July 11, 2016
This projector is exactly what you should expect for the price and one notch higher. I ordered this item in October of 2015 and used it probably around two dozen times until Feb. of 2016 when the HDMI port stopped working. At the time I had just had another child and did not have spare moments to fiddle with it so I put it away until July 2016 when I was going to have guests and decided it was time to see if I could do a little troubleshooting with it. Honestly, I have kids so I wouldn't doubt the HDMI port stopped working because of rough usage. I reached out to the company (expecting nothing because of the amount of time that had passed) but wanted to make sure there wasn't something I could do to reset the ports. They responded within a few hours of my late evening email (Shelley was very kind, honest, and thorough). They apologized and expressed concern for my issue and helped me test a few things and then offered to exchange or refund part of the cost. I was blown away. I had waited months to contact them and this item was not under any warranty. I graciously took a portion of the refund that they had offered because this is exactly the kind of company I want to stay afloat. In a world of machine customer servicing this was just a breath of fresh air. We can still use our projector for gaming, videos, movies and pictures---so that my friends it why they get five GIANT stars.
best possible projector for its price. It will rival expensive projectors.
March 21, 2016
As a person who now owns 3 "cheap projectors" & 1 nice one let me say that I can not believe the quality of tis thing. There are no words to express the pure awesomeness. I have owned a Wonderwall Discovery projector & a Sharper Image & both were more expensive & junk compared to these. Most cheap projectors are in full screen and project a much smaller image along with being to dark and having the worst resolution possible. As soon as I plug this projector in it lit up the entire bedroom wall. I could not believe what was happening. Other projectors would only light up half the wall. I ended up buying a queen-size flat sheet and it wasn't big enough. Then I bought a king-size flat sheet and it still wasn't big enough. I found myself watching The Happening and I could see the pores on Mark Wahlberg's face. My bedroom is literally a movie theater now. I have to project On the back wall and this means that I cannot make the projector smaller if I wanted to. But I don't want to. I understand the native resolution might be less than full HD but when you're projecting on a screen that is bigger than a king size sheet none of that matters because you can see things you would never see before. The picture is clear. It is bright. Not bright enough for daylight viewing but as long as you close the blinds in daylight you're good. At night time if you have dim light you can watch it as well. But personally I like it dark. I am sorry for the long review but I have to say that over the years I have tried my best to spend a little amount of money and try to get a decent projector. I have upgraded crappy projectors to their maximum capacity. In the end this puppy beats all. Also it will stream anything off of USB. For example I plug a terabyte drive into it with movies saved on it and they will all play. Blu-ray player hooked to it as well. The remote is very convenient. The settings are easy to mess with. The projectors volume can be loud but the natural speaker sound like a tin can. It has Audio out which is hooked to a stereo. But the good part is once you hook it to a stereo you can in fact control the volume from the projector remote which minimizes having to use multiple remotes. If you had a digital movie on a USB for example you would only need one remote. I have been playing with this thing for a week almost Non-Stop and I can't get enough of it. I am submitting pictures with this. You will notice two of the pictures are before I got a sheet as a screen. For this you will be able to see my closet door which will give you a little bit of a scale as to how big does puppy really is. After This projector I am seriously reconsidering needing a television. I don't see much a point anymore. Especially in the bedroom.
Well worth it--Good resolution & Brightness.

This project is amazing for only $100! I got this projector for my boyfriend and he loves it! We project across our bedroom (about 12 feet) and the resolution is still very good (it projects to probably about 8 feet wide). it is a great alternative to having a TV in the bedroom because it makes the room feel like a theater without a bulky tv or tv stand. It is bright enough that I can still watch movies and such with a light on. I don't know how well the speaker in the system works though--I have it hooked up to an external sound system. I would definitely buy this again!

This is my first review on anything, so here goes. I bought this for my first movie night for my kids and I everything worked great. It's smaller than I thought it was going to be but that wasn't an issue at all. If you're thinking about getting a projector don't be afraid to get this one. This picture is just on my wall in the backyard about 15-20 feet away. Hope this helps
Great for the price.
August 20, 2015
Shockingly good for the price. We've rented and borrowed much more expensive projectors and this one is just as good as those. The pictures attached were taken in our living room and the sun wasn't even completely down (about 6:30pm EST). I'd definitely recommend it for family movie nights and fun get togethers with friends. One thing that's not so great is the sound. I'd definitely recommend hooking up a good set of speakers.

