Great Machine for a Great Price
May 26, 2017
We love this rowing machine. It's fairly light weight but is sturdy. We get a good work out using this for sure. We have only had it for a few weeks but can tell that we will get a lot of good out of it.The annoying things are that the seat is a bit hard-I don't expect a throne by any means but it could be a little softer. Also, there is a lifetime count that you can't reset. If I were to redesign I would make this like our cars that there's a "trip A" and a "trip B" that can each be reset on their own. My husband and I like to switch off on commercial breaks using this and I would love to be able to see how many reps I have done instead of having to log it when we switch out. It's not annoying enough to remove a star but it's something I hope the manufacturer would consider for a newer model of this.
Great for the price!!

I was sick of my stationary bike and looking for something different when my grandson suggested a rowing machine. This little machine was the perfect choice, delivered quickly and pretty easy to put together it offers a much better total body workout then my bike did. The size allows me to keep it in my living room mostly but easily put it in the guest room if needed. Started out slow but I have built up my strength and endurance pretty quickly and really enjoy working out on this machine.
Smooth, Quiet Rowing Machine with Full Rowing Motion
September 9, 2016
Easy to assembly, quiet and smooth to operate. The full rowing motion makes for a terrific workout. The computer is very basic but the counts are accurate and that's the core functionality you need. Many screws were in place already, not in the bag referred to in the instructions. Only real complaint is that the strap placement is much lower on the foot than it appears in the picture and consequently fairly awkward to fasten. That's a minor thing, though, compared to the overall quality of this machine.
Was this a great choice or what!
August 1, 2016
A great machine!. Having been a rowing nut in my younger years, (singles and four with a rudder man) I was not expecting being able to duplicate the real water resistance. With the machine adjustment I'm able to duplicate the exact pressure on the oars. It was easy to assemble, it is quiet and easy to get on and off. My muscles are coming back quickly, (so say my wife) to the point I'm always peaking on the mirror on a tank top.I do 18 minutes a day non stop, 7 days a week. My eighty years old frame is very appreciative by now.
fantastic rowing machine for home gym
August 3, 2015
Fast shipping, fantastic rowing machine for home gym. I have no problems with my feet slipping out but I have a size 6 foot. Sinch the Velcro up tight and no problems.. Highly recommend this machine it's inexpensive easy to store a great product.
I was able to put it together by myself pretty easily (and I'm a woman)
March 9, 2015
I am disabled and weigh 250 pounds. There is very little I can do in the way of exercise, but I wanted something that I could use to hopefully lose some weight. I was able to put it together by myself pretty easily (and I'm a woman), and it's a nice, smooth workout. Seems very strong and sturdy and holds my weight without any problem. Slight problem keeping my feet in the holders, but don't know what you can do about that; the foot straps are wide, and I put them as tight as I can. I can only go about 10 or 15 minutes at a time, though, anyway, so it's not a huge inconvenience. I've only used it a few times so far, and if I develop a problem with it, I will update my review, but so far, it's great.

easy to get it in and out and move it
March 22, 2017
It's been one year since I purchased this. I purposefully postponed writing this review to see how long it will last me. It is EXTREMELY quiet, easy to get it in and out and move it. It does seem heavy if you were to move it around across from your house but the distance I have to deal with is satisfying. Money well spent. Only complaint is that I wish it could go lower but I should be blaming my short legs first so not a big deal. Highly recommend for those who don't have much time to go hit the gym. I work out in my living room in the morning/night and keeps my heart pumping.
I love that this bike fits snugly against the wall when ...
June 20, 2016
I really wanted an exercise machine I could use at home for the days I don't make it to the gym (which, I'll admit, is most days). However, I also have a small apartment with limited floor and storage space. I love that this bike fits snugly against the wall when not in use without sacrificing comfort or sturdiness (even with my big booty) in order to be compact.

Bikes are not usually my go-to exercise equipment because they give me a sore butt and crotch when I push myself, and, sometimes, even when I don't. However, this bike doesn't feel the same to use as a regular bike or the standard exercise bike you would find at the gym. The pedals are further forward and the seat is wider, and I actually find it to be more comfortable. I am still able to get my heart rate up and work my legs just as well as other bikes while sitting fully back on the seat. I have not noticed any aches or pains indicating the positioning is problematic, but I have noticed considerably less pain caused by the seat than I usually experience using exercise bikes.

It is quiet, smooth, tracks everything I want to track, has appropriate resistance, and still works great six months later. I am very happy with my purchase!
Comfort at Last!!
January 10, 2015
In the hopes of helping someone, I am going to be painfully personally honest.... I am over 250lbs and have been searching for a bike that does not send searing pain up my tail bone in five minutes. Well, I found it! I love this bike and for the price I feel it has to be one of the most comfortable seats out there for bigger sized people, the seat is not like the little seats on most exercise bikes, it is 15" at the widest and almost 11" to the front. Recumbent bikes of course have nice seats but due to a lot of metal in my rebuilt ankle I am unable to perform the dorsiflexion and plantar flexion that a recumbent requires. So, back to the bike at hand, it was super easy to put together ( I have included pictures) of parts, accessories and finished product. It is also pretty easy to move (which I had to do a lot for all my holiday parties). I can see where someone with shorter legs might have a little stretch, I am 5'8" with an inseam of 34" I have the seat on the second to the lowest level but of my course my knees do not fully extend and also, some may be able to just sit near the front edge of the seat whereas I am fully on it. The seat as I have it is, approx. 31" high from the floor and some people with mobility issues might find it difficult to mount/dismount. It is just like getting on to a mans bike (swinging your leg over) because especially for people of size, there is not a great deal of room between the seat and the frame. Don't get me wrong, it is a comfortable enough space to ride but not step through (in my opinion) . As for the stability and durability, seems great to me, very sturdy and does not make me nervous in the least and I am looking forward to a much healthier future with a machine I can actually use. I truly hope this helps someone. ; )
High Quality Product at a Decent Price
July 16, 2013
Let's break down the grading here by sections. FYI, I have had the bike for about 3 months and have logged 850 miles. I am roughly 5' 11" and have weighed between 250lbs and 228lbs in those three months.

1.) Assembly - 4.5/5
It took me (a non-handy desk worker with very little craftsman experience) roughly 25 minutes to put the bike together. A great deal of the assembly is done before you take it out of the box (the frame and handlebars are individually assembled). The one knock here is that the instructions could definitely be easier to follow, but it was still easier than following the instructions that come with a typical DIY desk or bookcase.

2.) Operation - 4.75/5
For the price, of course. I have had the bike for roughly 3 months and have logged roughly 850 miles. I can't speak on it's longevity past 850, but it is still running like it was the day I put it together. Very little noise, smooth pedaling, stationary (doesn't wobble), and easy to bring out/put away. The only thing holding it back from a "5/5" is the seat. It isn't exactly "comfortable," but it isn't awful either.

3.) Electronics - 3/5
It is pretty clear that the electronics were an afterthought for this product. This doesn't bother me, and it shouldn't bother you. You should *not* be using the HRM/Calorie counter on this bike. In fact, you probably shouldn't use a HRM/Calorie Counter on any exercise equipment that didn't cost you an arm and a leg. I generally use my own HRM (Polar), which often puts my actual calories at about 65-70% of what is listed. The mileage and speed seem to be fairly accurate. Overall, it's what you would (or should) expect from a relatively inexpensive piece of exercise equipment.

4.) Price - 5/5
When I purchased this product, the price was actually around 120.00$. I think it costs a bit more now, but it is (probably) still a tremendous price for a reliable and consistent machine. I have yet to see any give in the machine, and I do not think it is unreasonable to expect that it might give me 2+ years of service. For a bike with easy assembly, good operation, and this price, it's easily worth a purchase.

