How does it have been useful this bottle jack for one of my pickup and now i need to order my second peace it a must have is you own a pick up and besides that it @ amzing low price

Purchased when I discovered the screw jack in my Jeep was worthless after a blowout in the desert. A wonderful improvement over the OEM product that came with my Jeep. Definitely would purchase again from this seller.

Worked as it should, used to pop out lower control arm bushings on my toyota tacoma. This jack will probably work as it should, negative reviews here may be from people that either don't know what they're doing or didn't go through the instructions to get air out of the jack.

I am using this jack to push out my rear car fenders. I had 1/2 inch pipe flanges welded to the top and bottom of the jack. Then I could put in different lengths of 1/2 metal pipe to push on the fenders. Someone told me that the 4 ton jack was an over kill. It is not the metal on my 99 Camray is strong, The jack is working great.

This is a Torin jack. This is the best jack you can buy. I will address leak down pressure. (1) Tighten air valve good and tight. (2) Fill pump with Leaks Bar Jack oil. Even though pump is new oil was low on mine. Jack pumps to full height with no trouble. I very much recommend this jack for anyone who needs a 4 Ton high quality jack.

I used this to jack up my Honda that was sitting in dirt with a completely flat front tire. It made other jacks inoperable because of the clearance. I even had to return one that I had purchased at ACE locally because I couldnt fit it under the frame. Its not alot of fun, but it was a bargain and does the job. No complaints here.

this is several times nicer to use then what comes with most cars. handle is easier to use and the foot is riveted on instead of just tack welded. This is the jack you throw in the tool box and don't cry over if it grows legs, it gets the job done, and its cheap.

Due to health we needed to lift the head of a queen bed. We placed one scissor jack on each side of the metal frame of box springs at the head where there was good support, then jacked each up to the same height.

Arrived much faster than expected. It was a little stiff the first time or two I tried it, but a few days after I bought it I had to replace the water pump on my engine, and this thing cranked my toyota yaris up and down like a champ. The base is larger than usual, which gives it more stability, but it still fits in the jack compartment of my car. Easy to use. The only note I'll make is that the saddle on top gets scratched a bit lifting the car up and down, but for the price it is a great machine.

Much smoother than the factory triangular jack that came in my car. This jack breaks down just as small as the one that came in the car yet it is much stronger. Jack is very stable when using. Overall great price for the product.

Recently bought a car that didn't come with a jack, so I bought this one in case of emergencies. Within a month I had to pull this jack out because of a flat tire and it worked well.

This is a great little jack. For it's size, it's quite usable. I like this jack due to it's weight capability, compact size, price. Overall a good value. I would recommend.

used to lift an old deck and it worked perfectly

It works, it's solid. If you have an SUV you need a block/brick to put underneath the jack, or it won't be long enough to lift your car.

Used it to rotate my tires on my 2008 Saturn Vue. Works a lot faster than your car's scissor jack, I actually will probably keep this one in the car instead. The only issue I had with it was I needed to use a piece of 2x4 to be able to get enough height to get the tires off. The top part unscrews giving you an extra 4 inches or so, but still wasn't enough, so I cut a small piece of a 2x4 and will leave it in the car for emergencies.

I bought two of these jacks, and they actually performed quite well. With a price like this you know it's made in China, and I was a little skeptical if it would hold up under load. It worked flawlessly and was impressed. I only gave it 4 stars because the manufacturer really cut corners when it came to painting the jack. Simply turning the adjustment valve on the bottom of the jack caused the paint to flake off, but really that's a minor problem if the jack functions correctly. If you're looking for an inexpensive jack that does what it's supposed to do, look no further.

Used this bottle jack to lift a section of concrete sidewalk (probably 500-600 pounds). It lifted with ease and was easy to use. As others have noted, you must apply weight even when the release valve is opened to get it to fully close. When I turned my valve a full 1 - 1.5 turns, the piston returns to the starting position with only a few pounds of pressure (not my full body weight like some review says).

Not got to use yet, but I am satisfied with the product.