Perfect for outdoor movie night
November 23, 2015
If you are buying this projector for your main television, then you are not reading the specs on this device.I bought this projector knowing the picture quality was lower. We use it for outdoor movies at night and it works fantastic for it. Extremely portable and easy to use AND a great value. If I broke this, I would not be sad because it is cheap enough to buy another.
Good for videos and cartoons
January 28, 2015
Before I start, yes this is a review for the UC28 Pro Projector, basically the cheapest projector available on Amazon.I've read most reviews published were addressing poor resolution, color, and image quality, I would say that most people purchasing this projector got one for the wrong purpose. This projector has image quality and resolution compared to old ipods, so don't expect it to act as a monitor, but more like something to watch videos on before bed. It's easy on the eyes, and it offers a pleasantly watchable screen. Screen is sized about 5 feet diagonal at a distance of 12 feet.Yes it works best in the dark and it is not possible to read most text on it, but for watching youtube quality videos it's perfect. The only downside is the noise the fan puts out, however this rarely louder than the volume of what is projected.

December 26, 2014
While I am a tech-savvy person, this projector is definitely made for the not-so-tech-savvy person. Unboxing everything was clear cut, I never so much as looked at the instructions. Two AAA batteries are needed for the remote and a good, stable place to put it at least 2 feet away from the screen or wall you are projecting onto. The picture: The picture was a lot better than I expected for a $50 projector. It's only 40 lumens, whereas a professional projector is around 500 (but also 500 dollars). This means that in high light situations, it's not going to be very good. Personally I put this in my basement for my kids, in the dark, the picture is just fine. The lens has to be manually adjusted like a camera lens in order to be in focus. It says up to 100" but it can actually be bigger if you can get the projector far enough away from your screen. The sound: Probably the only weak point of this is the sound. The sound isn't very good if there is other noise in the room, HOWEVER, there is an auxiliary slot so you can plug in headphones or external speakers if you want to use them.Ease of use: Out of box I plugged it in and hit the power button. The light went off, then flashed three times, then came back on. A few seconds later the picture turned on. It went straight to the menu, which is very simple. Only four icons, movies, pictures, music, and text. I plugged my movie USB drive in, navigated through the movie icon, and found my movies, selected one, and BAM, I was watching a movie. TOO EASY.Anyone can use this projector. There is no standard projector mount slots on the bottom, but there is a tripod mount, so if you could mount this onto your ceiling using that, there is a turn button on the remote in order to flip your screen horizontally and vertically. It's by NO means a $500 projector, but for simple use, or for kids... it can't be beaten.
Great!
September 9, 2014
Its exactly what I was looking for at the price I needed. I read the reviews and decided to give it a go. I've played around with it some to see how it looked and sounded. I thought the sound was pretty good... loud enough. I also thought the picture was good. I wasn't expecting to get anything spectacular, but something that would work to play a movie outside for my kids. They will love it and that's what counts. When it finally shipped, it arrived the very next day! I think it will be worth the money.
Great Product for projecting movies on Travel Trailer while camping
September 4, 2014
This is a great little projector which works perfect for our applications. Item was purchased to project movies for the kiddos on the side of my travel trailer during camping excursions, and we all collectively could not be happier with the overall item. The projector came exactly as pictured/described and I had it up and running (streaming from Roku thru the HDMI port) in under 5 minutes. Directions, as with most of these type items are really useless, but if you have any bit of tech knowledge (i.e hook up a flat screen tv to cable receiver box, etc) it will be a non-issue. The picture quality for the movies is actually pretty good (you will not get clear HD quality) and the sound output on the projector worked great too ( I actually was able to project a clear movie image of over 60-inches with no problems). I can see where other viewers did not like this type of projector for actual computer presentations (as wording does get distorted quite a bit) but I wasn't concerned with this, as this was not the true intention of the purchase, and if looking for high-quality, you are going to need to spend 3x's more on a projector specifically set-up to handle such applications.
Okay here it is:
March 17, 2014
It works. It's cheap. It's small. What else do you need to hear, right?First things first, bought just as is, it only plays off of a USB drive; meaning you plug in a USB stick with a movie on it and with the remote/buttons on the projector you find the USB (easy to do) and play whatever you want from it.I'm not very tech-savy but that was pretty easySet-up is virtually non-existant.It's ready right out of the box. Just plug that sucker in, get the USB in, AAA batteries in the remote (optional, actually) and play your movie/watch your photos.Projection is actually pretty clear. I set mine up on a shelf in my room and played it on a plain white wall directly across from it. I want to say it was about 8 feet away and I could read out the cast from the movie credits perfectly fine. And it's a very standard size. I wasn't looking for a home-movie-theatre type of thing. This is perfect for date nights, or for kids to watch a fun movie without hogging the TV. Actually pretty hipster-like too lolPoint blank: you get what you paid for.You want A+ projection, go spend A+ money.I ain't got that money so this is perfect for me! My only hope is it lasts a long time, and I will definitely be updating if it happens to break.I just wanted to write everything I noticed about the product that I didn't read in any of the reviews!