Edit - (August 1st, 2013) - It has been around 2 weeks (and an additional 200 miles) since I posted this review, and I just want to re-affirm how great this bike is. I've seen some recent reviews that say it has problems when you crank up the intensity, but I have not experienced this. On the two highest settings (both of which I have used extensively the last month or so), I have yet to experience any "clicking" or "belt fraying." It does go from whisper-quiet to mouse-in-church quiet, but, honestly, you would have to be searching for a problem to even notice. This bike has played a large role in my (still ongoing) weight loss. I have recommended it to 4 people, and the 3 that ended up purchasing it are even happier than I am.
Edit - (October 21st, 2013) - Well, it has been about 2 and 1/2 months since my last edit, and I'm still thrilled with this bike. I have now put around 2400 miles on it, and it is still running as well as it did on day 1. It is worth noting that the bike does become a little bit noisier as you up the resistance and speed. At full resistance and high speeds, you get the occasional creak and groan, but nothing that bothers me, personally. As an aside, this bike has become my primary form of exercise after a leg injury has limited my ability to run consistently, and I give this bike non-marginal credit for my extensive weight loss (250 to 200lbs). It is, unequivocally, the best purchase I have ever made on amazon and one of the best purchases I have ever made.
Was skeptical....

I rarely write a product review + or -, unless the product is REALLY good or REALLY poor--I'm also not the easiest consumer to impress. I am happy to write a REALLY good review for the Exerpeutic folding exercise bike. I am 6'2'' @ 215 lbs with long legs and cycled quite a bit before injuries and schedules became a bit too busy, so I do know a fair amount about bikes. I thought this might be more of a disposable bike, last a couple of years at best, be too wiggly, weak mechanics..that kind of thing, but quite the contrary, I am happily surprised by the quality of the entire product. The craftsmanship of the Exerpeutic folding exercise bike is very good, the frame tubes are heavy steel with good welds, the seat is large enough to have an extended ride comfortably (probably the most comfortable stationary bike seat I've used including expensive gym bikes), the bike has a wide stable "footprint" when opened but is also light enough to move from room to room if needed (has wheels on the base also),the internal mechanics are very good, the bike is very quiet and comfotable with plenty of leg room for proper body mechanics as well, the computer screen readout is practical and easy to see and use. This is in not a "yeah right, what a joke" bike, it is well constructed and was well thought out! I am in no way shape or form associated with the bike company, the seller, Amazon, or any party related in any way to this product, but I am please to review that I am impressed and very pleased with this bike!
Hope this revew helps anyone in the market looking for a great product at a great price!

I Love It !!!!
September 22, 2016
I just received my Sunny Twister Stepper and I absolutely love it. Gives you the right amount of resistance during your workout. Easy to move around. Don't occupy that much space. Extremely easy to put together and to move around. The price is affordable and this is a great sale point. I will encourage anyone to try it. You will not regret it.
This Is A Great Item.

My last Stepper broke and this one is a replacement for it. I love this item and use it every day. I have limited space in a small apartment, so this fits great.

Fold-to-Fit Mat
August 11, 2017
This mat was ordered when I purchased a ProGear exercise bike. I love the folds in the mat as it was way too long for the bike. The folds also make the mat easy to place in another location. I would recommend this mat for use under any exercise equipment, or for exercising on any floor. This purchase was well worth the cost.
Very Good purchase!
June 21, 2017
The mat ended up being the perfect length for what I needed so I didn't have to fold it over but as long as you need to fold it where marked it is easy to do. Will fold up nicely for moving or storage. A little thicker than a yoga mat. My cat enjoys laying on it, lol. Glad I purchased.**UPDATE**I still love this mat, so much that I ordered a second one for another piece of equipment I bought.I had a friend come over and saw the mat and liked it so much he is ordering a couple too. For the price these are really great!
Folding is a great feature
May 7, 2017
I paired this with my ProForm Elliptical. That model of elliptical folds up, so it's great that the mat is perforated a bit, allowing it to neatly fold, too. It is also thick enough, on my wood floor, to provide the support/anti rocking movement that my elliptical needs. I'd say if you wanted a mat to stretch out on on a hard floor (wood/tile) this is not going to be very comfortable. I'd get a yoga mat for that. If you sweat when you work out, like when lifting, this would be good for catching sweat... but not for catching weights (too thin).
Perfect for protecting carpet underneath exercise equipment
January 8, 2017
Bought this to go with Sunny Air Magnetic Rower, SF-RW5623. It fits perfectly underneath the rowing machine with plenty of overlap on the sides and ends to protect the carpeting.
Does the job. Maybe needs a few more fold marks.
June 23, 2016
This has an odd number of fold marks. I couldn't quite get it short enough under my new recumbent bike. It's also rather wider than needed. I didn't want to cut it at first, but I may do that, now that I know it works for me.It's well made, and very convenient. It's protecting my carpet (I looked). And it was a good price.
handy product
January 26, 2016
I use this mat to protect out hardwood floors when I'm working on projects around the house. It is effective, lightweight, and easy to store.UPDATE: We are very pleased with this product. After more than a year we now use it for an elliptical, so I'm buying another for general use (under work areas or ladders in situations where the floor requires protection). This is still a great mat, with no visible wear. It cleans easily, protects the floor well, and offers a firm and textured surface that is comfortable to the touch. And even better, you can easily fold it away when not in use.

Excellent Purchase. Highly recommend it.
June 28, 2016
I wanted to buy a rower because I had used one years ago at the gym and liked the way it worked. All the other machines either were too highly priced, or the reviews were not too convincing. The price on this one was very good and the reviews were good. So I gave it a try.
I am very pleased with it.
1st it was very well packed.
2nd it was very easy to assemble.
3rd it is so smooth and quiet I watch tv and
have no problem hearing the movie sound.
4th and most important, it is a great workout...I've had it for just under a month.
Use it everyday. Initially for 15 minutes. Now up to 50 minutes.
I started at level 1, that was easy. Progressed to now level 6. Works up a good sweat and my wife can see the difference. My arms are more shapely and a little bigger. And I've lost some belly fat. As far as weight loss. I have lost about 4 lbs.
I think the main difference is that these workouts mainly help turn fat into muscle. I am very glad I chose this Stamina Body Trac Glider 1050 Rower.
PS... I will add a video at a later date.
Only down sides are as many of the reviews pointed out the
1 pedals kept slipping off.
This is very easily, quickly and inexpensively corrected by buying a set of 2 Velcro strips, which I found at Lowe's for under $7 a pair.
Feet have not slipped off the pedals since.
2 due to the motion, I have a little bit of friction burn on my rear. I had an extre sheet of rubber floor padding left so I cut a piece to the shape of the seat, and it did relieve some of the burn.

This rower is an Excellent buy.
As the pros outweigh the cons.
I highly recommend it.

I would have given a 5 star if it would have come with 4 Velcro strips instead of 2. And if the seat were padded better.

Updated on 9/8/2016
It has been 3 months since I received and began working out on the Stamina Bodytrac
Guide 1050.
It is still by far one of the best, if not the best purchase I have made in the last 5 years.
I'm up to level 8. Doing 20 minutes a day.
I have lost weight, toned down & feel great.
That being said, you should incorporate, a healthy diet, some calisthenics, and you should workout regularly. I try to use the rower at least once a day. Though I miss days here and there.
Every so often you should lubricate with WD40.
Also, I suggest you go over the machine (bolts, screws) and make sure they are staying tight.
I do it at the end of each month.
Due to movement and vibration, some may loosen although it is minimal.
Fantastic Machine Quality and Price...
Huge thumbs up!!!
Good machine WHEN it works.
May 8, 2016
The good: this rower replicates an actual rowing experience pretty well, which I like because I rowed in my college days. It has a minimal foot print and works well even after 10 years (I didn't row for some of those years).

