Excellent deal! Comfortable
July 12, 2017
Excellent deal! Comfortable, sturdy bed. Easy to inflate - plug it in and push a button. Easy to deflate - same way. With sheets and blankets on it, its like a regular bed. Then folds up into a bag for storage till my next visitor. I can't believe I almost spend $300 on one of these before I found this.
Great quality and comfort
January 9, 2017
This inflatable bed is very easy to set up, well made, and comfortable. The electric pump is very fast so you can't leave the bed when you put air in or it will over inflate and possibly burst. The seams on this airbed are tight and the bed deflates very little even after being inflated constantly; I've been using this bed for about two weeks since moving (waiting for delivery of my new bedroom set - weather delay) and I haven't had a bad night of sleep. I think I've had to add air maybe three times; I like firm mattresses.
GREAT bed for the cost. !!!
October 12, 2016
This is a great bed for the price. I have a queen that Is amazingly comfortable. I love the DURA BEAM and it makes all the difference!. The height is essential because even if if deflates a bit during the night you are not laying on the floor. When fully inflated it is sturdy and I think two people (on the queen)could sleep easily on it without disturbing the other. My bf is using the twin right now as a temp bed while we do some remodeling in another house.. So far it seems to be working. :>)
Been sleeping on it since day 1 and it's been a month and still all good!
May 18, 2016
Been sleeping on it since day 1 and it's been a month and still all good! I use this as my daily/nightly mattress and I k of you're not supposed to use them like that, they're made for random use. But this is my only bed and I've been sleeping on it nonstop for about a month and I have to add a little air to it maybe once a day if not once every 2 days. They do stretch out over time. That's expected. I'm 150 lbs or so and I don't let anyone sit on it or lay on it with me. I don't want to mess it up or put unnecessary pressure on it. I'm not sure what the max weight limit is for it but I don't want to test it. Decent travel bag it came with too and a patch kit. Airs up and deflates pretty quickly. I really like that it's tall. I have used the normal air beds that are low to the ground and I now dislike them after using this raised one as it has the height of a real bed with mattress and box spring. No complaints here.
Comfortable and well made
October 18, 2015
I bought this recently and used it couple of times already. Like the product description, it takes about 4 minutes to fill up and works well. It did lose a few amount of air on the first use but it wasn't that noticeable for me. Others have reviewed it saying it loses a lot of air and required to fill it up in the middle of the night, but that didn't happen to me. Maybe they got a faulty one. It says in the product specification that it is normal for it to lose some air in the beginning for vinyl to stretch. 18" high is pretty good height and it didn't really give me a back pain or anything. I don't use it as an everyday bed but for when needed this comes in handy. i believe it's fairly priced too. i would definitely recommend it.
Great for camping, guests
October 10, 2015
We bought two twin mattresses to use for camping and when guests stay, and so far we've gotten good feedback! We paired ours with a foam topper and mattress pad which helped add a little softness. They inflate quickly and are easy to fold and deflate. We bought two twins rather than a single queen because we thought that would reduce some of the annoyance from your partner moving in the night (as air mattresses move with you). Be sure to deflate your mattresses when not in use, as I've read that keeps them from getting lumpy. As an aside, these can be inflated with a hand pump for camping. It takes a little time and effort to inflate, but they're great when the alternative is a rocky ground!

February 10, 2017
I purchased the Intex pillow rest raised twin size inflatable air bed for an emergency visit to my sister's home. The bed was ordered a few days in advance and was waiting on me when I arrived. It was very late into the evening when I opened the box and immediately set up the bed within a few minutes without a problem. It was extremely easy and amazed both my sister and me as it practically set itself up once it was plugged in and the dial was turned to inflate. I was so impressed and I plan to purchase additional beds for my own home to accomodate guests. The bed was comfortable. My mother, who suffers from dementia, arose during the night and came into my room and got on the bed with me. Luckily we are both small women and we both slept well on the bed. Our combined weight would be about 210 pounds and the bed held both of us without a problem. I highly recommend this bed to anyone who needs an extra bed. I slept on the bed for approximately two weeks and did not wake up tired or achey.