but decided with Amazon excellent return service to try this out
November 25, 2016
read the one stars and the five stars.... was going to purchase a name brand more expensive projector...but decided with Amazon excellent return service to try this out. I do not regret it. Now like every one says this is not high end. But I remember my first Optoma projector back in 1989...this bests that. Now if you use dark area and appropriate wall...and external sound you will have fun. Especially for parties or movies. About 15 ft from wall well over 140 inch screen. the farther back you sit the clearer it looks. The fan is noisy and it gets hot. So need to connect to external device. remember to turn off after few hours to cool down. So...For 60 dollars this is a great value. buy this first and then go from there. I still plan to buy better one...but this is great as a loaner for the kids or a back up....as well. Or I may even by one or two more for cool party experience. Please note I am in no hurry to upgrade....this was a good deal. i am curious about some of the other low end projectors. Would be awesome if this had Bluetooth to connect to other sound source....
Recommended for people on a budget
July 12, 2016
What a great little projector! I did not expect much for the price, but I have been using this in my bedroom and project onto a blank wall. We keep our bedroom pretty dark as we are day sleepers, but the picture quality is pretty amazing even in the evening in other rooms. It is placed at 100 inches from the wall and we generally get a pretty crisp image. I connect my iPhone with a separate adapter and it works great. I would recommend using a separate speaker as the speaker on the unit isn't that great, but could work in.a pinch. Much cheaper than purchasing a new television. We have it mounted onto an old floor lamp stand for height. I would give it five stars if the audio quality were better. This would be great for people on a budget and the fact that it is portable means we can. Have a movie night outdoors this fall!
Overall, good product for the cost
June 10, 2016
Picture quality is good. While using HDMI connection and connecting to a external audio source the volume is low and tough to hear. Ended up connecting the external audio source through computer and was able to get much better/louder sound. Overall, good product for the cost. Allows the family to watch movies in the back yard by the fire.
Simple. Great for the Price
April 20, 2016
This projector gets the job done. While it isn't as crisp or bright as high-end models, for the price it's certainly worth it ($85 at the time of my purchase). I bought two and hope that I will see longevity from the projectors going forward. After two days, I am pleased. I have the projector placed about 10 feet from my wall and it produces a clear, 7-foot picture on my blackout screen. The internal speaker is loud enough that I can hear it from the next room. The hook ups are very simple. I just have the power cable and hdmi running to it.The menu selection is very basic. The only issue I have with it, at this point, is that text does not appear very clearly. You can still read it, but at the projector's sharpest text still appears blurry, especially around the edges. Videos, however, show up wonderfully. I'm guessing that's why the description said "great for gaming, not for powerpoints."Not sure what else to say, other than if you are on a budget you should give this projector a shot.
... the picture quality was not going to be as good as a pricier model
March 18, 2016
I bought this knowing that it was cheap and that the picture quality was not going to be as good as a pricier model. I have to say that I am more than happy so far with this projector. Yes it Mus t be really dark to get the best image and yes you will need to hook up some other speakers to it because the sound is not the best. I bought a 40 dollar pair of speakers and played a movie and it sounded and looked great. It has only been a few days since I purchased this but so far I love it and enjoy watching movies on a big screen. I bought a new white sheet and thumb tacked it to my ceiling and I have a perfect screen that I can put away when I am done. I also hooked my blu Ray player up to it and it looks great. Works also with movies on usb drive. Like I said, the picture quality is not perfect but for the price it is worth it to me.
It's a good product.
January 18, 2016
For what it is and what it does it is well worth the price. I use it everyday for everything from gaming to watching movies. I would recommend to anyone wanting to get into projectors as a great entry level projector. It's a wee bit loud (The cooling fan), and some times a get a spot on the far right of the screen that's darker than the rest. However it's still great to use. It's native resolution aforementioned in the product details is accurate. This thing will hold you over until you can afford sony's 4k hi-def projector ^.^