Neutral: I use it at a medium setting, I use it more as a heart pumping exerciser than a strength building exerciser. Given it has only one piston, and the pivoting mechanisms are a bit fragile, I don't think it's meant for really strong people or people who enjoy working with high resistance. I read one review where the person broke the main pivoting bolt, and some reviews where plastic bushing shavings appeared after work-outs.

The bad: There are two problems with this machine, both of which you can work-around.

The lesser problem is the foot straps, only one pair of shoes I own works well with the straps such that my feet stay in the foot rests. The company that makes this machine apparently has another different pair of foot rests/straps, which probably allow you to exercise with another pair of shoes that work.

The biggest problem is the pivoting mechanism under the machine which has PLASTIC bushings. Those bushings WILL wear out, either fast when you're strong and work with high resistance, or over time. The company should have used metal bushings, but that would have increased the price by a few dollars and would make the product last too long. You can order new bushings, and when they arrive you'll find out they are the wrong ones and they don't fit and you can't put the machine back together. This is the end of the machine for the average person. If you have access to a grinder, you can grind down the bushing 1/32 of an inch and then you can put the pivoting mechanism back together. The company refuses to acknowledge they sent me the wrong bushings, twice, and refuses to admit the new bushings don't work. The picture, if you can see it, has the old bushing on the right, the new bushing on the left, obviously not the same bushings.

Conclusion: great machine for people in reasonable shape WHEN it works. Foot rests require you to find shoes that work. Pivoting bushings wear out and you need a grinder to make new bushings work. Not a good machine for strong people. Product support is helpful at first but bails at the first sign of trouble.
Great after small Mod
January 17, 2015
Great machine for the price. I too had the problem with my shoes slipping out of the foot straps. The back rim isn't tall enough. However, for about $1 you can mod the peddles for a quick fix. I cut a 4" PVC end cap in half and bolted them to the peddles as shown in the attached photo. Works great and fits my big shoes.

An excellent choice
June 2, 2017
Love the bike! I took one star off the rating bc it, in fact, was NOT super easy to assemble. Took quite a while and instructions weren't as clear as they could have been. And also... It says NEVER PEDDLE BACKWARDS... which, to me, sounds weird.

The bike itself though is veerrrrrrrrrry good. Pretty light, only slightly bulky/difficult to move around (I probably only have difficulty moving it around bc my right wrist is broken but even I can manage it). It rides silently and smoothly, the resistance settings are fun, the levels 1&2 are easy, bump it up to 3 for any length and really feel the burn and then the hardest setting feels like you're peddling uphill through the snow pulling a wagon filled with bricks haha. Good times.
I am VERY happy with this purchase and recommend it to anyone. I feel like it's an excellent choice and a great price!
Solid bike for the price.
March 19, 2017
Nice exercise bike; simple assembly took maybe 1/2 hour, solid construction, you sit forward on the seat anyway so no worries about the size of it, silent, resistance works smoothly just click it forward on the dial, burns more calories in 15 minutes than on the treadmill-probably double the calories, very low impact especially if you don't add resistance. Does not calculate in the resistance when it totals your calories, so you'll just have to guess what you're really burning. My 80 year old dad loves it, says it helps with his hip problems, does it 3 times a week! If it wears out in a year buy another, so what.
I am 61 and not in the best of shape 5ft 8 inch 197 lbs
January 8, 2017
bought this bike have worked with it for a week now , I am 61 and not in the best of shape 5ft 8 inch 197 lbs. I am a truck driver , working 14 hr days with no exercise it was time to do at least something. If you are in decent shape I would go to a better product, but for those of all that has let yourself go, this is a very good starting spot. As I was trying to get a decent bike for me all the complaints seems to come from the seat, this bike has a bigger seat. My only problem is the tingling of the family jewels it last about 5 mins after I am through [I had the same thing when I rode a road bike]must be me. Easy to put together and everything works and is very quite but its all new. I think for a beginner this bike works fine 4 stars never give 5 with such little time on new product
after 3 weeks I am still thinking it is going to fit my needs, the clicking did start ,but in my bike its NOT FROM THE FAN it comes from the main bolt where the handle bars and the seat come together. If I pull back on the handle bars while riding it goes away, so I simply tighten all the bolts, it something you should do on everything you buy new retighten all bolts. don't forget to retighten the seat.
I bike 5 miles a day, to start after 17 years of doing nothing , that's my starting point until it comes easy for me ,I try to start at 10 mph and increase it through out until the last mile and a half at 15 mph {per read out} @ a setting of 3 1/2as this comes easy I will step it up. As for a star rating I will leave it 4 for now, still to early judging by others reviews to go higher.
Great bike for the price!
August 27, 2015
This bike is a great buy for the price. It was easy to set up and easy to fold away. I've read others say that you shouldn't trust the calorie counter and I would agree, but if you are looking for a simple bike than this it perfect. It is quiet and the seat is comfortable, which are big pluses in my book.
Good Workout, Good Price
August 23, 2015
I bought this to keep myself in shape when I'm not able to go out riding on local MTB trails. It has replaced a very old fan wheel / chain driven exercise bike that was starting to fall apart. So far I've put around 150 miles on it and it's held up well. Putting the bike together took about 20 minutes, and all necessary tools have been included. If you've got an impact driver with a few different sized nut drivers and sockets I'd imagine you could do it in 10 minutes.

The bike performs well enough, but the ergonomics are a bit wacky as another reviewer points out. The pedals aren't situated like they would be on a regular bike, instead they are closer to being underneath the handlebars of the unit. This doesn't matter much to me, but could for you so keep it in mind. I store this in the corner of a home gym and move it out in front of a television when I use it, due to it's light weight this is not difficult. The cyclocomputer attached to the unit isn't anything to write home about. It does keep track of distance per ride, overall distance (up to 999 miles I believe), current speed, and calories burned (probably not too accurate - same goes for the pulse reading feature). I enjoy being able to quickly switch resistance, however anything above a 5 on the scale of 1-8 isn't a smooth or enjoyable ride.

Overall I'd recommend this to others. It does have small quirks and isn't on par with a higher quality $500 + stationary bike, but that wasn't what I was willing to shell out. I'm glad I bought it as it's done exactly what I needed it to do.

Stepper was easy to setup
June 30, 2016
Stepper was easy to setup. However after about two uses the product began to squeak very loudly. Consulted manual and they recommend oiling certain parts. I did so but the noise continued for two to three more workouts and eventually stopped. Overall I enjoy using the stepper and I get a nice workout.

Ordered this stepper to help build muscle in leg after broken knee surgery. It has worked very wellfor me and is easy to use and store away when not in use. My husband had no trouble putting it together andis also using the stepper.
Ok for the money (~$60)

First stepper had one of the hydro live break after a week. Amazon replaced it for free however and it has been fine for the past month.
So far so good
March 13, 2014
Bought this to tone hips, thighs, and butt plus to get some low impact cardio. So far it's doing a good job with all that, and the side-to-side motion is just enough -- enough torque to feel a stretch, but not too twisty on the joints. I haven't put any tension on the resistance cable because I just started using it, and it gives good resistance so far. I'm starting with 15-20min workouts a few times a week and see how it goes. The only drawback of the machine is that the handlebars are wobbly, but that could be a fault in the assembly process. Sometimes I don't use the handlebars at all to challenge my balance, so that's OK. Definitely a good little device for the money - so far.

great product with wired registration requirements

the mat itself is great and we put our elliptical machine on it which fits very well. my only complaint was the product/warranty registration website that asks for product number and serial number. I looked through everywhere on the mat but could not find it.
Perfect for Bowflex M5. Folds are a great feature!
June 9, 2017
Perfect as a base for our BowFlex M5 trainer. The folds are definitely a nice bonus feature. I am able to fold the ends up in order to shorten the mat to match the footprint of the machine. No tail ends sticking out. Conforms very nicely. I would definitely recommend this over other mats that can't fold to match the footprint of the machine you put it under.
Does its job.

