Supernatural television
September 6, 2016
Very clear image. The built-in audio is average, the speakers are loud enough, but lack bass flavors, which is expected for its type. I take the built-in speakers as just a bonus and would discard the speakers if they were detachable, just like I do whenever I buy a camera or musical midi keyboard controller which comes with useless "bonus software" that I then have to discard and get genuine software like Photoshop and Logic Studio. Anyways, back to the TV. I bought a powerful soundbar with a subwoofer to replace the built-in speakers, and this TV has become a mini-theater for my large living room. It now has a cinematic audiovisual feel.Mind you, this TV is not for a tiny apartment. It is large. It's for a large room. Putting it in that tiny apartment box you call your room will ensure you won't have enough space away from the TV, and your tiny room would in fact become all about the TV. You will then be obliged to name the room "the TV room" and not anything like a a bedroom or a living room, since every move you make would warrant trying to avoid coming in contact with a huge TV screen. The TV is in my large living room. So get a big house before you buy a fancy car or TV.Overall, it's an awesome TV, though I wouldn't recommend it to everyone because then it would be less cool when everyone has it.
This tv picture is too good to be believed
May 13, 2016
Wow! This tv picture is too good to be believed! The color thing it tauts is worth EVERY penny! I purchased the low end of the series because I didn't think I need true motion or whatever that's supposed to be ( don't think I would've noticed if I didn't read about it ). The other reviews about the dim lighting is interesting, because my tv was doing the same when it showed up but as I moved through the settings I finally landed on Standard and it was very bright - could be a firmware update was required or something. Anyways, I am AMAZED at how beautiful the picture is. If you get this tv, be sure to update it so you don't run into the dim lighting problem ( this tv is still very new, so maybe some compatibility issues with cable boxes, etc ). I honestly don't think I'll ever get tired of looking at it. It's almost creepy, people really look like they're in the room with you, some kind of 3D type effect not using 3D glasses. VERY cool!
Really enjoy this TV
February 8, 2016
Really enjoy this TV. It is brighter and quality a very slight step down from our Panasonic G25 infinity black plasma, but this was intentional for our living room that gets a good amount of outside light. We wall mounted it and love it both day and night. Very high quality TV, and at a great price.
its big and once you adjust all the video settings{search Google for them} it looks really good. Netflix
September 13, 2015
5 stars for the price, looks sharp on the wall.Pros, its big and once you adjust all the video settings{search Google for them} it looks really good.Netflix, Youtube, and Amazon apps work just as good as my PS3 versions.Cons, 120 truemotion makes everything weird looking {soap opera effect} But that can be turned off.No backlight on remote, and the connectors in the back are in a spot that can be covered by a extending wall mount, so it can be hard to access.all av/component connectors get covered with this mount http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001LL5JDA?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_11, it also makes getting at 2 out the 3 HDMI connectors tricky to get to, but still doable, coaxial port still accessible, so are the USB ports. when I get my phone working again Ill snap a picture. But none of the cons are deal breakers, if you want a big TV without paying for a big tv price, this is your winner.I spent 2 weeks researching, my second choice was the Samsung 60" http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00U9U9AAM/ref=psdc_6459737011_t2_B00ID2HGQ8, which seems to have better specs, but Samsung plays games when it comes to warranty work, LG stands more with customers, or so I gathered.
Detailed Review
May 5, 2015
First off this is a 120hz tv in all 3 sizes. Because it is a backlit tv the blacks are actually black not a dark gray. I purchased the popular cheetah mount on amazon I read that it covers up some ports on the back I did not have this problem all ports have plenty of room away from this mount and it fits very well. It came with a basic lg remote but it gets the job done you can always get another remote but i am satified with it. Like most led tvs it performs great in rooms with a lot of light, the screen actually has a dull coat on it (unlike my new Samsung which has a glossy coat) I do notice this helps a bit with glare when the tv is off but when they are on don't see much of a glare in either. The factory picture setting are much better then expected I adjusted mine to my liking but factory settings especially dynamic look great. I have not noticed any lag in Netflix or YouTube just make sure you have a strong signal or hardwire your tv. Smart functions are basic but work well. The picture quality all around is very impressive(I do not have it next to my Samsung which I paid double the price for but going from room to room it is very comparable). I've read some people are disappointed with the sound but they are 20w speakers which sound good for a slim tv. I have watched sports and played video games on it and have not experienced any lag or ghosting (in sport mode). All around a great tv for the price very happy with this purchase and I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as I have.FYI Parham who has posted pictures of an lg tv on here is reviewing the wrong tv because this is a smart tv and his picture is of a different lg tv
5/5 for a quality LG product at a reasonable price point
April 15, 2015
Ordered this set using Amazon Prime and received the item on time and in perfect condition. Let me start by saying that this set is an amazing value at this price point for the quality of product LG has created. I've only had the set for about 24 hours, but I'm having a great time using it so far.I will update this review as I have more time with the TV. A few Pros/Cons I've noticed so far:Pros - Great picture once you customize the settings a bit - Easy step by step setup at initial power on - Network integration is great if you're hosting video/audio files on the home network - 3 HDMI ports is rare at this price pointCons - the IR receiver is average at best - The remote it comes with does not have any "Smart Remote" capabilities - Does not have a swivel stand