I am scanning all my favorite old pics and then watching them outdoors
August 4, 2016
I am scanning all my favorite old pics and then watching them outdoors. This worked really well for that. It says on the box great for kids and it is! For any other use, probably not so much. But if you want to take a white sheet and look at all your old family pictures one summer night I think it is worth the price of admission.
Extremely easy to use and a wide variety of options
April 25, 2016
Exactly what I was looking for! Extremely easy to use and a wide variety of options. I love that I can plug my HDMI cable right into the side, along with my USB thumb drive and SD card. Has a spot on the bottom to install a tripod. Quality of video isn't great, but for a travel/small projector, it's perfect. I hooked my speakers right up to it and it worked great! My only reason for not giving this 5 stars is the overall quality of the unit. It looks somewhat cheaply made, but that's why I'll just be extra careful in it! For example, if I were to accidentally drop this off a counter top, it would most likely break. Overall extremely satisfied with the product and price! I suggest this one!
Great projector for the price point
February 4, 2016
I bought this projector for my boyfriend as a Christmas gift. I work as a trainer for POS software, so when I go on site with customers I bring one of my company's projectors with me. My boyfriend liked when I had the projector for the weekend, because he would use it for gaming and movies - so I decided that it would make a great Christmas gift.Let me start by saying that I was not prepared to pay the price for a projector that is comparable in picture quality to the one that I use for work, so I began by looking in the $50 - $100 price range. When I found this particular projector, I poured over the reviews and decided that I would give it a shot. The projector arrived ahead of it's scheduled delivery date, and in perfect condition. I was so excited about it that I gave it to my boyfriend as soon as he got home that day. We plugged it in and were pleasantly surprised by the picture quality for the price point. It obviously does not compare to models that are $300+, but for our purposes it is perfect. Below is my review of the pros and cons:Pros:- Great Price- Good picture quality for the price- USB input option (we load a lot of our movies on USB flash drives)- It has it's own speakers for audio, but you have the option to add additional audio output- You can move it quite a distance from the wall and still have good picture, so it's like having an 80 in. screen in your living room- Simple and easy to use operating system - just plug it in and start viewing!Cons:- The room has to be fairly dark while you are using it- When watching lower quality movies (we download a lot) the picture is slightly grainy- The cord is very short, this a minor detail but I did need to buy an extension cord for it so that we could get it a proper distance from the wall and still have access to an outlet.Overall, an awesome purchase for the price if you are a casual gamer or movie watcher and want a bigger screen to view on. I would not recommend for anyone giving presentations where the audience has to read the screen (such as powerpoints) or for someone looking for a highly professional picture quality.
Worked perfect for our needs
September 7, 2015
We used this for an "End of Summer Break" movie and it worked as it is advertised. This projector does require a very dark room or a somewhat dark night, but what do you expect when only paying $40 dollars? SD slot worked, AV worked, HDMI worked,(warning: will not work for laptops with HDMI output. HD resolutions are too high for the projector. Projector worked with ps3, Xbox 360 through HDMI though) it has a remote, brightness and contrast are adjustable, tripod mountable and speaker wasn't half bad. For what I paid for it, it was amazing! Rated 4 stars due to the fact that it was not HD quality and that it does not support .avi, but still did what it was intended for: playing a watchable movie on the outside wall of the garage.
Good, not great
June 23, 2015
I am a teacher and I use this for showing videos and things to my students. It is small and portable, and it projects pictures. It is what I wanted for my classroom. I would not use this for anything involving reading off the screen because the image is fairly low resolution. For showing movies or videos to kids it is perfect. Overall I am very happy with this product. That being said this is a low cost piece of technology so don't expect the $500 experience because you will not get it. If you are getting it to show things to kids, or to watch SOME tv on it then you'll be happy.
Works fine with USB and hdmi
August 15, 2014
Arrived on time. Works fine with USB and hdmi....I put 3 avi videos plugged directly in, in ntfs format and they worked, no sync issues and plugged a WD Live in hdmi and all worked no problem...video quality is below VHS, text is hard to read, video jagged but for price and how easy it works, totally worth it....kids watched partly cloudy and wow wow wubzy and didn't say anything about quality...sound was a 3.5mm plugged into turtle shell 2...it was a bit low sound but was crisp....speaker in projector is horrible...def recommend external speakers...happy with quality for price. If u want a lower quality projector that video plays ok, get this....if u want higher resolution and sharpness, look elsewhere

