Nice Velcro Strap
August 5, 2017
Bought an inexpensive watch because it had Tritium markers for the hands and numbers. Boy do they light up well in the dark! And the watch just keeps on ticking. The watchband however was a sad affair. The leather cover of the tab end tore away and the Velcro eventually gave up the ghost. This new one is excellent! It was easy to install and it came with new pins. A great buy. I love it!
The perfect watch band
August 29, 2016
PERFECT! For the price of this watchband, it's amazing how great it is for the working man. I got this for my son because he is always breaking expensive watchbands...either the pins come out, or the "leather" wears at the wrong spot and the band breaks...so many small things that make the lives of expensive bands very short. But this band is perfect. It's adjustable and comfortable and the extra velco closures make the security of this band well worth the affordable price. Going to buy several more to keep in reserve.
Just what I wanted.
October 15, 2015
The product is as described and is perfect for my Timex Ironman. It's easy to affix the watch and comfortable when worn, as you can pull it snug or wear it comfortably slight, as you wish. I have a small wrist for a man - about 7" around - and if I try to pull it VERY tight, there's much overlap. Worn normally, it works perfectly.Footnote is: Once you get the old strap or band off your watch, you can affix and remove this one with your bare hands and a fingernail. It's just what I wanted for this watch, and I'd recommend it.
Very Nice Replacement Band
February 14, 2015
The Voguestrap comes with two pins, and they were an exact fit for my Casio AWG101-1A G-Shock watch. I ruined the pins on my watch taking off the annoying plastic band it comes with. Very comfortable band, I recommend it. Appears to be rugged enough to last a long time, too. No complaints.*update 20JUNE2015* The band is still very comfortable. Unfortunately, the Velcro is becoming weaker, and the strap end will come off on its own. This simply will not do. I have at times gotten the strap wet, and perhaps this is a sign that the band may not be as rugged as I initially suspected. Still, for the money it is tough to beat.
Great Watch Band, perfect for Military use!!
March 4, 2014
Great Watch Band, perfect for Military use!! I bought this watch band to replace the original band on my Timex Expedition with Vibrating Alarm function watch. It’s my favorite watch and still fully functional after 2 deployments so I am unwilling to let it go. I bought this band not expecting or hoping for much but it certainly aims to please. It’s strong, adjustable to different sized wrists (mine are kinda thin) and has a great overall look and accents the watch perfectly. It came with its own watch pegs just in case you lost yours (which would be subject to the size of the band as opposed to the size of your watch). Its machine washable and holds up well to constant use and Military operations. In short well worth the purchase and I’d certainly buy it again. Highly recommend to anyone just looking for a good rugged band for almost any watch.
Works well w/ Garmin 910XT Quick Release Kit
February 24, 2014
Works well w/ the Garmin 910XT QR Kit ( http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Forerunner-910XT-Quick-Release/dp/B006BACP6A ) and (somewhat redundantly) w/ the QR Kit and the Universal Bike Mount ( http://www.amazon.com/Garmin-Forerunner-Bicycle-Mount-Kit/dp/B000VK5BMQ ). Using this with the QR and Universal Mount kits reduces or eliminates stress on the QR mount and in theory should prevent some of the watch losses reported in some of the QR reviews. As to the strap itself, it's well-constructed and extremely comfortable. As noted in some of the other reviews here, the strap where the watch connects is exactly 20mm, and it will not fit watches with more narrow mounts; I'm guessing that the "16" in the description is a typo and that it should actually read "18-20mm".

Hope it proves as durable as my old ones
September 23, 2017
Had used SilverFoot in the past but could no longer find them so thought I'd give this a try. This one seems well made and fits my big old watch with the unusual case. Hope it proves as durable as my old ones.
I Highly Recommend This Product!
June 21, 2017
I can rarely find watch bands that will fit my wrists, and I have a reaction to the metal bezel of most watches and can't afford a solid gold watch (I'd gladly accept one as a gift if offered, though!). This, "The Band," watch band seems to be the solution. When I received it, I immediately put my American Legion watch on it and found the band very comfortable. I recommend this to anyone who needs a casual replacement band. It appears well constructed and is easily adjustable as my wrist swells and contracts throughout the day.
Great band, very versatile a little rough though.
March 14, 2017
I work with big machines and cargo all day so I needed something a bit more rugged than the silicone bands I used to get. After 4 bands that tore I decided on this one. I have to say it feels a little more plastic or nylon than I would have like but it gets the job done. The strap seems to be pretty rugged so far in the past couple weeks ive had it. Has a great range for sizing since I fit it over my sweater or jacket at times due to rain. I personaly would like a thicker material with less lenght to it but as what was described it came out great.
Yes, you too can finally be cool.....
February 15, 2017
Love this band, my new all time favorite, so comfortable and easy to set up. Turns any watch geeky or otherwise into rock god statis. It really is a must buy-own-have.The absolute best 8 bucks i think I've ever spent, i love amazon warehouse deals....love 'em!!!!Update: It's now june almost july 2017, i still love this band! Trillions of complements, still looks new. Would totally buy again.
Watch out for these! They are great!
July 16, 2016
Bought this to replace my old watch band. (Was replaceing the watch too with an exact same model)Watch is a Timex Expedition that I have worn for 20+ years. (Old model and new)
A fun band for fun people.
August 16, 2015
When people say,"I like that watch band!", I say, "Yeah, it's great, you know what they call it?" When they say, "What?", I just move my wrist to where they can read the tag. They always read it out loud, "The Band", and they always laugh, and so do I. This is a fun band, comfortable and infinitely adjustable within its range of size (with this band I've attached my watch to a 1-1/2 inch pill bottle, and to the middle of a two liter soda bottle, and it will fit cylinders or other shapes a little smaller and a little bigger. It will fit on your ankle or your calf if you want to, but it will be harder for you to show people the nice little name tag). Cost me about seven bucks, one of the least expensive bands to be found. Quit fussing around and just buy it.

