Lavender Love💜
September 28, 2017
I believe this is my 3rd repurchase of NOW Lavender essential oil. I absolutely love this oil. It has such a fresh clean lavender aroma and is very pure. I've tried many many different brands of oil's and this lavender is one of my favorites!! I use it in my room diffusers, really helps with calming and relaxing at bedtime. I also make a linens spray with distilled water, lavender and peppermint. My whole family loves it. Shipping was fast with Amazon prime, and was packaged securely with layers of bubblewrap, I really appreciate the time taken on packaging to ensure no breakage or spills could happen during shipping. I absolutely recommend this oil!!
Huge bottle for a great price.
June 29, 2017
Great quality and a great price! I add lavender to everything: Baths, room diffusers, lotion so this is great to have a lot to spare. I usually buy tiny bottles at boutique type places so I was skeptical to get online. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and the amount for the price! I will definitely re-order.

June 7, 2017
In that past i've purchased oils from friends who sell certain high quality brands - that I do love. I was in need of something to ship quickly as I wanted to make a Lavender Linen Spray and was ready to go with all other materials. I've never made a spray before and thought this oil (much less expensive than what my friends sell) would be a good product to use to test my creation. This shipped much quicker than expected, cost much less than those other brands, and from what I can tell (i'm by no means an essential oil expert) seemed to work wonderfully. My daughter and I created some amazingly fragranced sprays to give out as gifts.
Great products.

My little dude is going through some things right now (SPD, sleep disorder, possibly ASD). I use essential oils throughout the day & night in the diffusers to help with everything from calming, sleep, & allergies as well as for myself. I LOVE NOW products. They're clean & pure. This oil is perfect for the diffusers & this is a great price point for the size.
Lavender Fields Forever
March 22, 2017
Great product, which I use in many ways, for example an aromatherapy air diffuser, cleaning surfaces with a few direct drops, applying to certain skin irritations. I love the fragrance and the price is reasonable, although I am aware there are brands of superior quality that are more expensive, but this is fine for my needs.
Definitely recommend
May 12, 2016
One of my fav oils. I use nighty in a diffuser especially since having a newborn I feel this brings a calmness in room during bedtime. I use about 7-10 drops.I would recommend this oil as well as the other Now essential oils.

Great for sleep....and also a surprise for nice skin!
July 7, 2017
I looove this oil! I originally bought this oil to help with sleep - I'm in my 40s and sleep starts to be hard to come by as we get older. I had heard lavender works wonders, so I gave it a shot.....and it indeed helps! In fact, I don't think I can go without it now, amazing. So fast forward a bit....I had been having issues with rosacea on my cheek and started researching natural approaches and lavender popped up so I gave it a try. Wow. Not only did it really help the rosacea, but it has made my skin in general look and feel really great! I now use it nightly on my whole face and it truly makes it softer and smoother by morning. Love it. Win win.
Great for many uses!
September 22, 2016
I used this to help with the healing process on new piercings, and once they were healed I used the remainder to scent the bedroom. Excellent for both uses! It's nice to use a natural essential oil with such good results. I'd recommend this for either of the uses I used it for!The bottle is very concentrated oil, so it actually lasts a long time. It has a very strong smell so you never use more than a drop at a time for any application. It has a easy lid for dispensing drops.
I use this every day...a staple in my life now
May 9, 2016
I really like all of Edens Garden essential oils & I use the lavender daily. It smells exactly like I expected it would for this kind of lavender, lavendula angustifolia. It has that sweet, lavender smell that is invigorating, soothing, and calming. I use it in many blends for my face, for my feet, for when I feel tense, etc. I could go on & on about the uses of this must have essential oil. I also have the spike lavender, which definitely has a different smell to it; not as sweet, I think. I use both, but probably go to this one the most because I just love the smell of it.The bottle is just as described, as well as how they describe the color & consistency of the oil. I've had this bottle for at least 2 months now & am just about out of it, and I use it regularly. I will definitely buy this again, and maybe buy the bigger bottle so I don't have to buy it every couple months. Since it is an everyday used oil for me, buying the bigger bottle is worth it. However, I always buy the smallest bottle when trying a new EO, or if I adventure out & buy a different brand. It stinks when you invest your money into something & are not pleased with it. I honestly don't think you will be disappointed in this oil though. Truly.
great products, nice prices, timely arrival
March 23, 2016
I started buying Edens garden products about a year ago and now I have a small box full of a variety of their oils. The fragrances are strong and true to their source (this lavendar oil is lovely) and a little goes a long way. I have made fragrances for myself, blends for the family (a thieves mix for health), and more blends for gifts (the notorious '#2' spray - which everyone laughed about, but still found very useful) and all came out wonderful smelling and longlasting. I haven't tried them in internally, but that's my next plan. I highly recommend edens garden.
Miracle Drops
April 10, 2015
I purchased this because I read an article that says the 100% lavendar oil will prevent the "bugs" that crawl on eyelashes. I did not know of such things until I use to repeatedly scratch my eyelids on a daily basis. Its worth its weight in gold. Do some research if you are experiencing the same thing. You won't be disappointed. It also helps with eyelash growth. I put a few drops in my mascara, mix it with the eyelash applicator and apply. An added bonus is that it actually helps with the application of the mascara.
I am a lavender junkie.
March 20, 2012
I stumbled upon Eden's garden during an Amazon search a few months ago when I decided to try cleaning with more natural products (my daughter is now almost 2 and into EVERYTHING so it's nice to have one less thing to worry about being toddler-proofed). I ordered my first bottles of oils for cleaning products-lavender and rosemary. I went through them in about 3 weeks. I am a lavender junkie and I use it for as much as I can-I dab some of the oil on an old sock, then stuff it in another sock and tie that sock up (to prevent any of the oil from staining your laundry) and voila! Instant and re-useable dryer sheet!I also dab some on my temples and behind my ears and neck when I'm very stressed out or sore or tired. I also have a rice sock that I made-I'll dab a few drops of oil on the sock before putting it in the microwave to heat up-it's wonderful.I recently ordered their lemon oil and it is FANTASTIC. Best lemon smell with the exception of the real thing.PS-Their shipping is ridiculously fast-everything always arrives DAYS before the expected receive date.

