Five Star Reviews: | 45% Can't Go Wrong With This One October 21, 2016 Very easy set-up; just follow the instructions from the box. High quality trampoline. I love it. There are several trampolines this size at my gym and they're not nearly as high in quality. There's a big difference when using this one; better lift, better workout for cardio and legs and core. Also, the stability bar is fantastic. I haven't used the DVDs so note that I'm giving 5 stars even without that! AWESOME workout May 8, 2014 I love my rebounder. I have been working out on it since I got it. I totally feel the burn when using it and feel so energized. I put on my soca music and off I go. The only negative I have is one of the legs seems to be shorter than all the rest. Not sure if this was intentional or not but without it being on an incline with the 2 longer legs the rebounder is too wobbly and noisy as that short leg is constantly banging on the floor. My thoughts are perhaps I can buy another leg to make it even with the rest. besides that I love it. It holds my weight (I am 230lbs) to which I was kinda conceded with when I was purchasing it. The workout DVD is awesome too. I use it as well as do my own thing utilizing many of the steps I learned on the DVD. Sometime it is just easy for me to just workout to my own music. :) Very happy with my new Urban Rebounder January 11, 2014 After looking high and low for an affordable yet sturdy and reliable rebounder, I decided on the Urban Rebounder. The price was incomparable to other rebounders of similar quality, yet I was worried about the poor reviews of the "toxic smell" and the noisy springs. I just put it together this morning so I cannot give a review regarding the longevity, but I only noticed a very, very slight ordor (and I am very chemically sensitive and hate that rubber smell) that will not bother me nor my husband who is also sensitive to smell, and after jumping a few times on the unit, the springs seem quiet. I cannot compare to other rebounders with rubber bands instead of springs, but I didn't find it loud at all and could easily hear the TV playing whilst jumping. The only noise that was loud was that on some rebounds, the springs were adjust and make a louder noise, but that was maybe 1 time per 30 seconds - nothing to complain about. Since this is my first attempt at rebounding, I wanted to start with an affordable rebounder to see if I like it, so I am very happy with this selection. Durable!! March 5, 2013 We have owned many, many mini trampolines (all cheaper than this one). Most of them break within a month of use. We have been using this one for daily for 2 months and it still works perfectly!! Nothing has broken! It is so much nicer than the ones we have owned previously. It is much more quiet and durable! Thank you for making such a high quality product! An update: we have now owned it for 4 months. Even with daily use, no broken parts! We are very happy with this trampoline! Excellent customer service! After having this trampoline for a year and a half (and using it about 2 hours daily), a piece broke (a metal piece that attaches the springs to the pads). I contacted the Urban Rebounder company, and they allowed me to order a replacement piece at a very reasonable price. So our trampoline is just like new again. I am so impressed with this trampoline, and The Urban Rebounder company! Thank you so much! Another update on 12/4/2014: We have needed to replace new springs, but were not able to get them because Urban Rebounder is making a slightly different model of rebounder than we have. We ordered a new one. It seems just as sturdy as the older one, but it is much louder. Urban Rebounder is the only one to buy! July 19, 2009 I am 71 years old and in great shape. I have worn out countless (perhaps 14? 15? rebounders) I used to buy the affordable ones normally offered at Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Sports Stores. However, they wore out very shortly...usually, the springs sprung! The web shattered. And, the give was not kind on my back. However, when I went to a Sports Store to replace my old rebounder...they had 3 rebounders featured side by side. And, yes, Urban Rebounder blew me away! The bounce was totally different from anything I'd ever experienced before. I paid 3x more than I had ever paid. Yet...so worth it to me. For some reason, I thought it would last for more than two years, since the springs were twice as large, and the webbing seemed strong. However, the webbing began to give way, and shred...I attempted to call and figure out how I could replace the webbing, since everything else was wonderful. I checked all the Sports Stores. None had a clue. Then, I called the 800 # and got a phone who informed me that the webbing would cost (?) dollars, plus the rebounder plus shipping would cost (??) amount of dollars. Overall I am very pleased with my