A very nice looking faucet that finally does what I want it ...
February 7, 2017
A very nice looking faucet that finally does what I want it to. We previously had an American Standard similar type pull down head, but due to pipes underneath the sink and only a very lightweight counter weight, the faucet head would droop and fall further out whenever the water was turned on. Thankfully, this one DOES stay in place and the pull down head is easily returned and locks into place via the embedded magnet and turn locking mechanism. One point to note: this is a popular item so it may occasionally get returned for whatever reason, as you may notice by the large number of reviews, and in reading one that came with a video, the owner mentioned that he bought this in Amazon's Warehouse Deals and saved some $, so I checked it out and they had one for sale, open box, for $153 total, so I bought it. All parts were still wrapped and bags sealed...only the box had been opened and it was brand new with no blemishes, so you might want to check that out. Definitely worth that price, by far.
Very nice looking and solid construction
October 20, 2016
Very nice looking and solid construction. Almost impossible to install by yourself though. Need another to hold the faucet in place while you tighten the bracket underneath. Also, the identical looking water lines are marked with hot and cold inserts on the ends. But, if you have to cut off the ends of the lines to shorten them, there are no other markings on the lines to tell you which is the hot and which is the cold. Mark sure you label the lines hot and cold with pieces of tape before you cut them. Delta could eliminate this potential problem by just providing other hot/cold markings along the entire length of these two lines.
So happy It is better then expected

Had the two handle with separate sprayer for as long as I can remember. When facing a kitchen remodel decided to join the bandwagon and ditch the 2 handle. I was a little resistant to change but I love it and I am so happy I did. I did tons of research and decided to go with this model. It is large but smaller then the other models. It is just right. With the pull out there is no reason for it to come out halfway over your sink. It took a day or two to get used the the handle. I rarely pull the handle out all the way or water sprays everywhere because of the pressure. I have only been using it for about a month so can't speak long term although we use it constantly. I had to wash everything in my kitchen so it got about 6 months worth of use in about a week. You have to feed the sprayer back into the faucet and in a particular position but it kind of pulls it in once you get it there. The only problem I had was the finish. A small spot looked like the chrome had been rubbed off. I didn't notice it till the led lights got put over it and so I don't know if it came that way. I am a little ocd about things. My husband still hasn't noticed it. If given the choice I would buy this faucet again
Looks nice, installed easily - just use a couple of tie-wraps on the plastic connector
August 22, 2015
One caveat - as others have noted, the plastic connector needs to be reinforced with tie-wraps. We had a plumber friend install it, as he had all the useful tools to get up under the sink cabinets. The installation went well, except that when full pressure was applied, the joint popped open (as someone else reported). I had already advised our plumber to reinforce it, but he chose to go ahead without the tie-wraps. Oops. Once he put it back together and added the straps everything was fine. The only minor issue is that is it very easy to get the single handle "almost" back to off, but with a small drip if it isn't quite centered. Otherwise it looks great, swivels with no effort and the stream/switch spray button works great.
Gorgeous!
August 17, 2013
This is a beautiful faucet. I had no idea I would love the look; I bought it for several practical reasons: it has one of the highest water pressure rates, the neck is tall and extends out further than most other faucets, and the spray nozzle return has some of the best reviews. All of those factors have been wonderful! We have three separate, deep sinks. The taller, wider neck allows the water to go further into the two side sinks easily. Because our sinks are so deep, we don't have any splashback issues when the water is on full blast. However, I can see how that might be an issue if someone has shallow sinks. The magnet feature of the nozzle return works very well. This is important because we had to make a minor modification: due to our three sinks...and three drain lines...and the disposal plumbing...and the hot water dispenser plumbing...there's not much room under the sink. The hose is supposed to have a weight on it to pull the nozzle back into the faucet. Unfortunately, the weight kept banging around under the sink. The noise was a bother, and I was worried about damage to the plastic pipes if the weight continually banged into the same place. So, I removed the weight. The nozzle doesn't retract on its own now. But, in some ways that's better. It stops wherever we pull it out. For example, if I'm washing vegetables, I can pull the nozzle out just far enough -- 4-5 inches -- turn the water on, and have a nice shower for the veggies -- hands free! A little nudge to the nozzle sends it back up to the faucet where the magnet catches it. We haven't missed the weight at all. The only other tiny "really?" was during installation. There are two miniscule plastic tabs that are supposed to hold the faucet in place on the hole to the counter. With all the heavy (well-made) metal parts of this faucet, tiny plastic tabs didn't last long. Fortunately, snapping one off didn't impede installation too much. Finally, I was concerned about the amount of clearance necessary for the water control handle. The existing hole center is 2-1/2" from the backsplash. Although it's tight, the way the handle rotates on an angle, we have a fraction of an inch to spare. (Thanks to all the reviewers who measured for me!)

