As far as the potency, it did not seem watered down or anything like that, the smell was quite strong when I opened the bottle and smelled up the whole room. I used it in a mixture (with witch hazel and citronella) to make a natural mosquito repellant. It definitely worked to keep the bugs away! Plus smelled great! I also put some in homemade bath bombs, and it was really strong, I probably could have added less. It also costs less than other brands that are available on Amazon. Jury is out on which I prefer. The noticeable difference is that NOW seems to smell more concentrated. I like that this came with a dropper. September 7, 2016 The Radha Lavender Essential Oil is a great product for when you need to wind down and have some lavender scent to help you sleep. When the package arrived some of the oil had leaked a little inside the package, but other than that it arrived safely and timely. I use some every night before I go to sleep, although it's a little strong so you only need a tiny drop on your wrists and behind your ears. Any more than that, and I've been told I smell like Tiger Balm or Vicks VapoRub. The only reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the strength of the scent, which is purely my opinion. Anyone searching for a strong lavender scent, this is the one. For the price and size of of the bottle you really can't beat Radha Lavender Essential Oil. My only complaint is the scent is not as strong as other brands I've used in the past, like NOW Essential oils or Aura Cacia. Where other brands have a more woodsy, and what I consider, a more authentic aroma, Radha Lavender has more citrus notes. The last 2 that we have gotten though have a bitter smell to it that isn't pleasing or soothing and does not smell like lavender. We use is for our special needs grandson who is deaf and blind and has a specific routine and certain smells to help him know what's going on. This lavender is the smell he has learned means it's bedtime. I hoped it was just a bad one when the first smelly one came but when the second one got here and smelt just as bad I was disappointed. Not a PURE Essential Oil September 19, 2015 I am writing this review for the people that are looking for a PURE essential oil. If that is what you are looking for this is not it. Pure essential oils when dropped on a blotting paper will impregnate it, evaporate, and dispense, leaving no oily patch. I did this with this peppermint oil and it left an oily patch even after an hour. This usually means it is diluted with a carrier oil such as sweet almond oil or grape seed. "Essential Oils" is somewhat of a misnomer. As for the most part essential oils aren't oily. If you are looking for a pure essential oil this is not your product. If you really want to learn about Essential Oils and their therapeutic value read "The Complete Book of Essential Oils & Aromatherapy" |

Two Star Reviews: | 3% Questionable April 24, 2017 This product does not have the true character of pure lavender oil. It's not returnable; therefore, I will dispose of it and count this purchase a loss. Not good quality oil..very disappointed March 11, 2017 I had ordered the small set of these oils and they were good but I don't feel the larger 4 ounce bottles are as pure. They seem more watered down I have even tried using more drops in my diffuser but these don't smell the same. I won't be ordering Radha essential oils again. Poor seal when eye dropper attached. LEAKS! March 3, 2017 I use lavender oil all the time as my house. I ordered this because I liked the size bottle and the eye dropper. Unfortunately, the eye dropper does not screw on well. Also, you need to keep oils away from light so we had this in a box and the box got turned upside down (which normally wouldn't be a problem), but even thought the eye dropper and lid were screwed on oil leaked everywhere. I will not purchase again unless they improve the seal with the eye dropper. Oil not fragant at all. Bottle and dropper are nice though. August 15, 2016 I initially ordered this based on all the positive reviews but found myself disappointed with what I received. The oil has a faint smell of lavender followed by a weird chemical smell. I can barely smell it using a diffuser and that's with adding more oil than usual. Not all is lost though, the glass bottle and glass dropper are of quality so I'll repurpose it for different brand of oil. Product is NOT the same as it used to be! Because I bought it Jun 22nd and didn't open the bottle until late July I have missed my 30 day Amazon return policy, so now I'm stuck with an unusable product. I can't even use it and now I'm afraid to buy any more bottles. If it was just the smell I could use it mixed with other oils in a lotion, but I'm afraid it isn't even a therapeutic oil. I use Fabulous Frannies and just ordered some woozlies and it helps my skin, every time I use this topically I notice I breakout! If an oil says external use only it most likely isn't pure.Lesson learned. If you only use oils for aromatherapy I guess youre okay with this product. Don't think you're making a pocket savvy choice buying this. I've had one bottle for 10 months, but that's because a little goes a long way with even fake essential oils. I tried contacting the company to get a replacement and they said they didn’t have any and said they would give a “partial refund”. And said “hope that helps”. It doesn’t. It is not even close to the scent of any other lavender oil that I have ever used, and I am aware that there are many different varieties and they do not smell the same. I have a business making natural products and there is no way that I will use this oil in it. I just went to return it today (hadn't opened it right away because I was finishing up a previous bottle, different company) and I am a a few days past so now it will go to waste.