December 14, 2016
Great guest bed (and bed to banish the significant other to in times of turmoil)We've had this bed for over 6 months now and it has never leaked - we keep it inflated all the time. Only periodically do we have to refill a little air and there have been no issues working the pump. The bed stays firm overnight as we've never had to re-pump air into this bed the following morning.I loved this bed so much I purchased the queen sized version of it when that went on sale. Looking forward to upgrading to that bed
VERY COMFORTABLE!!
September 6, 2016
Great bed. Very comfortable. We went camping recently and were SOOO uncomfortable sleeping on the ground as we only had 1 inflatable mattress and everyone was fighting over it. So I bought 2 of these during Amazon Prime Day. Shortly after, my son had several friends sleep over and they camped in our yard. The beds were PERFECT. I love how elevated they are and the pillow feature is a bonus as I don't have to run around trying to find extra pillows for everyone. The bed is very comfortable and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that the pump is internal. I was ALWAYS losing pumps so now I only buy inflatable beds that have the internal pump and plug and all you have to do it plug it in. Great buy! Very happy with the purchase and glad I bought 2.
Great Guest Bed
July 13, 2016
My family has purchased two of these airbeds during the past 5 years and both are still being used. The first unit was used as a guest bed when the number of guests exceeded our bed count - on average, the unit was utilized five times per year without incident. The internal pump makes inflation and deflation a breeze. The construction is sturdy and the internal pump is very much appreciated as there is no other hardware to get lost when the airbed is not being used and is packed away. We were so impressed with the first unit, that a second unit was purchased for our vacation home. One great feature of these units is that when they are deflated and folded, they actually fit into the carrying case that are provided.Feedback from those who have used the airbed has been positive; good support and comfortable night sleep.
No, it is NOT leaking y'all!
June 18, 2016
Excellent value. I was confused by reading the customer reviews on this. They were either, "it's awesome," or, "it's awful due to leaking." So I decided it was worth a try. After it arrived, I inflated it. It began to become deflated over a day. I wondered if it was leaking or stretching. I refilled. It slowly deflated over a day. Again, I wondered if it was leaking or stretching. A third day, it deflated and I refilled. I've left it up for a week. It is no longer deflating. Therefore, I would say that the material has to stretch out. It is NOT leaking, and the material has to STRETCH! This is exactly what the card in the box tells you. Be patient. Give it a try. It's a great air bed and a great price. People need to give things a chance.
Drum Corp Mom says buy it!
January 20, 2015
So fantastic I bought a second one! Easy inflate and deflate, stores beautifully and stays inflated all night. My son and I use these to sleep on cold gym floors while we are living in schools during drum corp season. They are high enough off the ground we never get cold and set up is a FAST piece of cake. Stop looking....you won't find anything nicer and more reliable for the price!

Still Going Strong
November 12, 2017
I bought two of these to help in the process of moving. They've lasted pretty well through a few weeks of use in one spot, being shoved back into their bag and squished in the trunk of a car for weeks in summer heat, and then used again in another spot until beds came. Recently pulled them out again when people came to visit -- they still fully inflate and stay that way through most of the night (may have to pump a bit of air in once after a few hours -- and they seem to take a lot of weight, had a few people sitting on them at once at some points). I can't speak to the longevity, since it's only been about five months that I've had them, but they've served their purpose. And for the low price, what more could I ask? Some cons:- it smells really bad at first, there's an overwhelming chemical/plastic smell, so I'd take it out at least a day before using - it does go away.- it's kind of high, so if you have stability problems or fear even minor heights, I'd pick a shorter blow up.
Super Comfortable and Big
December 28, 2016
Fills up in less than ten minutes. Very comfortable and really keeps you high off the ground.Manufacturer suggests you inflate this and keep it full for several hours prior to sleeping on it...Would give it a five but have not had it long enough..Motor is also very quiet however the cord is not that long. Motor is located at the foot of the mattress so plan on possibly using an extention cord if your outlet is not located at the foot of this mattress.
Height is nice, pump is great (and scares cats)
December 8, 2016
Built in pump works great but scares the cats (is that good or bad?). The bed is comfortable and the increased height is really nice. The instructions about letting it stretch and temperature changes making it seem like it's leaking are dead on. There was definitely a break-in period when it was new where I had to add air somewhat regularly--that seemed to settle down after 3 or so uses. If the temperature drops a lot it's going to get a little soft--that's just physics. I recommend locating it close to an outlet so you can top off as necessary.
Guest Air Bed
December 2, 2016
Purchased this twin sized airbed for Christmas guest. Read the instructions, which say to inflate and leave bed up about three days, before using to test for firmness and ensuring not leakage. Today is day two and so far, everything seems fine. No odor, appears not to leak. Think this might be a good purchase. I will keep you posted should anything change. Amazon did not deliver on the date offered, some sort of delay. If you want a bed, give yourself plenty of time to order and test.
Awesome mattress for camping, just not for home.
July 11, 2016
Last night I slept on this mattress, and I was more comfortable than when I camp, though less comfortable than when I sleep on my Sleep Number air bed at home. My bed is a REALLY old Sleep Number product, so while it doesn't compare to their newer stuff, it still does better than this air mattress for sleeping at home.I bet that if I stuck a pillow top on this mattress and found some way to weigh it down so it stays in place better, then it could compare to my current bed.
... onto hardwood flooring in our apartment it is a pretty comfortable air mattress
July 6, 2016
Aside from it being very squeaky with every move while on it being plastic directly onto hardwood flooring in our apartment it is a pretty comfortable air mattress. My favorite part is the built in air pump but that could be a double edged sword when it finally blows its last blow. I'm assuming that will render this air mattress useless but until then it's good stuff and was a great deal. We picked it up off Amazon. Fits queen sheets well and the way it was made it holds them on at the corners and the ends and sides well too.

