Fit my chainsaw, so cheap it's not even worth messing around with sharpening my old chain. Honestly. I expect to get a new chain about every 2 years.

Came on time. Great product. Fits my cheap electric chain saw. Most important, after hurricane Irma, I have been sawing large palm and other trees that fell across road with little difficulty. Sharp; great timing.

This new chain makes cutting the wood so effortless. I had been sharpening my old chain for too long and it dulled quickly. A new chain has made the cutting logs job so much easier.

Works great, fits Remington electric saw with 52 links. Price was half the in-store price.

The chain that came with my electric saw from Harbor Freight got dull when I came across a rock inside of a tree truck, yes inside it. This new chain has more chain cutters and they seem to cut better than my original chain. So I highly recommend this chain.At first I was kind of confused about how to get it untangled in order to put it on, but I just kept working with it with leather gloves on and got it so that it could be put on. Always use heavy gloves because of the sharp cutters.

After using the previous chain until it would no longer hold the edge I got this chain. Cuts through oak like a knife through butter. Definitely worth it.

This is an OEM standard chain and a good choice for most users needing this size. I've purchased a number of these for my 359. They cut well, have low kick-back. You can expect good performance and long life if kept well-oiled, out of the dirt and don't pinch it felling a tree or big branches.

Excellent product !! Love that we were able to order this on Amazon from the seller and have it delivered right to our door without having to battle traffic and make the 1 1/2 hour round trip just to make it there to purchase, let alone the time to locate it in the store or even checkout. I've been using the Home Depot Oregon chains, this is much better. The Cut is MUCH sharper, cleaner and faster.No more HD for me.

Great chain, only takes a second to ruin it...scrape a rock and see.455 Rancher - 4 years of abuse and about 8 chains, 2 bars, 1 spark plug...still trying to break it so my wife will let me by something more powerful. No luck yet, thanks Husky.

What a difference! A neighbor had a 12" diameter branch pulled off a tree by a moving truck. I had just received my new chain and tested it out by cutting up the fallen limb. Worked so well and I did not think my previous chain was all that bad. This made me realize just how I had been suffering (and risking binding and kick backs).

This was used to cut down three trees. We also did a lot of trimming of those downed trees to make them more manageable.

I've got a pair of Husqvarna 455 Ranchers. They're good saws. This chain cuts well but there is nothing special about it. I can get other chains for this that cut much faster, but in return are not quite as safe due to the design. Just sharpen it with every tank of gas and so long as you keep it away from dirt and rocks it'll serve you well.

I've owned a few of these chains and have had pretty consistent results. I've had to replace a couple, once due to me hitting a stone on the ground when cutting felled wood and another time when the chain jumped off the bar and struck the metal safety tab on the bottom of the power head. I may have replaced one more due to wear - The one that was replaced due to wear sort of dulled rather quickly when cutting wet/green wood. I've noticed that dry/seasoned wood tends to be less "costly" on the chain. Easy to sharpen but I've noticed that the new chains definitely cut better than chains that have been sharpened (either due to my inability to correctly sharpen or maybe that's just the way it is.)

My only problem was that there were two different chains that fit Homelite 14 inch saws and I ordered the wrong one first.

It is a little too tight for my Craftsman electric 14" saw and I have not been able to reduce the adjustment enough to compensate. I think it will wear in, but looks like meanwhile I must find a way to ease the tension up before using the saw.

I like it even though it is roughly 3" at least larger than the factory size. Although it works the chainsaw is set to its max position and it barely works.

Decent chain. Dulls very quickly compared to my old chain. It is a safety chain which I wish was clearly marked on packaging. Will not be buying this again.

I wish I'd realized when I bought it that this was the "safety chain". Works great as a spare, which is what I wanted it for anyway, but not what I thought it was, maybe I just didn't read the description close enough. Conceptually I understand how it can be safer, but I've never had a problem with kick back using my saw, and it doesn't cut as fast.

New chains always cut nicely but I am not really impressed by the quality. It seemed to wear and stretch more easily then the original chain. I will try another brand next time and compare. This chain may be just as good, I really don't know yet.

Son installed chain on the chain saw, however, will not stay on the bar of the saw. He will look at again this week.

Would not fit the bar on my saw despite ordering the correct item.

This is a safety chain which is too slow. The rakers are extremely large which means you would need to take a grinder to them to make this more aggressive. So unless you're an inexperienced user, find yourself an aggressive chain.

Product came in unmarked plastic bag. The manufacturer could not be identified. Not sure if it was the Oregon product I ordered or a "knock off" of inferior quality.

It works if you sharpen it every day. Not good for a hardwood. Maybe ok for a pine\poplar - like species.

For a Homelite it should have 53 teeth not 32

I purchased this chain for my Husky 455 Rancher. I was in a hurry and just needed to put the order in... I saw the Husqvarna brand and the listing said it would fit my saw.... so I ordered it. I have a huge Maple tree that I needed to cut up so instead of sharpening the chain on my saw as I have been doing, I decided to put this new chain on the saw. When I took the old chain off (the original to the saw) I saw that it was labeled 47.... this new one is labeled 80. At the time I wasn't sure what those numbers meant. Apparently.... the H80 chain is a safety chain designed to limit kickback. Well it also limits cutting. Frankly, the old dull original chain cut better than this brand new chain. My saw originally came with the H47 chain and always cut beautifully, and while I suppose it may be a bit more dangerous, I have never had any issues with kickback. I do take precautions such as always having a firm grip on the saw and I try to keep my body out of line with the saw etc...I also wear chaps and a helmet with face shield and ear protection. I have since bought a few new H47 chains and they are like night and day over this H80.... if you are going to buy this safety chain, you may as well also buy a cheap underpowered saw to go with it because that is what it will feel like you have.

Very disappointed to see the "safety" rakers! This was not at all clear in the description. I would not have bought them...

Chain broke after cutting for about an hour.

It wear out to fast. I wouldn't buy again.

This is a safety chain which means i won't be able to file down the depth gauges when i sharpen it myself. Not what i was after.

Stays sharp for 30 seconds

Seems to be okay product. Supposed to fit a Homelite saw with 14" bar, but it is couple of links too short. Sent back for refund.

Broke after 2 uses

It was advertised this oregon chainsaw chain was for my poulan electric 14" chain saw.When received was to large and returned it for a refund.

Does not work on homelite EL-14. 1.5" too long.

Beware that you cannot return this item if does not work. I ordered this instead of an 18 inch chain. It was never opened, but still not returnable.

was prefabricated in size than ordered; I tried to remove studs to resize it; but was impossible.

It is the cheaper chain with the stamped raker.

well used it on cutting one tree and the chain broke and I wont ever buy the Husqvarna chain again cause it was not worth the money I paid

First time we put this on our Husqvarna 455 rancher & used it, some of the teeth broke. They will not let me return or exchange it!! I am not happy at all & very disapointed!!

This is a safety chain!!!!Not a standard chain! It is a special low-kickback chain, the kind with the hooked depth guides (the ones that can't be ground down after multiple sharping iterations.)This should absolutely be in the product description, this was a waste of my time.It should be noted that this is the same stock chain that comes with the Husky Rancher 455 and some others. If you are looking for that exact chain (and most people are not) than this is it. Most people have little use for these. "Rancher" or "Farm" entry type saws typically only have enough power to make kick-back a moderate concern. This same information can be read in your owners manual. What is driving this is liability.The Husqvarna H47-72 Chain Loop would be a choice for clean wood, but it needs to be noted the Husqvarna has been bought out by Pullman. So for me the ONLY real choice for saw blades is Stihl brand now.
