Great boot it took about a week to properly break in but after that it is very comfortable. I walk approximately 5 miles daily and wear them for 12-14 hours continously daily no problem. Everyone is also complementing me on the nice boots every where I go.

I haven't had a pair Western Boots in 34 years. My wife got these as a Christmas present for me. They look great and are comfortable considering they are too large. She ordered my shoe size and the boots are larger than she expected. I have recently read that when ordering western style boots order one size smaller than your normal shoe size. With these boots, I'd have ordered a half size smaller and instead of extra wide I would have gotten 2E or 3E.

Beautiful, well made, really worth the money

I first was worried if it would fit me well as I expect and yes It does, it arrived early and was very happy with a seller as they were in touch all the way. Real nice looking boot.I had the pigskin Laredo boots before and loved them, went through two sole replacements until a motorcycle accident took them out.I like these because I can still ride with them, thanks to the slip resistant heel and sole. and they take a great shine which means I can wear them with dress slacks as well.Well worth the price!

I ordered these boots for my fiance, and he loves them. He says that after a little while of breaking them in, they're extremely comfortable. Definitely a dress boot, and they look really sharp.

For only $66, for a pair of Western boots, I wasn't expecting much, but they are a good pair of boots, fitting my purpose well. I have narrow heels (I normally prefer a "b" or "n" width, but ordered this boot in 11.5 D, mainly due to the low price, and favorable reviews., to gain a larger size for my aged feet. They fit somewhat looser than my other, similar Justins (size 10.5 D), bought in '98, but that's why I did order these a bit larger. My feet have grown larger (from 10.5 to 11 five years ago) and toes more sensitive (from 40+ years of wearing steel-toed boots at work), so the slight looseness felt great, when I wore them all day. I know they'll slip less when broken in, and until then, I'll wear thicker socks, but they exceeded my expectations anyway. I wore $200+ boots for many years, but no longer can afford the price tag of look-alike boots comparable to these, so I took a chance on these, to wear instead of my uncomfortable older Justins. Glad I did!

A hell of a bargain for good tall leather boots. The material seems high quality. The stitching is tight and clean. A workable sole for multiple surfaces. I have been looking for a basic work boot for some time. I am quite pleased I found these. The stitching on the foot is black and on the shaft white. The pattern on the shaft is attractive and I expect it to darken with the leather treatments I choose (possibly could be kept nice and white if that's what you want)

First off, I'm not a cowboy, ranch hand, or gun slinger. I do not live in the wild west, and Buffalo Bill is not in a picture frame above my fireplace. I will say however that passing by this 'Westerns Footwear' barn along the highway everyday finally peaked my interest enough to have a look.According to the Art of Manliness, cowboy boots are a great fashion statement so long as you don't mix any other western attire into your outfit, for at which point it becomes a costume. So I walk into this barn, and the first thing that struck me where how ugly so many of the boots were. I wanted something simple. Everything they had either wasn't my taste, or didn't fit right, or was way out of my price range since everything was over 300 bucks. Ouch. I walked in hoping to support a small business and buy a pair of boots, but walked out disappointed and feeling mission failed.Decided to try these boots on Amazon. AMAZING. They are just as good quality as the high end, expensive boots at that outfitter store I went into, and have a solid feel to them. But here's the amazing thing-- they fit me PERFECTLY. I'm wearing them now. I tried on so many boots at the barn that I think the owner was getting annoyed. They just didn't fit! First try with these boots here and BAM. More comfortable than my moccasins. More fitting than sneakers.I will say that trying on the boots at the store helped out a lot. I wear a size 9 1/2 shoe, but at the barn the only cowboy boots that came close to fitting me were 8 1/2's, so that's what I ordered here and they fit like a glove.If I was to recommend one thing, it's to go try on a cowboy boot somewhere first to see what your size is. I've been wearing Western-style boots all my life, and the fit and materials of these Old West boots rival boots that I've paid over $300 for. The toe is between and R and J style, and does not ride-high or clip. You won't have to worry about scuffing the toe or hanging it as you move from gas-to-brake or shift gears on a motorcycle. Nice style, especially the silver trim, but they didn't fit right. Too narrow and 11.5 felt tight. Returned them for another brand.

My husband has really enjoyed these boots. That fit well and he has had no issues with them.