purchase. Great Detox! June 17, 2015 This is by far the best rebounder I have owned to date (I have had 3 previously all different and decided to spend out a little extra to get something more sturdy and professional) Even in the first few days, I could feel a difference using this product. It’s really well made and much more study than my previous models. It has a clever hinge folding design that takes seconds to set up easy to store away. The rebounder assembles easily and quickly in less than five minutes. Just face the mat side to the floor, pull the legs out gently, which will then spring into their rightful place (as will you after some weeks and months of rebounding). Then you are ready to go! My body felt lighter and bubbly. I felt increased joy on and off the rebounder. Anti-gravity is youthifying! I desired to return to the rebounder again and again, excited by the changes, and thoroughly enjoying my exercise session. This must be the only exercise that I feel such a vast change, which I put down to the anti-gravity lymph cleansing and really feel that this rebounder is perfectly sprung and made for me. Its neither too soft so your ankles don’t role inwards nor too hard making it kind on my joints. I enjoy starting my day with a short rebounding session to reboot my body after sleeping. I then return to the rebounder later for longer sessions following the instructional DVD which is nicely presented and well thought out routines. I am working through the levels and can now complete the advanced workout which is a real challenge but great fun. You can feel the lymph system working and am convinced of its detoxifying properties. I am a pilates instructor and use rebounding with some of my clients – they love it. I have noticed a greater sense of balance. When you are rebounding, all areas where you hold your body incorrectly begin to loosen up and self-correct. Perhaps you feel similar effects with yoga, pilates and other exercises, yet in those instances it requires effort. With the rebounder the return to alignment and balance feels effortless. June 16, 2015 Very impressed with my Maximus Rebounder. Arrived very fast and nicely packaged. Surprisingly easy to set up and folds down in to very small space which is great when if like me you haven’t much storage space in your apartment. Comes with a canvas storage bag also which is neat. Very soft bounce and quiet bounce and I must say better all round than my old cheap mini trampoline. All round well made and solid. The springs are larger than the average trampoline so I guess that’s what gives you a softer bounce. The Package includes bands and sand filled weights which I find are great for toning front and back of my arms also. There is a handle bar you can attach but I haven’t used this but useful for anyone older or needing more stability. Maybe I can get my Mum bouncing now! Have done 2 of the workouts already (beginners and intermediate workouts) and absolutely love it! It’s impossible not to have a smile on your face, it’s not even like doing normal exercise. It’s Fun! My Polar watch says I burnt 462 calories in the 30 minute beginners workout and 620 calories in the intermediate workout, so very happy. It takes me 50 minutes running at 10kmh to burn the equivalent on the treadmill. I know you can use the sand weights whilst following the routine which I guess would burn even more calories. The instructor on the DVD is very encouraging and motivating. There are balance exercises and abdominal exercises also and finishes with a nice stretch that leaves you feeling really lovely and calm. Just worth a mention – You can really feel your legs and buttocks working when following the instructors routine so I know it’s working! Can recommend to anyone finding normal exercising a bore and fancy doing something fun that’s doesn’t leave you feeling beat up! I can recommendation for anyone wanting an alternative to normal boring exercise and for people wanting to get back in to shape (like myself!) or for losing weight. This product gets my 5 star rating and approval. Very happy with my purchase. Awesome Product May 12, 2015 I do have a non folding unit also which I use a lot in my home gym but I decided to invest in a unit that you can fold away and transport so I can take it away with me when I travel (it fits in the trunk of my car) and I do actually find rebounding the best exercise for me and the most enjoyable. I burn a huge amount of calories in a short amount of time every time I use it and for me I find it far more enjoyable than going to the gym (especially if I am short of time and need a quick all over workout blast) This unit certainly lives up to its Maximus name! It arrived on time and is well packaged, extremely robust and well engineered. It comes with everything I need in the package. I like the fact you can fold the unit and store away in a neat storage bag. It