This rubber mat arrived when expected, as expected. I bought it to put underneath my small portable elliptical machine, to provide some cushion and traction against the basement floor. It is light and easy to maneuver. I like the guide-lines that it has, so that you can fold it to whatever size you need by even sections. However, I'm annoyed that I can't fold it directly in half. There are an odd number of "sections" so there isn't a guide-line to be folded down the middle. Minor inconvenience.

It seems to be working out fine. We use it under our treadmill and over our hardwood floor. Works well for that purpose.
Good workout mat for hardwood floors, but slick when wet!
August 18, 2014
Having hardwood floors can hurt while doing a workout. They also don't provide much grip. I thought of getting the puzzle-piece mats but after reading that they tend to move everywhere and separate during plyometric (jumping) moves, I decided to get the biggest one-piece mat at a decent price. I don't care that it folds, but it does grip well. Small amount of cushioning, so you won't roll your ankle or anything.Only 2 problems:1. it slips out of place a little when on the hardwood floor. 2. It gets VERY slick when wet. The only way to prevent this is to towel up your sweat right when it hits the mat, or to just towel yourself off before the sweat starts getting really bad. The good part is that it dries fairly quickly, especially if you have a fan over it.Overall, I think I'd buy another one just so that I could use it while the other is drying, and switch off between exercises. Its a good product.
It's a good product
May 7, 2013
I was looking for a mat to use when I do exercise videos in my living room. The movement of my feet during exercise was causing my carpet to shed, so I wanted to keep my carpet in good shape. This mat is pretty good for that purpose, it is long enough and wide enough to cover a good area of my carpet. However, because of how it folds in those 5 sections, the creases stay creased and it trips me up while I'm exercising. I'm hoping they eventually lessen, but considering it's so big that I have to keep it folded when I'm storing it, I doubt those creases will go away. Also, the mat does not stay in one place. so i constantly have to move it back in place. I realize this mat I guess was designed for equipment to sit on instead of as an exercise mat but I thought that maybe it would be multi-functional. It's ok, I'm still using it and making it work for me.

While it does give a good workout, I've had to contact the company's support ...
May 2, 2016
I've had this machine for about 7 months. While it does give a good workout, I've had to contact the company's support group for replacement parts at least 3 times. While they are quick to respond, and didn't charge me for the parts or to ship them, this only applied during the 90 day warranty period, and you must fill out the warranty form online or through the email. The issue is that the 2 rowing arms attach to the frame via tension knobs, but the threading only goes through one side of the arm, and with regular use, that threading becomes stripped. They should have welded a steel nut inside the pipe, instead of just using the thin wall to hold the arm in place. If you are planning on using this rower frequently, then I'd consider investing in a more durable one.

January 9, 2016
I was looking for a rowing machine that would be slim and light enough to take out or put away for whenever I wanted to get a quick work out at home. I was impressed by the price and the overall reviews for the machine, despite some negative trends in the feedback, I decided to purchase the machine anyway to see whether it was worth the price.Although the machine is sturdy, and does the trick for a good cardio workout, it really does feel quite flimsy. I'm 5 4' and 118 lbs, and when I'm using the machine, there's all sorts of squeaks and rickety sounds. That can be distracting, especially when I'm using the machine as a de-stressor. I've had the rowing machine for 2 months now, and I've used it perhaps once a week. I can already see some wear in the seat and the parts of the machine. I suppose you're getting what you've paid for, which is fine if you don't plan on using it for long stretches and daily use. Otherwise, I would suggest looking for a sturdier machine. The set up is also not ideal, in that you have to unscrew and screw the bars in place for a work out, and when putting it away (upright in the garage, in my case) you have to unscrew and screw the bars again to keep them from dropping when the machine ins being moved.
cheap, works ok .. but quirky and damaged .. dissapointed!
November 13, 2015
I like the price. But during the installation yesterday the assembly person found that the seat had a rip .. and one of the handle screw plastic head is broken. Also the assembly guy didn't seem to be training to give a good product demo, after the assembly .... And the manual is not at all clear about how to fold the handles for storing....Didn't expect this for an Amazon-vendor-product.
Could get an excellent workout IF...
May 13, 2015
I am an avid rower and have trained on various types of machines in the past. This rower would provide a very thorough and satisfying workout IF...For one, the clock actually worked. It stays on zero. (I actually tried hitting it hard like another reviewer mentioned. Yeah, that didn't work.) Two, if the foot rests were designed by an actual rower. Sadly, with seemingly little thought in mind, these foot rests were designed (by someone that has surely never rowed) and placed upon an otherwise excellent machine. Why are the sides of the foot rests taller than the back where the heel rests?? I am so disappointed that my feet pop out CONSTANTLY. I can row hard for about five seconds and then "Oh, no...there goes a foot again"! I shouldn't have to spend time trying to figure out a way to make a product work. I Might have to buy more Velcro to somehow lock my feet in to place. This machine will provide an excellent workout if you can figure out how to keep your feet strapped in. Good luck.On a positive, and my reason for the even 3 stars despite the above major complaint, It glides smoothly and feels like you are really rowing with the use of the "oars" (vs the ergs with one pulley bar). Also, I am 6'1" and this is one of the few pieces of exercise equipment that is actually long enough for me to get a great workout on....again, if I can manage to figure out a way to stay on it.I really am saddened to say that one SIMPLE little alteration in the design of the foot rests would have earned this rower an easy 5 stars. I am unfortunately forced to give it a 3 star rating, due to the lack of thought in it's design, and THEN do what the individual that designed it SHOULD have done and make it better somehow.
Best product to price ratio on Amazon, but painful without modification
March 3, 2015
First up, a warning: without modifying the foot holders, this product is PAINFUL to use. My feet were bleeding after a single use wearing socks. I ended up 3D printing my own foot holders for it, but if you aren't prepared or able to do some modification on yours, you should consider purchasing a better designed rowing machine like this one: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003YPZWT2/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B003YPZWT2&linkCode=as2&tag=todmedblo-20&linkId=ELSYURL4CCMJBHVAPROS:- small and light / convenient to store- inexpensive- compatible with a wide variety of workout needs (adjustable tension) and body sizes (big and small)CONS:- seat and foot holders are not well padded. Prepare to be uncomfortable. (no pain no gain?)- creaks a lot while in useWould I buy this rowing machine again? If I'm on a tight budget, yes. For this price, there's simply no good competition. If I was willing to spend a bit more, though, I'd prefer to get something a bit higher quality (like the above Air Rower) that doesn't need any modifications to be usable.
Has its flaws, but good machine for the money
January 5, 2015
For this price, this is a pretty good machine. It does, however, have it's issues.Cons:1. As several other reviews state, the foot pedals suck. I thought that since I'm a tall woman with size 8.5 feet, I'd be fine. Nope. It didn't matter how tightly I pulled the velcro straps, my feet wouldn't stay. Since I knew ahead of time that this could be an issue, I was only mildly frustrated. I now keep some long strips of fabric (I use old t-shirt scraps) to act as a second tie. I wrap them around both the pedal and my foot and then double knot it and I'm all set to row.2. Also having to do with the foot pedal -- on the second day I had this machine, my husband decided to try it. When he went to tighten the velcro strap on his foot, the whole plastic part holding the strap broke off. So now we can't even use that strap. Again, I knew I would have problems with this, so the addition of the fabric straps work fine.3. The seat squeaks. It's not terribly loud, but it's enough to drive you a little crazy. If you wear earbuds while rowing, you can drown it out. Not a deal breaker, just an annoyance.Pros:1. Real rowing motion, not just a t-bar like several machines have.2. 12 levels of resistance3. Low cost compared to other machines4. Easy to move room to room - I can move it myself with no problem5. Great full body workout!Overall, it's not the best machine, but it's a great workout for the amount of money spent. Even knowing the issues I've had, I'd still buy it again instead of spending 4x the amount for another machine.

