Side by Side Comparison of: LEGO

Got these for my son's 5th birthday. He absolutely loves them. My huband kept all of this old legos from when he was a child and they work together perfectly. The only difference is that these have different color hues than my husband's originals.

Bought this along with the Medium brick set (the one that comes with the plastic yellow bin that looks like a Lego). Enough small builds to keep both my nieces occupied for a bit. A great addition.

This is a great Lego set and a great price. My 7-year-old son prefers to make his own Lego creations rather than to follow instructions, so this is perfect for him. It also provides simple instructions for a some items you can make with this set, and he actually made the dinosaur and loved it. Great colors. I think this is an excellent bargain. I bought a few more to give as gifts because Lego sets can be so expensive.

This was such a great gift for my four year! He has several of the small Lego kits but never interacted with them (except with the figures) so considering his lack of interest, this was a gamble. It turns out the blocks were the missing key- purchased with the green board, he devoted his entire Christmas day and today with playing with these Legos. Win-win (except for the continual Lego clean up and stepping on the tiny pieces).

Perfect addition to my already large and ever growing Lego collection. I am 51 and am proud to say i am still a Legomaniac! This set is just another of the many I have purchased from Amazon and must say I am quite satisfied by the variety of pieces in the box.

My wife and I purchased several different sets of the LEGO Classic Creative line to put the bricks into goodie bags for my son's birthday. The price/brick ratio is reasonable even at straight retail price and it seemed like a great way to give out a handful of Legos to the kids attending the party. But when we bought and opened the boxes we couldn't help but building all of the mini-builds in the instruction booklets. Of the LEGO Classic Creative Bright Supplement, the LEGO Classic Medium Creative Brick Box, and the "Little" LEGO Classic Creative Bricks, this set was my son's favorite. He loved the dinosaur, the shark, and the sub but his absolute favorite was the robot. Of all the mini-builds of those four sets he chose to keep that one.We intended to divide the bricks up but in the end, due to the great brick selection in these sets, we gave each child one of the mini-builds but kept the extra pieces for ourselves.(I also wrote a review for the other Classic Creative Set (the LEGO Classic Creative Bright Supplement) which sums up how I feel about this set as well.)

whats this, well its super fun it easy to take apart and rebuild i done it many times it small but fun you can make a few designs with it on your own i will say this that you get the house even though i do not have it it is pretty cool i hope you have fun

I got this for my granddaughter for Christmas because all she talked about was Minecraft Lego. She is four and crazy about watching Minecraft videos on YouTube. We monitor which ones she sees, of course, and don't allow any violent ones. I thought The Farm Lego set was kind of cute and she was thrilled with it. Of course, she can't quite build them herself, but that's what Grandpa is for!

This was a gift to my 8 and 6 year old nephews. The older one is great at building with Lego, and gladly helps his younger brother out. This set is definitely a little complicated for the younger ones, but a little help from others goes a long way. The amount of blocks and characters included make it well worth the price.

My 7 year old son got this for Christmas. He is a Minecraft fanatic, as are many other boys his age, so this was right up his alley. I like The Farm because it is such an innocent part of Minecraft and it is so alluring to the kids. I remember when my son spent days on growing his own farm in the game, and he would keep me posted on his carrots and wheat and what not, and what is important to grow in Minecraft, etc. This kit has 262 pieces and is rated for ages 8+, but my 4 year old (who has never played Minecraft, but who does listen to his brother talk about it) loves it, too. They will spend hours building the Farm in all different ways. The thing about this lego set is that there isn't just one way to build the Farm. My kids both have many other Lego sets that are finished once they have built them. This one can be built in an infinite number of ways. They can grow their carrot and wheat and put up lanterns where ever they want. This set comes with the main Minecraft guy Steve, a skeleton, a cow, a sheep, a couple of lanterns, a pumpkin head, a shovel for Steve, a treasure chest, a Minecraft "crafting table," platforms on which to work and build, blue clear Legos for water, Legos to build trees, etc. I have even enjoyed building with this set with my boys. The creativity and imagination is endless with this set, and I am planning on getting another open-ended Minecraft Lego set to extend this one. Great job, Lego company.

My son loves this thing. He plays with it all the time! Legos and Minecraft combined is the dream of every 6-12 year old boy, right? I actually really love the Minecraft lego sets because minecraft kits can be added to rather easily since it is "blocky" unlike the lego city cars and such where they just build them and walk away....

