Side by Side Comparison of: Laredo vs Justin Original Work

This is the first pair of boots I've ever ordered online and I was a little concerned that they wouldn't fit. They came in earlier in the day than I expected and they fit very well. I am very pleased with my purchase and will probably order my next pair online.

The toe was a little narrower than I expected, but the fit is just right. The boots really look good and feel good.

These Willow Creek boots are excellent. If there is any negative it would be that, if anything, the sizing may run a little (and I mean "little") large...not enough to warrant a reduction in stars. A bit thicker sock will fix easily. Beyond that, the workmanship and materials are 1st class in my estimation. These are my third pair of Laredo boots and I just cannot beat the quality when matched to the price...they match up nicely with much more expensive boots.

I don't have a complaint about these boots, even though when buying shoes your never know if they're going to fit. The size is as expected and the boots look great!

Love it. True to size. Some shoes I'm a 10.5 and others I'm a 11. So I ordered a 10.5 2E and it is absolutely perfect. I love the color, I love the square toe, and I love the rubber underneath. This is my first ever pair of cowboy boots and I love it!I was a little concerned about the shipping because I live in Hawaii, but it took exactly a week, just like they said it would. Overall very satisfied.

Took a few days to break in, but now very comfortable for all-day wear in cool weather. Great books, and the soles provide good traction on smooth surfaces.

Great boot. I bought a size 10 which is a little snug right behind my toes, but fits just right everywhere else (this is my foot, not the boot, I have the same problem with all boots). The next size up was to loose on the top of my foot, so my heal would have had excess slippage. I bought a shoe stretcher and mixed up some water and alcohol (2 parts water and 1 part alcohol. I stretched them over night and now they are perfect. Great boot, looks good and feels solid. I like this boot better than my Ariats.

Been wearing these boots every day for the last 10 weeks. For work and on the weekends. For yard work, and for a night out. They are durable as heck, and extremely comfortable. Only thing I did was replace the insole with one that has a little more cushion. My job pays me 75 bucks a year for work boots, and I will absolutely buy these boots again. If you're on the fence about buying these, take my word for it you will not be disappointed. They totaly exceeded my expectations.

I was wearing my more expensive, "better" quality boots to work, and was getting tired of having to constantly clean them so that I could wear them out to dinner, or other occasions. I bought these (Very similar style as other pair I own) with the intention that these would be my designated work boots, and other pair would be my out on the town pair. After pulling these on for the first time it was evident to me that these would now be my go to boot. I wear them daily to work, play, eat, run errands, etc. My other pair has been throw in the back or the closet. These boots have it all, the tread on the sole is enough to give traction in all terrain, without collecting mud. The insole cushion feels great, I wear them 12 hours a day and hate to take them off at night. The boot looks fantastic, in the dirt, or on the dance floor. Just had them paired with a suit vest and bow tie, and received just a as many complements on boots as I did on rest of attire.

Ordered a size 9. Box showed up . Wore the boot and realised something was funny.Looked at the boot size inside and it was size 10.5 . Packaging says 9. Looks like a packaging mishap.Returned and got it replaced and this time got the correct size. Fits like a glove. No issues.Laredos are true to their size. If its a tad loose just wear some thicker socks and youll be fine.I have wide feet and the regular size fit just fine. This is my second pair of Laredos and first one fit just fine as well.

They are just the teeniest bit too large for me, maybe it was my bad for ordering the wide boots. I almost feel like if I kick too hard the boot could fly off my feet. Better analogue, if my feet got stuck in the mud my foot would easily slip out, leaving the boot firmly planted. But it's tight enough to stay on during normal walking, so I'm probably gonna keep em.

I walked through these boots in about 3 months, I ware them at my weekend job that required a lot of walking and they wear dead by after about 8 weekends. They are nice comfortable boots but if your are going to be on your feet in them all day i would recommend a pair of insoles.