Great product. I put a couple drops on my wool laundry balls and it makes my clothes smell wonderful!
Good for the price
December 10, 2015
So is this oil the very top of the line? No.Does it get the job done and smell nice. Yes.I'd say this of most the NOW products; they are a very middle of the road, decent quality product for a very afordable price. I have nothing bad to say about this particular lavender oil and am comfortable in using it and confident in its quality.
Good for household uses, not so sure when used in a diffuser...
January 6, 2015
It works awesome on my dryer balls when I dry my laundry (a few drops on each and my laundry smells wonderful!) but it's pretty useless when used in a fine-mist oil diffuser machine (I could smell nothing and I was using it only in my bedroom). I don't know if it's a heat issue (the dryer is warm, the machine does not heat the water the oil is in, so it's cold and maybe doesn't release the scent well? just a guess) or an oil quality issue, but I don't recommend using this for oil diffusers. Pretty good for other stuff, like adding it to homemade cleaning products or as mentioned, using it for laundry drying.
Smells So Good
December 29, 2013
I use lavender oil to scent my pillows and bed linens. It is a relaxing scent and helps my husband and I drift off into dreamland. This oil smells wonderful as long as you don't use more than a few drops- too many drops and you may have to wait for it to diffuse into the air before you get that wonderful lavender smell. I usually buy the Now Organic Lavender Oil, but this one is more reasonably priced, although I think the organic oil made by Now smells a bit better, albeit at a much higher cost per ounce. Since they are both 100% lavender, you would think there isn't a difference, but there is. So if you want a better smelling lavender oil, get the organic version. But for everyday use this one is still fine and does the job.
It's Fine
July 18, 2013
I'm not a purist and I don't have the olfactory to pick apart it's fragrance so I'll break it down like this. It is an oil. It smells like lavender to me. A little dab on a cloth near the fan at night and it fills the room with aroma as we drift off to sleep. A little goes a long way. I'm happy with it. My wife is happy with it. /the end
Not so sure about the way it pours
December 30, 2012
I have a mouse ok more than one I assume in my house. I am afraid, that might be an understatement of mice. They luckily are only in our basement and I was getting tired of setting traps that cost me 5 bucks for 2. I caught 1 with a trap and I assume the mouse left (or mice) can smell the other was killed, because they don't go near the spot even with a new trap. I bought this lavender oil because I read online that mice hate peppermint and lavender. I wasn't really looking forward to having my whole house smell like peppermint so I am trying the lavender.First of all, this is a great price 13 dollars for what I would pay 30 bucks for in a health food store. The only downside is that the bottle does not container a dropper, it's glass and it has a no spill top so you have to shake it quite hard to get a drop or 2 out, I used this in a mix of water in a spray bottler and sprayed it around the house, and so far (it's only been a few days) the mouse has not tried to come up from the basement.I sprayed some in the basement as well, because that is where my washer and dryer is, and they are still down there, but I am hoping if I use it often enough (a little goes a long way so one bottle will last) they will be gone..This is not to be used in food, or on your skin, if you want to use it around your home you need another oil like almond oil because it's not meant to be a stand alone. It is VERY strong in scent so be warned..However adding a bit on a cotton ball and leaving it in the corner of a room leaves enough scent to be relaxing without making your head spin.