The Farm is a truly enchanting and "just right" set. My 8yo son and I have gotten three sets so far (this and The Cave and The First Night) and each has its own "feel"...and they go together seamlessly (literally and figuratively). Even though I am not a Minecraft player myself I found this set to be great fun.

It's a good set. I wish it also had some wheels to make cars in it.

My son grew tired of the assemble by numbers kits and wanted to do his own thing. We bought him two boxes of these, which seem to be making him happy. One benefit is there are a number of suggestions of various project to build using these kids on Lego's website, so it ended up being the best of both worlds: lots of basic blocks for building your own creations, and assembly instructions for a variety of mini projects.

It was hard to picture how many legos would be in here. The box was about the size of a sheet of paper and 2" thick. I probably should've purchased a bigger package. However, legos are great and my son is making the most of these by free-building a city. He has come up with some great creations on his own, rather than using a kit (which he typically has in the past). This is a great product to get imaginations going!

Bought as a gift, have no idea if kid likes or not. It's fine, I guess.

Cute set. All the pieces were there and in good shape. Nothing was misshapen. The cow and sheep were seperate blocks that you actually put together yourself to make them which was the highlight of my son's day when he put it together. It had step by step instruction books with it on how to make it exact and my 6 year old son was able to follow the instructions by himself to get it put together, so its pretty easy to understand. After getting it put together once and taking it apart to build things differently, he lost most of the smaller pieces, but kids will be kids.

I purchased this kit for my 7 yr old grandson. He loves Legos and likes to come up with his own designs. This kit has directions but also says to do it your own way. The kit has a large variety great unique pieces such as sheep, flowers and vegetables. The only draw back is the pieces are very small and can be hard to find if they fall on the floor.

I am a huge minecraft fan. Also a lego fan. I bought this for something to do while sitting at my desk and was happy when it arrived. After putting it together I realized that there wasn't much to do with it. There wasn't enough dirt pieces to make a hut. So definitely going to need to add it to another set to make a suitable play set. That's the reason for the 4 stars

It's minecraft. Cost a little to much, bought it just so kids could have something minecraft with legos.

My son loves this lego. I don't really get the whole mine craft thing, but he was overjoyed to receive it. He has been playing with it constantly. I'm so happy with it because it gets him away from the TV. He seems to really be using his imagination. I gave it four stars instead of 5 because I wish it was like 10 dollars less. We have a lot of Legos so I'm used to them being expensive. I just think for what it is the price is a little much. But anything minecraft will sell.

A funny read but the pages are falling out after less than a month of use. The mini figure has no issues and the book is fun, just very disappointed that pages of the reading portion have come out.

Loved the assortment and lots of fun building options. HOWEVER, ours did NOT include the brick separator as described, a $2.49 item. Box had been opened,and taped closed, but the individual bags of bricks had not been opened so I dismissed the matter. However, after he began to build, after the birthday gift was given, did we realize the omission. This must be why it is cheaper from this seller versus Lego.com. Disappointed beginner Lego Builder and grandma gift giver. Will not shop here again.

Most of the pieces are not unique/odd shaped. Unless your child is a lego fanatic and know that there is one particular piece that they just HAVE to have to complete a project, I would not waste your money.

This is a nice set of bricks, but the lack of wheels and other types of pieces leaves something to be desired. The colors are great, so if you're just looking to expand a varied collection, this might be the set for you.

While this is a fun set that my child enjoys , the three stars is for the quality of the bricks themselves . Just with about 4-5 uses about 17 bricks have developed cracks ! They have always been used on carpeted floors by a mild mannered child so I don't recommend based on quality issues

creative but junk

Everybody loves LEGO... but I returned this item because it did not come w/ any instruction. We could probably use them but for kids, the lego step by step instruction is just as important as each of the Lego pieces.So consider my review in specific to this order and not the product itself.

Package was dented and looked old. The top had also been opened and taped shut. Giving as gift and too late to return. Everything on inside looks like it is still intact. Legos are too small and too expensive to have the top open when purchased.

For Minecraft fans only. No play value, and pretty much useless if not paired with other Minecraft sets. This set is basically just an animal pen with a stylized pig and cow, and a small vegetable garden with a few carrots. Not recommended for casual builders. Good for parts to build up the Minecraft world.

Not work the money

My 7 year old grandson likes anything mine craft and it kept him amused for hours.

Our product came and appears to be used. I'm not pleased at all! For the price I should have gotten a NEW one, not a used one. Unreal!!