Better than any other strap but needs a little tweaking.
July 9, 2016
I've worn this product before. It is very comfortable and durable. I have to use a lot of Deet on the Texas coast and that combined with sweat will eat a leather strap apart within a month. This strap takes everything I'm throwing at it but needs a variety of sizes. It wrapped around my wrist to the other side of the watch. One less inch length would have been perfect. Someone commented the "Sports Strap" writing was unnecessary. I agree.

January 26, 2016
Comfortable band! I use it with my Samsung Gear S2 as I wanted a comfortable athletic band that was 20mm and compatible with the S2 pins. The velcro is secure and the whole band feels comfortable even when typing on the computer for long periods of time.Typing on metal bands digs into your skin too much and it makes it uncomfortable. My only complaint is not with the band, but be aware if you plan on buying this with a smartwatch. The smartwatch may likely have a heartbeat sensor on the back that uses light to read your heartbeat from your wrist.Having this band on your watch covers that sensor by design.
nice wrist watch band
December 2, 2015
This is a well made band or Velcro strap as the case may be. However, if you have small wrists as my girl friend does. This band is way to big. The description of the size, lenght, is not great.Would cost me money to return it so it is going to good will.

June 26, 2015
Easy to install once you figure out how to compress the pins. The band seems also to whick well enough to not just collect moisture. If anything the band is a little long and therefore the end of the band can extend beyond the mating Velcro side, which means it sticks out a bit and can catch. I do not have a small wrist, so this could bother some.It is comfortable and I forget that I have it on. So it seems like the ideal active watch band.
Hold On Now.
May 30, 2014
If your watch band has fallen apart and you have easy access to the pins for removal, I guess this is a good all-purpose replacement band. But if you have arthritis in your hands and don't have easy access to the pins there is no way to get the watch onto the band. I purchased this for a watch that Has a band that is too small and I just don't like. I will have to wait for someone with better hands than me to try to get the watch onto the band.On the plus side, the fit seems good and looks like it could be worn on either wrist.
Does the job, a little fraying already though
October 13, 2012
I purchased this strap a month ago after 10 years of using regular plastic straps with my Casio Databank. I was looking for something that I could take on and off faster. This strap does the trick just fine; the velcro patch is about 2 inches long and has held admirably, and it was easily wide enough to accommodate my 16mm wide watch, and it looks like it could go as low as 12mm wide. Any smaller than that, though, and ths strap will be too big for you.I'm not giving it a perfect rating because it seems the stitching along the edges have already started to fray a bit. I'm not sure what this will mean for the longevity of the watchband itself, but it's definitely disheartening to see.

