining my toddler while I worked became invaluable! There is nothing quite like sensory play to keep little hands from becoming "too helpful!"

Rugged and versatile. I've bought a few Ateco products and the are always superior grade products. This is no exception.August Thomsen makes larger sets, single-sided sets,sets in other shapes. These are nice for a crowded kitchen, for use by an enthusiast on a budget. These are easily becoming my favorite cutters. The quality exceeded my expectations, the tin is very handy for storage, and I love the range of sizes. Honestly for the price I was very pleasantly surprised at the quality - the seams are barely noticeable and seem to be firmly sealed.The top lip protects your hands/fingers from injury when pushing down to cut items (which I know sounds silly but frankly not all cutters have this lip and can sometimes hurt to press on). I don't just use this for soft things like cookies, but for things like slicing through a 1" piece of ham for an Eggs Benedict, tomatoes and bread to make some snazzy mini-BLTs, and to create perfectly sized salmon or crab cakes. Would buy again for myself or as a gift.

These cutters do the job. But if you are looking to expand your leaf set with different sizes you should be aware that nominal sizing is inconsistent. I ordered this set of cutters described as "approximately 2-inch" size and the Mrs Anderson's set described as "approximately 1-inch" size, thinking that I would get a big set and a small set. I wanted to cut big and small leaves. It turns out they are the same product. So I have two sets of identical cutters. And I can't accuse either description of being dishonest because the cutters are irregular shapes that are about 1 inch WIDE and about 2 inches LONG so both companies could claim their description is true. I would've thought that nominal cutter sizing would be consistent but sadly it is not. I am giving this set the five-star review because these cutters are the size I expected based on the 2-inch description, and it is the other set which disappointed me.

These are great for fondant/cookies/ pastries. The included sizes are good, although I do wish it was larger than a 6-piece so it had smaller ones, as well. They are sturdy and well-made and I hand wash them to keep them in good condition.My only complaint has to do with the shipping condition from whichever seller so bought it from. The tin had been smashed in shipping so all the squares were squished sideways and were not perfectly square- they were starting to look slightly diamond-shaped. I have just tried to mold them back into proper squares by hand each time I use them. It's a bummer, but I feel it isn't a reflection of the product so I didn't want to deduct a star. I could have returned them for new ones, but needed them right away.

I made the mistake ONCE of buying a FoxRun set of cutters, they were terrible.These are awesome and work like a charm. The metal isn't overly thin and fragile. I love that they're double sided.Please note that the corners are rounded even on the non-scalloped side so if you're looking for a sharp-cornered square, you should look at a different set.

Great cutters and plungers 33 in total, 10 different designs, giving you 3 to 4 of each cutter or plunger design. These are exactly as I expected. Pretty sturdy too.

I LOVE my plunger cutters. A few of them are not actually plungers and one of my plungers were broken when it arrived. However, I'm okay with the products and did not notify the seller about the broken plunger as I felt I got my money's worth from the other products that were not broken. I sat down and used each plunder/cutter and had so much fun. I kept the cut pieces to make a shape chart. This was such a steal that I had two other cake decorators order from this company. Also, they arrived way faster than I expected considering the company is not in the USA.

Made already a bunch of gum paste flowers and butterflies and leaves ... Great combination. Love the hole set and recommend to anyone

This is a great set of cutters. I love that it's double-sided and the variety of sizes. The cutters are sharp and even in loose biscuit dough the fluted edges come through. My one-star deduction is that I wish it came in a tin, as that is Ateco's thing. It comes in regular plastic packaging that is ok for storage, but definitely not attractive and a little bulkier than necessary. I don't want to just have a bunch of loose cutters in a drawer so I keep them in the bulky, ugly box.

I would give these a 5 except some of the sizes are very odd. I actually needed a 1" and a 2" cutter and neither of those sizes are in this set, even though there are 11 pieces. The nearest to 1" is 7/8" or 1 1/8". The nearest to 2" is 1 7/8" or the next is 2 1/4" and so it goes. I don't often make cookies or biscuits that call for a specific size, but I am using these in place of a donut cutter. I haven't tried them yet, but I believe they will work just fine for my needs. The edges feel sharp. They feel sturdy. They are 1 1/4" deep and they come in a tin with a lid for storage. Very nice.

My mother had mentioned offhandedly that she had wanted some hexagonal biscuit/cookie cutters, as a way to reduce extra dough-waste that comes along with using traditional round cutters. I snatched these up the day that I heard her say that as an early christmas present. The cutters themselves are surprisingly sturdy, I was a bit nervous because metal cookie cutters tend to be notoriously flimsy. We haven't bent any out of shape or anything! The only real downside, though, is that you probably could bend them out of shape easily by banging them around too much. I'd make sure you keep them stored in the little metal container they come in, because I doubt they'd survive a drawer on their own.