Easy to put together
August 17, 2016
Easy to put together, only complaint I have is that it's not really suited for short people. I'm 5'0", so I expected to have to lower the seat, but even at the lowest setting possible, my feet still barely reach the pedals. I can still use it, but it's super uncomfortable.
easy if you follow instructions with details
December 14, 2015
Received today and already assembled, easy if you follow instructions with details.
I like the bike, try it and is easy to use, seat is not the best, but no surprise if you read the feedback.

But it came with the plastic top shroud broken (Part No. 020).

The plastic part was broken before the bike was pack since all the pieces are not inside the box.
I checked inside the mechanism and recovered one piece, but still missing one part. (See photos)
Would be nice if it is possible to get the replacement. Will see.
Mostly Solid, but You Get What You Pay For
August 19, 2015
I’ll start off by saying that I’ve geared this review toward customers who anticipate using this bike seriously, frequently, and at moderate to high intensity.I began riding this bike in January, and through semi-regular use, I put 315 miles on it by mid-March. Life got in the way, and I didn't ride again until June 2nd. From that date through early-August, I put an additional 770 miles on. To work toward my fitness and weight loss goals, I adhered to the following 35 minute regimen, six days per week:I would warm up for five minutes at the easiest resistance on the dial (1 out of 8), followed by medium to high intensity intervals of Resistance 3, 5, 3, 5, 3, 5 for five minutes each. I went hard, got a GREAT workout, and lost 30 pounds in the process. So why am giving a 3 Star Review for such outstanding results? Here's what went wrong:At 625 miles, the rubber pedal strap (the piece that holds your foot in place) snapped. It's a cheap part, and though I was out of the manufacturer's warranty, I called Exerpeutic [at (844) 641-7921], and their rep was kind enough to send me a new pair of straps free of charge. Shipping took less than a week and the straps arrived in perfect condition.Around 1,050 miles, the flywheel began to make kind of a whirring and clicking noise at any resistance at or above 5. The flywheel is visible through the top of the compartment it's housed in, and I could see that it began to wobble in there. Previously, I loved that the ride was smooth and whisper quiet. At 1,075 miles, the pedal strap mount (the piece that holds the strap to the pedal) broke off, and took a chunk of the cheap plastic pedal with it (pictured in my attached image). After that, I used an elaborate contraption made of multiple strips of duct tape to hold my foot on the pedal. When I bought this bike, I also purchased an exended warranty from SquareTrade, and I'm glad I did! I called them to see what could be done about the flywheel and broken pedal, and the rep that I worked with deemed that the cost of shipping the bike and its repair was prohibitive... and he agreed to refund me the entire value of the product! (You can read my 5 Star review “A+ Customer Service, Very Good Experience, with a Little Bit of a Wait” of that experience here). I asked him what I needed to do with the bike, and he quipped "What everyone else does... use it to hang your laundry!"To sum up, here are my Pros and Cons of this Exerpeutic Upright Bike:***Pros***• Basic console, the original AAA batteries still haven’t worn out• Sturdy, shake-free ride, even at high speeds/intensity• Ergonomically sound and comfortable• Folds-up to save space• Smooth and quiet• Simple assembly***Cons***• Mileage on the console resets to 0.0 after 999.9 miles, I would have liked five digits• HUGE proprietary seat, which can’t be swapped out for a standard seat or saddle• Not durable for more than light to medium intensity rides, a few times per week• The 9/16ths pedals are cheap pre-molded plastic• Cheap rubber pedal strapsThis is a great bike for those who are just looking to get into stationary cycling, or maintain their current weight. If you’re looking for a piece of equipment that’ll take a lickin’ and keep on tickin’, I’d say you’re better off looking at higher quality (and yes, higher priced) options.Feel free to leave me a comment or question, I’m happy to add anything else you’d like to know about the product. Thanks for taking the time to read my review, hopefully this information was useful!
Well Constructed But Difficult Assembly
April 7, 2015
I just got this device yesterday, so I'm shooting off the cuff here based of first impressions. Actually, it is made pretty well it seems for a "Made in China" item. The build quality seems solid, the way-oversized seat ( I'm sure they took into account some HUGE cheeks being draped across it) could have been made a little more durable. It would have been nice they used a standard round seat post so it could be retro-fitted with a quality, actual bicycle seat that would give a much better workout. As it is, it's sort of like sitting on a sofa and pedaling a recumbent bike. The "crank" should be more directly underneath the seat. The bike operates very silently by using the magnetic resistance. I just wonder if this system will hold up in the long run.
One major gripe I had, was the assembly. Screwing the pedal shafts into the crank arms took a herculean effort! The wimpy little stamped-metal wrench supplied was a joke here. I had to find a huge, heavy adjustable wrench, lubricate both the male and female threads, and then have someone hold the opposite crank arm with all their might in order to get the shafts threaded in completely. It's as if the threaded surfaces had been painted AFTER the threads were cut which made threading them together almost impossible. I'll update this review after some usage to see how it holds up to the wear and tear of actual use.
Well-built bike........not the best bio-mechanics
July 5, 2013
I am a former personal trainer so I hope my comments are useful to interested buyers. The build quality of the bike is excellent; however the main drawback of the bike is its bio-mechanics, or the way it interacts with your body when you are cycling.

Regarding build quality---the bike is made of excellent materials for the most part, and is a solid piece of machinery. The bike is very sturdy and stable when you're cycling. I had never owned a magnetic resistance bike before, so I was a little nervous about the concept. But I am very impressed with the quiet, smooth pedaling action of the bike at all levels of resistance. I am in average physical condition, and the bike provides more than enough resistance at level 4 to 6 (out of 8) to give me a good workout.

The main problem with the bike is the bio-mechanics, i.e. the way your body interacts with the bike. Here are some of the reasons:

1) It is not truly an upright bike (such as a regular road bike). The pedals are too far forward. The bike is a cross between an upright and recumbent bike, however there is no seatback to lean back against. The pedals are so far forward, you are pushing them away from your body to some extent. This may put more stress on your unsupported back. Also, because of the forward pedal position, it is very difficult to get full range of motion (ROM) without being uncomfortable, especially with the extra wide seat. Full ROM is when your legs are almost straight at the bottom of the pedal stroke, but not locked. Full ROM makes any exercise more effective. However people with injuries or joint problems should generally limit their ROM--so this may not be an issue for those people.

2) The seat may be too wide for some individuals, since your legs may not entirely clear the seat on the down stroke and your thighs may rub against the seat. That's one of the main reasons road bikes have narrow seats. I have to sit forward on the seat to be comfortable.

3) The seat gets hard for me after riding for about 30 minutes. The design of this seat is very different than that of a typical road bike seat. The seat is pretty low tech. It's made of a triangular plywood base covered with foam. The foam feels like upholstery grade foam. The plywood base is bolted directly to the seat post, with no shock absorption system. Also the seat is perfectly flat and not contoured to fit your bottom. When I ride the bike for more than 30 minutes (sometimes less) I can feel my "sit bones" sinking into the foam, and my center bottoming out. I'm not saying that will happen to you. It depends on your anatomy and other factors. The rub (pun intended) is that higher tech bike seats are made of firmer materials, including denser rubberized foam that supports your weight better and collapses less. A cushy seat is not necessarily better when it comes to a bike seat.