Great If You Have A Hard Time With Watchbands.
September 24, 2017
I Recently due to a health situation lost over 150 pounds in a few months and because of this my arms and wrists have become very thin and so thin my watch band would no longer rest properly on my wrist and would slide everywhere. Even a leather band could not be adjusted correctly.I saw these and decided to give them a try. Once you have your watchband off the watch and the pins back in place these bands simply slip a velcro piece through and you wrap the nylon band around your wrists to the snugness you want then fold over the section with the watch. With these bands I can get a snug fit and my watch is no longer rolling around and sliding on my wrist and the velcro is much easier in putting on and taking it off.
Nice wide strap and once properly put on it is ...
July 21, 2017
I had bought a puma chronograph watch on one of my trips to Europe not knowing that there was an issue with the rubber watch bands spontaneously disintegrating. Quick search on Amazon lead me to this. Nice wide strap and once properly put on it is a comfortable fit. That being said it is a bit of a hassle to put on but in my opinion understandable. There may be issues with longevity due to the construction materials used, however, I won't hesitate to purchase again.. I guess that's the point of making it cheap.
Great watch band for work, or play!
April 26, 2016
I bought this watchband because I'm a professional handyman and my watch takes a beating. Ergo...the band also takes a beating. It's constantly getting "caught" on something or other, getting covered with paint spatters, or dirt & grease. Metal bands get bent, don't "give" when they snag something (thereby scratching or cutting my wrist) and are a pain to clean. It took a few min to figure how to wear it (because it just wraps around wrist) but it will fit as tightly or loosely as you wish. And I just scrub it under hot water to get it clean again. I'm going to buy another, just in case I can't find it again.
pretty good idea
July 27, 2014
I really like this band . it fits good...i was expecting the watch to slide around on it but the thicker spring bars that are provided keep the watch i put on it in place so that wasn't an issue. the only complaint i have is the end of the web strapping is either glued treated or heat treated so it doesn't unravel. and i found that spot sharp and uncomfortable until i went at it with a small emery board to round out the stiff edge.. they could solve this by extending the cloth end they sew on the Velcro to the width of the band .. but its fine now and the overall quality is excellent
Secure and sturdy, but watch the size
January 16, 2014
Also, my watch takes a 16mm band, and I picked this up on the recommendation of another reviewer who said that they were able to use this on their 16mm watch by folding and bending it just right. With my watch (a Casio G-Shock), that just wasn't happening. I had to trim the velcro down to make it fit. It still gets the job done, but since I had to cut through the outer reinforcing stitch, it will probably cut down on the life span of the band. The band itself is quite functional, but tends to pick up lint. It's also wide enough that I feel like I'm wearing a luggage strap on my wrist, but it definitely gets the job done. This watch definitely isn't coming off on accident.
Best wide band for Casio Pathfinder on small, bony wrists
July 14, 2012
My new Casio Pathfinder PAW 2000 is supposed to be a "slim" version, but it still is very large. When worn with the original resin band, the watch's sharp plastic edges rubbed my 6" bony wrist raw. So I needed a replacement band. I first tried the Voguestrap, but it doesn't fit smaller wrists. I then ordered the Chums band; it solved my problem. While the Chums band is not as stylish as the Voguestrap, the Chums band fits a much wider range of wrist sizes (including my 6" wrist), and its wider, sturdier design provides a better platform to keep my Pathfinder from wounding me.

okay, but should work better than it does

opens easily, does not stay fastened. Watch has not fallen off my wrist yet, but I'm constantly reclosing the Velcro.
Probably OK
January 13, 2017
I'm disappointed that the strap that would hold my watch is elastic. I can't see that lasting long at all, but it's moot since I can't get the little pins out to change it.
Here is a fix for small wrists.
December 20, 2014
Previous reviews have highlighted the fact that this band fits poorly on small wrists. I fixed that problem by folding the top portion of the long end of the band back over itself. That reduced the length by about one inch. I fixed it in place by cutting a short tube from a small diameter bicycle tube and sliding it over the folded part. Not elegant but it works. If I could sew, that might be a better way to fix it. The band is on my Casio "Tough Solar" tide watch and works well.
Not for me.
October 27, 2014
This was short for my 8" wrist, making the fit awkward. I am not sure what wrist size would be ideal, as the plastic buckle (where you fold over the velcro strap) is very close to the watch face, putting the buckle on the bony side of your wrist, not the underside of your wrist. Given the positive reviews, it obviously works for many people, but not for me. Thank you, generous Amazon return policy!
This watch band is just not gonna work out for me...
July 12, 2013
There are two things wrong with this band that make it unusable, FOR ME.1) This band does not fit my watch that has a 16mm watch band (see my measurement in the customer photos).2) The bind is way to big for my wrist, even pulled as small as it will allow. The "hook portion of the velcro is too small, and there is too much "loop".Like I said, FOR ME! So I gave it 3 stars because not everyone is like me. My watch is a smaller one, and I am a woman. It was very comfortable when I tried it on, and I do like the way it looks. If you have a watch that fits an 18-20mm band, AND are a someone with beefier arms, this would be a great product for you.
Voguestrap TX51012BK Watchband
July 15, 2012
The watchband seems to be well made. This watchband feels confortable on my wrist. The length is 8.75 inches or about 23cm, that's usable length for arm diameter. This band just barely fits my wrist with no slack and no space for adjustment. If you are a stout person with large wrist you might skip this product. This type of band will absorb sweat when working or exercising and more so if worn too tightly. My nylon watchbands get a bath with simple green, once a week, when worn every day. A good band for those with medium wrist sizes. All products of this type should state the length in the details.

The 80s version was better
August 19, 2017
Not as nice as the ones I used in high school in the mid 80's. They have been redesigned to use less Velcro. The are more difficult to put on now and line up properly. It was only about $7 so no big deal but I probably will not use it and will probably never buy another one unless the come up with a better design. I miss the old ones, to bad they had to mess up a perfectly good watch band with a terrible redesign to save money on Velcro.