July 15, 2016
Awesome! I've had this for a month. Doesn't leak. Was easy to install. Has a really good weight to it and fits in the holder firmly. Feels really robust. We're are in the process of remodeling our kitchen and needed a new faucet as the old one leaked a lot and was gross.***update May 2017***The button that allows you to select the spray type seems to be dodgy now. Started 3 months ago. I'm used to it, but I don't think other people would be pleased about getting terrible water pressure unless you mess with it for 5 minutes.
Amazing product and customer service.

I have to say I expected a little more, but the outcome was amazing. Simple install, easy to use, and durable. I did have a mishap and contacted the seller and all was well. Top notch service. Would buy from again, and love the product.

December 14, 2015
We purchased this while upgrading sinks in our house - basically since we needed a new plate for the faucet, we decided to completely replace it instead. This gives the house the new modern industrial look, along with being Very practical and stylish. This has 2 different spray features - one is the basic stream that you'd get from any faucet, the other is more of a higher pressure multiple stream spray (along the lines of a shower head). It was quite easy to install - and the directions were easy to follow
Wonderful faucet

Little more challenging to install than others but I was super impressed with the packaging and love the sprayer. The wives of our friends were swooning over it at our last gathering.

Really good
February 6, 2017
First let me say this is much better than the previous Delta faucet I had in many ways. In others it falls short.Thank you to the other reviewer who mentioned using cable ties to secure the clip on the main water hose. I feel it's a safer installation nowPluses:- much better than the handled spout on my last faucet. - The tiny head is much more maneuverable- The hose length is much better - long enough to reach past the edge of the sink- Ease of installation, although you still have to be a pretzel after 100 years of plumbing. Is there no more innovation in this industry?- I like being able to position the handle where I want, mine to the front. It makes for easier access and allows more hands free actions using my elbow- Magnetic faucet head a plus- the spigot swings a full 180 + degrees- I like the height and the only splashes happen when crossing from one sink to the other, easily avoided- I find the flow to be more than sufficient and the spray's power more than adequateMinuses- Much flimsier hose. No more braiding and a lot less flexible.- I have a secondary alkaline water system. They've changed from standard tubing requiring me to purchase two adapters and an additional hose. I now have an additional three feet of tubing for my cold water- It is already becoming apparent that turning it completely off will require careful attention. I accidentally left it streaming today for an hour! It must be positioned exactly in the middle to turn it off. Having the handle facing forward is making this easier to see.Overall a really nice unit.
Let's hope they fix the hose clip design issue, and offer a free replacement for the clip
September 11, 2016
We replaced a leaky old (2007) Moen single handle pull out with this Delta “Leland” 9178-AR-DSTlast week. This was a DIY install, so I was quite grateful for much of the thoughtful sharing of experience and lessons learned by many other reviewers here, particularly Mr Mojo.I wasn't sure whether to give this 3 or 4 stars because we do like it, but there are significant shortcomings. It seems that mid-range plumbing fixtures like this tend to have serious design and quality issues affecting reliability and durability. We would have been willing to buy a significantly more expensive fixture, but I saw too many bad experiences with much more expensive faucets, so the higher price point would only have been more infuriating had there been issues. It really is a nice looking fixture, and will certainly complement a kitchen with stainless appliances, etc. Be aware that though the hub and spout arm seem to be metal, the rest seems to be plastic. Arctic Stainless is a color/finish, not a descriptor for stainless steel. We installed the faucet with the handle on the left, and had no problems. If you are attentive to the installation instructions and the space limitations in your kitchen, you should be able to install this unit with the handle on the left, right, front, or back with no problem. We like the fact that the sprayer magnetically attaches to the arm so you can pull it off or turn slightly and remove it even more easily by exposing opposite poles of the magnets. The sprayer toggles with a switch on the spout from stream to spray, as we expected, and the sprayer turns freely, so you can keep the toggle switch hidden on the back, in full view in the front, etc. As of this writing, the listing info above for this faucet shows a third "Multi-Flow" feature with "a higher flow for quick fills" - that is not correct. Low flow stream, low flow spray, that’s it. If I REALLY need a quick, high volume fill for something, I’ll