No problems with this item. Im no make up artist, but it gets me thru the day and doesn't run.

I had given up wearing mascara after years of searching for a product that did not give me raccoon eyes. I have oily skin and nothing worked for me. This works !!!! I am so happy to have found this.

I love this mascara. My lashes look lush and thick. It works well, and it's waterproof.

I wanted this mascara because I use the "very black" of this same brand, but in a lot of lighting you can see the blue undertones to that color. I think that the blue to my eyelashes looks stupid. But I like the very dark color and I think that brown mascara just doesn't look as good. I was worried this wouldn't be dark enough, but it is. You essentially can't tell that it's not black when it's on your eyelashes, but it doesn't have that stupid looking blue undertone. Also, I have tried many different store brand mascaras and every time I always think, "why did I bother spending money on anything but lashblast?" It is definitely the best mascara that is smooth and builds really well. I personally like the waterproof because it stays on really well with no smudges and I feel that it also builds better. Another thing I loved about this bottle was that upon first use the texture was good. Sometimes with the very black color, when you first use it, it's like it's almost too wet and it takes several uses for it to "dry out" a little bit. I don't know if that was a one-off thing with this bottle or if maybe the consistency with this color is a little better than the very black.

Was looking for a waterproof mascara, I have allergies that make my eyes water, at times. The previous mascara I purchased claimed to be waterproof, and was not at all!! The days of running mascara were gone, or so I thought.Gave this one a try, and am happy with it's waterproofness. I used oil to remove it, which did take a little work, lol. If not letting coats dry between coats, it will clump and glob, as will any mascara. I am very happy with it so far, just remember to let it dry between coats.

Wow i really like this mascara, it's very wet and goes on perfect. I love the brush, it's so thick and separate each lashes. i also like how it doesn't clump and its really water proof. This is my first time using the color dark brown mascara, it actually looks nice and more natural. love it, will recommend.

LOVE! Plush brush and gives great volume to lashes. Was looking for a decent mascara and purchased this one based in reviews and it was a great choice! I've worn Maybelline Mascara for 50 years and I can honestly write that this version is the absolute best! Glides on easley, give long separate lashes, no clunping, no smudging. Goes on and stays on with sprays of water, crying, perspiration or sleep, it's still on and lovely the next morning (for those of you who can't bear to be seen without mascara) yet comes off with cold cream or makeup remover completely and easily. This big wand brush is amazing, and finding a true rich BROWN that's waterproof at this price is fantastic. Love this mascara. Came quickly with updates on shipping, packaged carefully in mint condition when arrived. I will certainly subscribe to receive this on a regular basis. This has been my Go-to for years ! I mean literally since whenever it came out I have been using this mascara as part of my three step mascara application. Starting off with the Falsies mascara an going over it with Pumped and final step lash discovery just to split the thickness out evenly thought your eyelashes. Try it you'll thank me!

I have tried mascaras from below this price to super high end... and this is my go-to staple for SURE! The brush is perfect, the color is true, it has a long wear, and doesn't 'clump' easily unless you do more than 2 coats. (Which is expected at that point haha.)

BEST MASCARA EVER! Man i apply this once a day and it last til the next day. I have long lashes so this product actually made my eyelashes grow.. totally not kidding. i get a lot of compliments and sometimes even get asked if my eyelashes are fake (rude but kind of good at the same time)... meaning they like it. definitely get the PUMPED UP they are talking about I soooo recommend this product. oh! I should mention when taking off the mascara, don't worry, your hairs aren't going to come out like others mascara used to give me that problem because it was wayyy too sticky. ladies, you won't turn back!

Omgosh... got this as an add-on product (it was the perfect price to get free Azon shipping) and was SO surprised to LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this mascara. Truly gorgeous and sexy on on, I am a brunette with brown-blackish hair (with reddish strands), was surprised that the color was perfect and the mascara seemed to lengthen my lashes with use. My lashes look prettier than they do with the organic brand that I use (PF) and I am so happy to have discovered this by accident! Amazing find. Happy shopping~*

nice, waterproof, makes lashes stand out. this is a nice dark color, easy to apply and does not irritate my eyes. seems to be good quality...