The bike has some very positive features (including the low price) and seems to work well for a lot of people. I just wanted to point out that there are also some issues to consider. Whether or not these issues affect you depends a lot on your anatomy and how you use the bike.

It's a nice machine for the price and easy to assemble
April 25, 2017
It's a nice machine for the price and easy to assemble. The 4 allen head bolts did strip slightly during installation. I believe the tool they sent to assemble is not sized correctly to the bolt heads, and therefore the heads stripped a bit. I requested they send me 4 new bolts and the tool of the correct size. I'll improve my rating if they come through with the bolts and tool.
I like this stair stepper
September 2, 2016
I like this stair stepper. I get a good work out. It's worth the price. I would like the hand bars to come up a little more for me. I'm 5'5 and I don't think it's designed for a much taller person.
Just bought Sunny Twister Stepper.
April 23, 2016
Just arrived. Time and effort to assemble reasonable. First test indicates that I should be able to do this ok. My plan is to incorporate this into my treadmill routines. I was prompted to buy this by disconcerting difficulty doing stairways when needed.
It's ok

Well, I have osteoarthritis and this did not work out well for me. My husband liked it ok. I think just walking you do do the same thing
good value, annoying squeaky noise
August 19, 2014
It gets the job done as a cheap stepper. Frame's decently stable, calorie counter works. But I get this constant squeaking noise when I step, which is rather annoying. (I'm 5'2, size 6, I'd like to lose 2-4 dress sizes, but i doubt it's squeaking from weight issues)Also, it's a stepper, not exactly an elliptical replacement if you are looking for one like I was. The motion's not as smooth as an elliptical. Not a huge deal if you have a TV in front of you and lots of time. but if you want to get a lot of calories burned in half an hour get an elliptical instead.
stepper
April 26, 2014
I am only giving this 3 stats because the stepper is awesome and I do love it. but it didn't come with the handle bar so I was extrememly disappointed. It still works well. I bought for my daughter and I tried it out and if it wasn't for my bad knees I would get one for myself because you can really feel it working just being on a few minutes. so it does work well but like I said no handlebar came with it and I don't like when I buy something especially online and its not exactly what it says . I wont bother to return it because that's just a big hassell so I just sucked it up .

Size is fine and thickness is good. But after a few months it still doesn't lay flat on the floor - the ridges you see in the product photo are still there. Not a big deal except my Roomba gets hung up on it!

February 2, 2017
I would give these a much higher rating but unfortunately these have some sort of slick coating on them, so don't sweat on them and expect to be doing any jump squats... I've cleaned them twice with soap and water which has helped, but they are still twice as slick as my old Golds Gym mat that looks identical and likely made in the same factory. Note for context - I use these as a base for a standard yoga mat, cycling rollers, rowing machine, and free weights in my garage. They fold nicely so they are easy to tuck away when not in use.
it's more like a Yoga mat
June 3, 2016
Honestly, it's more like a Yoga mat. It's a lot thinner than I expected. It protects hardwood floors and relieves some pressure on the carpet; but it doesn't prevent my workout equipment from "bleeding through" and leaving indents in my carpet. It does it's job but it's certainly not worth $30
Good mat for placement under treadmill
May 28, 2013
I bought this mat for use under our new treadmill in the garage. The floor was concrete so I wanted a mat to reduce vibration when running. This product works well, but is fairly stiff. Despite being on the floor for a couple months now, it's still not lying flat in the folds (similar to the way it looks in the picture). I find myself trying to pull it flat every once in a while, but it seems that it will always have that recently folded look. For me this really isn't much of an issue as the treadmill only contacts the mat at four points, so as long as these areas are flat under the feet, it's serving the purpose I needed it to. If using the mat for something like yoga, or stretching, I would look for something a little thicker and pliable.Overall, for the price, I am happy with the purchase.

Good Construction but after a couple week of using the rower. The dial stop working or just doesn't increasethe tension anymore. So the workout is not really a workout at all. To easy to row because no tension onrowing arms.
I still use it and just keep my feet on the ground but I don't know if Im getting as good a workout that way
August 17, 2016
The rower itself works but the digital monitor I received malfunctions. It resets itself every few seconds so I'm not able to track my progress which is a bummer. My feet slip out of the foot pads also so I can't use them. I'm 5'3 so if you're short this isn't the rower for you. I still use it and just keep my feet on the ground but I don't know if Im getting as good a workout that way. If I had the choice, I wouldn't purchase this again.
Two thumbs meh
October 17, 2015
After having used a gym rower, this will feel ridiculous. The range of motion for the legs that actually has resistance is very, very minimal, there's no feeling of having worked out with this equipment. The resistance adjustment is for the arm rower part only. So, about the second half of the leg extension feels resistance, but that's it, and the resistance doesn't go all that high so even that half range is kind of wimpy. I was a dummy for expecting a gym-like piece of equipment for this price, so it's my own fault. If it was cost effective to send it back, I would, but I think I'm stuck with it. At least it doesn't take up much space. If you're looking for a light workout that is mostly upper body, this would be fine for you.
You'll outgrow it very quickly
July 31, 2015
PROS:- It is compact; it can be easily stored upright in a closet, or beneath a tall bed.- It is comfortable for the most part.CONS:- The resistance levels are weak and inconsistent. The shock mechanism that controls resistance loses power after some use leaving you coasting through a good portion of your workout. I reached the highest level within days, possibly because of the weak shock system.- The wheel that rolls the seat becomes very noisy. I have to oil it every other workout.
Poorly built with cheap parts that break
February 10, 2015
Purchased 8/2014 and this product broke twice in five months. The first instance was a bolt sheering in half. This occurred within the warranty period and a replacement part was sent for free. The second instance was the main shock separating from the machine and being pulled apart at the point of the weld. This cost $24 to replace and ship. Typical use was 1000 reps twice a week at 80% resistance. This product was purchased as an inexpensive way to try a rowing machine and see if it is something I like and would use. It met that need and when it breaks beyond repair I plan on purchasing a different, better constructed machine. Customer service was easy to reach and replacement parts were sent quickly, of course I wish I wouldn't need them in the first place. Functionally the machine was fine and I got a good workout for arms, abs, shoulders and legs. But there was a lot of wiggle in the parts, even when tightened, and you have to strap your feet in VERY tightly otherwise they easily slip out of the foot pads. I'd recommend this for light or introductory use but nothing more serious than that. It is just too poorly constructed with inferior parts and metals for regular, long-term use.
Works, but with some challenges
February 17, 2013
I have had this product 30 days. I've averaged 15-20 minutes per day, after initial assembly problems were resolved (see #2 below). BOTTOM LINE: This works as expected, but there are a few quality and design challenges.1. Item arrived in a flimsy and nearly destroyed box. It is only by luck that the bag of small parts did not get lost in transit.2. Assembly seemed to go okay -- took me about 35-40 minutes -- but there was a missing bolt and one of the plastic parts arrived completely snapped from its bolt. (By completing a form on the manufacturer's website, I received free replacement parts in 6 business days.)3. At 5'4" and with a size 6.5 shoe, the included foot straps barely secure my toes. To stabilize my feet I added Velcro straps about 3 inches below the original ones. Cost: $10 and 30 minutes of sewing/assembly.4. The squeak started after only 20-30 minutes of total use. It turned into a squeal after about an hour of total use. Using graphite lubricant on the roller track seems to have solved this.5. The seat is uncomfortable. Not only is it exceedingly hard, it is slippery. About every 4-5 minutes I have to pause to readjust my position in the seat.6. Being 5'4", I feel like the range of motion is not as good as it could be. I end up hitting the front stop sooner than feels right, and I have a full foot 0f unused track when my legs are fully extended.7. While this does store upright, it still has a considerable footprint. It's also a little awkward/heavy for me to carry up-/downstairs.Otherwise this performs as expected. Hindsight being what it is, I would probably spend a little more next time to avoid these issues.