probably go to the laundry tub anyway – lots of room and no flow governor there. Some have mentioned that the retractable hose for the spout can bind after some time. A few suggested silicone grease, which I would be concerned may collect dirt and gunk up on the hose and within the faucet arm (where you can’t easily clean) after some time. So, I used “B’Laster Silicone Spray Lubricant”, similar to this one https://smile.amazon.com/Blaster-16-SL-Silicone-Lube-11-Ounces/dp/B0019LV3GO , instead. The sprayer hose slides like butter on a griddle! To lubricate, I laid the fixture assembly in our laundry tub to catch overspray, pulled the hose ALMOST all the way through the fixture assembly, sprayed it on the exposed hose and wiped it around with my hand, let it dry/soak in for a while, and gently wiped with a paper towel to remove any excess. Then I pulled the hose ALMOST all the way back through the other side, and repeated the procedure. I've also used this silicone spray with shower rods in the baths. I've also installed plastic shower rod covers over our wood hanger rods in our closets, coating with the silicone spray, air drying for some time, and wiping them prior to install. CLEAN, extremely smooth, almost disarmingly easy movement on these rods years after application. One thing that concerns me about the sprayer hose is that there is no brake to keep the hose from being pulled out so far that it would stress the rigid plastic junction where the vulnerable rigid plastic clip is installed. The weight that comes with this unit slides freely along the hose, and is not designed to be clamped on. We have some extra weights around here from other fixtures such as the Moen I just removed, and on those fixtures they were affixed to an appropriate point along the hose in order to prevent excessive hose withdrawal. I may try putting one of them on our new Delta 9178 hose. Or, since my kids are pretty much grown, maybe we’ll just hope no one gets too enthusiastic with the sprayer. The main thing that concerns me about the sprayer hose is the precarious way that the hose assembly attaches to the faucet assembly, held in place by a rigid plastic clip. This is a serious, unnecessary risk resulting from stunningly bad design. Before buying this faucet, I called Delta to see if they have redesigned this junction – unbelievably, they have not. However, the customer service lady said that if the clip breaks or comes off, they will provide another clip free under the warranty, but that won’t do much for the water damage. I almost didn’t buy the 9178 because of this design danger, but other products I looked at all had their own reliability and durability issues. Reviewer Mr. Mojo thoughtfully articulated a solution, complete with photo, so I thought I would give the 9178 a chance. I saw first hand how easy it would be to dislodge that clip – accidentally bumping it knocked it off rather easily. In fact, in attempting to replicate Mr. Mojo’s solution, the zip ties, when installed per his photo, actually dislodged the clip from the hose junction as I tightened the zip ties at the specified locations– the clip was left hanging in place but the junction was no longer secured. To solve that problem, I relocated the zip ties per the photos attached to this review, and they are situated so that the clip can not come off so long as the ties are in place and the clip remains unbroken. Just don’t overtighten the ties, or the rigid clip may eventually break from that pressure.
Great faucet, but original hose started to deteriorate
September 3, 2015
Purchase from Amazon Jan. 2012.Had one issue (see below), but otherwise an outstanding faucet. We've had the Venetian Bronze finish version for 2 1/2 years, and performance and finish of the faucet has been outstanding. The bronze finish is a really nice look, and the picture is mostly accurate. (have a picture, sorry not the best quality) We paid $238 at the time. It's a very nice looking faucet; good size, craftsmanship, features, handle. Both the spray and the regular flow work very well; nice, consistent, and well designed flow types. The rocker switch is a hard plastic, which is much more durable than the soft rubber types. The bronze finish we have has lasted really well so far. It cleans easily and shows no signs of chipping, scratching, fading, etc. The magnetic dock/latch feature still works great, just as great as the day I installed it. As far as installation goes, it's just a normal faucet install, quite simple for most people.Issue: at 2 1/2 years, we started noticing black specs in the water. (see picture) I didn't know if this was something with our city water, our house, or this particular faucet. Turns out, it was this faucet. I called Delta and they were really helpful; it's a known problem and supposedly not a safety/health concern. It is, indeed, the rubber. It was no hassle, and a replacement hose/wand is on the way. I would assume this has been fixed in production, but I don't know. And the other question is whether the same type of hose was used across different products. But at least the customer support was great. I would buy this product again, but can't do 5 stars because