Side by Side Comparison of: Moen vs Aquafaucet

This product is exactly as shown. Initially I was concerned because some of the reviews stated that this item was not a "low- arc" faucet, but a "high-arc". Some very nice people replied to my inquiry and gave me the measurements from deck to top of spout. I have cabinet mirror that has to clear the faucet. This definitely is a low-arc and works beautifully; not only that, but it is beautiful!

Bought this not realizing it did not come with valves...but I ended up keeping it and buying valves. Moen products are so reliable and their customer service is top notch. I do remodeling for a living and always buy Moen. Just touch one of their faucets and you know your touching quality. Valves were $77 so for $150 I have a customer who will get years and years of satisfaction from this faucet. And if they want to change handles and spout to a different finish you can and the valves stay put. Great design by Moen. Of course !

Bought this item even though it got some bad ratings. Installed somewhat easy. Finish is very nice brown color not the black color that most others are. I have always used moen products and have never had to use there lifetime warranty. Installed for one month, love it. Let's see how long it lasts.

Great looking faucet - more importantly to me it is solid feeling and made of metal.

Having said that this is the decorative handles only. You have to buy the valves separately for about another $85. I got surprised after the fact although I now noticed it does say "without valves" in the description. It's just not something I'm accustom to look for.

This stuff is high quality. It almost looks too good for my sink. It is engineered to be easy enough for a non-handyman (me) to be able to install, if I read the instructions and think about them carefully. There was one panicky moment when I thought parts were missing, because the instructional diagram showed some kind of extra washer-like parts that were supposed to fit under the cold and hot water lever-mechanisms. There were no parts like that in my package. Finally I noticed the little asterisks next to the parts in the diagram, and read the explanation that these parts are not in every package that the instructions cover.

I bought two because I needed two. Works great. Make sure your hot and cold nozzles are turned to a low setting or your crotch will be soaked and your friends and family will think you peed your pants. Really cool product though. I have 4 bathroom faucets in my house, and I might get a couple more. It was originally listed for $600 on sale for 35 when I bought them, so, by logic, I saved over $1100 on this purchase, practically making money. Even Donald Trump would be proud of that deal.

Amazingly beautiful and at a great price. It was rally easy to install as weekend project to enhance the look of my bathroom. I balance the amount of hot and cold water to keep the lever in the center and it works fantastically well. It was sent fairly quickly and I didn't experienced any problem

Installed within seconds. I love that it came with the 3-hole plate and water lines. No plumbers tape, putty or silicone was needed. Installed on a 24" sink. From looking at it, I thought that the water would shoot out of the sink, but it doesn't!

Very nice replacement for one we had already but was not tall enough. Only complaint is installation was difficult. Had to bend a wrench to get in the base of the faucet to tighten water lines. Not sure if there is a tool out there for this type of faucet, but otherwise very nice, sturdy faucet.

Installed this faucet on a new claw footed tub. It looks great, same color as the other Delta fixtures. Easy to install even without instructions. You can adjust the flow by changing the restrictors inside the spout, very easy to do. Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

I love the faucet but not the drain stopper. Do know you have to purchase the rough in seperare which is a 5 star design product.
I could not get the drain stopper to work, might have been me and had to purchase a pop up drain stopper. Now my lift up lever is just in for the looks.

I am very pleased with the look, finish and quality. Ordered this online and delivery was fast and with no issues. This install was being made with a new cabinet and vanity top, so I was able to install the fixtures while being able to have the vanity top upside down to easily see and make connections. Not sure how easy the install would have been on an existing vanity.

My only issue has been with the plunger and rod connection to the main stem. Water leaked through back where the rod moves the plunger up and down. I thought it was user error by me installing something wrong, but I've had 2 others remove the pieces and re-install it to the same issue. Called Moen for a replacement part which will hopefully solve the issue. Other than that one issue, I am more than satisfied with the look and quality, especially when the local hardware big box stores had limited styles that were mostly plated plastic for the same price.

This faucet is beautiful and looked great in our new bathroom. Only complaint I have is that it didn't come with the rough in valve, which by the way, costs just as much as the faucet. Had I known this before purchasing, I would've gone a different, more cost effective route. Guess it's important to read the small print after all. It still looks good in our bathroom and works as expected.

The directions were understandable, and the parts fit together in such a way that you really couldn't make any assembly mistakes that weren't immediatley obvious. The oil-rubbed bronze is a perfect match to our black and white granite countertop. My only complaint is that I couldn't get the drain-stopper to float perfectly level with the sink drain. Not a big deal, and has no effect on functionality, but little things like that bother me.

Major issue was that the whole is not standard. Had to make it bigger. I have glass tops on all my bathrooms, so it was a real struggle to cut the glass in order to fit the tube. Quality is good and hasn't stained

I was reluctant to order after reading how many people thought it looked purple. Ours looks as it should with no purple - it looks good. I haven't installed it yet, will do that tomorrow. I am a bit worried about the flow - if it's too strong it will overshoot the sink, and although others have commented that the flow can be adjusted I have not found an adjustment on the unit. I suppose I can just adjust the water shut off valve it it's a problem.

Love!!! It is very easy to install! I've never done a faucet install before and was able to figure it out! I gave it 4 stars due to it not having instructions. But it is simple.

Cute and functional. I had someone come out to install them and it went splendidly. The only problem I have with them is that the spout is not tilted downwards - this means water will settle in the spout after each use, and if it is not promptly wiped away, it will leave calcium deposits inside the spout.