has resistance bands that attach to the rebounder that I use for my upper body exercises and hand held sand filled bean bags for a bit of extra resistance. There is a handle bar that comes as part of the package – I don't need to use this but my Mum does as she says it makes her feel more confident using it. She uses it for the lymphatic drainage. I have done the beginners and now progressed on the intermediate workout which is quite challenging but the best rebounding workouts I have followed as the instructor is really fun and sincere. I have found other rebounding dvds very old fashioned and cheesy but the one that comes with this rebounder is very modern and has a toning and a stretch section also which is neat. I am aware of the benefits from rebounding and have personally seen amazing results so I would recommend this piece of fitness equipment for anyone wanting to get in to shape, lose weight and have some fun at the same time. Don't waste your money on cheap tightly sprung mini trampoline toys they are a waste of time and money. This is the BMW of rebounders! I give it my 5 star rating. |

Four Star Reviews: | 18% Of course a week after I received this one I found one like my old one at a thrift store May 28, 2017 I've never been able to figure out how to fold this back up. I had only used it for a few weeks when a spring was yanked out of the loop. I can still use it but I'm afraid to really go for it and jump harder. I had a really simple older mini-tramp that had lasted a couple of years before springs started to give and replaced it with this. Of course a week after I received this one I found one like my old one at a thrift store. They don't make 'em like they used to. I can't get the handle to work properly, though I never needed one before. I have never watched the DVD as I prefer to watch news/listen to my ipod while working out. No joint stress! Love it! January 5, 2017 Three workouts so far on this Christmas present. Love it! No soreness or joint pain following my workout. It is fun and I don't have to leave my house. CONS: a bit of a challenge to open from the box and easy to pinch a finger setting it up. Does require two people, so it is not a device I will put away between workouts. PROS: stable for heavy people. Highly recommended for anyone with knee pain who has given up on getting a good workout. Works for me, aches and all June 1, 2013 I bought this because I wanted an at home exerciser I could do and not flair up my athiritis causing my joints to hurt. If used correctly this takes pressure off your knees and joints while giving a good cardio and body toning workout. Video is good and well done; it even has a section for Seniors. You can tell you're getting stronger and building endurance by how much of the workout you can complete (with less breaks). The stabilizer bar is an excellent height for 5ft tall people like me. This is good daily or just a few times a week. You can leave it up so you can get on it anytime and do a quick 5-15 minutes because it doesn't take up a great deal of space. 1/4 Fold Elevated Urban Rebounder Trampoline September 25, 2012 The product was timely received but with a few problems. The first thing I noticed after opening the box is the smell. My plan was to keep it in the bedroom but couldn't the first few nights due to the smell. The good news is that the smell does dissipate over time. Also, when unfolding the trampoline for the first time I noted that three of the springs were disconnected and had to be reattached. It required a vice grip and some tugging at them but I was able to get them reattached. At this point I started to screw on the legs only to find that two of the legs had not been machined properly and were too big such that they would not attach properly to the threaded posts. I called the manufacture's toll free number to report the problem. The customer service rep I spoke with was professional and promised that I would received replacement legs within a week. True to their word I had them within five days and they worked. Like anyone I obviously don't like having a problem with a product right out of the box, but when I do I like it when it is a "one and done" phone call to fix the problem. Since receipt of the replacement legs I have been using it daily. The trampoline seems sturdy and appears to be well made. The only thing I didn't care for is the stabilizing bar which was wobbly so I've decided not to use it. Bottom line for me is that this is the third trampoline I've owned and beats, hands down, the first two which I purchased from national sporting goods chain stores both of which fell apart after only a few months of use. I'm only 135 lbs so it is definitely not me. Finally, I was going to give it just three stars because of the initial problems I had but good customer service from the company earned it another star. great for learning how to rebound