I give 4 stars for a reason i will explain first of all the smell is good but the delivery is slow it takes 8 days to get to you with Plant therapy it takes only 3 days and they don't charge you extra for fast delivery and is more better quality than this one's smh never buying anymore I need my things fast
I love love love Edens Garden Essential Oils
January 5, 2017
I love love love Edens Garden Essential Oils! The healing properties and scent make me believe that these truly are pure. I use the lavender essential oil for my homemade coconut oil moisturizer. Just a few drops in the jar and I have a lovely, all natural beauty product. It has done wonders for my skin (cleared up annoying acne and prevented the drying effects of winter). I am looking forward to exploring more uses for Edens Garden essential oils.Pros:Lovely scentPURECons:The top makes it tricky to control how many drops you're adding, but I don't mind

I am new to essential oil use. But, I have been really happy with Edens Garden products. They work well for my needs and seem to be strong pure strength essential oils. Recently have made a linen spray for help sleeping. REALLY WORKS!

August 27, 2016
I love lavender it smells so relaxing and calm in our house I quit burning candles coz now I'm pregnant it smells waxy for me so I went and ordered this and an oil diffuser.. I ordered the peppermint before. U will get those in the winter and lime for spring. I just wish the bottles are a little bit bigger but I understand they are 100% pure essential oils. I will defintely recommend these oils and will tell my YT subscribers :)
Always a pleasure
July 21, 2016
This one was a little "musky" or strange smelling for Lavender. I have never been disappointed by this company though.
Good value
April 5, 2016
I ordered this larger bottle of Lavender because it seemed reasonably priced and of higher quality, and I use Lavender essential oil for everything. As part of a beauty regime, you can rub this oil on your temples for relaxation, or use it with some baking soda and raw organic honey for a nice at-home face scrub treatment. Grab some wool dryer balls, dab a bit of this on there, and your laundry will smell heavenly. Overall, I am very pleased with the quality of the product and the smell is strong. I give the product four stars only because the opening of the bottle does not have a dropper or other mechanism to limit how much comes out; I've spilled quite a bit trying to just get a drop. The price for the size of this bottle can't be beat though!

Not sure yet. I use it for bug spray ,baths ,laundry balls. not as strong as oil I had before but happy with purchase.
Not as good as real lavender
June 25, 2015
I didn't find it as sweet-smelling as I thought it would be. It smells more like vegetables than lavender. I guess it's because lavender grows wild where I live. Would I buy it again? Not really. I wouldn't throw it away, maybe I'll get used to it.
More Medicinal, Less Sweetness.
March 16, 2015
This lavender is a bit more harsh smelling than other lavender oils I have used -- less sweetness. Quite medicinal so a little goes a long way.I use lavender oil in candles, home-made cleaning products and air-fresheners, as well as freshening laundry. This bottle has an insert in the neck of the bottle intended as a device to dispense drops of oil. The problem I found is that I have to shake the bottle while it is upside down to get any oil to come out -- and when it does, several drops splatter out. So if you want to use an eye dropper, like I do, for easier and more precise control, you will have to pry out the insert.
Changes....
June 26, 2014
I got this about 1.5 years ago and it smelled awsome. Then I got 2 more a year later and the smell was very very different. I dont know if its by the batch but the 2nd time I felt nausea after smelling it. The way it burnt was different as well. I thought maybe it was my body change in taste but I still have the other one from the first one I bought left and smelled that and I was fine. So I really dont know but Im pretty dissapointed I bought 2 and cant even use it now.
Love Lavender Oil!
June 13, 2013
This product is reasonably priced in comparison to the expensive sales in GNC. I got the product shipped the next day, really impressive. As for the quality, I don't see an issue. It smells just as great as it works to relieve tension in those using it for baths or prior to bedtime. My only problem is the bottle itself, which really bothered me. The opening contains a small hole and the bottle is glass. Prior to taking a bath, I had to stand there shaking this glass bottle to get the drops to dribble out. Sometimes I would be impatient and shake the bottle vigorously, I would use up way to much product. The drops come out clear, so it is hard to see how much you actually get out in a brown colored glass bottle. In the future, I will purchase only brands that make squeeze droppers or large opening to just pour into tub.