Console problems
August 14, 2017
I purchased on 3/28/17. Item arrived on time, assembly was pretty easy, adjusting the seat to my height (I'm 5'7") wasn't a problem even though some of the reviews had issues with the seat height, bike was quiet and it was an over all great bike. However, after only 5 1/2 months of use the console stopped working. Also when the console did work I'd have to completely remove the batteries to get the console to completely reset. If didn't once I stopped for the day the pulse and speed would stop. Once I resumed cycling the calorie counter and distance would resume from the last cycling session instead of starting the count from zero. However now that the console has completely gone up after less than 6 months I would recommend this bike.
Initial quality seemed good. It assembled easily
January 23, 2017
Initial quality seemed good. It assembled easily, and is solid. Upon initial use, it seemed very smooth and quiet. Adjustable resistance worked well. Now, after one week of use (5 times at 30 minutes each time), there is a "thumping" sound coming from the flywheel/magnet area upon every evolution of the pedal. It is getting louder, very distracting, and VERY DISAPPOINTING. I guess I will continue to use it until it breaks, and then try to find another exercise bike.
Assembly problem

The left threaded hole - for the pedal shaft - had an imperfect thread. This prevented the pedal shaft from being attached easily. Although the right pedal shaft went on with no problem, the left pedal shaft could only be attached by using EXTREME force and two sets of vice grip plyers.
This was after I had cleaned all of the threads with a wire brush in an attempt to remove particles which may have been causing the problem.
The problem with the defective thread was extreme - I'm not sure how I got it together. Now that it's finally assembled, I like the unit very much. The basic assembly is fairly easy - but the left threaded hole was/is defective on my unit.
I have to wear fashion sneakers to bike
January 14, 2015
Seat cushioning is not good. The overall height is NOT for user who is shorter than 5'2". I have to wear fashion sneakers (with wedge height) in order to use it. Assembly instruction is not intuitive.
However, the exercise is good. Resistance adjustment is reasonable. Should help maintain overall good well being. Not for "Iron-man" or "Tour de France training.
So hard to re-package and I gave up returning it.
Will use it occasionally.
Low confidence in product. Noisy, rattly.
May 13, 2014
First off - The bike came with some cosmetic damage. The plastic 'shell' housing the main components was chipped and the two pieces were poorly seated. I needed to flex the plastic to get it to seat well and then I had to tighten the loose bolts.

For the first 15 miles on the odometer or so the bike performed excellently. After about 15 miles, the bike became very noisy. Between a periodic clicking and a sound similar to baseball cards in bike spokes, the bike drowns out the TV. The coil or whatever inside the bike rattles significantly when cycling.

Unfortunately between the cosmetic damage and the incipient loud noise, I've lost confidence in the long term stability of the product. My enjoyment of the bike went down significantly after the loud noise began after only about 15 miles into the odometer.

But, the resistance settings are nice and the computer settings are well laid out. It assembled easily. It feels sturdy. The seat and peddles fit me well and I'm a very tall person - 6'5". It folds nicely for storage. It's lightweight - I pick it up and move it around rather than using the wheels.

It's just a shame that it's so noisy.

Very flimsy.

The computer function does not accurately keep track i.e., I excercised for 30 mins., the time registered was only 5 mins. It does not count the steps or give a good calorie count. The handle is also very wobbly.

Within a month of having this, it started to make a horrible squeaking noise. I put in maybe 8000 steps and I suppose that's a lot for some put I genuinely thought this would hold up a bit better

Though I bought it for my brother, after 3 weeks it started squeaking and I don't know how or where I should tell him to oil it. He says it's very noisy and he weighs about 180 pounds. Also, the computer showing the rate, calories, distance, etc. never worked! He changed batteries twice so that wasn't the issue it was just defective from the the time of purchase. Lastly the adjustment for the height was a little too short. You can only raise it so much and it wasn't high enough for someone over 5'7 inches.
Broke after 6 weeks
April 14, 2013
The part where the cable attach to the foot arm (left side) cracked. Took it apart and found that it was a steel bar (stamped with a "Q") that slide through the foot arm and inside was a hole drilled through the bar so the foot arm sides onto the main frame but the crack started from the center on the hole. I think the steel was not 100% and when the hole was drill in made a mirco crack and after 64,000 steps it failed. It did not fully come off, 1/2 of it cracked then it twisted and the way it twisted I could not use an allen wentch and had to get the dremel out. It can be fixed if I can get my hands on an arc welder and bodge it together. For when it worked. The 1st week full of squeaky, was able to get rid with some garage door grease that but then the step counter would not work right, I had to move the magnet to get it working. After that it was good. It is a good machine but they just need to do a bit better on welding the steel and shoring up the stress points to make it last. I would have given it 3 1/2 stars, the squeaky was bad when I got it, then there was the step counter problem.

August 21, 2016
After sitting for around 1.5 years on a wood floor with my elliptical on it, it left quite a bit of sticky black residue on the wood floor where the elliptical had been on it. The residue came off, but I wish it was more durable.
Definitely not for heavy ellipticals on carpet.
March 15, 2016
Seems to be made decent but do not use for elliptical on carpet. It makes the machine very unsteady because the material is very flimsy. Should be fine on hard surfaces. It is a great size but I had to fold the corners in to give it a little stronger support. The machine still rocks a little, which it didn't when on carpet only. The corners folded in helps a little. Pics added to show what I mean.Only 2 stars because description said it works for carpet and ellipticals. Waste of time and money for me.

The product seems sturdy, yet it has a very bad odor that doesn't go away for a considerable amount of time! It smell gets better, but it seems to always have that rubbery burnt tire smell!
but went ahead and ordered them anyway based on good reviews. Well
August 14, 2015
I ordered two of these to go under a bench and a rower. I was afraid the folds might be a problem, but went ahead and ordered them anyway based on good reviews. Well, they are actually a problem....the mats never sit nice and flat against the floor. They are pretty thin so any weight makes them curl up like you would expect and any movement; and I mean ANY movement makes the folds push up for a trip hazard. Also, there is no way they will stay together if you try them side by side....any activity or weight makes them shift around so there is always an uneven gap between them.I'm using them but just for a carpet protector and since it's just me working out, it is tolerable...but just barely.