Cheap and OK for movies. Just don't expect high def.
June 2, 2017
Cheap and OK for movies. Just don't expect high def. But for kids it is unbeatable at this price. And they can use it for hours and years and the cost to operate is minimal and the bulb doesn't seem to wear out.
Limiting
February 21, 2017
It's certainly not the best, but that probably comes with the low price tag.The biggest issue I have is with the distance. It has to be way closer to the surface you are projecting on to than I was lead to believe. The sound is not great, but still. It over-all isn't a BAD purchase for the price.
Product is 1000 lumens, NOT 1200
October 23, 2016
POTENTIAL BUYS PLEASE NOTE that the product description says 1200 lumens, but it is actually only 1000 lumens. I've tried the projector and was generally satisfied with the product in relation to its price. The remote control seems cheaply made and doesn't work terribly well, requiring you to press buttons repeatedly to work. I purchased for use at a party and it's absolutely fine for my purpose (again, considering the cost). I would not be impressed if I was using to watch a movie.
Forks for general purpose fun, not powerful by any measure
July 12, 2016
Works fantastic, I use it with USB thumb drives and it is able to read a surprising number of video file formats, including MKV. Wish it was a lot brighter, but good for indoor use. Not good enough for outdoor/back yard movies. Very loud cooling fan that overpowers the weak internal speaker, requiring external speakers or headphones to be plugged in. A bit of blur around the edges, very common for these bargain projectors.
Getting a replacement
May 8, 2016
I owned it for 2 months and then it just stopped working out of the blue. The HDMI port is simply no longer picking up a picture like it had before.I was contacted quickly by customer service are they are going to be sending me a new replacement unit as part of the warranty.
"You get what you pay for" - Well, no, not exactly.
November 2, 2015
The device works in a small theater room environment or dark bedroom with very little light, which was my intended purpose for it. The fan, however, clocks in at 50 db from 5 feet away and up to 80db if you are right next to it. This, for my needs, renders it unserviceable. The image quality is fair but, as stated in many reviews, text comes off as blurry in odd spots. There is mechanical vertical keystoning, but to a very limited degree. It it's defense the projector looks nice and contemporary while sporting a decent "not too cheap" heft to it. While not Ultra-Portable it could easily fit in a rolling business case or backpack. If you need something that will project, don't care about image quality and don't need to read any text, this will work. It might even help by softening the rough edges of older movies! As is, I'd recommend it as a purchase around $50.