Heavy and pungent
April 10, 2017
I tend to love the smell of all lavender, but not so much this one. I can't describe it, it's heavier and more pungent than I'm used to perhaps? I love EG oils, but will be giving a different one of their lavenders a try next time.
It was OK
March 8, 2017
In my opinion, this product was ok.The aroma wasn't as nice as I expected it to be. When I used it in my diffuser, it wasn't as relaxing/soothing as I thought it would be. It's not a bad product; it just wasn't what I was expecting.
Now, I;m not blaming EG for this problem..the actual product is fine!
March 16, 2016
Now, I;m not blaming EG for this problem..the actual product is fine! But, I bought the wrong Lavender essential oil:( This particular lavender eo smells like dried lavender that has been in a dark, cool barn for month's. There's nothing wrong with that,if that's the aroma you're looking for. For me, I much rather prefer French Lavender. That's the one that put's you to sleep, and the aroma of the french lav. is fabulous!!! I've added a great picture below of the different lavenders EG offers. Hope my review helps in your decision making:)
Not the Best Brand
February 2, 2016
I used this product about two years ago when I thought I had hemorrhoids. It didn't work but it made the shallow bath smell good. If I were to add Lavender to a bath today, I would use a better product, like doTerra or Healthy Living.
I really enjoy most oils from Edens Garden
April 3, 2015
I really enjoy most oils from Edens Garden, this lavender however did not smell even close to other lavender oils from other companies. I've tried 3 other companies and they all smelled similar, except this one.
Healing properties are great, smell is not my fave... but that's such a subjective area
July 7, 2014
It's ok. Lavender is a tough one. Everyone has a favorite type of Lavender... so if you think of 20 different cultivars out there, they all may be a little different. No doubt this is a good quality oil, but as personal preferences go, the smell is just ok... as for its other properties, it works great. If you need this for healing, I wouldn't balk at using this.

December 28, 2016
I have always purchased this brand of lavender, but this bottle was not up to standard. The lavender has an off smell I can't discern why. It does not smell like lavender. I will not buy this brand of lavender again.
Don't bother.
June 11, 2015
I should have known that you get what you pay for, this oil does not match any lavender oil I have ever bought. It's just not worth the money, the fragrance is really nothing like the deep lavender fragrance I am used to.

February 14, 2015
Just received this oil in the mail yesterday, very fast shipping, right away opened the bottle of oil and it had a very strong pungent chemical smell, not like the sweet floral lavender I usually get from Aura Cacia which is lavender angustifolia. Maybe am not used to they type of lavender as there are many types out there today. I use essential oils all the time and never smelled anything like this before. Good for use in laundry detergent or as a cleaning oil, but would not apply this product to any child's skin or pets skin. Will continue to shop for Lavender oil at Aura Cacia, and Mountain Herbs as there oils are very fresh and true to nature.
Gives my ointments an acrid medicine smell, no dropper
September 30, 2014
I would have to agree with some of the other critical reviewers, and suspect some batches/harvests are just better than others. Got a 4oz bottle with no dropper, definitely a problem. More importantly, it doesn't smell great, or even that good. I've used pure lavender essential oils many times in the past for aromatherapy diffusers and other uses, and have grown my own. Got it this time to make an ointment with shea butter (great for dry cracked heels, by the way). I don't like most lavender smells, only clean pure lavender. But to my nose, this does smell diluted (weak, as if other oils present) and the overwhelming note is very acrid medicine-like, not floral (as the bottle says) soothing, pleasant or clean like my other pure lavender products. Disappointing. It's a great price on Amazon, but for the smell, I won't buy again. Would be interested in knowing more about their quality control.
Not as good as other brands
April 7, 2014
I use the Aura Cacia brands of essential oils, but they are so small and expensive. Then I saw this one. The price is a great deal for 2oz. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. It does have a nice lavender smell, but there is also this very earthy almost incense like smell too, that just over powers the lavender and ruins anything you put it in. I wouldn't buy it again.