Looking for a cheap boot that gets the job done, then this is your boot. I needed a pair for a western themed event but didn't want to spend too much money for something that i was not sure i would be using all that often. These look more expensive than they were are comfortable and fit well. The only complaint is that they were a little more "pointy" than i had pictured but am still happy with my purchase.

I like the way they looked new, and I like the way they look now that I've broken them in and scuffed them up. Comfortable, but they were a little larger than I expected considering everyone else said they ran small. I ordered a half size larger than I normally would have, and regret it. Fit really well though when I'm wearing two pairs of socks, which is nice on really cold days.

I have been kind of fascinated with getting some cowboy boots for the last year or so and my wife finally bought me this pair for my birthday. I have to say that I was very happy with her choice. The toe is very pointed, as the pictures show. I normally wear a size 12 shoe and she ordered the 12D for these. They fit slightly snug when pulling them on or off, but feel very comfortable when wearing them. I've heard from many different guys that wear cowboy boots daily that it doesn't matter what your shoe size is or what brand you buy, you really need to measure your foot and compare it to the actual product you're getting to really know how it's going to fit. This seems to make perfect sense since there is a lot less room for error in the seems and styles since there is no zippers or laces. I probably could've gotten away with a 1/2 size larger than my normal size and been ok, but these are breaking in nicely and feel great when I'm wearing them. It's almost too much machismo for one man. My wife says she digs it quite a bit to see me rocking so rugged cowboy boots.

Amazing work boots. I put mine through hell and back and these boots are still holding up. I've had them for about a year now so I hope it'll last me one or two more years. my only problem that I have is my left boot looks different from my right boot and you would have to look at it for a couple of seconds to see the difference. My only tip for you guys buying it is that make sure the boots look the same and feel the same. and if they don't, ship them back and tell them why and get a better pair or get a refund and go to a boot store and find a pair that matches.

I have ordered these boots now 3 times from amazon and the first two were absolutely perfect. This recent pair however are not nearly as comfortable and are very stiff. Not sure what changed but even the inserts are different and less comfortable. Probably won't order again.

They fit great, but one boot is slightly loose in the heel compared to the other foot. Still, I love these boots and would buy them again in a heartbeat.

If you start wearing them and they hurt. Keep on keepin' on!I tried thick socks, I tried tall socks, I tried thick tall socks. They all still rubbed my legs almost raw. But I liked them, so I gave up and just wore ankle socks and no joke after about a week they stopped hurting. (not going to lie, I almost gave up) but they are comfortable and I love them. I read some of the other reviews and they said they ran a tad small, so I ordered accordingly. I'm regularly a 10 tennis shoe, ordered a 9.5 and they fit great (a tad big even)Great boots!

My one negative on these boots is that you definitely need to wear over the calf socks with these boots or it will wear your legs raw. Maybe the leather will soften up with time, but for me it was very uncomfortable trying to wear these without having the socks higher than the boots. Otherwise I like the boots.

Inside insole, does not hold up one weak. Other than that the boots wear good.

I would give it 3.5 stars. A little tight I hope they will wear in and be more comfortable. Nice boots and seem to be well made for the price.

I previously owned Harley Davidson motorcycle square toe boots.The laredo are really a big surprise. I didn't expect such build quality, arch support and fit.They really look great and exhibit perfect and precise construction.I have flat foot and slightly wide feet and I feel great on 7.5D. My sports shoes (New Balance, Nike, and Salomon) are all 7.5D as well, so it is safe to say that these Laredo boots are true to size and fit perfectly. The boots don't need any break-in.On the down aside, I wish the leather was a little bit thicker. They are light, comfortable and soft but not for walking too long. Standing in one place is OK if weight is dispersed to both feet.To conclude: If you wish to move into the western bots world and you don't want to invest around $200+ for quality boots, you can safely take these lovely Laredo boots for casual or office wear. The tan goes perfectly with either light or dark jeans or even Chnios. In my opinion, they are beautiful as well.

I did not manage to wear them, thus I can only say that they are small. I bought them in size 11.5 when I generally wear 10.5, but they were too small anyway. Bad luck since they were nice looking.

way too tight.. i tried them on and had to wait till my wife got home to help get them off, i couldn't get them off alone.