Good Value
March 6, 2016
The LG50LF6100 has a lot going for it. The picture is very good. Sound better than I've seen from a TV speaker. It's not 4K, but it's 1080p and about as good as required for most broadcast. The good:Mine came from Adorama, and was packaged quite nicely...which was a concern when buying a TVPicture is clear and there are quite a number of adjustments. I spent a bit of time adjusting it to my taste, so I can see someone not liking the picture at first. I suspect some might not be as patient. I also find that I readjust when watching a DVD. I have noticed the "Soap Opera Effect", but that's easy enough to stop and I haven't seen many TVs that have a pure 120 Hz refresh rate, so they probably all exhibit that in some modes. So depending on your preferences you are likely to be able to adjust it to suit them.I'd have to rate the sound pretty good for a TV speaker. It too has many adjustments and you'll have to find the settings that suit your ear. Here again, I believe that I've tweaked it while watching a DVD. Is the sound as good as my receiver?...No. However, coming from an un-aided TV, it's the best I've had. Again, I can't imagine that you wouldn't be able to adjust it to your liking. Plus you always have the option of using the digital output for a soundbar or receiver. This is the first TV that I've had where the "smart sound" feature actually seems to work to some noticeable extent.Sorry boys and girls, this TV has no RCA (analog) audio outputs. So, right out of the box, sound and video might not be to your liking, but I'm sure you can adjust it.When I saw the brackets that hold the TV for sitting on an entertainment center or stand, I thought they would not work very well. They were much better than they looked and seem to provide a quite stable base. The bad: The instructions are quite meager. Not much explanation of anything. The smart TV feature is not so smart. Others have said it also. Mostly you have easy access to premium sites, and no easy access to those that are not. I think the main benefit is not for the user but for targeted advertisement and reporting back to the mother-ship. Do a search and judge for yourself. The one feature that I use is "what's on"."Channel info" doesn't seem to retain any information about any other channel, regardless of whether you've visited that channel or not. That's quite disappointing and I sent a support email to LG and got a very disappointing response. The 8 year old TV that it replaced was able to retain info about a channel ...at least once you had visited it.I don't care for the layout of the remote, but that's on me. It's not bad, it just feels a bit clumsy at times.I'm attaching some pictures ...that I did not have when prior to buying.I still think it's a good value for a 1080p name brand TV. I've seen 4K TVs dropping but not quite to this level yet.I hope this helps...if so, please provide feedback by clicking below.
Very good picture quality and features
January 19, 2016
Very good picture quality and features. Does not work well with the Invision TV Wall Mount Bracket and Swivel (20 inch) system as the RCA input for the component plugs get blocked by the mounting plate that attaches to the back of the set. LG should have put these input plugs on the side of the set (instead of the back) like the HDMI and USB input plugs are. I had to add a spacing bar (square tubing) to the system in order to build out enough space for these plugs (spacers provided in the mounting system were not enough). Maybe LG can redesign future sets to better accommodate all input types and wall mouunts?
Great TV with a few quirks......
January 4, 2016
So far, I like this tv. There are a few quirks - remote not very user friendly, inputs are hard to access if you have it mounted(I had to drill a hole in mount to access some inputs). I noticed a few complaints that it is not bright enough. You need to turn off Auto Power Save! All TV's come with Auto Power Save as the default setting. A great buy for the price.