of that issue.Edit: With having kids, our hot water is not set very hot, so it's not like we exposed the hose to extreme temps. I don't know the temp, but it's quite low. The black specs were mostly noticeable when we used hot water, not so much the cold.Update 9/10/15: Replacement hose came. A side by side picture of the two are uploaded, new one on the right. The new wand assembly doesn't dock as well, and the changes are evident. The hose braiding and connection near the head are totally different, and I suspect the slight increase in the height of the fitting is what keeps the back side from sticking as well as before. It still docks okay, but it takes more intention in doing so. I suppose only time will tell if this hose holds up.Update 9/28/16: Faucet and hose continue to perform great. The replacement hose from a year ago is still functioning okay.
One piece away from being flawless
November 30, 2014
I've had this faucet for almost a year (purchased Dec 20th, 2013), and it's been performing exceptionally well. The reason I had to take off one star is for its Achilles heal - the plastic retainer for its extension hose. The first time I turned on the faucet and tested all the components, the retainer snapped off and sent water spraying all over my cabinet. Thankfully, I was prepared for this after reading the one star rated review on here. I remedied that fault by using two zip ties to keep the retainer in place, and I highly recommend that you do the same. See the photo attached.Other than that, everything is very well built, and has a great feel to it. I was a bit turned off by the plastic water lines, but from what I've read, all new faucets are like that. The material is much safer for drinking water and just as strong as copper pipes.
Love this faucet! Easy to install and works great.
October 24, 2014
Great faucet. For the price and what I was looking for I have been very pleased with this faucet. There are a few small annoyances but I have yet to find one that is all around perfect. My husband installed it easily in less than an hour. It is the third kitchen faucet I have purchased and by far my favorite. The other ones were harder to install and allow us to get decent water pressure. This one had a piece that was easy to remove that allows us to get perfect water pressure (although when it is on spray, it can be a bit too powerful). When using it under the normal setting it is perfect.I love the color and the weight of the head. I also really appreciate the way the actual head looks. One of the faucets we purchased boasted an all silicone sprayer section, which I was excited for because I hate hard water build up and I assumed it would help, but it looked cheap and ridiculous when it was not on perfectly straight. This one has what looks like a small silicone ring where the water sprays out on spray but it still looks decent and isn't noticeable. The pros:• Price• The way it looks• Solid build• Easy installation• Able to remove a piece easily if low pressure is an issueThe cons:• Sometimes keeps dripping because it isn’t perfectly lined up when turning it off (has happened 2-3 times in 6 months)• The head doesn’t go all of the way back in automatically so it is a little off unless you push it back up• Doesn’t come with a soap dispenserI purchased the Premier 125468 Soap Dispenser, Parisian Bronze to go with this faucet. It doesn't match perfectly, but it is close enough I rarely notice. (picture attached)
Pretty good for what you get
June 28, 2014
This is a pretty good faucet so far. The base and handle are pretty heavy duty. The flow seems to be pretty good with both the stream and spray functions. I really like the magnetic part that keeps the head secure when not manually pulled out. It was relatively easy to install, also. I really like the handle as it is very smooth and feels good in your hand (solid). I marked it down to 4 stars for 2 reasons. 1) The head is plastic. I thought it was metal as one of the answered questions said it was metal. It is not. That was the part that broke on my last faucet, but I haven't had a problem with that part so far on this one. 2) The escutcheon (base plate) and mounting tabs are both plastic also. I broke one of the tabs installing it (oops), but it hasn't seemed to have affected it at all. Some of the reviews insisted that you need 2.5 inches from the faucet to the wall or backsplash. I knew ordering it that I didn't have the required room behind the faucet, but since this faucet neck rotates 360 degrees, I just installed the handle on the left side. Worked like a charm. The instructions that come with it are for several versions of the same basic faucet, so that was a little confusing at times, but nothing a little trial and error didn't solve. So I did have to back up a step or two and redo it. Nothing major though.Pros:stream and spray function are niceneck rotates 360 degreescan install with handle on left or right.magnetically holds the head in place, so the head does not droophandle and base feel solidCons:Spray head is plasticEscutcheon and mounting tabs are plasticInstructions were a little unclear for certain versions of the same basic faucet.