September 24, 2017
somewhat easy to put together but the foot pedals to hold your feet in placed never worked - feet kept slipping out, husband tried it and it would not hold his feet either. and the and the counter can not be reset - so it will keep track of all the reps done for that day and previous days combined. Not worth the money
Looks nice but will fall apart
April 3, 2017
Started out well, but both bolts that attach to the handles broke within a few months, then just today after about 6 months the connection the piston made with the base under the seat snapped and I flew off the back.Looks nice and works for a little while but after less than 9000 reps it is completely useless.
Row, row, rowing piece of garbage.
April 24, 2016
Poorly made piece of garbage that will be going to the curb as soon as I find a replacement. Yes, I know it's a "budget rower" but that is a NO EXCUSE for the lack of quality. Foot straps? Broke in under 200 strokes. 200 strokes that had very little foot contact to the foot rests since your feet constantly slip off (read other reviews). Poorly designed, cheaply built, but it's easy to put together. Spend the extra money and buy a better unit. I took a chance on this one and I got burned.
Not worth it.
November 19, 2015
The foot pedals / straps are poorly designed. The strap is at the top of the foot instead of the middle and there is no support on the bottom of the pedal to keep your foot from slipping out. Every 5 minutes I have to stop and readjust my feet.I am a male with an 11 inch foot. Another review mentions that she is a woman with a small foot and has the same problem.Other than this the machine works fine but until this problem is resolved I would recommend you buy a different brand.--EDIT--It was brought to my attention how to resolve the problem I was having with my feet, but I am still not real happy with this machine. It seems like the difficulty setting maxed out pretty quick. I have only been using it a month and I feel like I already need a machine that offers greater resistance. Also when I begin rowing the resistance is at its maximum and shortly into the work out it loses all resistance. It's really not a very good device. The digital display is supposed to shut off after four minutes. Mine never shut off and ran endlessly until the batteries died.
Don't buy
January 21, 2012
Well I don't usually write reviews, I felt I must in this case.It really is too bad that Stamina has a well built machine, but skimped on a couple of crucial parts. The machine went together quickly, the electronics are good (cheap but adequate), and it worked well....for about 5 minutes. At that time I felt like I was going over speed bumps. After ten minutes I stopped and took the seat off the machine. one of the wheels was off center. So I popped it back on it's little rim and all was good. The second time I used it I got almost to ten minutes before it happened again. This time when I took it apart the wheel was all a-float but still seated on the rim fine. So after two ten minute uses the wheel's bearings fell apart. I'm sending it back, and doing what I should have in the first place, spending more money getting a better one. Definitely not from Stamina.I've read other reviews that claim the shock has it's issues as well. That didn't happen for me. Yet.This wouldn't have been a bad machine if the company would have put better wheels under the seat and a better shock on it.So take it from me. Spend a few extra bucks and get a better machine.

screw holes are stripped out on a piece…HELP!
August 29, 2017
Very disappointed. I have spent a good part of the evening trying to assemble my exercise bike only to discover that the holes/threading where you attach the monitor/handlebars to the frame with the screws, are completely stripped! I know the trick, that when there are 4 screws, to tighten each cross corner, not screwing them all down individually, so to have ALL FOUR holes stripped really upset me. The monitor/handlebars will not stay attached. I CANNOT USE THIS BIKE. from the looks of it, all I need is a new Monitor/handlebar so that I can attach it to the frame… It is this piece that has the stripped out screw holes… I would like to keep the bike but need a replacement piece… Please advise.

UPDATE: The company, Paradigm Health & Wellness, reached out to me upon my review to correct my situation. They replaced the monitor/handlebar, and screws, and I am now able to use my bike. It works GREAT and I appreciate the swift actions/resolution to my issue. THANK YOU, Paradigm Health & Wellness!
Looking for Customer Service Help!
August 19, 2017
Descent bike, wide seat, I'm a bit short at 5'1 reaching the pedals with the seat all the way to the bottom, but my problem is I just set up the bike, even though I bought it a few months due to having surgery and awaiting the recovery period. I was disappointed to see that the LCD did not work. I am looking for a good customer service phone number. When I contacted the warranty section I was told I needed to contact the manufacturer first due to the LCD monitor was not on warranty. A bit puzzled about the warranty then.
Set up was fairly easy and the operation was nearly silent in the beginning
August 30, 2016
I purchased this bike after reading all the glowing reviews of the product. For the first two months, the bike performed as intended. Set up was fairly easy and the operation was nearly silent in the beginning. I mostly used the bike in the 5-6 resistance range and sometimes up to 8.

However, after several months, I started to note that the pedalling wasn't smooth and was slipping at resistance 4 and above. Under the bike showed a lot of what looked like ground up rubber on the floor below the flywheel casing. Eventually, going even above resistance two caused a "cracking noise" and now the bike does not work at all. A quick search of Amazon reviews showed that I'm not the only one with the issue. bike started making clicking and whirring sounds after a few weeks of usage. These sounds became louder as the bike usage increased. The pedals/cranks also began slipping (from heavy tension to almost zero tension within a single crank stroke) during moderate use. As other reviews attest to, the bike became unusable for anything other than very short, low resistance rides.

Given how the heinous problems that basically every reviewer with a similar has had with the company, I have not even bothered to try and contact the 800 number. Keep your expectations low--the bike will work well for a time, but the honeymoon is brief. As others have said, if you want any kind of serious workout, you will end up quickly with a broken bike.
The bike itself is great however it came with a piece broken internally
August 15, 2016
The bike itself is great however it came with a piece broken internally. Customer service for the warranty is terrible, will not answer calls only emails. The 1 year warranty only covers the frame, everything else is only 90 days. Unit was delivered damaged and per their warranty they will only send me replacement parts which i have to take apart the main pulley, which i shouldn't have to do for a broken unit upon delivery. Bike okay, manufacture terrible. Customer service terrible. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT! ALSO THE HEART RATE MONITOR IS NOT ACCURATE AT ALL!
Damaged upon delivery

Two of my friends have this bike and seem to really enjoy using it. The price is great, it doesn't take up a lot of space, and the seat provides a decent amount of cushioning. I figured this would be perfect since I've been looking to buy a piece of exercise equipment for a while. It showed up at my house and I assembled the entire bike, only to find that it didn't work. For some reason, the magnetic piece on the flywheel that is supposed to track time, calories, speed, ect., was not communicating any of this info to the center screen. This made the screen completely useless, because I couldn't track any of my stats. This was such a huge letdown because I was really excited to use this bike. I called the customer service number and they told me to watch a youtube video on how to possibly fix this problem, but after attempting this for a few hours, it proved to be fruitless. Needless to say, I am sending it back.

Not what I expected at all.

This stepper feels like walking through mud while wearing weighted boots on its least resistant setting. It kills my knees. Even my husband thinks it has too much resistance. Both of us exercise at least 30 minutes 7 days a week - running, elliptical, weights, etc. We hoped it would be a nice compact addition to our other home equipment, but neither of us use this machine.
Don't waste your money.
April 28, 2017
Worked good for the first 35 days then the electronics broke. Might have been used all of 10 time in the month. You can no longer tell how many steps you have done. Of course it broke right after the return period closed. Won't be buying this again.

BAD PRODUCT AND WORSE CUSTOMER SWERVICE
October 12, 2015
Stepper worked great for a month and the welding snapped right off. I contacted Sunny Health through email and they kept giving me a run around. Asked me to send picture so I did. They said they cannot open the picture files. The pictures were taken with my phone and they are normal jpeg files. I took more pictures with same phone and sent them again. This time they said they cannot see where the break was on the pictures. I took 20 more pictures from all different angles and resent them. About 3 weeks after I initiated this process they finally said they will send thereplace parts. This was 4 months ago and I have not received any parts.... I highly recommend buying a different company's product than Sunny Health & Fitness. Bad product and worse customer service.....

June 14, 2013
If you read below, we loved this little machine BUT - it lasted a whole 9 months before the welds that hold the foot pedal pivot points broke on both sides.Contact with Sunny Fitness resulted in my being told: "We have a 90 day warranty which covers any defective or damaged parts, as well as shipping & handling; however, this item is out of warranty" Item was purchased here on Amazonon May 28, 2013 and received on May 31, 2013.I advised Sunny Fitness that I felt this is a true "manufacturers defect" and given they would not stand behind this product, I was going to amend my review.PS - my wife and I are NOT obese.Sorry - but DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCEOriginal Review from June 2013This little machine will kick your butt (literally). Use your own power and resistance.Sturdy, takes up no space, and really get's your heart started.Great little machine and great value when compared with what you would spend on a powered stepper that, by the way, gives you no more of a workout than this one does.

Hazardous Materials?
March 9, 2016
Came with a warning that is contains carcinogenic chemicals or chemicals that cause birth defects. I have a young child in the house who would probably be fascinated by the texture and would want to touch it, and we have a hereditary cancer gene, so I prefer manufacturers who choose materials that aren't hazardous. I've already had cancer once, and would prefer to avoid a repeat.
