Five Star Reviews: | 77% Springform to perfection July 20, 2017 I had never tired these before but I am lovin it. All three pans were exactly as described. Packaged well, and fast delivery.I know you have to use a thicker batter with these and the Lemon Blueberry Strudel was great. I definitely recommend this product and the seller. There was plenty of cheesecake and the pans were perfect. I did use a water bath as I ... June 20, 2017 I made 7 cheesecakes for my brother's rehearsal dinner. I purchased 2 of these and had one already. There was plenty of cheesecake and the pans were perfect.I did use a water bath as I was cooking the cheesecakes but I wrapped these in slow cooker liners (Thanks pinterest!) to prevent leakage, so I can tell comment on how they do on their own. These pans are wonderful!! April 13, 2017 These pans are wonderful!!! The quality is far better than I expected and they bake evenly with no fuss. My cheescake is perfect. No leaks in the water bath I highly recommend them. Good Springform Pans December 28, 2016 Great pans. We end up using them more than we thought. There is a tight fight, and pure liquid will get through (like melted butter), but for the most part, could not ask for anything better. Super set of springform pans December 15, 2016 Really nice set of pans. Heavy gauge, non-stick, easy to use and wash. Love them! | 42% Great pans August 1, 2017 I love to bake and these pans are great with a great price. Bought 2 pans from a box store and they cost more than these three they wore out fast. Theses are still going strong. ... wanted some spring form pans and these are just great. December 4, 2015 I always wanted some spring form pans and these are just great. I really like the three different sizes October 18, 2015 I really like the three different sizes. I have baked two cheesecakes at one time by using the two larger pans. Just need to watch the bake time a little closer. I am glad to have these pans. They replace the pans that were lost in a house fire. The price was great. Well made for the price. October 9, 2015 Non stick, well made and easy to use spring-form pans. Great for baking any kind of cake. Ideal for cheesecakes. Well Built and We Look Forward To Using The Pans August 31, 2015 While we have not prepared any dishes in the pans, we inspected them upon arrival and found them to be well built with a solid construction and a good fit for the removable ring. We are well pleased with the pans and look forward to preparing dishes in them. If they cook as good as they look and feel then the food will be great. |
Four Star Reviews: | 15% Like them. August 4, 2017 I guess I didn't realize it was a 3 pans,,,,3 pieces can mean a lot of things. They are nice. Very nice spring form pan set November 1, 2015 Very nice spring form pan set. We've used it multiple times and it works as expected. I wish it were a bit more non-stick. These pans performed great every time with only the bigger pan having a ... January 11, 2015 These pans performed great every time with only the bigger pan having a slight leak when I first started. The instructions weren't as clear as I would like it to have been about the placement of the bottom into the spring housing. It could still latch without being perfectly inserted and I now test with water before putting in batter. I would look at both sides to ensure the bottom is fitted in properly. I gave 4 stars because when making cheesecake, the ... December 5, 2014 I gave 4 stars because when making cheesecake, the butter from my cookie crust melted in the oven (of course), but dripped thru the seam, so it doesn't seal fully together. | 19% These pans work great to make ice cream cakes and cheese cakes June 9, 2016 These pans work great to make ice cream cakes and cheese cakes. The sides come away from the bottom to make it easy to get out of the pan. Pans did a good job October 18, 2015 Made a wedding cake. They are non stick that was nice. Im guessing in shipping two pans were dented on the walls from shipping. Kinda disappointed about that. I tweeked them back in to place. would buy again August 25, 2015 Was afraid they would not work due to the fact that they are so inexpensive. I was wrong. Made my wedding cake with these and every teir turned out great. I didn't have any trouble that I don't have with the more expensive ones. |
Three Star Reviews: | 4% Three Stars May 31, 2015 Pans cant hold water had to line them twice with parchment paper to slow it down The largest one leaked a little January 7, 2013 I'm sort of new to baking with these types of pans, so I don't know if I'm doing something wrong. I made a fourless chocolate cake which needed to go in a water bath. I wrapped the pan in foil as instructed, and when it was done baking, some of the chocolate cake had leaked out (through the bottom) into the foil. It wasn't a lot. I'll still use it them, but I'll make sure to put something under them to catch anything that might drip out. Great pans, bad packaging for shipping. September 4, 2012 Pans arrived in a somewhat large box for such a small package. The pans were shrink-wrapped together nicely, but they were loose in the larger outer box. The largest pan was slightly bent in one area, but it appeared to not have made it unusable. A smaller shipping box and some air cushion or peanuts would solve that problem. They are very nice heavy duty pans. | 8% Difficult to tell if it is sealed all the way ... October 29, 2015 Difficult to tell if it is sealed all the way. I had the bottom fall out on me twice already. |