So far so good.

So far so good. I really like the look. I am not sure on durability yet as I have only been using my faucet for a 2 weeks. The spray switch does seem a little cheap but again we will see. I will assume that if it does go bad I will be able to order a spray head. One thing that did bother me a lot was that the installation directions that were provided with the faucet. The parts displayed in the directions were not was on the faucet. I was able to figure everything out through trial and error, but this was a turn off or I would have been 5 stars.
So beautiful and high quality!
June 21, 2016
Love the way this looks!! I have been doing an extensive kitchen remodel and I needed something new and beatiful for a facet. I saw facets like these in my local stores but they were much more expensive.I'm so glad I tried this one. It is elegant, modern, and beautiful. The quality is great. Very sturdy and looks even better than the ones I saw 3 times the price. The water pressure is great as well. You can have a steady stream of water or the sprayer. Both work great. The button to switch them is very easy to use, you don't have to fight it like some.Make sure you have room for how tall this is. It's around 16 inches tall so much taller than the average facet. It took me a few days to get used to that but I can't say how much I love this facet and how many complements I've gotten on it.The only con that I have is installation was not easy. It does come with all the parts and water hoses so that's nice. We have remodeled a few things and usually this job would take us 20 minutes and this one was a little over an hour. It's a lot of tightening and balancing for such a small spot. Either way you will love the way this looks!!

I love the style and look of this product but sometimes things like the handle and top of the nozzle come unscrewed a little bit and so we have to tighten them down and when we turn the faucet off it doesn't stop the flow immediately it slows to a trickle then turns off.
Nice looking

I am getting ready to install this faucet.. So far it seems good, but the handle is not as heavy as I expected. Mine came without instruction and it doesn't tell you which is hot / cold. I have a 50/50 shot not too hard to change.Update; I just installed the faucet and it is a good faucet. Caution they are still sending the 1/2" hoses with the unit. If that is what you need fine, but most sinks in the U.S. Are 3/8". They have good customer service who corrected my issue the same day.

Works as expected but not the best water pressure by default.
August 17, 2017
Clean look, works fine, install went well. But I stress the same thing as others, the "Flow" on either setting (spray or not) is pretty weak. Its around half the volume and pressure of my previous sink faucet at half the price. I experimented with removing some restrictions within the head but had no luck (pictures), saw no difference really. However after about a month we are getting used to it, just get a good scrub brush for the dishes.. I see folks zip-tieing the blue piece that holds the water lines together, I'd probably suggest that as well to be safe you normally never touch it. Add water sensors under your sink! If anyone figures out how to increase pressure easily share the wealth!
Beautiful Design but Terrible Control
August 22, 2016
I purchased this item in 2014. I have had this faucet for nearly two years and would love to replace it. Despite its great design its function is just awful. The issues are poor control of the water flow and poor control of temperature. The water flow is either full on or full off. With a lot of patience you can adjust the water flow to a medium, but if you are washing dishes and are continuously turning the water on and off it would drive you nuts. It has the same issue with the temperature. It seems as if it has two temperatures which are hot and cold. Again, trying to get the temperature warm or "just so" will take way more patience than I am willing to give to a faucet. I have had some incredibly cheap single handle faucets over my lifetime and have never experienced these issues. We have adjusted the temperature of our water heater many times to see if that would make a difference but it has not. When I purchased the faucet in 2014, the flow rate was 1.8 gallons per minute (newer faucets may be 1.5 gallons per minute). I recently purchased an in-line adapter that reduces the flow to 1.5 gallons per minute (Delta Part #RP61607) in hopes that it would give me a little more control but it didn't make the difference I was hoping for. When I showed my plumber the faucet he said, "You got a Delta faucet. Good for me, bad for you." I asked what he meant and he said, "You will be calling me to replace it soon enough. I recommend you get a Grohe for your next faucet". I really think this faucet deserves a 2.5 star rating.
Water temp. and force difficult to adjust
August 21, 2016
I replaced my old single handle kitchen faucet with this one. My old one wasn't a pull down faucet. I really like the styling of this one and the pull down feature with magnetic docking. However, it is VERY difficult to get the right water temp. along with the right water force I want. The water's either too hot, cold or the water force is too weak or too strong. As I said, my old faucet was also a single handle, so I know how to work one, but I just can't seem to find that "sweet spot" on this one to get warm water along with the right water force.
I am not terribly impressed so far but hopefully it will turn out okay.
March 20, 2016
My first impressions for what it's worth.I purchased this Delta faucet after reading the reviews that appeared to be so great for various websites and from the reviews on Amazon.Although considering how extremely expensive this faucet is I am not impressed so far with a couple of things and my first impression was considering how expensive this is I was very much surprised how poorly it was packaged for yes it was put in a Styrofoam container but none of the parts of the faucet were protected with any kind of plastic wrapping around the faucet itself and there were loose metal parts that can easily bounce around in the box causing other items to get scratched and another issue that I am not happy about is that the trigger on the head of the faucet is not protected and what I mean by that is my last kitchen faucet also had a trigger that you push to change the way the water sprays from the head but my old one had a rubber seal that completely sealed the button that is used to change the water spray pattern so that if you have greasy hands from working with food or if you have food on your hands from doing dishes and you go to change the water spray pattern the rubber seal on my old kitchen faucet presented food or grease from getting lodged in between the kitchen Fossett had and the buttons that change the water pattern but the new Delta kitchen faucet does not have any protective cover over the spray head buttons so I can easily see how grease or flower can come off your hands and get lodged in between the kitchen faucet had and the kitchen faucet buttons and I have no idea how difficult it will be to clean out from between the buttons on the kitchen faucet head of the unit...
nice looking faucet
October 28, 2014
nice looking faucet, and works well. My only issues are; the hose attached to the spray head is nylon braded vs. metal, the handle would have to be in a very specific position to shut off the water. Also, my contractor complained about the length of it pipe that goes through the counter. my granite counter is 3cm think, which is marginally too think for the size of the pipe on the faucet. he was concerned about the stability of the faucet, given how few threats were engaged.
because I really like the faucet in most ways
October 12, 2014
I wasn't sure how many stars to give this, because I really like the faucet in most ways. It looks great, love the pull-out, the finish (we bought it in 2011) is still flawless. However, it started to drip a year after purchase. I filed a warranty claim with Delta, and they sent a replacement valve- a tiny piece that probably would have cost about $3.00 if we bought it in a store. We then had the expense of paying a plumber to take the whole thing apart and replace it- so thanks a lot, Delta! It seems companies like Delta have little to lose by making guarantees (no drips) even when when the products will fail.