I'm writing this review because I am really dissapointed in how the boot is made. I don't wear them that much but when I do I see that the neck of the boot wrinkles easily and when it does it cracks the boot and the color flakes off..... I don't know if this is normal wear and tear but I think that's a bunch of nonsense..... otherwise they work great. They are more of a dress boot than a work boot

They were shipped on a Monday and arrived the next day on Tuesday... Very pleased with them, not to sure about the "Silver Dressing" though.. Looks as though it could be removed without much trouble if you wish. They will be going dancing at a wedding on Friday night.. I'm sure the boots will last, not to sure about me.. I'm 76... OK!! Went to the wedding, lots of complements on the boots... They fit great ! (Note ordered one size larger and wore boot socks) These are my new dress shoes...

General - It's been 1 year since I received these boots (they were a gift), and I feel I can leave a good review for them now. They are sturdy, essentially waterproof (I wouldn't stand in a pond in them, but you can walk through pouring rain and wet grass and such), and they look fantastic. They are so good looking, in fact, that they can be worn under slacks for semi-formal dress events. They've gotten a lot of compliments and the heel is great for a shorter man, like myself, to get a tad more height for dancing. Having never had pointed-toe boots previously, it took some adjustment on my part to get used to how the narrowing front affected my toes. I am a little disappointed that some of its stitching has started coming undone on one of the sides, but the faux leather upper is holding up great and I have no doubt if I simply resew that particular seam it will continue on for at least two more years. The thread gave (bad knot?) not the faux leather.Faux leather (uppers only I think) - The faux leather feels like real leather to me and I honestly didn't know it was fake until I read the label. It's just as tough and hasn't scuffed or ripped anywhere, which to me is shocking because I am rather rough on my boots. All of my past boots have been all leather with some gortex here and there, so I was a bit sceptical of the 'pleather' and its performance. I continue to be impressed with how the fake leather is holding up and I now trust them with my skin just as much as real leather. It handles mud and sand great and the height keeps your shins protected from whatever you may find yourself mucking around in. A+ job for Laredo on choosing/making the faux leather. Tough stuff.The metal - As soon as I saw the metal accents I just knew I would manage to rip one of them off, but so far I have only managed to bend them! This was another surprise. My friend (250+ lb man) stepped on my heel and it bent the heel's metal accent back a tad bit. All I had to do was take out my leatherman's pliers and bend it back to the original position. They are much sturdier than I expected, and the little engravings on them are a nice touch.Overall summary - I really like these and their durability has impressed me (as well as their fake leather). The stitching coming undone on one section is not a big deal to me and should be an easy fix. Even considering this I would definitely buy them again.

Im very pleased with these boots. Pay attention to the other reviews regarding how they fit. I ordered about 1/2 size smaller than my usual sneaker size and they fit as if they were custom cut to my feet.Would have given five stars, but the product description says 'leather'. The product itself says 'leather upper'. Im guessing the lower half of the boot is man-made materials. A bit misleading as far as im concerned. Anyway, they look great, fit great, and look great. I suggest these boots.

I bought these in brown and they are easily the most comfortable boot I've worn without extensive break-in. I've had them for almost a year now and they are holding up fine,BUT...here's the thing: I liked these so much I bought another pair, but in black. Same boot, same size, just different color. And they don't fit well at all. They hurt, in fact. Go figure. I'm trying to break them in, but I may end up tossing the black ones in the Goodwill bin.So, basic quality control issues in whatever 3rd world factory these are put together in.

I have bought and worn about 10 pairs of western boots from Justin's to Lucheese's. I generally buy extremely cheap boots from everyday wearing and work and reserve the nicer boots for nicer occasions.Originally I posted a 2 star review, but I am back to change it.After wearing these around moderately for about 2 weeks, these boots have gotten much better. Them getting wet has has helped that process, these boots fit great now outside of the narrow shaft. I can get used to that.I can wear these boots all day without issue now and when you think about how cheap these boots are, their worth every penny. Do not expect high dollar boot comfort and quality from these boots and you will be happy.

I think for the money they are good boots. I normally wear a 10.5 shoe and ordered a 10D. I found I should have ordered a 9D so I returned them. Because of the hoops required to jump through to return products, I reordered the very same boot from Sheplers for $10 less which also included free shipping.