March 31, 2012 I've only had this for a week, so if it breaks or frays before a few months at least, I"ll do another review. The company made an error in shipping me a stabilizing bar that had top pieces that didn't fit together. I called, they asked for 'proof of purchase,' then told me they'd send one that fit. Still haven't gotten it, but it doesn't matter. The bar would only get in my way. That said, there's definitely a learning curve to doing this exercise. At first I didn't understand that you don't "jump," you jam the balls of your feet into the mat. The 'rebounding' action is what gives you the exercise. The video that comes with is wonderful for teaching how to do it. I watched several times while learning, and by the fourth day I understand what it's supposed to feel like. The first few days I did feel like my innards were going to drop out. You have to learn to use your abdominals and maintain the correct posture/stance while using this, or runs to the bathroom are, um, frequent. I "got" it by day 4. It's a fantastic workout when doing it right. Couldn't do the beginners workout for the whole fifteen minutes at first. Next day, all leg muscles achey but without the 'heaviness' that comes with usual "charlie horse." And NO joint pain. Just equally distributed mild muscle pain that showed me I was using all my muscles. By day 4 I worked up to 20 minutes, and have to say I have to make myself stay off the thing. Folding it up is nearly impossible on your own, so just leave it down. You can tip it to roll it out of the way. But if it's down on the floor you're going to want to jump on it at least several times a day because it's fun. I do find the bounce a little stiff; but at this price, once I know I'm going to stay with rebounding, I'll purchase a more expensive better quality rebounder. For starters, I am glad I have this. Put your favorite dance music on, and it's actually crazy-fun to use. | 14% Fun way to get your cardio in! May 21, 2017 This is a great rebounder and was shipped to me in one day. Unfortunately I had to return due to the stress it put on my knees. I wouldn't recommend to those with calf or knee problems. Other than that, the exercise is fun, exciting and gives a good cardio workout. Comes with workout DVD, resistance bands, sand bags to hold while rebounding and a bar for help with balance. Nice Quality and Easy to Assemble May 17, 2017 It's a nice rebounder with lots of accessories. My only issue is that mine seems to be stained in a few areas. There is some sort of yellow stain on some of the white areas. Otherwise, it was easy to open. I like that it was already assembled. I didn't love that some of the others that I was seeing you had to put together. Seems sturdy and I love all of the additional gear that comes with it. I can see myself using this a lot. Loved the rebounder everything is OK only the disc does ... December 21, 2016 Loved the rebounder everything is OK only the disc does not open....This isy fourth rebounder in 15 years.....I have had to leave them when moving this one is transportable.....Very nice Was able to handle a lot of weight and still felt sturdy. October 29, 2016 I was worried it would not be able to stand up to a lot of weight, or it might wiggle, or the bars would be too flimsy...It did OK though. The bar you don't really tug on, just sort of steady yourself, so though it wobbled a bit it seemed sturdy. The unit itself seemed firmly seated on the floor and didn't give any signs of moving around or threatening to be weak kneed. UPDATE.12/2016 This trampoline just had a work out big time, and it stood up to it. Wasn't me, and I don't know how the jumper jumped as long as they did, but a definite work out! Good for the price, but noisy. October 22, 2015 A strong, sturdy rebounder. A bit hard to set up initially, and definitely squeaks a lot (even after lubricating the springs) but decent for the price. If noise bothers you I recommend investing in a bungee cord rebounder. |

June 18, 2017 Received and was anxious to use immediate but one spring had fallen loose or had not been properly secured during manufacturing. Would need to return if someone didn't have a tool to secure the spring. Definitely could not do it by hand. QC should have caught this at time of packing. If it does rip- it's great May 6, 2017 Ripped after 1 week!! I'm going to adjust my review a bit because if not for this rip after one week, I was extremely thrilled and would have given the product a five! I'm going to adjust my review for 3 stars since Amazon is going to send me a new product. If it rips again, I'm going to go back to one star! Foot pronation issues due to soft middle of mat. July 21, 2016 Foot pronation issues due to the softer middle part of the mat. The outer part is stiff. Middle of the road rebounder. Springs are noisy. Easy to put together. Love that it folds. The first two times