November 15, 2015
This TV is really nice. Picture, sound, and design are all great. It would have gotten five stars (especially for the price), but the previous reviews about the remote receiver not being very accurate was spot on. I have this TV mounted on my bedroom wall and sometimes it takes some aiming to get the TV to respond when buttons are pushed. It is not a total negative and doesn't detract very much from an overall great TV.
Great buy with two minor flaws
July 10, 2015
The LG - 50LF6100 is great TV for entertainment. I really enjoy having three HDMI ports to my Fire Stick, Xbox and PC hookup. The smart TV function works really well but the LG search function is not the best. The UI is really simple but it's slow due to the fact the remote is basic(No keyboard). Another Key benefit is the ethernet port for added speed. If I could change two things it would be the remote and auto brightness control.

it offers excellent color hue and sharpness
December 28, 2015
For the price of under $600 I got this name-brand product mainly features its TV output screen clarity (Full HD) and its size (55 inches) it is verywell worth of the price. However, one thing spots its imperfection ~ pressing "Display" function on the remote control only gives the currentchannel number and the "show name or TV program name", but it gives no information on the program description or showtime description and no information on the program start-time and end-time whatsoever, this is unlike and negatively comparable to LG TV internal functionality about this aspect. Also, there is no Quick adjustment( convenient short-cut) on the brightness and contrast controls per Other than these, it offers excellent color hue and sharpness. Playing Netflix on its original functionality in smart-internet-connect TV setting is very great.....it optimizes the great HD color and other favorable controls such as "rewind, pause, and others/etc. in regard to Netflix movie watching.

Great TV for the price. Using it in our conference room as display for computers, etc. and works really well for that. For home use It is definitely lacking in HDMI inputs and you would definitely need to combine with a good receiver to plug all your devices in. May not be much of an issue since seems most of us now have a Surround Sound system including the receiver.
Very pleased with my purchase.
November 3, 2015
I have been very pleased with the quality of my Sharp LC-55LE653U, 55-Inch 1080p, television. It doesn't have many of the features of higher-priced LEDs; however, the picture quality is very sound and I have been exceedingly pleased with watching movies and sports with it. The picture is very clear and the sound quality is rather good. I prefer being able to manipulate the motion settings for watching different broadcasts (as I am able to do with my Panasonic and Vizio TVs), and I haven't been able to figure out how to do this with this TV. Regardless, I am very pleased with the TV, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-performing, reasonably-priced HDTV.

The smart television works well and connects to the internet fine. We keep having sound issues, the problem we keep having is the volume continously changes without us moving the sound up or down amd the number stays the same.
so that was nice. We set our TV up
May 13, 2016
We purchased this TV during the Black Friday (Or Cyber Monday - can't remember) sale. It arrived via FedEX packaged very well! They had Styrofoam all over the outside to protect the TV, so that was nice.We set our TV up. It looked gorgeous in our bedroom and for the price we paid, was worth it as a bedroom TV. No complaints so far. Within a few days I notice a vertical band about 2 inches thick on the the right side. I could see it but others could not until it was pointed out. Then it became painfully obvious. We didn't want to deal with returning it since it would be a pain to package it up and take it back to UPS and it wasn't a huge issue...... Until it was. Another week or two goes by and suddenly there is a HUGE spot on the TV that is much lighter than the rest of the TV. It's noticeable to everyone. It's noticeable on