Good value, quality. Use a bowl/plate/board if you need to press down hard; this keeps the top sharp edge from cutting into your fingers, and keeps the ring square. All around nice item.

A nice set of quality cutters that won't rust or bend out of shape too easily compared to some flimsy tin cutters. Convenient to have the double sides of plain and fluted, especially if you are trying to save space. My only minor issue is that I wish the fluted sides were more pronounced. After I decorate the cookies, it's difficult to tell the shapes are actually fluted. It shows up more like a subtle wave. I will be searching for cutters with more pronounced ripples.

I could not find the sizes in the description, so here they are for anyone else who may be wondering.The Ateco 4 Piece Stainless Steel Round Cutter Set contains cutters in the following sizes:1 1/2"2 1/2"3 1/2"4 1/2"I haven't used them yet, but they feel sharp yet somewhat flimsy. I would be careful storing them so that they do not get dented, and as others mentioned, the plastic box that they come in will not hold up for long as a storage box. The tops of the cutters are turned under, and are comfortable to press down on while cutting, and the generous height makes them ideal for biscuits or even to use as a food mold. As with most stainless steel products, these cutters are made in China.

I'm very happy with the product although I received a few that were broken.

I like the set, don't get me wrong. My only issue is the lack of diversity within the cutters. It was exactly as shown, so I don't have a ton to complain about.

I like that this set has so many different options. The quality is about what I would expect, but some of the plungers stick and aren't really effective. Overall, I am happy with the purchase.

Awesome tools! I received 33 pieces as pictured. There are 2 cutters that are the same but the rest are different. For the price I am completely happy!!!!!

These things are decently made. Not a huge fan of the seam however. Also, they are not non-stick so if you're using them for eggs or anything that sticks, you're going to have a bad time.

rather large size- I really could not use for the soccer ball I wanted so I ended up ordering the plastic set instead.They would cut well- maybe better for cookies- not fondant like I intended to use for

The rectangle cutter set came in a good variety of sizes, but definitely are not 90 degrees at the corners, so sometimes my cookie shapes will come out a little wonky. I have to constantly shift them and bend them back in order to make them appear more even or sometimes I'll have to hand trim a side that came out a bit crooked.

Bought it to cut cakes and stack the rings to make checkerboard cakes. They look very cool. Bake two or three cakes of different colors and stack the rings and when you cut the cake it looks like a checkerboard. But, I had to buy one more ring because one size ring I needed was missing.

I needed some basic cutters for my shape-challenged cookies. Rustic is fine but sometimes you just want to bake a ROUND cookie! These cutters did a fine job on my sugar cookie dough but the edges were relatively tough on my hands. The metal is thin and, as such, a bit sharp. If I had to make the purchase over again, I'd pay more for a more for a set less likely to give me tetanus when/if they rust.

I bought the alphabet cutters to replace my Wilton alphabet cutters, which are awful. These are great where Wilton is lacking, particularly that they are a touch bigger, therefore the letters are thicker, so I don't tear them up trying to get them out of the cutter. I really like the font too. After using them the first time I was in love.But then I washed them. One run in the dishwasher and the joints are covered in rust! It's very, very frustrating. I hand washed them to get rid of the rust as much as possible, but I find it pretty unacceptable for a food grade product to rust so terribly after one washing.I'll still use them because I really like them, but that was a huge disappointment.

It's very cheap, so given the price it's ok I guess. The quality is pretty poor. There are frayed extra plastic pieces still stuck to the cutting edge on most of the pieces that need to be individually and CAREFULLY removed if you want a nice smooth edge to your items. Also several arrived with pieces of plastic broken off so they're not useable. One of the broken spring devices I was able to fix. Really it's pretty terrible quality, but overall most pieces work ok after you trim them up. For $7.00 it's fine.

There are a lot of pieces, but this came in a big clear bag with no instructions. We had to look on-line to figure it out. Good price though for quantity.