Not bad!
June 18, 2017
It's okay.Great starter projector. Not bad for gaming and movies.I did find that the room must be completely dark for best results.Picture quality isn't the best, but what do you expect for the price.I would say that this would be great for a kids room.
Decent, but you get what you pay for
November 16, 2016
This worked okay for what we needed it for, but I wasn't overly impressed. The picture quality was okay up close but if you were going to use it more than 10-15 feet from a screen then it was kind of hard to see. But it was still fun having an outdoor family fun night :)
Great for the money
March 24, 2016
Its a great little projector in a pinch. This was my gateway projector. I wanted to do outdoor movie nights, but didn't want to spend a whole lot to only do it once. I have since upgraded, but we still use it especially on camping trips. Is very small and easy to transport. Easy to hook up. I LOVE that it fits onto a camera tripod. I have a field camera tripod, making the height perfectly adjustable! The only problem I had with it is it really needs exterior sound (we hooked up a jawbone speaker mostly) and the picture leaves something to be desired. If it is very dark, the picture is much better, but outside the ambient light of the city makes it hard to see and focus. That's why we take this one on camping trips now :)
Instead of binge watching like a loner on small screen, binge watch like a loner using this projector.
December 18, 2015
I'm not a regular Projector user, so keep that in mind when you consider my review. The projector arrived pretty soon, I like the overall built quality, took me a little while for my slow butt to get the settings figured out. I think it's pretty straight forward, doesn't require too much learning. The only thing that makes me give 3 stars is the time it took me to set it to proper focus. Again maybe it's just me but overall, I like this product, good for a small home/ office room, if you're tired of binge watching shows or Muhammad Ali's (GOAT) fights on a small screen, this is product is for you.
Good littlle projector for the price for a dark room
October 31, 2015
The projection lens is a tad on the loose side, but it sufficed. I used this with the AtmosFEARfx pumpkin Jamboree and the image was ok but I needed a projector with a stronger light (This one is rated as having an led lamp packing 48 lumens). It was good working behind a screen however, so I'll keep it. One of the benefits with this projector, was that it has a good assortment of source inputs that you can use (AV, USB, SD). It has an internal speaker (but I needed to mount external speakers...but i was easily able to plug in a 1/8 chord from a pair of pc speakers that I had) which delivered the audio. The internal speaker can be muted. The noise of the fan wasn't a big distraction (especially with the sound from the internal speakers). I also liked the fact that it could be mounted easily on my tripod so that the projector was out of the way of the display. If you turn off the system, it forgot the current projection file from my USB San Disk. But a minute later I had the image up and running.
I want something better but this is good for now.
July 24, 2015
I bought this projector because I wanted a large screen to watch movies and Netflix in my room. It was easy to set up and I could get the image even bigger than 60". There is definitely no problem with it and watching movies on it is great! But when reading small words or trying to play video games on it, it's very hard to see. To begin with, the screen isn't very bright and you pretty much can only watch things in a pitch black room. But what makes the screen hard to see is that you can see each individual pixel, which isn't noticeable much during movies but when playing video games or reading text on a blue rayplayer home screen, it can be very difficult. Yes this gave me what I wanted but I wish I had saved my money for one a little more expensive.

Great idea, but way too weak of a light to use anywhere except a pitch black roan. Not practical for slide shows in a club or office environment. I returned it and spent four times as much on an entry model office projector.
Get What You Pay For
November 12, 2015
For a cheap projector that we wanted to use for family movie night, the picture and sound is great. However within a month of purchase, the USB port stopped working and is no longer recognizing the flash drive we used the first night we watched movies on it. The HDMI still works, but the added need for a computer to play movies defeats the portable aspect I wanted.
It is great for the money
October 27, 2015
It is great for the money. Except mine only works with an HDMI hookup. Which is fine because I use my laptop to run it primarily.

60" is pretty much worthless for a projector
March 11, 2016
60" is pretty much worthless for a projector. I was hoping that was a mistake and that it would be able to project a larger image. But no go, the image washes out and gets blurry if you try to go further back to enlarge the picture. Also it is more of a long throw projector for this size screen.I returned this for the Abdtech 130" Mini LED Projector 1000 Lumens Portable Home Theatre Projector instead. I'd recommend spending a little bit more for that projector instead of the this Rienar. See my review for the Abdtech for more details.
Explosive Product
November 20, 2015
Worked good after we figured out how to focus it for different lengths from the screen....but....all of a sudden after about 10-15 uses it stops working...I go ahead and plug it in to see if I can fix the problem and kabang! A flash of light and an explosion. I took it to an electronics repair place and they said the capacitor was completely blown to smitherings inside...wouldn't be worth the repair cost. 2 stars because when it worked it worked fine and did what we needed. 2 stars because it blew up literally on us
Not The Best But It's Ok
July 20, 2015
I wouldn't say this is good, but it's not bad either, the projector projects video at an ok quality and you can watch videos/movies at 60 lnches, but I was expecting the projector to show movies at decent quality. It is really hard to read text using this projector as well. The text is blurry most of of the time unless its a certain font. You get what you pay for.
For $50, I should have expected this.