everything.Thankfully Amazon Customer service is superb! We were able to exchange the TV for a new one. They sent us the new one and we returned the old one. After we set the new TV up we didn't notice any issues (at the time) so we were content.A few days later we realize the TV is dropping the WiFi for the Smart TV features, all. the. time. We tested to see if it was our WiFi (Since we use LAN lines for our desktops and only have the consoles, tablets, tv's and phones on WiFi) Our PS4 worked just fine for Amazon and Netflix on the TV but the TV smart feature just doesn't keep the WiFi signal long. We still have this problem now and we've had the second TV for a few months now.All in all, the price was decent and worth the hassle. Thankfully we have consoles or even the Amazon Fire Stick to use if we want to watch Netlfix/Amazon on our TV in our bedroom.
No so happy.
April 25, 2016
The TV picture is great. The TV quality is fantastic. The smart TV functions, however, suck, quite frankly. I can't get it to access my wireless access point. When I connect it through an Ethernet and go onto the Internet the browser isn't displaying the page I want properly. (Go Noodle - I'm teacher.) The interface is not terribly intuitive. When I went on their customer support chat I was fobbed off by a tech who said, "Contact the Institutional Department" but this is not an institutional issue. I'm just one teacher, not my IT department. I've wasted hours on this so far.
ARC Not Supported Despite Claims to the Contrary
February 23, 2016
Posting this review because there seems to be some false claims by LG about this TV. Specs say HDMI Audio Return Channel (ARC) is supported on this set and documentation says that too. However, I haven't been able to get it to work. I was unable to use an HDMI cable (a correct, high speed ARC supporting HDMI cable) to even drive LG's own sound bar (model LAS551H). After two go's with LG support on the problem they finally admitted as much as told me to use a digital optical cable instead.
Mixed
January 28, 2016
Nice size for the price, but if I realized the corners would be so dark, I might have gone with a differen TV. Furthermore, although it came with the Google Movies app, that app doesn't work. lastly, when you switch to internet there is always an annoying TV picture obscuring the lower right of the web page. It can be removed, but only temporarily. The next time you turn the TV off and turn it on again and switch to internet, that annoying picture in picture will be there again blocking view of the lower right of whatever web page you are on. Ther seems no way of permanently getting rid of this picture in picture on the internet web pages.lastly, the remote ie Really really reallty really awful. Did I tell you how awful it is? Typing stuff to set up accounts etc is abysmally slow, painfully slow, incredibly slow. It's I can't bear it slow! It's so slow I went out and bought a remote wreless keyboard with mouse. That works welk for internet but often does not work in lieu of some of the application onscreen keyboards. so for them you are still stuck with the abysmally slow remote.
Decent TV for the money
August 15, 2015
This TV replaced a Toshiba DLP TV that I decided I wan't going to buy anymore lamps for. I think the DLP had a better picture than this one. The sound leaves something to be desired. Once you get to about 25 or 30 on the volume there is no amplification left, no increase in sound above that. I am not sure if it is the Tru-motion or this being an LED TV but the picture on a lot of programs the motion or movement of people doesn't seem real. Normally I would have went to electronic stores and viewed different brands and to see in person but since my lamp went out of the other TV I decided to do it on reviews and internet search. I think that was a mistake. I should have done some research in person. It looks as though I might have to pick up a sound bar or hook it up to the home stereo to get better sound. I think I would recommend the LG brand but can't say as I would recommend this TV to a friend or relative. All I can say is compare in person and not what someone writes in a review.