Needed these for my son that's was an usher in a wedding party. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for him to only wear one time. These are very well made boots, fit normal for size. Was the best price I found even from local stores. well pleased !

pretty cheap. Not highest quality but not bad for the price.

I got mens boots because they are wider. However, the rubber they use for the sole and heel is horrible. I aired them out for a few days but cannot wear them. I would have kept them for the fit and used an insole but cannot stomach the smell.

The boots were a bit large so we had to return them. They were hard leather as well which with a loose fit would have rubbed serious blisters. I also didn't care for the toe guard.

Be careful when choosing your size - maybe choose about a half-size smaller.

Theses boots are very well made and look great but the sizing is VERY small! I had to return my husbands . He couldn't even get his foot in the size he usually wears and they didn't have a larger suez at the time. They are also very narrow.

A good every day boot, but really now...not a western boot. More of a motorcycle / trucker boot. And, you get what you pay for, there are few details other than stamped leather and those little tips were gone the first day.

Sizes run narrow.

I like the boot, they are just a little large and I have to wear thick socks to keep from getting blisters. I did not return them because I had worn them a couple of time before I really got a feel for how they were going to be. If they stretch out any as time goes on. I will not be able to wear them.

Was an "open box" package". The boots were on promo, but were not listed as an "open box".

I purchased a pair of size 11D, and they were slightly larger than expected. The shaft was also pretty wide, so the fit was way off. I thought the stitching was barely discernible and the color was a solid burgundy. You do get what you pay for, and not more.

Color was much darker than pictured. More black than brown. Seller took return but took a while to get my refund

Made in India, by possibly two people. One built the left boot to a perfect fit. The other built the right boot narrower than the left. I measured them. They both seem to be well made, just different. They're a very nice dark chocolate color. I'm trying to make the right one fit by using a boot stretcher.

These boots were not what I was expecting. They are not as wide as my husband needed and they look just ok. I am returning them.

Needed a size bigger

Sorry...I love Laredo Boots and have three pair but, these are not the quality or sizing I purchased before. If you have a "thicker" calf...this is not the boot for you. I will still buy Laredo but, go with the more expensive pair for quality and sizing.

Just got these boots and have been walking around the house with them for about an hour. They look really good and fit pretty well. I have a pretty wide foot and often have a problem with Cowboy boots fitting on my lower foot but these are just right. The reason I only gave two stars is because they are not leather, there is no leather on any part of this boot. This is a completely man made material and I don't like knowing that at all. I work with leather and this is not leather. They look good, feel pretty good, workmanship wise they are pretty good, but when it comes to material these boots are cheep. If it were not such a pain in the butt to return them then would send them back because I paid for a leather lower. This product is not as advertised on the Amazon web site. Had I have known I would have spent the extra money for better material.

Tried on, but felt like I was wearing rubber boots. Didn't fit well. Did a return and they took $10 off my refund as a charge eventhough I am a Prime Member. Returning something with them is a headache too. I will not purchase anything else from them.

Never bought this brand boot before and the sizes run way too big. Im an 11 in Ariat, tony, dan p. Other lower end boots im an 11.5. I bought this at an 11.5 and it fit like a 12.5.

I don't think the problem is that they are too narrow, but too short. The fit over the top of my foot is very tight, and that pushes my heel back into the back of the boot to the point of pain. I think I could wear them a little at a time and get them to break in to be comfortable, but there was no way I could wear them to the party I had bought them for. Maybe a wider size would solve that, but I have never needed any shoes wider than normal before. They are nice looking boots, and really wish I could wear them.

The cheapest made boots I have ever put on my feet. The uppers feel like flimsy plastic and the lowers I'm not sure if they are actually leather or not. They don't look too bad I guess but have a synthetic look for sure

Was supposed to be slip resistant and aren't tried to send them back and said I wore them how u suppose to see if they work if u don't wear them. Only had them on for about 10 minutes

You get what you pay for and these boots are no exception. The leather is not all that great of quality. You can see what looks like glue around the seems and the soles are messed up in places. Also, beware that there is no free return shipping and they charge a restocking fee. These boots were way too small and did not seem like they were sized correctly, so be warned if you buy these as you cannot simply exchange them.

Great boots... except they arrived with the pull on tab pulled out. I was on the road and unable to return them so not very pleased with that aspect.