8 months old and the faucet end has begun to fail. Time to order a replacement head.
Love the look of this faucet
February 16, 2016
Love the look of this faucet, but it won't always switch from spray to flow. It gets stuck and takes a couple of minutes sometimes. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. Will keep for now, but will have to replace.

This faucet is driving me crazy!!!
October 4, 2017
As far as looks, materials, etc. go, this faucet is great. But the Touch2O feature is driving us absolutely nuts. Touching it doesn't always turn it on or off, the water stops running after a few seconds, the flow stutters on-off-on-off-on-off periodically or sometimes hot water won't come thru at all. It's truly maddening. We had another touch faucet in our previous home that worked with no problems for several years. I've been in touch with Delta's customer service and keep getting recommendations like "make sure no two wires are touching" or "make sure no wires are near any walls which may have pipes running in them" or "make sure the battery pack is not within 2 inches of any wall." The list is endless. We had to send them several pictures of the installation (which was done by a professional plumber BTW) and now they want us to flush the pipes to make sure there's no debris in them causing the problem and then take a bunch more pictures. We're not professional plumbers, so all this reconfiguring and flushing and testing is getting really old. If it wasn't a $300 faucet, I'd just disconnect the batteries and use it in manual mode like a regular faucet. But I paid for the Touch2O feature. If the problem turns out to be the faucet and it has to be replaced, I wonder who's going to pay for that installation??
Low Flow Water Restrictor makes this an awful faucet
June 17, 2017
I bought this faucet previously and liked it so much I purchased another. I hate this one - it has a water flow regulator in it. I am all for those but not in the kitchen where you need some force behind your water to clean dishes, push items into the disposal, etc. the water flow is so low it is nearly useless. I believe I am using more water because of it trying to get the job done! I purchased the delta wrench separately and when it arrives hope to take this apart and remove the offensive piece that keeps it from functioning well. if you buy the faucet buy the little wrench!
Don't buy Touch20 - it is junk
December 20, 2016
When it works, this is a great faucet. It is stylish and functional and the Touch20 IDEA is great. However, in actual use, it is awful. The installation is a pain as the faucet is very particular about how everything is set up. I had to get on the phone with Delta and redo the installation. I still do not know what changed the second time. Everything looked the same to me but at least it worked. The bigger issue for me is the poor design of the solenoid that controls the on/off functionality. After we had it installed about nine months, we noticed the water flow was decreasing when full open. I bypassed the solenoid and the flow was back to normal.I called Delta and after some confirmation troubleshooting, they sent me a new solenoid at no cost. While that is nice, I still had to get under the sink and re-install it, which is a minor pain.Four months later, the flow has been decreasing again. And again, bypassing the solenoid solved the problem. The solenoid is a piece of junk. Now I have to all Delta again to get a replacement.Oh...and the lights indicating hot or cold water have also failed. Not sure if that is a solenoid thing or something else.I gave it two stars because while the Touch2O feature is A PIECE OF JUNK, the regular faucet is quite nice. But I do not recommend you pay the extra for the Touch20 feature.
Low Flow Rate - Do Not Buy!
October 10, 2016
The item installs easily. (Getting the old one out may not be so easy.) It appears to be quite solid and is well rated in reviews. The only thing I did not like was the flow rate. It was less than my old unit. The old one was a 1988 Moen with a flow of 1.7 gal./min. The Delta flow is 0.9 gal./min.If I remove the spray head, the Delta is then 1.7 gal./min. as the Moen was with an aerator that was intended to reduce flow from 3.4 gpm.Said differently, the water pressure is quite adequate. One can see a flow restriction in the spray head. I do not know if it is removable. (Now I know, it is not removable.) If I had it to do over, I would choose another.I attempted help with Delta. They sent a new hose and spray which performed identically to the first. They said there were no flow restrictions that could be removed in the faucet. If this is your kitchen faucet, and you buy this model, you pretty much have to live with the low flow rate or buy another brand to replace it. If you buy another, I am not sure how you could be sure it would provide the advertised flow rate. Of course you would then be out the cost of both units.
the range between hot and cold is so tight that you're constantly adjusting it to get it to a good temperature. It is a nice loo
April 7, 2016
I'm not sure why this faucet rates so highly, I've bought two-the spray head on the first stopped working on the second day so there was barely any water getting through. The replacement continues to drip after it is shut off. In addition, the range between hot and cold is so tight that you're constantly adjusting it to get it to a good temperature. It is a nice looking faucet and the docking mechanism works well, as does the spray, but I'm not going to pay $200 for something that's going to drip every time I use it. I'm returning this one as well (Amazon was great for the first return) & I've ordered a different brand altogether - here's hoping that the third time's the charm.
Poor, overly complex design
December 28, 2014
It seems overly complicated to me. We have had it for almost a year, and I still can't get the hang of the temperature and flow control. The worst part, though, is the shut-off mechanism. From the start, it was tricky to get the handle in just the right place to turn it off completely. As time has gone by, that has become even harder. If the handle is not in precisely the right place - which requires some finagling - the faucet drips. The pull-out hose also causes it to drip if it isn't retracted in an exact manner. It's frustrating to have to "think" about turning a faucet on and off. It's partly our fault for not getting something simpler and more basic.