July 31, 2017
Not what I expected. The band goes over and under the band post all 2 piece as opposed the the post going through the end of the band. It will work.
Would be a 5 star if it was easier to put on my wrist
August 27, 2016
Like some other reviewers I was disappointed when I first installed the band. I prefer Velcro bands for several reasons, primarily because they fit better. While this band is comfortable to wear it was a PITA to get it on the first time. I'll check out the web for suggestions on putting it on my wrist. Seems sturdy enough and hopefully it will last awhile.

July 21, 2016
I have a thin wrist so it is a very long band and a little hard to put on. it looks nice and once put on will not fall off
Dissappointing
December 20, 2013
This read like the watch band for me but I was annoyed within 30 seconds. This strap doesn't positively retain your watch body and it takes two hands plus another body part to put on because you have to wrap the strap around your wrist almost one full wrap before you can apply tension, like putting on an elastic ("Ace") bandage. The Band simply loops through the pins of your watch so if you were to remove The Band from your wrist with your watch in place, hold The Band by the wide end and swing, your watch would fly off. This was an Amazon Prime Free Return item so it was worth a try but there is a better watch band out there for me.

I'll keep it, however...
March 9, 2017
The product I received looks nothing like the product pictured. I chose to buy this product for its functionality as well as it's appearance, especially the padded mesh underband that is under the watch. That being said, the band and velcro appear to be durable and I'm assuming the previous comments about it's flaws have lead to a product change. I just wish you would have updated your photos.
Comfortable, but doesn't stay on
November 14, 2016
The strap itself was comfortable, but the Velcro was weak. My watch actually fell off a few times while I was walking. I had a replacement sent to me, but it ended up being the same. So I ended up returning this item.
(The old strap's velcro is still good! ) I'm returning it
October 29, 2016
This is a replacement for a fairly worn out Voguestrap purchased a year ago. The old strap still works, but the cloth is wearing out, which is understandable as I wear the watch constantly at work. The new straps velcro is so weak that it opens at the slightest touch. (The old strap's velcro is still good!) I'm returning it.
Too Scratchy
May 9, 2016
This would be a great watch band except for the materials used on the side of the band. The main strap seems to be neoprene which is great. Unfortunately there is some kind of scratch nylon sewn down the sides (presumably for cosmetic reasons.) This nylon took a week to get used to, and still occasionally makes me need to scratch...I had already thrown my old watch band away when I put this one on, and I'm too cheap to buy a new one before this one wears out.
like you wash your hands for example
October 23, 2014
Does what you would expect - one unexpected problem though is if it gets wet, like you wash your hands for example, the band absorbs the water and stays wet all day... causing it to mess your skin up, smell bad, and be uncomfortable.
Scratchy and opening up
July 17, 2013
The very end of the strap doesn't fasten down completely letting some of the sharp Velcro sticking out and so of you put that area anywhere near skin, like your girlfriend or wife, you will get a quick painful reaction from them. It is a design flaw that needs to be adjusted. Also, since the very tip of the strap doesn't "grab" down completely, it catches on things and pulls open.I wouldn't buy this one again... next time I will try another.

a thin wrist like mine, the problem is more difficult
May 25, 2015
OK, but difficult to put on the wrist. The watch slides onto the thin part of the band but the thin part velcros to the wide part. So you have to manually hold the wide part so it is at the right tightness, then carefully press the watch down and then the thin part past the watch down to close the velcro. Need dexterity and in my case, several attempts to get it all right. If you have a "fat" wrist, the problem is simpler, a thin wrist like mine, the problem is more difficult.

Well made but the pins...
December 5, 2016
Pins are not strong enough. I put it on, little loose and I bent my wrist once, the pin shot out and lost it forever. I also thought this had a permanent mounting spot but it doesn't. The band has a skinny part the runs under the pins (thus having the leverage to pop them out) instead of permanent mounting loops like it looks like in the picture. And the band is wide and will limit wrist movement. Don't use while working out

Seriously? This is about the hardest band to put on that I have ever used. I'm 61. I finally went back to my old worn out Tech Swiss band. I guess I'll buy another one of them. They only last a year and cost, with shipping, three times as much, but they are comfortable and easy to put on. (The OD green band fell apart in a couple of months; buy the black band.)
Low quality. Itchy.
August 7, 2014
Awful low quality band. Arrived with lots of loose frayed threads. Something about the low quality nylon or velcro was really itchy and bothersome while wearing the watch. It didn't look like it would last that long but I can't speak directly to its longevity because it was too itchy to continue to wear so I threw it away. Strap is wide, but the velcro just in the middle made it unstable with the heavier watch I put on it. Wrap around design without a loop on it makes it difficult to put on snugly.