For so little money this is quite a decent jack. The only reservations are that the handle joint is rather stiff and takes more effort to unfold than operating the jack, and the angles could be better for ergonomics. We use it not only to raise our car but for house repair projects as well. Very handy to raise a cast iron laundry sink into place and for installing a large garbage disposal under the kitchen sink.

The piece of junk scissor jack that came with my car failed when my car rolled while trying to change a flat. The old jack was bent over and twisted up. This jack is far more robust and not much bigger. It does have the larger footprint that others have reported (as opposed to the picture). This looks to make it more stable. For the price, this is a fine replacement for my busted jack.

Pretty descent quality.Only complaint is the handle crank is too short to allow it to unfold fully away from the bottom of the trailer. To unfold it to crank, you are still under the trailer and there is not enough room to crank.I did apply grease to the threads of the rod and ran the jack up and down. I wanted to make sure the threads don't corrode when the jack is in place for a while.

Very serious jack, but not as pictured. The bottom plate is 15 inches long and 4 7/8 inches wide. Probably far too big to fit in the "jack area" in anyone's car trunk. Folded up it is 17 1/2 inches long by 4 7/8 inches wide by 3 3/4 inches high. The small "platform" on the top is 2 3/4 inches long by 1 3/4 inches wide.

Had this in my truck for a while, seems to work OK, but the oil seems to leak out.

It's too tall for some cars. Definitely does not fit underneath F30.

I got this to jack up my Mazda CX-7 but unfortunately it doesn't extend high enough to lift it at all. I should have looked closer at description so it is my fault. Other than that it seems compact and well built. I'll use it on my eclipse (if it isn't too tall to fit under it) and update review accordingly.

Bought this to change the tires on my 03 Tahoe. Didn't have the height to lift it so I just put some wood under it. It worked great up until it was extended pretty far, then it slowly falls down. It obviously just has a really s***ty valve on it. Pretty dangerous to work under it so if you do end up buying this make sure you get jack stands.

It fits under my 2006 Chrysler Pacifica but does not jack up enough to get the tire off. I was stranded for 2 hours while my wife drove out to me with a viable jack. Maybe good for some purposes, but useless to me.

Needed this for my 2000 Ford F-150 as the factory jack failed. It works. I was able to lift my truck to change a tire and for the price and can't complain. I should have spent more$ for a jack with a greater lift height.

It's a pretty good jack for 18.00 - can't expect too much for $18.00, sotop your whining and just use it!

Handle is awful, buy the drill attachment

About what I expected. Kind of heavy for its size to use as a temporary jack.

Fell down once - not all that stable for heavy use, but if you use jack stands, it will probably still last you quite a few uses. Stay on level ground.

This is a simple, sturdy jack. the problem is the metal hand crank. They really should have put a sleeve of some sort around the base. You turn it with one hand, and then hold the base with the other. Since there is no sleeve, the friction between your hand and the metal makes it difficult to turn. This small feature would have made the product better.

For what I bought it for it was fine. but for lifting anything more than a very light car I doubt it. Forget a full sized truck or a big car. Light stuff is fine and it works well for that. Not a regular use quality however.

First one I got didn't work at all, replacement one did but I was ultimately charged for both which was pretty annoying.The jack itself is ok. Pretty cheaply made and flimsy but decent enough for the price. In hindsight you can get one at local big box stores for less, though.

I agree with a few other reviewers about the jack part not wanting to go down. I didn't think I would have to open the hydraulic reservoir to release air in the fluid after a few uses but when you're steadily pumping the handle and the jack isn't lifting anymore, you have to. Also I just thought it would be a little bigger, but that's my fault. I didn't read the product dimensions before hand. I don't have huge hands either. All my work gloves are in a size Large.

Only goes to 12", far short of stayed height. Otherwise, works well for the price.

Has to be manually forced down when you loosen it, so it doesn't work very well at all in tight spaces or when it doesn't need to go all the way up.

Bought this awhile ago, used for first time today and it does't hold, leaks down quite fast......