it gave me a headache. I'm up to ten minutes three times a day now. Once I can go a full 30 minutes I'm sure I'll see improvement in my middle aged legs. I felt for the price this would be the best one for me, so that in the event the novelty wears off and I get bor d of the thing, I wouldn't be about 300$. I do like this form of exercising. The springs are not attached to the metal rim, but to a metal pin and that I felt was a superior design for a spring model. For me, I cannot go longer than 10 minutes at a time because the pronation this inflicts on my feet due to rolling in on the softer middle part of the mat causes my feet to hurt. I do wear very good supportive shoes while jumping. It worked for awhile... needs better engineering. November 22, 2014 The Urban Rebounder lasted for about 2 1/2 years of daily use before it ultimately failed. The cover lasted about a year. Lost a spring the second year though didn't really impact performance. The final issue was with the stabilizer bar. It connects to the actual legs. While you use the bar there is light push and pull motion. This motion in turn over time broke the weld of one leg. There was the squeak of springs while using it though for the most part seemed durable. springs break off during jump November 13, 2010 Had been using the Urban rebounder for about 6 months. No problems up till then, Was great for weight loss (60#) and kept my blood sugars with in normal limits with out any diabetic meds (yeah for that) but the springs , 2 of them came shooting out while I was jumping one day. one put a dent in my wall. I was grateful my 2 grandsons (age 2) were not around because the force of the release of springs would have injured them, or anyone else in its path. Very disapointing. And of course when this happened it nearly dumped me off. I have seen where others have had this problem too. That was my only complaint. I loved it up till then. I haven't tried the petroleum jelly they recommend, because I'm afraid it will be messy. I live in a rural area, so there's no one to hear the squeaks but me, but I could imagine this could be...downright embarrassing in an apartment. This cost one star. --Not as portable as they want to make you think. It takes TWO PEOPLE to fold this thing up for storage or to take with you. Make no mistake--YOU CANNOT FOLD THIS THING UP BY YOURSELF--this cost one star. Broken, I cannot set the bar... ... January 5, 2017 Broken, I cannot set the bar... Granted I decided I do not need it.. but I payed more for this and wish I could have put it on. FAULTY CROSS BAR December 13, 2016 The actual platform is firm and works well. The big problem is the cross bar. It does not remain in place. It separates in the middle, the snap does not stay in place, and it happens when you are using it. Not a nice experience. I noticed when I setting it up that there were marks on the rubber grips as if it were already used. It looked like as it someone had applied pressure/pounded on it. The chrome areas were scratched. I may have received a used part. I just have not yet called and informed them of my issues |

Two Star Reviews: | 9% ALREADY USED November 27, 2016 PRODUCT CAME DAMAGE - ALL SPRINGS WHERE NOT CONNECTED ON THE UNIT LOOK AS IF IT WAS ALREADY USED BEFORE I was so excited.... May 28, 2014 I just got my UR in the mail and was very excited to start using it and see all the positive results mentioned by others. However, upon opening it I was overwhelmed with the smell. Since I live in a studio apartment, it is truly impossible to escape. I put it in my closet overnight so I could sleep and then tried airing it out in front of window with fans while I was at work. 24 hours later, it still smell, and seems to be burning my eyes as well. Has anyone had success getting the smell off of the product? I have many issues with the springs breaking! August 28, 2013 The trampoline was purchased less than a year ago and I have been through 3 sets of springs. I purchased it as a gift for my son who is 200 pounds. The weight limit was set at 300 pounds. Not sure why the springs continue to break. Either the weight limit is incorrect or the springs are defective! Very disappointed in this as we have spent more money on this rebounder than any in the past and have sunk even more money on replacement springs!!! Worked fine but the horrific smell was a deal breaker August 25, 2013 After unpacking we noticed the smell and thought it would dissipate, no such luck. My wife became physically ill and had a major headache. Packed it up and returned it. I've visited factories in China years ago and recognized the odor immediately. They don't have an EPA over there and any chemical available is used without concern for human safety.... Don't count on a video April 11, 2012 After reading some of the other reviews, I guess that I should not have gotten my hopes up that I would have a complete