this is an awesome starter instrument. There w as a color change before shipment due to damage to the pink one. Very happy with the purple one and so was my 9 year old granddaughter. Delivery was on time and was more than expected at a great price.Dealer was very quick to reply to issue.thanks you

This little keyboard has great sound and perfect for my 7 yr old grandaughter. It is loud but can be turned down a bit. I enjoy the sound. I like that it can plug in to outlet or use batteries to be more mobile. My grandaughter absolutely loves the music stand, she plays and sings with the little beginner book I got her...so much fun!! When I received the little microphone was broke but contacted company and they immediately credited me back $8 and I ordered another microphone off amazon for $9 something that works great!! For the price of this keyboard I am quite surprised at how many negative reviews, other then the microphone it is actually a very nice keyboard in fact I was surprised at the quality of sound and how sturdy it is.If your looking for a professional keyboard this is probably not the one but for the money well worth it!!!

Purchased for my niece last Christmas 2014 who had a keyboard on her list. She was 10. I didn't want to pay for something too pricey because I was unsure if she was even going to use it. So, like the violin she asked for 2 yrs ago and has been playing faithfully ever since, I went ahead and took a chance on this. The bonus was that this came in her favorite color-purple (YUCK!). She was super excited when she opened the package. Shipping was fast & all parts/pieces were intact and working. Well, i forgot all about it after Christmas. While visiting one day about a month ago I heard her playing it in her bedroom. I was super shocked to find that she has taught herself to play it, learned all the keys, writes her own music and practices a few times a week. This was the gift of the year!~ (Now I need to get her a stand for it). This is great for beginners 12 and under I would say. If your child becomes more serious about using it, you can always upgrade to something more substantial in the future.

My niece is 3 years old I bought it for her 3rd birthday and it is her favorite gift. She loves is plays with it every chance she gets. Thank you one happy customer Jackie

This a super buy to teach children how to play the piano. It's small enough for small hands and fingers. I mean both hands fit comfortably and their littles have room to play. To top that the sound of the piano keyboard is in perfect pitch so I am hoping the children can develop to play by ear. Glad I got it!!!

This key board was a great starter, look at the price, great start for a 7 year old.

My 2 year loves it but be warned, there is no volume control for the microphone.

For an inexpensive keyboard it met my expectations. A gift for my 8 year old Granddaughter, she loves it. It came well packaged and intact. It works beautifully with all keys functioning. The sounds are true to life...it is loud but has a volume control button and can be turned down quite low. The microphone is light weight and flimsy, but works well and is still functioning after 2 months of constant use from an 8 & 4 year old. I especially liked the color options...the lilac is pretty, and for a girl, so much better than the dull black! I would recommend this product and would certainly not hesitate to purchase again.

I bought this for my four year old grandchild. The microphone broke immediately. What can you expect from a four-year old's exuberance. One of the keys stuck. I had read all this in other reviews and decided to get it anyway, as there didn't seem to be anything better. The color purple was a big hit. It is very noisy. If you remember it's a toy, you'll be fine.

When you look at what you paid for this keyboard versus what you can pay for very similar keyboards the value on this one far outweighs buying elsewhere. Before I go any further I do want to point out one major flaw. Volume control. While it comes with volume control the range of sound from whisper to blasting you out of the house is VERY narrow. That's a nice way of saying, unless you put the headphones in or you seal your kids door, you are going to hear them banging away on the keys whenever they are playing it.Next, THEY WON'T USE HEADPHONES, if you are thinking right now the headphones would be fine, forget about it. Your kids or you want everyone to hear your masterpiece no matter how awful it really is. "Listen to this." Should really mean, "Are you ready for bleeding eardrums?"Again, the performance of the keyboard it very good and certainly met my expectations, it's just loud.

So I bought this for a 7 year old girl, who LOVES it. It's big and pink and has all sorts of fun options for her to make music. Cool.Cons? There was no microphone in the box. The keys are hard to press. I have no idea what the words on the sheet music stand say.Would I buy it again? In this situation, where I'm introducing a young girl to music for the first time? Yes. Otherwise, probably not. Double your money and get something a bit more quality.

This item all depends on what you are looking for. This is more or less a toy for children. If you have a child interested in learning piano and they are young, I would say 5 and under, this is not a bad product. For anyone older or trying to seriously learn the piano, I would not recommend this. I received this and one of the speakers was loose, you could hear it bouncing around inside the keyboard. It was still connected and worked fine, but, I like things that I am paying for to be fully in tact. If you are a parent and looking at this for your child, beware, IT IS LOUD! There is a volume control, but even turned down, it's pretty loud. I bought this for a gift for someone, so I did not use it long term. I just plugged it in and played it to make sure it works. Again, if you are looking for a toy piano for a young child, this will do the trick. Anything other than that, I would recommend another product.