Not in Love with this TV...
September 10, 2015
The smart TV features were not what I expected. Only Netflix and Pandora were manageable. Amazon Prime was not one of the featured channels either. Very disappointing. We purchased this TV in anticipation of removing ourselves from cable TV. We had to end up purchasing a ROKU 3 streaming device to receive our desired channels.
Good picture, not as "smart" as I would have liked.
August 27, 2015
Standard TV. I thought it would be smarter and I would be able to use my internet browser, but only Netflix is available. Probably a result of my not reading enough about the product.
Good but not perfect.
July 13, 2015
Everything is good except for the sound, the speakers are facing the wall it's mounted on so the sound volume is poor. The help tech said to buy external speakers to get better sound. Not what I expected from a top rated manufacturer.
Good clear picture, poor service from Sharp resolving a defective initial delivery.
June 13, 2015
Initial set defective. Rather than return to Amazon, I contacted Sharp. Big mistake! They made me jump through hoops and were slow responding. Bottom line, it took 30 days to get a replacement, unacceptable! I should have gone back thru Amazon. Good picture, sound requires a lot of volume in order to be audible.

Stick pixel and bad Netflix app
May 11, 2017
The TV developed a stuck pixel just over a year after purchase - right in the middle of the screen. There is no way to fix it.Also, the Netflix app on this TV is very dim - everything is dim: the app itself and all programs watched through the app. This cannot be corrected through the TV settings. So if you watch a lot of Netflix you're going to be disappointed with a very dim TV
Here's what they don't tell you.
April 10, 2016
I have used this TV for about a month now and the quality of the picture is decent, ease of use is also decent. Here's why I gave it the review I did and it revolves around the seller more than the product. What they don't tell you is that when they ship the TV if you open the door for the shipping company and sign the paperwork for them to leave then open the box and see a defect with the screen...you're out of luck. It does not say this on the paperwork or anywhere else until you look at the box and there's a sticker on it. The sticker basically says that you have to bring the box inside, open it, put the feet on the TV, set the TV up and plug it in to see if the screen works. If you do this and there are defects you can reject the package and you'll be OK. However, if you do not do this and sign the paperwork then you own a broken TV.Who does that? Who tells the guy driving the truck to wait 30 minutes to set the TV up to test it? No one and that is what they are hoping for.
terrible blacks, motion blur
January 24, 2016
l'll try to keep this short, since there are so many long reviews already. I will skip the "smart" features and speakers, since I don't use either.First, the blacks on this TV are terrible. I've tried every setting possible, went through several calibration exercises, and no matter what I do the "blacks" and shadows are just murky grays.Second, the motion blur on this set is awful. LG can claim "120hz" all they want, but is a native 60hz panel with some technical trickery to get to 120hz of interpolated refresh rate, and it shows.Third, the input lag should rule out this TV for serious gamers. This isn't a big deal for me, but any hardcore FPS fans need to look elsewhere. Even the "PC" input and "Game" modes can't make up for it.Fourth, the LED configuration makes any large sections of uniform color look like a muddled mess. You can clearly see the backlighting arrangement in large sections of white, gray, or even in the field watching a soccer match.A minor gripe about the body of the TV... the remote sensor is dead center on the bottom of the TV, which is where many of us place our center channel speaker. If you'e used to this arrangement, be prepared to practice your remote aiming. One thing this TV does well is color accuracy. It will take some tweaking in the "advanced" settings, but you can get good color in most situations. But even then, my 10 year-old Panasonic plasma still does better. This TV is merely ok. I really don't understand all the 5-star reviews. These people must be either replacing some really poor TV's or aren't familiar with what a good picture should look like. The only redeeming quality is the price. However... unless you absolutely must have a new TV right now, I would strongly recommend waiting a little longer for the prices of OLED TV's to drop some more. To get really good picture quality from an LED, you will need to spend a lot more money than this, and at that point you will have spent a bunch of money on technology that will quickly be horribly outdated.
Really disappointed and going to return this dud
January 3, 2016
This new LG set has a very dark image. I changed the settings to a brightness setting of 100 and it's STILL dark, especially when I compare it to my new LG 32" set in the bedroom next door.Really disappointed and going to return this dud.
Horizontal lines on the entire screen.
November 14, 2015
When I was setting up TV thru the menu, I noticed that there were horizontal lines evenly spaced on the entire screen. First I thought it was part of the menu design and I didn't pay any attention to it. However, I started watching Netflix and it was really noticeable especially on darker colors like grays. It is really annoying to see that on a brand new smart TV. These horizontal lines are also consistent when I use my cable box and ps3. I tried uploading photos of it but for some reason it's not working. On my laptop browser (Firefox), I don't even see a button to upload the pics. Not sure why.Amazon is in the process of shipping me a new one. So we'll see how the picture is on that one. If it is the same, then I'll have to go with a different brand. I tried searching other reviewers and the Q&A section, but no one seems to have experienced this problem. I will try and remember to update this review.
Great picture sort of, everything else is blahhhhhh
August 10, 2015
This review is on the LG 60LF6100 60-inch 1080P LEDI have had it about for about a month and half now.I can say it does have a pretty good picture for the most part and that is the only thing keeping me from trying to return it. I had to play with most of the image settings to get a pretty good picture. With the default settings and different modes that come preset on the T.V. the image always appeared very dark almost impossible to see in some scenesBad things about the picture are that there a couple of bad pixels that show when the screen is one solid color (see my attached closeup picture) it says in the manual bad pixels are rare but are normal, also when I am about 10 feet from the T.V. I cannot see it, but any closer and it shows up.When the screen is close to one solid color you can see the image is not even with a large honeycomb pattern appearing in the background, this also shows up in movies or shows when there is a solid color in the image that is getting panned across the screen, it is annoying (again see my attached picture, the picture is strange on my laptop screen in the fact that I cannot see the distortion in the image unless I look from a different angle, but it definitely is there on the TV screen).Since I am a little hard of hearing, I have trouble making out what is being said on most shows so what I really do not like is the fact that closed captioning does not work on the 'smart TV' portion, I had to hook up a ROKU box to the HDMI input to get the captioning display, totally bypassing the 'smart TV' making that portion of the TV useless.Depending on the input source the sound can be very hard to hear even with the volume set to 100%, I have other smart T.V.s in the house and none of them have this issue.

February 22, 2016
As others have noted, this set has a bug. Sometimes the sound just quits. This seems to be when I change input to my roku. Called customer support first time. They were moderately helpful. Eventually advised that I turn it off, disconnect all external inputs, wait a few sec, reconnect and then restart. Takes a few extra sec to start. Then the sound is back. This has happened 3-4 times since. Very annoying. Now when it is working the pic is great and the sound okay. But I would advise NOT buying this model.