set (Rebounder & video). On my 1st shipment, I did not receive a video & did not receive an instructions manual. I spoke to customer service & had to return the original package & re-order another. This one came with a video & manual. I was very excited to give it a try. The "mega video" is supposed to be a compilation of several videos from beginner to advanced. When I played the video it was extremely grainy..it looked like a video that had been poorly copied multiple times. The video played the introduction but would not play the individual workouts....I was VERY disappointed. I think that I would really enjoy this rebounder if only the videos worked. I am suprised that Amazon continues to ship this out when they KNOW that there is a problem with the videos. | 4% Updated review - it squeaks! July 31, 2017 UPDATED REVIEW This is the noisiest rebounder I've ever owned. It comes with a jar of Vaseline, which you are supposed to use to lubricate "the areas where the spring meets the other metal every 6 months". I've had it for less than a month, and have used it about 10-12 times. I spent 15 minutes applying the Vaseline to those areas, and it didn't make a difference. I then used WD40 on the springs themselves, and that quieted it down. However, within 5 minutes of me jumping again, it started to squeak loudly. (I'm barely 100 lbs). Also, you get a free 3 month subscription to access their online videos. Unfortunately, you still have to have a different kind of subscription to access the videos I wanted (I really wanted to see what in the world the little weights are for, or how I'm supposed to connect them to the apparatus). Basic instructions for everything that's included in the box should be a part of the purchase. Don't make me pay more to find out! Also, the material that is sewn into the parts that hold the springs to the bounce area is yellowing (within the first couple of days), which makes me nervous about the stability and whether or not that's a sign of disintegration. I do like that I can fold the legs down very easily without spending a ton of time unscrewing each one, then trying to find a place to keep the legs. MANUAL SAYS: NEED 2 PEOPLE TO FOLD SMALLER; HARD ON KNEES; DANGEROUS TO CLOSE; INCONVENIENT TO RETURN January 2, 2017 This piece of equipment is sturdy and well made. Unfortunately, I will have to return it for two reasons: 1.) The springs are hard on my knees. I am an overweight, out-of-shape woman. Perhaps someone more physically fit would be able to absorb the shock of the springs and get a vigorous workout, but the workout, because of the springs, is too vigorous and too hard on my knees. 2.) You can open the trampoline easily, but according to the owner's manual, it REQUIRES TWO PEOPLE to fold it to make it smaller and I have no one to help me. Also, there is a piece of material sewn into the jumping pad that says, "Revised Closing Instructions." These instructions are very difficult to follow; the need to revise makes me think that others have had serious problems closing the device. I know no one who can help me and I cannot begin to close it. I need to return it! The company is located in Britain and there is no phone number to call for help. If you are in the market for a foldable trampoline, ask a question on Amazon about how heavy it is and if one person can easily fold it smaller. It's going to be a challenge for me to return it. The box is heavy, too. I regret purchasing it because returning the item - folding the item - is a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE. BUMMER. October 11, 2016 Well this was great for 3 weeks until I traveled it. Sadly, I went to collapse the legs and it totally broke off!!! What a disappointment, up until now I was a SOLID fan. REAL BUMMER! I thought it was supposed to be springy but the spring broke!!! Surprisingly disappointed January 7, 2016 With such great reviews, and the price point of this item, I was disappointed. The legs are so wobbly it's hard to stay centered when jumping. The bar also has a lot of movement. I can pull the bar about 4 inches in each direction, which makes the whole unit clatter when jumping. I love the idea of rebounding for exercise, but this isn't the trampoline for me. not what was expected November 10, 2015 This product arrived in a timely fashion. Set up was very simple. Unfortunately folding it back to down to fit in the carrying bag has yet to be achieved. The weight limit is very accurate, while this was purchased for a high energy 9 year old on the spectrum (80lbs), many adults coming to our home have enjoyed a few jumps on it. Unfortunately after a couple months of consistent daily use, from the 9 year old this trampoline is no longer stable. The rubber feet continue to fall off and the entire trampoline is very wobbly, nearly giving me a heart attack whenever the children start to use it. I expected with the weight limit and it being a bit on the higher end price wise, it would have lasted longer. This is the reason I specifically chose this one. If an adult is using this daily to exercise, as it is advertised for, I would not expect they will be happy. This is not the quality i expected for over 200 dollars. |