This has always been my favorite mascara. I have noticed it's been harder to get off. In the past it would wash off very clean, now it's under my eyes and need a cream to remove,

COVERGIRL LashBlast Waterproof Mascara Black gets the job done

It is a non-expensive water-resistant mascara, the color is matching my eyelashes and eyebrows : I am a brown-blonde, and always using a brown dye for my lashes. On poor side, it lays very thick, and requires thorough combing, that is very time consuming. To wash the mascara away when I removing make-up at night, is also take a lot of time, and it's slightly irritating my eyes while being washed out with a make-up remover. Better use a regular soap for it. I recommend with some reservations.

This is the first waterproof mascara I have used in at least 15 years! It's better than what used to be available and I really like it very much. EXCEPT when it gets on my skin when I'm applying it! The great thing about it is that the wand is so wet with mascara that it doesn't miss a lash when applying; and that is also the bad thing because it does get on my eyelids, etc. However, I've become very adept at removing tiny splotches with a piece of folded toilet tissue, so that won't stop me from buying it again. At the same time, there is a slight amout of clumping for the same reason. I just keep another mascara handy to use that wand to separate lashes that clump. Overall, I'm happy with it!

Doesn't beat my favorites but it does beef up your lashes! A little clumpy for my taste, and doesn't seem to lengthen mine very much though.

I used to be terrible about replacing my mascara on the regular, but that problem has now been solved thanks to Amazon's Subscribe & Save program. I asked my makeup artist friend for a mascara recommendation and she suggested I try this one. She did not steer me wrong! The waterproof version of this mascara *is* truly waterproof; I run and work out all the time while wearing it and have never had a problem with my mascara running. It can stand up to a LOT of sweat.The only thing I don't love is the shape of the brush; I have to clean off extra product with a tissue before applying; otherwise, my lashes tend to look a little clumpy. For the price (and how often I'm replacing it now), I really can't complain.

I love this brand & style however didn't realize it's waterproof, I like the non waterproof for daily wear, so make sure to read before purchase to get the right one but that being said the waterproof is great too

Takes several coats to get my desired look, but I always apply several coats regardless of what mascara I use. The glam brown color is still quite dark and nearly black, but I prefer it even with my black hair as I think black mascaras can sometimes look too harsh. I've been using the formula for several months now and although I keep repurchasing, I do feel like it dries out a bit too quickly. Doesn't really flake throughout the day, though, and is easy enough to remove with an oil cleanser.

I was hopping for a thicker coverage. It does work just not as well as I had anticipated. I most likely will not be purchasing this item again.

I really like this mascara but for some reason, it doesn't add much length and volume to the lashes due to the product being so lightweight. It's okay, though, I'll work with it! Other than that, decent product, just wish it was stronger in terms of definition.

I ordered this mascara in black but it surprisingly went on a medium brown, amazon has never failed me before. The mascara went on very smoothly but a bit slippery too but it did its job, no mascara running went i went in the pool for a few hours.

it's a pain to get this mascara off....regular soap doesn't work. but on the plus side it won't run down your face.

I have used a variety of CoverGirl mascaras over the years and I like the look this wand gives you but it's extremely difficult to remove at the end of the day... even with waterproof eye makeup remover. Probably would not purchase again for that reason alone. If you use eye makeup remover every night anyway, than it's a good purchase. That's just one step too many for me at the end of a long day, so I would try something else. Definitely gives good volume, though, even in the black-brown color. A great choice for daytime wear. Very Black would be very striking and I would save that for evening use only.

Made some of my eyelashes fall out.

I like the fact that it washed off with the normal face cleanser, but I dislike the panda eyes I get if I wash my face during the day, overall its good, and works good for everyday use.

I'm looking for the holy grail of mascaras. This goes on way too thick and clumpy. Product has to be smudge free. The information on this page states product is smudge free. I had raccoon eyes by the time I'd been at work for an hour or so. Not pleased with this product. I do not recommend.

I'll give it 3 stars, because I used to swear by Mabeliene Mascara, and because the brush is stationary, unlike those stupid new ones with the bobblehead brush. However, this "volumizing" brush is way too think, and oddly shaped, and all it accomplishes is to get mascara everywhere except my eyelashes.

Makes my lashes look really long and full, but the brush comes out gooped with mascara. The seal on the bottle should be tighter. It's really messy and doesn't dry very fast. I have to apply the top lashes of one eye, let it dry, apply to the top lashes of the other eye, let it dry, the proceed to the bottom lashes. I don't think i will purchase this again.