Good for having company over - you won't mid sleeping on it yourself
August 30, 2016
I read reviews of people who slept on this mattress every night, and while I wouldn't go that far, I would say it's great for having company over. If you're like me and give up your own bed to your guests and sleep on the air bed, you won't get a bad night's sleep. It holds its air pretty well, and it has the electric inflate / deflate feature. The only downside is you usually want to fill it up before you need it. If you fill it up right when you go to bed, you'll wake everybody in the house, because the fan is by no means quiet. A final note: the bed has to stretch the first night or two. It will need to be re-inflated during the night, probably once.

July 15, 2016
This mattress inflates easily and is sturdy my 8 year old tried it out and loved it. An adult could sleep fine on it, too, it is definitely made of strong material and stays inflated very well. The only drawback is that the pump and the mattress together are heavier than I thought they would be, so if you're packing for a trip it's a bit of a pain. It is also hard to refold the mattress without doing it carefully (much more suited to a very patient adult!). My main issue with this isn't the mattress but the pricing. I bought it on a lightning deal for $25.99 and with a regular prices stated as $32.80. Then as I went to do this review I see the regular price is actually $26.90. So I didn't even save a whole dollar. Very disappointing, Amazon.
Love the built in pump
June 18, 2016
Fills up very fast! Love the built in pump. Didn't loose air while sleeping at all. I took a star off simply because of deflating. It seems there are chambers, and once a couple are completely empty, the pump will just whine. While there is still air. I had to turn it off, fold and sit on the mattress to move the air, then turn it back on. Not horrible, just something I'd assume wouldn't happen. But, it wouldn't discourage me to recommend this to a family member by any means. Used it a few times already!
Just about as expected; a little small
April 15, 2015
So far, so good. It's holding air, which is more than I could say for the last one of these air mattresses that I ordered from an Amazon seller. However, I was refunded for the leaky one so I cannot really complain too much.Fully inflated, this is a bit smaller than a standard twin mattress. I'm 5'8" and about 165 pounds, and would not have wanted anything smaller; anyone bigger than me might want to go with a full size unless you never move while sleeping. No real room to turn over or adjust much at night, but these aren't meant to be a permanent sleeping solution so that's okay.I never quite understood the raised-pillow "feature" that air mattresses started including some years back. I mean, I have my own pillow to use which is infinitely more comfortable than laying my head on the plasticky mattress material where my face will sweat all night. I would be fine if the mattress was flat all the way across, and did not push my pillow even higher than normal on the raised-pillow end. I guess I could always swap ends and have my feet slightly raised instead...Tip: I discovered is any air mattress is MUCH more comfortable if you toss a cheap foam mattress pad (I like the "egg crate" style) on top, then put sheets on over that. The extra layer of foam/fabric also cuts down the on sweating on these mattresses, as they do not absorb any moisture otherwise. You'd think I have a chronic sweat condition by the way I mention the problem in this review... but that's really not the case! :)
Worth it but with some limitations... good for warm weather, less so for cold weather
July 2, 2014
My husband and I had this shipped to my in-laws house ahead of our trip to visit them over thanksgiving. They have a smaller house and not enough beds for us and our son. This was for my husband and I to sleep on for the week. We are 43 and 44 and I have back and neck issues. For an air mattress, it was a decent night's sleep but there are short-comings.PROS-------+ includes a pump and fills quickly+ Uses standard size sheets - Queen in our case+ more cost effective than getting a hotel room for the week+ easily deflated and stored for another usage+/- relatively comfortable... but I think 5 days was really enough for my bad back... my husband was good with all 7 days and he's a normal, middle-aged guy. We obviously prefer our Memory Foam mattress at home but this was decent.CONS-------- the mattress air is cold so November in Arkansas, you really need blankets on the bottom and the top or your body heat gets absorbed by the mattress through the sheets (think like an unheated waterbed of the 70's & early 80's)WHY DID WE DO THIS for 7-nights consecutively? Rather than incur the cost of a hotel room and the difficulties in coordinating for the day each day, we chose to spend the hotel-money-savings on some things for my in-laws (they are on a fixed income) and it was well worth it.
Works well for SHORT term use.....
August 24, 2012
This bed was used daily for maybe a month and did start to lose a bit of air during the night, although nothing that you couldn't either sleep through or refill. It was then packed away for a few months and then brought back out again to use almost daily for several months. Again, it would slowly lose air while you were sleeping on it, so by the morning it was definitely softer. And to attempt to find exactly where the leak is coming from is yet another difficult task. If you are lucky enough to find and repair it, great, but we haven't had luck in that department. We then packed it away for about 7 months, brought it back out to use in a guest bedroom and by then the bed would deflate even more noticeably and quicker so you had to fill it during the night and hope that it would hold. But the piece de resistance or, I should say, the final nail in the coffin was one of the seams on the top portion of the mattress popped so there was a huge cylindrical lump running the length of the mattress. If a small child could handle laying on half of the mattress I guess you could live with it, but not an adult. So, the mattress is toast. All in all, we maybe were able to use it a total of 7 or 8 months (and this is with it not holding all of its air during most of this time). So, if you need something for camping or temporary guests, etc....then I would say you will get your monies worth, but don't expect ANY air mattress to last you a year or years and not have issues with losing air.If I had to purchase another air mattress, I would still stick with the Intex brand as these are considerably more affordable than the Aerobed brand, which we have also used and found they lose air at just about the same rate or even worse.