Two of the straps broke off into pieces. It is a piece of junk. Don't buy!!!!!!!!!!! Broke in less than 3 months - very unhappy! August 23, 2016 I purchased my Urban Rebounder Trampoline in June 2016 (less than 3 months ago) and this morning a spring attachment strap broke - see photo. I exercise/rebound on my rebounder 3-5 days per week for a half hour at a time and weigh 150 lbs. - I do not come close to the maximum weight limit of 300 lbs. I do not recommend the Urban Rebounder Trampoline. UPDATE 12/8/16: Urban Rebounder sent me a replacement. NOW SPRINGS KEEP BREAKING on my new replacement - 2 so far. They will only send me new springs that I have to install myself. This thing is a piece of junk and should be recalled. It is very dangerous when the springs break and pieces of metal spring go shooting across the room. FUMES MAKE IT UNUSABLE March 15, 2016 I recently bought and returned this trampoline. It was janky right of the box, the paint chipping off and the legs a little wobbly. But by far the worst part of this was the smell! Intense glue fumes made it impossible to keep in the house, my eyes stung and my throat burned! I can't believe the fumes the workers must be exposed to while making them. I bought a Jumpsport for twice the price and am 10 times as happy with it. Just say NO! March 19, 2015 I was so excited to receive my Urban Rebounder. As soon as it was delivered, I quickly changed into my workout gear and went downstairs to assemble it and begin my workout. 30 minutes later, I went back upstairs and was a bit out of breath. My husband asked if the rebounder was a good workout to which I replied, “I wouldn’t know, I’m still trying to set it up”. The instructions warn that opening and closing the rebounder may be difficult the first few times. Difficult is an understatement…I struggled to open the machine by myself. Once I finally got the rebounder opened, I set about trying to install the stabilizing bar. This proved to be an impossible task as the pieces were either not machined properly or were warped and did not fit together. On top of this, flecks of paint from the rebounder chipped off all over the floor. In addition, the odor from the mat was unbearable. The manufacturer fails to inform you prior to purchase that it takes two people to close the machine for storage. After spending over an hour attempting to assemble, then disassemble, and re-pack this piece of junk, it was immediately returned to Amazon. I am so disappointed by the quality of the Urban Rebounder. It really is a piece of cheap garbage. Do yourself a favor January 28, 2015 If negative stars were possible, this thing would be minus 50. After my kids (6, 9 and 12) used it about a couple dozen times at most, the plastic in the bottom of two of the legs came off, washers starting falling out, and it gouged a deep circle in my hardwood floor. Out of the box, it was shaky and never stable. It really is a piece of cheap garbage. Quality leaves much to be desired!! May 24, 2016 Product came quickly but it is not high quality. I can barely workout due to the squeek of this product. It is wobbly and scares me to even use it. If I still had the box I would return it. I am 5'4" 160 so it should be able to hold me without feeling like it is going to break. ******Beware******* January 4, 2016 So far so good. I got this to replace a less expensive trampoline that lasted for two days!!!! I did not have the money to buy the more popular brands that would support my current weight. This unit is well constructed. I will post updates if something negative happens with the trampoline. Well after 15 months of use the springs started breaking. The unit is very wobbly as well.The legs seem to be bending inward. I contacted the company about the springs for the unit. They never responded. I ended up going to a hardware store to get some springs although they are not the right ones. I will be searching for a better unit. For the price, stick to a unit that has good customer service and affordable parts availability. Major disappointment. October 14, 2015 Rubbish - The safety bar won't install. The bars should slide in, but they can't because there is metal that wasn't filed down properly. This makes me curious about what other safety flaws may be present. The product does fold, but it takes two strong, brave people to fold it (I'm guessing, we haven't been able to fold it yet, I'll let you know after my thumb heals from our attempts), so returning is a total hassle. The price is for a quality rebounder, and that is not what you will receive. Major disappointment. |