I am usually a fan of all maybelline mascaras and try every single one that comes out to the market. This particular mascara didn't give me as much volume and I felt it separate the lashes to much. If I combine it with the mega volume then it works awesome but not by itself

There is soooo much product on the end that it covers the bristles. When you pull it out of the tube, there is really nothing that you pull it through that decreases the amount of product on the brushes so it doesn't separate your lashes. Takes a long time to get it to stick, then I have to use something to separate my lashes so it's not all clumpy. It doesn't smudge during the day which is good and it comes off easily with eye makeup remover for water proof mascara. It would probably by great if you could get your lashes into the bristles while you apply it rather than your lashes just gliding over the product. I won't buy again.

LashBlast is not an accurate name; however, this does curl my lashes and is definitely waterproof (REALLY hard to remove). This product causes some eye irritation and eye acne for me.

I didn't like the color. It was extremely hard to get off which Is the point I guess but my eyes hurt for a couple days after removing it.

This mascara is rather a disappointment. I have long, dark eyelashes if not particularly thick. When applying this mascara I get two options, barely there or clumps--the tip is terrible. I routinely use waterproof mascaras, and never have had one work so poorly. So not digging the spider eyed look. The upside is that the spider eyed look doesn't last all day because this stuff flakes off leaving you looking like half a spider.

Shouldn't have gotten the waterproof. If you apply a normal amount it flakes off during the day, but is then impossible to get off at night. I threw it away.

I don't know, maybe the one I got had expired but I'm going to throw it away. It's clumpy, with a big glob on the end of the wand, when it's pulled out & the product on the brush goes on in bits & pieces. Forget any smooth coverage & if I'm not careful it gets on my eyelid or face & is a mess to remove. I would definitely never buy this product again.

At first, I was really excited when I found this mascara. It was cheaper than any of the local stores. I've used Maybelline for years and figured I would give this a try. This mascara dried out within about 2 months and got very clumpy and thick. I'm not sure if it was due to the wand getting gunked up or what.

No particular volume noted. If anything, the big fat brush makes it harder to get the mascara on without smudging around the eyes. Only the plastic container and brush are the luminous. Since it's here I might as well use it up but will not buy again.

The first time I used this, I was pretty impressed. This stuff stayed put really well and didn't smudge for about 4 hours on the beach and only started to come off during a 2 hour scuba dive. But then comes time to take it off. I first tried my usual makeup wipes (Burts Bees) with no luck. Whatever, they're standard makeup wipes, not really meant for waterproof mascara. Then I tried my First Aid Beauty face cleanser, but to no avail. This stuff is tough! I finally resorted to my Clinique eye makeup remover, which has never failed me before, and still, this stuff just wouldn't come off! On top of that, I actually feel like it was damaging my lashes, and I noticed I lost more then usual. And to put the cherry on top, the brush was very unwieldy in my opinion. Whenever I would go to put it on, I'd always get it everywhere because the brush was way too big for my eyes, and the plastic bristles were quite pokey. Don't buy this unless you want to be in a world of hurt!

Gave allergies.. After using it once, gave me eye infection and allergy.. Not for me...

This is not black/brown, it is plain brown. So disappointed!

Hated this mascara the most!! It clumps! It flakes allover my face. It's all clumpy and nasty around the hole where the wand goes on the tube! I've dealt with it because it was cheap and I didn't wanna buy another and give it a chance. Never will I buy this one again. Doesn't even been deserve 1 star

This formula might be okay, but the wand is horrible. It is so fat that it's hard to get it on my lashes without getting it all over my lid. The bristles also stick together in the middle of the brush horribly.

I can't vouch for the product itself but I received the mascara, completely dried out. It was clumpy and very hard to apply. I'm not sure how long this has been sitting in their warehouse but I wouldn't recommend it.

Old, dry and clumpy. So frustrated! Added saline and heated it up to try to help it but it's still quite clumpy and flakey. The whole reason I bout it was because my mascara was old, clumpy, dry and flakey. Just not happy!

I had really high hopes after reading so many glowing reviews, plus I love other Maybelline mascaras so I thought it would live up to the hype. But sadly, it's just another mascara. I have full long lashes, and I usually use the Lash Sensational which is really good and I also like Cat Eyes and Lash Stilletto, but this pumped up colossal did absolutely nothing for my lashes. There was nothing special about the formula, and it did not pump up anything at all. Huge disappointment. Back to my usuals!
