I can't say enough about Calphalon cookware, this is the best stuff. You can use any utensil in them, they do not stick, and clean up is a breeze. I am slowly replacing all my pans with Calphalon.

MY SON LOVES IT

This is a great wok and is perfect size for my family of 3. We make a lot of sauté vegitables, soups and all kinds of other items. We found it very univeral in terms of use and make most of my dinners in it.The non stick coating is very high quality and has life time warranty towards manufacturing defects. I found this "contemporary" series better than most other series in terms of quality.My mom was visiting and she loved it so much, we got one for her as a gift. :)

I was on the lookout for a daily use , sturdy wok. The carbon steel Chinese woks let me down badly - rusting, non stick surface wear out etc.I am impressed with this one because, a ) it is the right size b) it is well built, hard anodized is a plus.It's been a few weeks since I've started using it and I love it. Perfect size for a family of 4. Sturdy heavy pan with a steady handle. I haven't used it in the dishwasher yet. Clean up is easy. Will have more updates with continued use. So far happy!

Nice product, on the smaller size for stir fry pans but it was purchased as a 16 year olds first pan so for her purpose it is perfect. As new cook she will surely get many good years of use from it! The Contemporary Calphalon series does not disappoint as it has even heating, easy to clean, durable, heavy elegant cookware! I would recommend this item to most!

I have been looking for a flat bottom wok and this fit my needs. 10-inch is the right size for me. This wok is a little heavier, I assume it's better built quality. The handle is nice to hold. The coating material is superb, not like other cheap teflon. It says Lifetime Warranty but I doubt they would honor if the coating wear off over time.Overall I'm really happy with this wok knowing it's PFOA free.

The pan is super! Even though I love the pan it's getting less than 5 stars for one reason. You can't get a lid for it. Beware that even though it says it's a 10 inch pan, it's not. It's actually a hair over 11". So don't bother buying any of Calphalon's 10 inch lids; they won't fit.

I like this pot, however it was smaller than I wanted. One onion, one bell pepper and one small package of mushrooms and the pan was PACKED! I'm a vegetarian so I kept it so my husband could use it to stir fry chicken and I am going to order the larger 13" wok for general vegetable stir frying. I generally like to toss in broccoli, carrots and other veggies and I can't imagine all that fitting in this pan.

LUVS THIS but cant find lid. Ordered the 10 inch lid that comes with it. BUT It does not fit! So i ordered 12 inch and that didn't fit?? will be sending them back.. ordered the 13 inch with the lid on it . Pray it fits. Hope they make it by Christmas.!!

Just used my stir fry pan for the first time and love it overall. It was a bit too small for one of the dishes I made but will adjust the quantity in the future. Even on high heat it didn't brown the meat as much as I would have liked--again, not a big problem. It does require both hands to use as it really moves around on the burner, more than the frying pans I have been using for stir-frying.

I really like the non-stick quality of the pan itself - I've used it several times & it heats well, and can be preheated in the oven to get it really smokin' hot before starting. It cleans up great. The pan measures 10.5 & my 10" lid falls inside. The hole for hanging it by the handle is a horizontal oval. A real pain. I solve the problem by running a stainless steel beaded key chain thru the hole so I can hang it up on a sturdy hook.

Though the pan says 10" on its bottom, it is actually 10.75" at the rim. The 10" cover doesn't fit. Other than that...nice pan. Just wish it had a cover.

Works fine but have only used 3 or 4 times. Only time will tell how it stands up to wear and tear.

IT WOULD BE MUCH BETTER IF THE LID FIT...

Upon first usage the bottom of my pan was totally scratched up by my electric coil stove top, also I have to turn the heat up to 8/10 to really start cooking things as the heat transfer is just not working as I would expect. The thickness of this wok may also contribute to my problem as thinner ones are able to transfer heat to the food faster.I really enjoy the build quality of this and my problem may be solely based on my stove top style. For others: I wouldn't avoid this if you have a different style stove top... please read other's reviews as well.

This is marketed as a 10 inch pan -- but it measures 10 and 3/4 inches across the rim. This means the 10inch glass lid recommended to go with it DOES NOT FIT!!!!!!

The pan is nice and performs well when I don't need to cover it, but it is larger than I expected and is not 10" as stated in the website (and stamped onto the bottom of the pan). It's nearly 11" across which was a problem for me, as it doesn't fit any of my 10" covers, which fall into it, and my 11" cover is too large for it. And to make it worse, Calphalon and Amazon gave me the royal runaround before admitting the company does not sell any cover to fit this odd-sized pot. It's not a standard size and it annoys me that's it's clearly marked 10" when it's not. I'd like to stir fry and braise in this pot, but that's not possible without a cover that fits. If it says 10" it should be 10".

This product is labeled as a 10" wok. It measures 11". SO...it will NOT fit the 10" lid I also ordered from Amazon that advertized it would fit it. UGH!

Way smaller than expected. For the price it should come with a cover at least.

it says - it is dishwasher safe - for the first time in 4-5 months we put it in dishwasher - surface completely gone. misleading product specifications.please be aware

The package of the wok looked like it was opened before by someone else. The coating is not smooth and there is a bump on it. I highly doubt that it was returned by someone else before and then sold to me. Returning it. Hope it will not be sold again.

I am writing this review 7 months after my initial purchase and one and half months after getting an exchange/replacement from Calphalon. I asked for a replacement when, after several months use, my wok bottom exterior all but disintegrated, exposing large areas of raw aluminum; the rim also began to show similar loss of coating in some places. I thought at that time that perhaps I just got a defective unit, and I requested and got a replacement. However, this replacement unit is doing the very same thing. So on 7/15, I sent Calphalon the following email:“I am not writing to ask for yet another replacement: I just want to show you what this wok is like after less than one month's use (see attached). During this time, I have been quite careful to keep to medium heat and to heat up slowly; you can't really do stir fry on very low heat, you know. I did continue to wash it in a dishwasher since it is supposed to be dishwasher safe. But by now, I have reluctantly concluded this wok is just not safe for gas range stove top cooking, or else it is not dishwasher safe, and I am giving up on it. I do think, however, that Calphalon should stop representing it as gas cooking and dishwasher safe. When I get around to it, I intend to post a review on Amazon to warn off other buyers who want to use this product on a gas range and wash it in a dishwasher.”So, this is what I am doing.