July 22, 2017
I hate that I hate this. This was the second EO I've purchased from their brand. They are a great price and the site has a lot of info regarding EO's. Lavender is my favorite scent in the entire world so I was excited to try this. I keep smelling it all day and I'm not liking it any more than I did when I first opened the bottle. It has a really sharp citrus scent and it does not smell anything like the dried lavender I like to keep around.
Yuck
November 21, 2015
Weird smell, it's not pleasant, the actual company Is ok, just this sent not what I expected, I believed it was gong to be similar to the smell you perceive when you walk past a real lavender plant, don't know what this smells like ? but it's not flowery.
Smells Awful
June 14, 2015
I had high hopes for this oil. When we got it home and tried it, it had an awful odor. It had a hint of lavender smell, but just doesn't smell right at all. I ended up throwing this one away. It smells very synthetic and unnatural.
Lavender shouldn't make family members cringe and friends recoil.
April 25, 2015
I waited until I purchased a different brand before I gave a review. I needed something to compare the horrible smell of this product. It worked for what I purchased it for but the smell was bad. One star for smell, two stars for potency.P.S. In case there are any questions, I bought the same type of lavender as well at 100% grade. Aura Cacia, which smells just like my garden lavender.

Came in the mail quickly! And I love GE but this one is no bueno for me! I will use it for medicinal purposes but thts it. The smell is awful. But after reading a different review I will try the organic kind later. Tht one seems to b the kind i would like. But i have lavindular type oils n they just seem like a lighter smelling lavender. Not sure why this one is dif, but I hate YL's lavender too. I enjoy NOW's lavender and Oshida's. But I still love other GE oils!
I was disappointed with the way it smelled
July 25, 2014
This product arrived on time. As in other reviews, it is very strong. I personally am not crazy about the way it smells, I thought lavender smelled a lot different than this.I had read that placing a drop or two on a cotton ball near your pillow would help you relax and fall asleep. It did not work for me. I was disappointed with the way it smelled.Update: to be fair, I later found out that there are different formulas and I didn't know that at the time of my purchase.I purchased the wrong product, but I don't believe that the retailer explained that on their site.

Worst ever. Into the trash it went!
August 16, 2015
This was positively the absolute worst smelling fragrance that I have ever smelt. I also witnessed 7 other peoples reaction and theirs was the same as mine. It just stunk! I would not ever recommend it and I do not understand how, or believe that it is even sold as a Lavender oil on Amazon. It is however flammable, and you could probably use it to ward off mosquitos or flies. I actually took a spare tiki torches wick and inserted it into the bottle. After waiting around about a minute, I lit it with a lighter and it burned just like a tiki torch! It did however, emit a black sooty smoke and stunk even worse. So into the trash can it went. I promise that I have never written a negative review such as this one, but this crap deserves the truth being told and it is the most appalling scent ever. Maybe mine was a bad batch? Who knows, but believe you me, I'd never buy again nor would I or can I recommend this nasty stuff!

not close to being good. After a see all of those great reviews I was expecting a great quality product, but it's not on par with other cheaper brands ( I can smell something like vegetable cooking oils more than a lavender smell), and far to be close to the good brands. also, i should mention that I bought the Eucalyptus oil from the same company and its bad as this one.

March 24, 2017
Disgusting. The oil smelled like raw sewage. When I contacted the company they gave me a song and dance about how everyone's sense of smell is different and basically dismissed what I had to say. I know what lavender oil is supposed to smell like and this stench isn't lavender.
Smells like dirt
January 13, 2017
I ordered this exact same item last year and it smelled great. I ordered more thinking I was going to have the same experience sadly that wasn't the case. I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what but this smells terrible. I really hate leaving bad reviews especially for a good company but I just can't get past this smell. I heard lavender and lemon go well together bad idea when I mixed the two together it smelled like a sour pickle and I had to pour it out immediately. Sadly the sour smell lingered for a few hours. I guess I will just have to try another brand for my lavender so dissapointed maybe I will try to order a different fragrance from them in the future just not lavender.