A bit tippy
June 22, 2017
I bought this for my parents so that when I went to visit with my family we would all have a "bed" to sleep in. I gave it only three stars because if you roll too close to an edge (for the twin size at least) the whole thing starts to hip. Our solution was to slide one edge up against the wall and place a blanket folded up the long way under the other end to hold it steady. This seemed to work okay but it made me wish that I purchased the queen or the full. Other than that it is reasonably comfortable, and it blows up very easily.
Excellent quality but too small for adult to sleep on
March 5, 2017
The bed is excellent and quality is great. Blows up fast and fairly quietly. However the actually part of the bed that supports an adults body is too small. Get the Double or Queen size if you're buying this for an adult to sleep on. I also own the queen size and its awesome, 5 star.
Two beds, two leaks
July 22, 2016
Comfortable bed but does not hold air long. This is my second Intex airbed and the first one leaked so bad that by the end of the night, it was almost completely deflated. I bought a second one and it holds about 3/4 of the air for 24 hours and then needs to be inflated. No obvious leaks in the mattress so there is no way of patching or determining where it is leaking from. Use strictly indoors and handled gently. It is very comfortable though when fully inflated.
Almost Perfect
May 20, 2016
This is the highest quality air mattress I've ever owned. I have previously been using double high queen sized air mattresses from the big box camping section. This mattress blows those away in quality. It holds its air and shape better than other mattresses I've owned. I had to let a little bit of air out because it was too firm!! I didn't use the included pump since I was camping with it. I used my regular rechargeable pump. The surface material is pleasant.Unfortunately, I have to give this 3 stars because of the rocking problem. I think it is too tall for the width, and that makes the whole thing rock side to side whenever you roll over on it. I didn't feel like it was going to fall over, but it was definitely awkward.
Received mine with holes in it
November 10, 2015
Only reason I'm giving it 3 instead of 5 starts is because I received mine with a couple little holes in it. I blew up the mattress and it is very, very comfortable, but it deflated after a couple hours and then it when I noticed the holes. I don't think the company will take the mattress back because of certain laws but I also will not order from them again since I received mine damaged. It's a shame because it really is a comfortable bed, but I also wasted $50 so that's that.
nice, but would buy the double next time.
July 5, 2014
It is ok. The twin side wants to rock from side-to-side due to the width. I wanted a twin for the space, but would buy a double the next time to reduce the rocking when you turn. Other than that, it is well made and easy to inflate.