The picture quality is nothing compared to my panasonic TV. Worse, it continually turns itself on. Doesn't matter how many times I switch it off, both using the remote and on the TV itself, within 5 mins it switches itself on again!

Tv had no hardware, no remote and no manual and no cables!!
youtube app freezes
November 19, 2016
Youtube always freezes up after about 15 minutes of streaming... It is very annoying, the video stops playing and shows loading, I've left it for 48hours to come back and find it stuck on the same frame it was when I left it. And it's not my internet connection problem.

No Headphone connection!!! Too bad for the millions of people who have hearing problems.
April 25, 2016
I have had this TV since February 6, 2016 and I have had nothing but trouble. After the TV was hung on the wall and hooked up, the person doing it said "there is no connection for your headphones". I saw a youtube video showing how to hook the cable for the headphones to my model, but there is NO connection on my TV. Conversations with support have been a joke. One person told me there was no user guide (finally found it on line), Another told me that the only way wifi could connect to my TV was with a Hdmi cord connected to my TV. I asked her if she actually meant that one end of the cable would be in my PC and the other end in the TV. She said "yes". I asked to speak to someone else and she said "you have to hang up and call back". The next person I talked to was very helpful. Bottom line, in order to hear my TV, I have to buy more equipment...stereo speakers, stereo receiver, and a digital to audio converter. It's a shame LG cares nothing about the millions of people who have hearing problems.

Damaged Unit: Amazon, Reseller & Sharp Invoke "Not Me" Ghost
September 15, 2016
Terrible customer service, from Amazon, to the reseller to Sharp itself. Unit was damaged but only after turning it on was that apparent. No Sharp logo, no picture, even though the unit is powered on. No way to select any input sources from either the remote or the unit itself because nothing appears on the screen. When on, there is a spidery "crack" although screen outwardly has no cracks. You can't tell it when pulled out of the box, but when you turn it on? Yes. Don't know if there are two problems here: a physical defect *and* an electronic one. Even with a busted screen, your phone will still display. Not this unit. And stand will not work: right side of the bracket won't slip into the set, unless you apply force, and I was unwilling to do that. Amazon said, contact the reseller. Reseller said call Amazon. Amazon said, call Sharp. Sharp wanted to send me back to Amazon: no one wanted to take any responsibility for it or wanted to help. Deeply disappointing and quite pathetic.
Dead within a year.

Sharp Customer Service Deplorable...Use Another Company
September 23, 2015
I bought this TV at the PX on Fort Benning and enjoyed the TV for approximately 1 month until one day it didn't turn on.Sharp was quick to send out a repair man who replaced the power boards and then used a Dewalt drill to reassemble the TV. He pressed to hard with the drill and cracked the screen. He told us he would have a new screen sent out in 2-3 days and he would replace it. He told Sharp that it was the customer who cracked the screen. The customer service for this particular TV is in the Philippines. This particular call center was extremely rude and said it was our fault and closed the case. SHARPUSA would not back us up and told us there was nothing they would do.I will never buy a Sharp product ever again and I would recommend that you don't either. They are not supportive of their customers and they do not go to bat for those that have purchased products from them.Very sad company.
It worked...for six days.
September 19, 2015
We bought the TV back in July because we were in the process of buying a house and we needed a TV. It arrived on time, we unboxed it and set it up to make sure it worked. It worked fine, we put it back in the box and stored it in a spare room until we moved which took a month and a half. We moved in last Saturday, set it up on Sunday, and it's now the following Saturday and our TV won't turn on. It worked fine last night, but this morning the only life our TV shows is the standby light. I contacted Amazon Customer Service, they told me what I already knew which is that it was out of the 30 day return period, so they sent me to Amazon Tech Support, they tried trouble shooting it (for example, unplug the power source from the TV and hold down the power button for 30 seconds then plug the tv back in and hit power) Nothing worked so I was told to call Sharp Tech Support and he tried trouble shooting it as well. Nothing worked. He transferred me to someone else who said that I will get a phone call in 3-5 business days so I can set up an appointment to get it looked at. Are you kidding me?! I have to wait 3-5 business days just to set up an appointment to get my FAULTY TV fixed. It's been working for only SIX days. SIX! I'm so over Sharp. Now I know why my dad said "Good luck with that" after I bought this TV. Worst. Purchase. EVER.