Technically-I'd give it 3 1/2 stars. First up- you have to remember these are really cheap and for the price it's a good buy. For most of the sets, I see no difference in quality from the overpriced ones through actual polymer clay brands.(except they probably have better quality control) I bought these to use for polymer clay. Keep in mind a 3 piece set of one of these shapes would be $3-4 bucks a piece. That said- it's a really good set. The title for the product is misleading, NOT all of the cutters have plungers. There's a few that doesn't, but I don't think it matters- the shapes lend themselves to removal easy. The only con is the mini heart shapes, which I was seriously bummed about- I love hearts. They were broken and the "plunger" part of the cutter is really rough plastic. Rendering the tiny heart shapes useless, as it pops apart the second you try to use it- and with it being that tiny- I'll just stick to my metal cutters for that size. Not sure why there was an issue- because the mini star and flower shapes work beautifully. That said- as much as I wanted the heart shapes to work- it's not worth the hassle to exchange or whatever and probably get the same quality.
Long story short? If the shapes are appealing to you- it's an AWESOME buy. I didn't have to wait a month for it to ship from China like a lot of the good deals on these type of cutters. It's worth the gamble on these. I'd recommend them with a "Buyer Beware" sticker. :D

These are not a durable as other plunger cutters that I have purchased but the over all assortment is nice.

My set did not contain the carnation cutters, instead my set included more daisy cutters (just like the plungers). So yes, overall it is a good deal, but it looks like each package varies. You may not get what you see/expect.

I have baked cakes for years and decided to do a checkerboard cake for my son's grooms cake. The item does cut the cake in perfect circles but the cake falls to pieces when trying to get it out. Maybe if it were a very very dense cake it might work. Needless to say, the entire first layer was dumped. I was so hoping this would work!

I haven't figured out how to use this for my intended purpose. I'm sure it works well as a cookie cutter. Hopefully I can figure out a way to use it as a mold for my homemade moon cakes.

The biggest problem with these cookie cutters is they are SMALL, I'm talking about an inch and a half. These would be really tiny cookies "if" you could make them from them. I left them in the package and wonder what I can do with them, maybe return them. There are larger leaf cookie cutters available.

these are nothing fancy. seem to cut okay. only used 1 time. they need to include sizes!!! so frustrating. They should print the cutter sizes on their packaging!

Surprisingly very, very thin.. Not sure if it's paper stainless steel, however they are truly as thin as slightly thicker sheet of paper, if that makes sense. Certainly not like card stock, however very, very thin. I used one today, so I'm not sure of the longevity... I really wouldn't say they are a baker type quality because they seem not durable or solid at all..

I think these are meant for cutting fondant maybe? They don't work well as cookie cutters at least with my sugar cookie recipe. They're very deep and the dough gets stuck in them. They're pretty small too, maybe an inch per letter.

The only reason why I purchased this set, was because I needed a butterfly plunger cutter that this "33 pcs" set supposed to have. The description says 33 Pcs and on the picture you can see 33 Pcs and 3 of those are the butterfly's, but when I received the set it came only with 30 pcs and what I needed was missing, the 3 butterfly pcs.

not a qood quality, when you push it the handle and all the springs jumps out, and some don't even have the handel.

Some of the plungers are broken. Looking to return back to sender. This is unfortunate because I was really excited about this purchase.

I bought this set specifically for the snowflake designs. Stupidly I didn't check the contents when I got them and therefore the night before my daughters birthday I discovered I couldn't decorate her cake! All the snowflake cutters were without the plungers, also 3 more flower sets were missing plungers too. Most of the designs are pretty but the snowflake design was very disappointing- more flower than snowflake.

VERY disappointment. These cutter are very bad quality and not worth the money. the moment i opened the package i felt like they gonna just broke down between my fingers, very weak.

I wanted these to make polymer clay bracelets. I won't even use these to cook. They are misshapen, flimsy and have sharp edges.Not worth the money.

these cutters are so small, and the walls are so high that getting what you just cut out of the cutter is almost impossible.

Just received these today, and am gutted I didn't look at the weight and quality difference between the CIA 11 piece set. 3.2 ounce vs 8.8. These are terrible. I was planning on using these and the alteco geometric set, which is also of the same poor quality, for shapes from veg. Not a chance these will last a lunchtime, let alone a lifetime. Poor.

I normally don't have time to write review for the product that I purchased except that it really worse. This is one of them. The product don't even deserve to get one star. After first wash, the edge rusted. How come cutter tool that is used for food and made from stainless steel easily get rust. They should give instruction how to wash and store. Do not recommend it!

They got rusted on first wash

I purchased this plunger set and was initially pleased with what I received. However, after having washed the product before the first use, the springs inside the plunger mechanism all rusted. Now, they cannot be used without releasing rusty residue onto anything I cut. All of the plunger items in this set are basically useless once you wash them, which you should do before using them, so they are essentially useless. Very disappointing!!

I received it and 3 plungers were broken inside their wrapper! Very cheap product.