Convenient but not durable
October 7, 2017
It was very functional for 4 months of half time use at temporary housing. I would sleep on it 4-5 days and leave it inflated for 2-3 days. It only lost a little air, requiring "topping up" about once a month. It was only for sleeping. The nature of an air mattress made it unsuitable for sitting up in bed. It was too bouncy and too light. But it was definitely a better sleeping surface than any conventional couch. After 4 months, it developed a lengthwise bubble. Apparently, an internal baffle had separated and two air channels became one. This new channel was higher than the adjacent channels. At the customary air pressure, I would roll off the mattress to the side. At low air pressure, there was no support - like a hammock. I slept on the well-padded carpet for 2 weeks. The mattress was inexpensive and convenient. Delivery and disposal were easy. I will try to find a compact foam pad before I buy again.
Great bed! I am impressed! At least for the 1st week. After than, it constantly goes flat.
August 14, 2017
original reviewGreat bed! I am impressed! One of my cats has claimed it and she now sleeps with me.She has never done this before. I assess the best is also that comfortable for her :)after just one week of use, it will longer hold air. It must be aired up every few hours or sizable deflation occurs. Not really good to sleep on if you plan to sleep for more than two hours. The reviews either seem to be really really good, or one star. So I assess that it is a supply issue.I am getting ready to return it.
Lousy Long-term Air Mattress, But an Ideal Short-Term Use Air Mattress
June 29, 2017
The airbed was a fantastic price (~$28 ) for a twin sized air mattress at the time that I bought it. I had originally bought it for brother to use when he comes to visit, and it worked perfectly for him since he was the first user!! However since then, we have had a lot of friends come stay for variable amounts of time and use that mattress. I have noticed that now, as the person sleeps on it, it loses enough air during the night such that they have to either super-over inflate the mattress before bed in order to have a decent nights sleep, otherwise they will end up in a semi deflated mattress at 7am in the morning. Now I have searched high and low for the leak in the mattress, so that I can tape it or stymie its progression of losing air, but I have not been successful at all in finding a hole and I am starting to believe that the built in pump is the perpetrator. I don't know this for a fact but its my best guess and I hope this will be a helpful review to others who have been using this mattress long term and have noticed that they have the same issue.I am also aware that I spent hardly any money on this mattress and for that I am grateful for the fact that after a year of pretty solid use it is still mostly doing its job. That is why I have given it a 3 star review on amazon rather than a lower one, however my true review rating is a 3.5 since I think that is a good short term air mattress but a lousy long term one. I think that next time I will buy a cot or some other form or extra bedding that is far more useful in the longterm.
as it was feeling less comfortable last night
June 3, 2016
I have a variety of sleep issues... one of which is on on-call rotation at work which makes loud sirens go off on my phone at all hours for a full week. I got this to turn our spare room into a separate bedroom for the sake of my marriage. I selected it because the reviews confirmed it should handle much more than I weigh; as my weight was a concern....I've had it for almost exactly three months and have been using it most every night of those three months. It has worked rather swell too... aside from deflating over time and needing to be re-inflated at least every couple nights.Tonight, however, I went to inflate it, as it was feeling less comfortable last night. And when I did I found two of the sections on top had merged into one large bubble. It was basically like having a large body pillow sown into the center of your bed. I have no idea how it's constructed, but I'm guessing the rather high temperatures we got today might have melted glue or something within the bed.I flipped it over and it seemed like that might have worked in a pinch... the box did mention dual layer construction... however the other side I found to be much hotter as I was lying on the only-plastic side.Currently deciding between buying another, or paying more money to see if I can get more than three months.
Works well but does change with air temps.
April 10, 2016
Bed kept me from sleeping on the ground for a week of camping and fishing. Height was to be 18" which was typically within 2-6 inches. Thing I found when temperatures change from warm to cold then back to warm the bed does loose a little air. I never was sleeping below 14" off the ground lost air due to air temps and sleeping conditions. I used a towel on Bottom of tent as well as on Mattress which kept anything from pocking through. Understand the temperatures changed from 28 degrees to 78 degrees from night/morning to day. Some nights and mornings we woke up to Ice or snow on tent, by afternoon the temps would rise up to 78 degrees.Positive side was that it has option to deflate all the air inside and will fit the carry bag given by Intex. =)
Nice for a while
August 20, 2015
I would have given it more stars if I wrote this review three years ago. As you can see it is double height so you don't have to be so low to the ground which I like for several reasons. After three years the internal welding of the first bed broke which created a long hump running down the middle where used to be gentle rolls as in the picture. Came one day when I overfilled the bed with air which never happened before when I simply let the built-in air compressor work until it reached capacity. You really can't sleep on the bed with that single long hump down the middle forcing you off the bed. I liked the bed. Even without a sheet the material it is made of is quite smooth and soft to the touch, and easy to clean. A bed sheet is optional. So I bought it again. Two months old and it happened again - the same internal welding broke and the long hump down the middle appeared where low gentle humps like in the picture used to be. I'm disappointed. I'll shop around but for a different manufacturer of this style of air mattress.