Two Star Reviews: | 0% Not a big fan of these. I got these ... June 27, 2015 Not a big fan of these. I got these about 10 years ago and finally got a chance to learn baking. The batter leaks into the gap. It is hard to reach and wash. Rust water comes out. RUST? Must be kidding me!I have another brand also springform pan but it comes out clean after baking. No residue left after washing.Anyway, from now one I will only purchase regular baking pan not springform or non-stick. I figure Wilton pans stick anyway, why bother to pay extra to get non-stick pans. | 3% Paint is coming off March 6, 2016 Paint came off after using them once or twice, really not what you want, black paint on your cheesecake :-( Wouldn't buy again, again, guess you need to spend a little bit more money to get decent quality. |
One Star Reviews: | 4% Waste of money September 3, 2017 Waste of money. Utter rubbish. I purchased these pans to make a cakes for a friend's Birthday. They leaked batter everywhere when locked, The 10 inch was the worst however as the clamp would close. Don't buy. Ugh so disappointed!! December 13, 2016 Ugh so disappointed!!! I bought these pans a couple months ago and I am barely getting around to using them and now I can't even return them!! I tried baking 2 cheesecakes and the pans leak!!! Water got into my pan as well I am very upset because I was really excited to use these!!! I do not recommend Not Dishwasher Safe: Rusted after first use November 27, 2015 I bought these last week and popped them into the dishwasher to have ready for Thanksgiving baking. On Wednesday, I used the 9" pan and was quite happy with its performance. The trouble started when I cleaned up afterwards. I added the ring from the pan to the dishwasher Thursday evening with the rest of my T-giving dishes, making certain to load "upside down" so no water would collect in the rolled groove. I used high temp water and heated drying. This morning, Friday, when I removed the ring from the dishwasher, there was rust in the groove that accommodates the bottom and on part of the outer clasp. My first thought was that it hadn't completely come clean even if it didn't look like the crust I made, which was a dark reddish brown color, but perhaps it had been bleached by the dish soap? Scrubbing quickly revealed that it was rust! I couldn't believe the pan was already rusty; before posting this I had family members look at it and they agree. I've attached photos so that you can judge for yourself.I have been reasonably happy with Wilton products in the past. The quality is often acceptable and the prices good. These are the first springform pans I've bought so perhaps there is special care needed I'm unaware of but since they're labeled dishwasher safe, I am quite disappointed. Unless you're looking for single use pans or plan to hand wash and dry them, I'd suggest trying different pans. One Star March 16, 2015 Pans are three different sizes. Web page said it was a 3 piece set of 9 in pans. | 28% DISAPPOINTED November 16, 2015 Not what I expected. The finish came off after first use. Just what you want in your cheesecake paint chips from the pan. I would not recommend you buy these unless you are making no baking cheesecake. If your making a baked cheesecake spend the money for a quality product. Good For 1 Use. November 6, 2015 It did the job, but one of the pans leaked. Also the paint coating peels off after one use. If you only plan on using it once, it's worth the money. If not try something else, threw them away. which is my favorite type of tin and I never had any problems ... October 27, 2015 I had to return it! When it first came, it was obvious that they weren't new. There were scratches all over! I had used these spring-type tins before, which is my favorite type of tin and I never had any problems with them. But this one, you can just see how poor the quality it is. They are very thin, they get scratches so easily, and it is very hard to clean the crumbs in the gap! Most importantly, When I poured my cake mixture into the tin, it leaked!! it totally ruined my oven bottom. I'm so mad and I'm returning it! This product was very good on the first time you use for baking October 13, 2015 This product was very good on the first time you use for baking. After the first time using the paint on the product peels off. So for its not.worth the money I'd pay for it. Not worth it. September 24, 2015 . I have not used these yet. I will make a cheesecake tomorrow night and post a picture, hopefully I remember. So I will reevaluate the 5 stars if I deem it necessary. I do like that the clasp is sturdy. That was before I used the pan. The finish is coming off of the bottom edges. I always line the bottom with parchment for easy removal of the cheesecake and protect it from the knife. When I took it off, the edge of the bottom was pealing away and the parchment was not touching it. I also noticed how lightweight the bottom was in fact mine was slightly warped. The clasp is still nice. I am sending these back. I don't want finish in my food. I won't buy these again. The star is for the clasp and nothing more. Great value, not as great quality... update: Don't buy. September 20, 2015 Great value for three pans in one order. I've only baked in one of the pans so far- and I was a little disappointed because some of the black finish/coating cracked/peeled off the edges when I removed the springform. Also- I cut what I made right on the bottom, and it will definitely leave cutting marks in the pans. Three stars for value, but not for product quality here. You're getting what you pay for I guess! They work for us as far as how much we'd use them, but you wouldn't want them in your kitchen if you're a gourmet chef or trying to present something nice to company/guests.UPDATE:They ALL chip their paint off, baked or not as soon as you cut into your dish. |