The product advertises a VGA port and compatibility with HDMI. Neither of these advertised features are included in this product. You get three ways to input vide: SD Card, USB (from hard drives only, no computer support), and A/V (they supply an adapter to RCA composite, so this will work with DVD players and most RCA-compatible gaming systems.) I didn't even bother testing it out, because I need to project from my computer. This can't do that, so it meets none of my needs. From the other reviews I've read, your mileage may vary on the picture quality. Be aware that this IS a projector, and the light output rating on the box says "48 lumens". To compare, a 100w lightbulb puts out between 1600 and 1800 lumens. So, take from that what you will.
This is NOT a good projector, Mini HD Projector UC28 Pro
February 3, 2015
This is NOT a good projector, Mini HD Projector UC28 Pro. I bought this to use in a school presentation but after using it, the quality of the images and videos I wanted to show were really POOR. It is hard to read words off it as well. I had to go to plan B and print out my slides for the class since there was no time to order a more powerful mini projector. I give it two stars since it is small and portable which is what I wanted for easier travel. Aside from that, I suggest to AVOID the "Mini HD Projector UC28 Pro" and spend the extra cash for better one.

Not a good product. Wish I could get a refund.
September 30, 2017
Stopped work after about 40 hours. Random lines showing up all down the side of the screen. Took very good care of the projector. Always kept in the box after using. Turned it on one day and about 1/4 of the right side of the screen is white with lines all down the side. Very disappointed. Unfortunately I can't return this to Amazon.
Do not pursue this, find another projector.

The projector failed the first time we used it, unsure if it overheated, but only projected for a few seconds and then shut down. We couldn't even get the settings changed on it before it would time out again.
Doesn't work.

August 25, 2015
This is the worst projector that there is. When my 4 years old son who i bought it for so that he can have it in his room can tell me " Dad its no good" that should some up how bad it it.USPS just dropped it off a few under an hr ago. The item is very easy to set up but you can NOT see nothing clearly form it even when its properly focused. DO NO BUY.. this will be a waste of time. this is the worst product that you can put your money on.Amazon should not even allow for this crap to be sold on this site.DO NOT BUY. NO GOOD.
Stop working on Day 1!!
April 3, 2015
I just got it TODAY and it came on once and now it don't work. I was very happy but now i guess you get what you paid for. I'm sending it back in the morning!!! It will only come on and the light above the power doesn't come on. I'm not sure if I just a bad projector or what but I would at least thought it would still over after a few days but I got it today and it stop working. Guess the Children during Kidz Church wont get it use it after all.I wouldn't replace it and I try it one more time.
Awful.
March 14, 2015
I read previous negative reviews about the picture not being clear but I just needed this projector for tracing things for painting. The menu is so hard to figure out and it wouldn't even connect my iPhone to it at all. And on top of all that the picture is so ridiculously pixalated. I bought it because it was on sale and I'm glad I didn't but it full price for almost $200. Such a waste of money. Will be returning it come Monday.
I cannot recommend this product for any usage
January 14, 2015
Very dissappointed in this product didn't work as portrayed in ad. Unable to view images at any distance, also unable to focus images. However I was able to use the ports provided within the unit USB as well as HDMI connections. I cannot recommend this product for any usage.
Biggest waste of money
January 7, 2015
Just because they have this labeled as the #1 best seller doesn't mean much. Sure, this has a lot of fancy features with the remote but that means nothing when you can't enjoy the picture. I don't know how this compares to other projectors but this was far worse to me than the "Eyeclops" projector, which is basically a toy. I got this hoping that it would be much better than the Eyeclops but ended up worse. In fact I highly recommend Eyeclops, even though it is pretty dim, the picture is much larger at a closer range. It isn't perfect but is much more tolerable and somewhat enjoyable when you get use to it.
Not for PowerPoint Presentations
October 3, 2014
I bought this for a powerpoint presentation. It arrived on time, but there was no USB or HDMI cable, so I bought an HDMI to go with it. Also no batteries in the remote control. Those were minor annoyances. When I finally got it set up, I was really disappointed to see that the picture quality is so bad that it's unusable for my presentation. The screen size is small, the picture is dim, and worst of all, the text is so pixellated that it is unreadable. I'm going to send it back. Reading others' reviews, it looks like this product is only sufficient for projecting cartoons outdoors for kids; wish I had read these more carefully before I bought this thing.