Great faucet, no instructions included in my box, I had to rely on a friendly Amazon review to guide me through the installation.Installation tips:1. The faucet body needs to be unscrewed to reveal the water line connection points.2. It comes with the baseplate DO NOT BUY SEPARATELY.3. I needed to buy a thicker grommet as the plastic one it came with was insufficient to stop leaks, and the flat washer was not included in my box.

So far so good. No functionality problems. Great price compared to local stores selection. Everyone who uses our bathrooms loves them.

Recieved product but did not install until recently due to delays in renovation. silver drain cover was missing from one of the boxes so order was incomplete and sink looks unfinished

Within 2 weeks a little piece on top of the hot water handle came loose and will not stay in its spot.

It's okay, kinda hokey set up with the hoses underneath. The stopper stands straight and tall unlike other cheap models where it falls over. matches other Moen products, customer support for Moen is pretty good and helpful. Would buy again to match other Moen products.

Installation was easy, but the quality of the drain stopper was poor. Cheap plastic and wobbles. Won't sit straight. I've installed Delta as well, and think their product is higher quality. That said, the faucet works well and looks nice.

It's a nice faucet and works just fine. I wish the nozzle wasn't completely straight as it traps water in it and causes some water/mineral staining. If it had a slight decline it would alleviate the problem.

The look and design of the faucet are nice. The only complaint I have are the lack of instructions for install. My husband is a very handy guy but this install proved to be challenging and we can't seem to keep it tight and the fixture from turning. I am assuming it is not meant to move and I would guess it could potentially have more leakage problems as a result. Not sure if I would buy again.

These look like they're dark purple anodized (or some other colored electroplating) There are areas that lack color that are clearly the shape of air bubbles (including the interior of the spout on mine) from the finishing process. The other reviews are correct - these do have a purple-ish tint to them, though it's not disagreeable if it's the only item of this color (or the room is dark-ish). I used this faucet in the bathroom for my home theater, which is dark. The shape is nice and the price was right - you can't see the purple tint because there's not enough light. I'd avoid installing these in well lit areas (unless you like dark purple!).Overall, it's about what I expected. I knocked off one star given that the finish doesn't extend into the interior of the spout (very visible), and a second because there was absolutely no way to get a wrench on the braided hoses where they enter the valve body (it has O-rings, so I got it as tight I could by just screwing them in via the braided stainless supply hoses).The included instructions are really poor, and the one booklet covers every type of faucet made, including kitchen sprayers and 5-hole bathtub faucets. If you enjoy bad translations from Chinese to English, here are a few highlights:"...than use cross screwdriver to screw down the two screw to strengthen the fixed dynamics""..check all connect points if leakage. I loved the look of this faucet but ended up having to return it. If your current faucet has a plunger thing allowing the sink to be filled with water, be aware that this faucet does not have one. There is no way to stop up the sink unless you use a separate stopper. Also, the other comments about it being purple is sorta true. It does have a purple, plum colored hue to it.

Looks nice and works; easy to install. Had to find a way to dial back water pressure in that sink or this faucet shoots clear across the counter.

It leaks just like the one the plumber replaced that was a moen also. I am pretty disappointed. M Robinson

It is good quality and beautiful BUT the description did not say you need to buy others pieces for hooking up which are not included. I looked up the pieces online and each cost $90.00! That would raise the price significantly. I went to Home Depot and bought the 2 I needed for a little more money than this ones and a lot less quality but it still came up to a lot less.

Poorly listed. This item is just a trim kit. I'm not a plumber, so when something is listed as a faucet, I assume that is what I'm buying. I had no idea what a 'valve' was until I got this and realized it's the hose that connects to the water supply....and that it would cost more than what I already bought. Lost money on this return. Description should be more clear.

I wish I would have read the customer product reviews more carefully little did I know that this product is a "trim kit." According to Moen a product that begins with a "T" is a trim kit. So what does this mean? Well, it means that after going through all of the trouble of disconnecting your old faucets (unless they are a Moen product), you will not be able to fit this product onto the valve. Nope, that's sold separately. Now I have a sink with holes waiting for the valves that will fit this trim kit. I called Moen's service number and they recommended the 9000 valve for my installation. Tick tock while I now have to wait to have this sent. Very frustrating. To the seller's credit it does mention something about valves not being included but who knew that each manufacturer makes their own valves! Ugh!

After few years, the paint or coating or plastic on the base of the faucets starting to peel!! I can wait to replace them again because they are ugly due to partially peeling! Don't buy!

I should have paid better attention to other reviewers - the hole needed for this faucet is larger than a standard pre-drilled hole in a sink in my area. I had to return it. Otherwise, the faucet looked nice enough. I appreciate that it comes with supply lines. But I can't comment on how it is installed since I could not install it.

Looked nice, but didn't fit through the standard center hole in my porcelain sink. It was so close, almost used a file to make it fit, but didn't want to take a chance on cracking it :(

We had to return this. It is definitely more purple than oil rubbed bronze and it didn't match any of the other fixtures in our bathroom. Really cute design, just not a good color.

It's purple. Haven't installed it yet, because the faucet deck plate I ordered for it is brushed bronze like I wanted, but the faucet is purple, which is not brushed bronze.

The faucet arrived with no hardware to connect to the sink. It was rejected by the contractor.

be prepared to have a MUCH larger hole in your sink. The base pipe is almost twice the diameter of standard faucets I have installed. If you are drilling your own holes you should be OK, but if you are working with a standard faucet be warned.

broke inside and could not use! Plumber said it was junk. Not happy at all because there is only a 30 day return policy!!

Product seems good- so far. Knock wood, fingers crossed, rub Buddah's belly... Install was a nightmare! Three trips to hardware store to buy pieces to make it fit.