Quality going down hill.
September 1, 2017
This is the second one of these beds that I've owned. The first one lasted about 8 years with occasional use. This one is leaking already after only one month. I should have heeded the warnings on many of the other reviews written here. It's almost impossible to isolate and identify the leak so that it can be fixed, so I'm probably committed to turning on the pump every other day to refill it as long as I need to use it.

Ordered a twin size and all you seem to do is roll off way to easy. Way to bouncy to even try to sleep on. Maybe a full size would work out better.
Sleep in the Middle or Face the Consequences.......
August 26, 2016
It's a comfortable mattress for 1 person and if you sleep in the middle. The problem - this mattress is so tall, and there is no support on the sides, and if you sleep on the sides, you roll off on to the floor.2 people - someone always ends up on the floor. LOL
Unstable bed
July 24, 2016
My husband and I have a one bedroom home. I bought this air mattress because our son was coming to spend the weekend with us. The first night he rolled off of it - it tipped over. The 2nd night it happened again, I put more air in it, but it was very unstable. The 3rd night we had to put the bed between the sofa and a table so it wouldn't roll. I would have returned it, but my husband threw away the shipping box. :( The bed is very unstable.
Disappointed with this purchase 😞
June 1, 2016
I've owned a few air mattresses and got tired of them deflating. This one does seem a little stronger and better quality, however, I found it to be extremely uncomfortable. The "improved" technology puts what feels like cross beams horizontally across the bed and it was so uncomfortable I went out and bought a different air mattress. Disappointing!!
Mine wouldn't hold air.
March 27, 2015
I bought this air mattress to replace a previous Intex mattress. The one I had before was the "Intex deluxe pillow rest." It was swollen on one end to simulate a "pillow". That one held air good, and was stable, but I didn't really like the pillow feature like I thought I would. These beds have an electrical pump which you just plug into an outlet and turn on. They also have a recess were you fold the cord and put it back into the mattress and close the hole with a plastic cover. The reason I got rid of my last one was because the cord was completely torn in half on one side from the bending and twisting you have to do to get the cord back inside the mattress. Now back to THIS one. I bought this one because it was flat, I noticed from the first night I slept on it, that it was kind of wobbly, like the base of the mattress was smaller than the sleeping area. I got used to it, no big deal. Then after about two weeks it started to deflate in the middle of the night. I'd be sleeping good on it, but if I turned over I would end up on the floor. It was like sleeping on a waterbed. If it was stable and didn't deflate, it would be a pretty good mattress. Maybe I got a defective one.