Nice look, but missing part critical to install.
September 15, 2017
I ordered this product because it sounded like the one I wanted. I unfortunately did not open the box right away as I was looking for a new black sink but had not found one I wanted. When I opened the box, the instructions said there was a face plate for the sink. It was not included. There was an insert where the plate should have been. Tried to contact the seller and received a bounce back on the address. Not happy the part was not included, but I probably should have checked the box sooner.
great product if you are flipping a house
June 23, 2017
great product if you are flipping a house. wont be your problem. it looks great but the spray always gets stuck and water wont come out. but for the price its not bad. if you do buy this faucet i would recommend that you never change it to spray mode. just keep the regular flow of water and it works great.
Didn't last.
April 22, 2017
It's very actrive looking, and looks just like the photo. After about a year of using it it will no longer switch back and forth between the way the water comes out. I'm very disappointed in the poor quality.

January 11, 2017
bought this product 4 months ago. it failed on the sprayer hose yesterday. you get what you pay for. Bought a Moen today, costs more but it is warrantied.
Look elsewhere for your kitchen faucet.
January 9, 2017
Same issue as many here. Faucet looks good and works great for a while but eventually the nozzle fails. When this happens the button hardly works and the flow is severely reduced. Time to get a new faucet from some other manufacturer before this one completely stops working.
This faucet is a good price but it's cheap
November 16, 2016
This faucet is a good price but it's cheap. The hose is too short and you have to manually shove the hose back in to retract it. Also the rubber sprayers on the faucet head keep spraying off to the side at times instead of straight down. It looks good but you can tell after some use it's not very well made.

No way to get the temp you want
July 17, 2017
It has three temperatures. Cold, Luke Warm and AS HOT AS YOUR WATER CAN EVER GET. Trying to find a temperature to wash your dishes will take longer than actually washing your dishes. I hate it. I hate it. I hate it. There's just no way to regulate the temperature to something you want . . . unless you want Cold, Luke Warm or FREAKING LAVA. Should have never gone with a handle-on-the-side model. It looks modern but works like crap.