I've used it 5 or 6 times and it's already leaking. I will be calling Torin or someone to see if I can get a replacement, and if I can I will edit my review accordingly. 9/7/14

The jack itself looks very sturdy and reliable but the folding handle is junk. It's a two piece handle joined at the hinge by a large rivet. When I attempted to open the handle or extend it, it was very tight and the rivet ended up snapping and making it useless. I did return it for a refund so no problems with customer service and will look for something else. Only reason I gave it a second star was because the jack itself appeared to be sturdy and useful for what I was needing.

Not that impressed with the short handle. I found it hard to work once under pressure.

It is okay. I used it 3-4 times. Its base is bent. I see a crack as well on one end. My car weighs 1.5 ton.

I want to have a compact, strong and easy to use jack available in our garage for 5-6 times a year for various tasks for our three vehicles. I've no inclination to do any major mechical work with the cars but when I need to get one up, usually for tire changing, I want a dependable lightweight jack available to go in place quickly and know how it's going to work. With those considerations in mind, I bought the Torin T10152 scissor jack (1.5 Ton) last spring.The Torin was put to it's first real test this past weekend when the starter died on the vehicle we are replacing. I'd not had a chance to switch the basically new tires on the old vehicle to the better rims of it's replacement, and switch the worn tires to the rims on vehicle to be sold. So the task requires two jackings for each wheel on the vehicle to be sold.The Torin didn't fare well. Given that the car won't move, this task needs to be done in our driveway, with a slight but notable slant a bit of a drop off left-right. The Torin did fine on the more even side of the vehicle but when I started jacking on the other side, the Torin began to tip because the ground was softer than expected. (My mistake for not checking the surface more carefully and putting down a board.) The ground surface is not the Torin's problem of course but when I got another jack under it, the Torin's base had bent significantly. A sledge hammer put it back in place to make it functional but I bent the other end of the base when I ran into more soft ground on another tire. (This time with a board under it.)I Had to the work with the car as it lays, so this task did put some exceptional pressure on the Torin and it didn't do well. Aside from the base bending, at one point I had to try and crank it at an odd angle and ended up unable to get it as high as needed it to be because I couldn't move the handle at the angle. The crank design doesn't provide for much power. (The stock one in our Honda van has better general crank design.)Generally, this jack seems OK for straight-forward lifting on a reasonably flat surface. The price is good and for most simple situations it should be fine. For myself, I'll only use it now in limited situations and will probably recycle it in the future when I find a better replacement.

lacks a notch in the middle so it causes the metal on the car bottom to bend.

the jack is coming apart, the spot weld broke and i had to weld it to keep it from moving on me

Used it 3 times to jack up my Tacoma. Third time the mechanism inside broke. Doesn't look like there's a return policy. I guess you get what you pay for.

box was soaked with fluid that had leaked out of jack, not impressed

Jack did not work upon receiving. Tried included instructions for troubling shooting - No luck. Amazon credit simple and quick.

I wish I could zero star it. Arrived, opened the box, the hydraulic fluid leaked everywhere. I wasn't going to waste my time figuring out why when it should have arrived in working condition. Immediately returned.

Used this for the first time after having it for over a year. Seems very unstable, and would not jack up my car. The handle bent instead of raising the vehicle. I will be replacing it with a different product.

poor quality control. teeth on bottom never lined up and bent when trying to cycle the jack. otherwise would have probably been a decent jack. wasted money and too cheap to worry about returning.

Trying to operate this jack is as frustrating as trying to push a rope up a hill.There is no offset in the handle to get the tremendous torque required to turn the screw. It's simply a straight rod with a short 90 degree bend at the end. That short bend is what you have to grab in order to operate this jack. Unless your wrist rotates 360 degrees, you can get 1/2 of a turn before you have to release your grip and reposition.While repositioning your hands to try to get enough leverage, the hook on the end of the handle keeps popping out of the hole in the jack screw. The instructions should say, "Insert hook, rotate 1/2 turn, reposition hand, rotate 1/2 turn, cuss, reinsert hook, repeat as necessary.I tried raising the tounge on my little pop-up and gave up. The jack is laying under some bushes until I decide to throw it away or try to find a different handle.