Should have listened to reviews
September 16, 2016
So much potential but alas, the other reviews were correct. We inflated it several times over the course of 2 weeks and allowed to "stretch" as I had read. When the week came when we would need to use it, I slept on it the first night and it was significantly less full the next morning. I refilled it and checked the opening dial and made sure it was where it should be. My 10 year old daughter slept on it the second night and again it was significantly deflated the next morning. I boxed it up and sent it back to Amazon. It is ver unfortunate because it was actually a comfortable air mattress and it inflated so easy and with minimal noise.
leaks
September 7, 2016
From day one it leaks air and you have to blow it back up 4 times during the night unless you want to have your butt hitting the floor. Sorry I didn't try it out before the "return policy" expired. Bought it for company and now I'll have to give up my bed instead.
Ripped the first night of use at the stitching for the pillow
May 20, 2016
So we bought this air mattress since I have to stay in the house we are selling until our settlement in a week while the rest of the family moves. The first night I sleep on this mattress the stitching where the "raised" pillow area breaks and puts a 1/4 in rip in the material right at the seem. So much for that air mattress.I was comfortable for a little while. I loved the self inflation pump however that does no good if the stitching rips and the all the air leaks out.
Okay-ish

Lasted a couple months more than its 90 warranty. One of the seams came loose along the length. Now has a double-sized "rib" along the length. A very small child can sleep on the left side.
Intex Raised Airbed-Queen Sized

Gift for my Uncle - he is moving into a new place and got rid of his old mattress; this is a temp until we get his new one. He stated that it is like sleeping on a cloud; he is so happy with it. *Update 3/16/16: It has barely been two months since receiving this product and it has popped and bubbled up on one side - without being rough with it. My Uncle needed this a little bit longer due to his back and partial paralysis on the right side; he stated that it felt great on his back and alleviated some of his discomfort. Now he is laying on a weird lumpy uncomfortable mattress - Very Disappointed*
Wolf disguised in sheep's skin - looked good to begin with, but too good to be true.

There was an interesting thing about this air mattress. I really wanted to love it, and I really wanted to leave it a good review, but it didn't even last three months with continued use (about 4-5 times per month - less than 10 uses total, and only three times fully inflated, with the rest of the uses being maintenance). The biggest problem of this product is the seal used to inflate it. For some inexplicable, reason, after fully inflating it, the airbed will leak air noisily, through the same hole that it sucks in air from, even if it is set to "fill". Sometimes (initially), it would go away by turning the circular knob to "deflate", then back to "FastFill" (I presume this was lingo for "inflate"), but after the aforementioned usage, a friend of mine awoke on the floor, after the bed had fully deflated after only an hour of usage.I can't in good conscience recommend this item. I went ahead and bought a different Intex product, but if that doesn't work, I may have to look to more expensive airbed options.

Disapointed !

Bought this air bed just over a month ago . Inflated it three times .The third time I inflated it the air pump seal failed . The airbed will no longer hold air. One of the internal supports inside has come loose and the bed is now lop sided . Can't return to Amazon because it is past 30 days . Waist of money . Haven't beena able to contact manufacturer yet . Will not buy this brand again . Amazon being the seller should back the product itself .
Misleading

In the beginning, I wasn't sure the of the quality .so I only bought one. After the first use it seem to work wonderfully well, so I bought a second one. I haven't open the second box yet. Planing to keep the bed handy when hurricane season comes or for unexpected guesses. After three uses of my first air bed, it started to deflate in the middle of my sleep. This was not comfortable, I would rather sleep on the floor. I had hoped to get more use out of the air bed before it started to deflate. The ones I had in the pass would last up to two or three years with at least 6 uses within each year. Only giving 1 starts because I only had two good uses with the bed. I hope now that my second box will last longer. If not then I'm trying a different brand.
Bad night's sleep

I wil be retuning this item. Inflated it for my 6 year old grandson to spend the night. Kept saying he was not tired while laying on it. I finally told him to get on my bed and I laid on the air mattress. He was fast asleep in 5 minutes in my normal bed and I could not in any way get comfortable on this airbed. Finally gave up and went to another bedroom to sleep. Very disappionted.
This is effectively a disposable bed because it will not last. Not worth the money.