I was looking for a keyboard to learn how to play the piano with- I wasn't looking for anything overly fancy or complicated, just something simple to start learning on. I guess this fits that bill, but there are things that have made me sit this keyboard in my kid's toy box- First, the volume. There's a loud setting and an even louder setting. I swear, even on the lowest volume, I'm sure the neighbors can hear us! Secondly is the sound, itself. It doesn't really sound like a piano. Hard to describe, but it's not very pleasing, even when someone is playing something recognizable. On the upside, my 5 year old LOVES it! She bangs away, screams into the microphone, and thinks she's a Barbie Rockstar with this thing. That's great, but considering I've since found this long, musical paperweight for much cheaper elsewhere, I would have definitely reconsidered my purchase from here. At the end of the day, it wasn't horribly expensive and she's giving it some use, so it's not a total waste. There are some things where you get what you pay for- alcohol is one, this is another. If you're an adult and need a keyboard, splurge for something better!

I think it worth the price. I would recommend couple of improvements.1) When turned on, the volume is at its peak. It should start low and user can increase the volume as needed.2) Volume up and down buttons should be reversed. Currently the volume up button is on the left and down button on the right.Otherwise this is a good keyboard for the price.

The volume is so loud that they rarely allow it to be played with. There doesn't appear to be a volume control. Otherwise it's good quality.

Its only got a couple of volume settings... loud and louder. We are using it for my children to practice on but I can only take so much noise. Maybe if it had a headphone jack and a way to turn the volume down.

nothing special for that money. the microphone was broken....the other order came broken too..it is some amulet I ordered, don't know what to do if you give me a phone number where I can call, and see what can be done about the other broken amulet -.actually it was not fixed properly so it is impossible to wear it.Yours, Rada

Not sure if this a manufacturing error or if it just wasn't packaged properly, but this keyboard (which was a birthday gift for my 4 yr old niece) was completely non functional when she opened it. There appeared to be a piece missing where the cord would plug into the keyboard. When my handy boyfriend took the keyboard apart, he found the missing piece had just fallen inside the unit. The next thing he found was the speakers were not even connected to anything. He was able to fix all the issues with some time and a little hot glue, and my niece was eventually able to enjoy her gift. However, I would NOT recommend this keyboard to anyone! Too many issues. It was obviously cheaply made. Spend the extra $25 to get a quality keyboard!

Microphone arrived broken into several pieces, I need a replacement

Volume control isn't great. Microphone and book holder already broke. Cheaply made.

I ordered this item for my granddaughter...it arrived today. It was just what I think she would have liked but unfortunately it arrived damaged. There were no holes, perforations or apparent damage to outside packaging but upon opening it, I found a big crack in the plastic back and the music holder was also broken. Evidently there was not enough foam or wrap inside the box to protect it. It has been returned and I am a very disappointed customer. It was not showing able to be replaced when I placed the return shipment.

Power adapter doesn't stay plugged in, microphone never worked at all. Junk. Keyboard is loud no matter what setting the volume is on.

I found this keyboard to be overpriced for the quality. The music holder broke right away out of the box. The cover for the batterys broke in 2 days. The charger was not that great, it had to be positioned a certain way for the keyboard to get power supply, like it was shorting out. The preset music is nice for the kids but the volume is very loud even when decreased to a low setting. I would not give this for a gift, and would spend a little more for a product that would last.

First of all this product is no way in hell worth 39.99$, maybe on a good day I would buy this keyboard for 8.00$-10.00$. Everything about this product screams cheap piece of junk. The keyboard came broken, broken on the back or bottom and the microphone (if you would even call that hunk of plastic a microphone). Unfortunately I'm in a place that wont allow me to return the product. Directly cheap should change their name to cheap pieces of $hit. A few keys to stick or take more that one or two hits, and not a nice soft piano type touch a really heavy touch unnatural to the piano would. The automatic sounds or beats some either dont play or play a different tune then what is said to play. I don't know where the postive reviews are coming from but If you buy this product you will be disappointed and feel like a sucker for paying 39.99 for it. DONT BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The power jack had a loose connection. we could never get it powered-up to play. I tested the keyboard before showing the kids, which I'm very glad I did, because otherwise it would've broken their hearts. very dissapointing quality.

This almost killed my family! I smelled burning plastic in my son's room and finally realized it was the keyboard! There was a short in it! It was just smoldering next to my sleeping son

This keyboard was probably plated only 4-6 times for about 10 minutes each. The last time it was plugged in, it just didn't work at all. I had to order a different kind. And now I'm told it's too late for a return. Poor rating overall.

I bought this for my 8 year old son as a Christmas gift. I did a quick once over to make sure everything was aesthetically pleasing then put it up to be wrapped later. I got it out yesterday to test before wrapping and what do you know? It didn't work!!1) Nowhere on the keyboard, instructions, box or battery panel does it say/ show which way the batteries should face.2) The microphone is so cheaply made its better of not even being included.3) The power cord is so short you would have to basically sit on the wall. After trying 2 different sets of D batteries and using the power cord in 2 different outlets I realized that the problem wasn't me it was piece of crap keyboard. It didn't make a sound, not even a little ding! I am beyond mad!! Here I am 9 days away from Christmas and I have to not only wait for this to be shipped back but I won't get my refund until AFER Christmas. This was going to be my son's "Santa" gift since he has an idea on his other gifts.I'm not made of money, I have 3 children with a budget of $300 per child....I'm maxed out on Christmas money. But now I have to pull out another $40 to get a "Santa" gift before Christmas and who knows when I'll actually be refunded for this piece of crap!!!