March 24, 2016
This looks nice and I'm sure it is nice but after installing the faucet it leaks. It's unfortunately 3 days past the 30 day return window. I cant find any way to contact the seller to find a resolution. Unfortunately I wasn't able to install it until today. I will update if I find a resolution.
switch between spray and single flow is flawed - doesn't seem to work properly - leaks
October 9, 2015
I noticed right after it was installed, that the switch between spray and no spray button seemed like it barely would get pressed down hard enough to stop it leaking when I just wanted the single flow of water and not spray. Thought it would get worse and it has. Now only spray function works no matter how hard you have to press the button for the non spray option (always leaks now). Seems like an expensive faucet for the washer or whatever causes it to leak out of the side during the non spray option. Going to see if warranty covers it but since it seemed to not work great when I first bought it, maybe it was just a lemon from the start.
Defective product
June 3, 2014
The first thing I did when installing was put the nut on the threaded post to secure the faucet and only was able to get it on about an inch and then the threads were stripped, called the 800 number and was told they could not send a replacement part so I had to return the faucet. Ended up going to Home Depot and bought a faucet there for about $25 more. The box this product arrived in was badly damaged and the box the faucet was in was open and pieces were scattered in the shipping box. The box for the faucet was not packed well at all and had way to much room to be tossed around. It was just thrown in a bigger box with no padding. I think the reason the faucet was damaged and the putty was out of its container was do to poor packaging.
Read the 1 star reviews and beware...
February 3, 2013
The supply hose connection is garbage - doomed to fail. I wish Amazon required length of ownership on their reviews. I have owned this for 4 weeks and the quick connector fails (every time after the first time) and water sprays everywhere under your sink. I understand you have to order proprietary parts from Delta if you want them replaced. Forget about it.
love the look, hate the drip
October 29, 2012
I loved the look, but when we couldn't stop the faucet from dripping, we decided to return it rather than replace it with another Delta product. We paid a plumber to install the faucet, then paid to have it removed, then paid to have the new Moen faucet installed. All things considered, it wasn't a very good investment.

Handle became useless in about a year
October 22, 2017
This faucet is complete crap. I recommend that you stay away from this faucet which has a Vapsint logo on the valve housing. As others have noted, the spray control doesn't work. It is best to leave it in one setting and not change it because it will take 15 minutes of fiddling to get it back. The finish wore off the handle in a couple of places. But that is not the worst of it. The stem handle for the valve began to wobble a few months after we got it. It seemed like it could be tightened at first but that stopped working and it eventually became useless. Several months after that I discovered that it would unscrew if I pulled up on it while turning it and found that the threads were stripped. The metal must have been too soft because no undue pressure had been put on this handle.I contacted the company and just requested a new handle so I wouldn't have to rip out the faucet and replace it. They agreed to send me a handle but said it would show up in some number of weeks. I tried to get them to be a responsible manufacturer and send it faster but no go. In fact I never got it!The included video shows the problem with the handle. If you have one of these you might be able to fix it by creating a stem with good threads. The installation and removal had some tricks to them. The way they configured the bottom fittings make for a very tight fit getting the nut over them. It was a hassle to install, didn't work right, fell apart, and the vendor was unreliable just like the product. All in all a poor experience.
Looks good but doesnt last
August 19, 2017
Looks good but doesnt last. Stay away from these cheap Chinese plumbing parts here. You can't get parts and they don't last. There are no product names on this stuff. If any parts break you can't fix them. You can buy a new one from here or just buy a name brand one from a local store. I chose the local store but wish I had done it to begin with.

January 17, 2017
Hose little fitting that connects the hose leaks and nothing fixed it. Reached out to company two days ago, still no word. We've had to keep a bowl under sink ever since it was installed. Unfortunately we were waiting for remodel before we actually put it in so 60 days had already passed before we knew there was a problem. No good
DON'T Waste Your Money
November 23, 2016
This is a waste of money. Had it for 3 months and it's already broke. The water barely flows out. When you turn if off, the water very slowly turns off- unlike like a normal faucet. Because its made with cheap parts, it can't be fixed. Would NOT buy again or recommend.

November 3, 2016
Great looking - on looks alone it is a great faucet! Unfortunately, you have to use it. 6 months and the button breaks. 8 months and there is a leak. 10 months and now only water drips out with no pressure. The spout is made of plastic??? Do not wast your time or money. Now I have to buy a new faucet and pay again to have it installed!