Runs small and is rather narrow, needed boot stretchers, saddle soap and several times soaking in water and walking in them to finally break them in.

The boots themselves seem like a very nice quality. But they're very very very very very narrow and the sizes don't match up I've always my whole life and worn a 10 and a half and I got these and they were huge as far as my toes went and then my feet were cramped as far as the width goes and I wear a standard size shoe and boot. The only way I'll ever order shoes or boots online as if I own an existing pair that I've tried on in the store first prior to ordering

Had a hard spot in the front of boot that was rubbing top of toes so had to return. Otherwise nice boots.

These boots looked good but fell apart in less than a year.

When I received the boots, the left one was perfect; however the right one was not made the same and had a smaller neck, so my foot could not make the turn into the boot. I ended up needing them right away so I went to a local store and purchased them. Same brand and I love them.

These were way to small, couldn't even get them on. I usaully wear a 12 D and sometimes EE so I got the EEE sixe in these boots and they were way to small. I gave them to my brother who weras a 11D and they fit him fine. They looked good but felt real light comapared to all my other cowboy boots. I guess you get what you pay for and $88 dollar boots arent real qulity.

Have ordered this boot in the same size before and they were great. This was a reorder for a second pair.One boot was smaller than the other. One fit and. The other he couldn't get his foot in the top of the boot.I wasn't even contacted by the supplier regarding the problem or an offer to replace them. I just returned for a full credit.

I wear a size 12 in everything.I ordered a size 12 and they are way too big not even close.Returned and trying another size.

Boots were too small and the top rubbed and irritated my leg, even with long socks on. Returning them.

Bought and returned immediately. Stiff cheap leather. Uncomfortable; no arch support. WAY too big. I wear 11.5 in running shoes... Needed 10.5 in these, and I bought 11s.Ended up buying Ariat Ramblers in 11s. Amazing

When I recieved the boots they were used.

Boots were very small. Otherwise, they were decent boots. Order your shoe width but go up a full size in length. If you wear a 9.5 D, order a 10.5 D and the boots should fit.

One went on ok, second almost couldn't get on or off, supposed to be extra wide, but was tight on sides and arch felt like a square block under your foot.

The boots looked nice but they were too small. They were 8.5 I ordered 9 someone wrote 9 over the size. Im only giving it one star just because they looked nice but fit terribly. I suggest you save your money and get yourself some quality boots. These were nice looking but that was it.

I wear a 13EE in every boot I own, and I ordered the 3E just in case for this one and I could not even put my heel in. Order way above your size if you want to fit into this thing.

I returned them for a size smaller then what I originally ordered. My first order was the exact shoe size. I went down one shoe size then what my son is in. They are still way to big. I would return them but the box got damaged due to shipping. So now I'm stuck with them.

Received 2 different sizes. I didn't check them upon arrival, missed the return window (my own fault). These boots are also quite wide compared to the pair I bought a few years ago. Needless to say, due to being unwearable, money wasted. Be sure to check the size upon arrival so you don't get stuck with a worthless pair of boots.

Bought in August (to get right size) for Christmas . Well now I'm stuck with boots no one can wear. This particular boot ran large. The last pair of Justins fit perfect, for some reason these fit like a 13 but are a 12. Sometimes it does not pay to shop early. This particular boot runs BIG.

After a week the sole of the boot started to come apart very low quality boots

Found these at academy for $95. Wife bought these for me for Christmas and at check out the when she entered my size the price jumped up $30. Ended up paying $140 for these and tried to return then but they wanted me to pay to ship them back. So I had to keep them. After wearing them for 2 days the boots are rubbing the skin off my shins and give me blisters.( I do wear long socks) but I've never had a boot do this to me. Very disappointed in this product.

Bought these for my son in law for Christmas. After wearing in normal conditions for about a month, the leather on one boot began to turn white and looked as if it was peeling or cracking. Would not recommend.