I am not a person to write many reviews but this mattress was a waste of money. I started noticing that it would not hold air for shorter and shorter periods. About 6 week into using it, the air barely held overnight. I used water to locate the leak in the hopes that I could repair it. Unfortunately the perimeter around the plastic casing for the built in pump was the source of the leak. Apparently the seal was defective. I will never buy an Intex airbed again because they told me that there is no warranty and this is explained on their website. Some reviewers were told 90 days but not me.
Not for us
November 26, 2016
Not a very comfortable bed. Feels like sleeping on a brick since there is very little tufting. The first night we used it we realized it was too soft and my husband and I fell to the center. Filled it up more the second night and it was too hard for comfort but we didn't fall to the center so we added a foam topper which helped. However, filling it up 3 times throughout the night was obviously noisy in a campground and ridiculous! Instructions mentions the stretching that happens, but we believe after several nights it shouldn't be stretching still so it has to be losing air. Have now used it 3 times and it won't keep air. What a waste of $!
Incredibly disappointed

As with most of the one star ratings the problem with leaks after a short period of time exists with me too. In fact we never got to use it. It leaked from the start. We bought this to use for visitors to our home, so it was several months after we purchased it that the bed was used. I have no idea where its leaking from. Incredibly disappointed

leaked after one night
October 11, 2016
this air mattress sprung a leak and deflated after one night of sleeping on it. the first night was fine, but after the second, i woke up on the floor. i searched all over for the leak but couldn't find it. i suspect it was around the area where you attach the pump to inflate it, and i tried taping over the whole area after refilling the air mattress, but it still deflated after about an hour. i was camping in the middle of nowhere so i spent hours trying to fix it because i had no other option. no luck. horrible product, would never buy from this company again.

Buyer beware! The company that sells this product claims that the buyer must inflate the mattress repeatedly due to a "stretching" issue. The mattress was inflated REPEATEDLY on a recent camping trip. The mattress continued to lose air the entire three days I tried to use it. I'm not just talking about losing a bit of air . . . every three hours for three nights I awoke to a completely flat mattress and found myself on the hard ground. Every 3 hours I inflated the mattress, 3 hours later it was flat. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS MATTRESS UNDER ANY CONDITIONS. I am returning it today.
as always, high hopes that got dashed on the rocks
May 31, 2016
I bought this to use for tent camping. Made sure their was a carpet under it, gently eased my 187lb ass onto it at night... didn't smoke on it, no pets, and used it over 3 weekends... the first weekend it leaked just a little bit of air, the second weekend I noticed it was down some in the am... this last weekend I had to refill it after a nap and in the morning. I think it is leaking near the built in pump. Returning it to Amazon and trying this one out http://www.amazon.com/Lightspeed-Outdoors-2-Person-PVC-Free-Operated/dp/B00CWZE642?ie=UTF8&psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00
Very disappointed...

I needed a small air mattress for a guest bedroom for company that I was expecting. I decided to give up my bed and sleep on the air mattress in my office so that I could get up early and work without disturbing anyone. I had company on and off (mostly off) for less than 3 months. As a responsible adult who is greatly under the 300 pound weight limit, I was careful with this air mattress, and was the only person to use it. It was far from being over-inflated since I like a mattress on the softer side. I didn't ever fold it up or put it away, or use it for anything other than sleeping by myself on.It tore at the seam in less than 3 months of on and off (mostly off) use. Alright I thought, since it has a tear exactly at the seam, I'm sure this is covered under some sort of warranty, so I did some Googling and found out through the manufacturer's website that none of their airbeds have warranties.I'm not ordering another for obvious reasons.
Defective product
December 13, 2015
Great idea, poorly constructed. The first one I purchased lasted two months, then started to leak. There were small splits in the seams on top, in the flocking. I patched several times, but to no avail. The leaks repeated at the seams. I decided I just had a lemon, so I got another. Same deal... splits in the seam at almost the exact the same spot in both mattresses. I concluded that it's a manufacturing defect. By the way, the only weight ever supported by the mattresses was that of my 15 lb Shiv Tzu. He's the only one who sleeps on it. ...yup, he's spoiled, but seriously ...fool me twice Intex, shame on you! Stay away folks - don't buy this. I would rate zero stars, but can't.
and it worked fine. Now
July 8, 2014
I purchased this item in March of 2014. We used it several times when we first got it, and it worked fine. Now, only four months later, it will not stay inflated. We've searched it for holes but haven't found any. I think it is leaking from the inflate/deflate valve, which is a manufacturing defect. It appears to be fully inflated, but after about 15 minutes, it starts to slowly deflate. It only take about an hour to completely deflate. We just had guests use it this past weekend, and they had to reinflate it every hour. They finally gave up and just slept on the couch. I spoke with Intex customer service, and they explained that the item only has a 3-month warranty and that they can't do anything to help me. I'm terribly disappointed in this item and this company. I highly recommend spending a few extra dollars to get a better-quality air mattress.
