Really like working with this. Great for when I don't go to the gym and when I watch TV.
I Love It !!!!
September 22, 2016
I just received my Sunny Twister Stepper and I absolutely love it. Gives you the right amount of resistance during your workout. Easy to move around. Don't occupy that much space. Extremely easy to put together and to move around. The price is affordable and this is a great sale point. I will encourage anyone to try it. You will not regret it.
This Is A Great Item.

My last Stepper broke and this one is a replacement for it. I love this item and use it every day. I have limited space in a small apartment, so this fits great.

Bought it for using in the bars i play darts in because i cannot always reach top of the boards. It is right height, easily moved when not throwing. it has boosted my confidence in my darts as i don't have to rely on anyone else.
Step up to good health

So glad I bought this stepper to incorporate in my workout. It's sturdy, strong and stays firmly in place while I do my rigourious work out..it's a tough little stepper.I've been using it almost daily for the past few week and I'm finding different ways to modify my workouts. Can't beat the price of this stepper, very pleased with my purchase.
Stepper
January 13, 2016
I have had this for about a week. It's very sturdy. You can definitely use it for a workout. It's smaller then some of the steppers at the gym but it's perfect for doing basic stepper workouts. I am 5' 11" and I wear a women's size 11 running shoe. I can use it for planks, heel and calf stretches. I had no problems with stepping off or my feet not fitting as some reviews have stated. The extensions are a little hard to get into place but I just used my weight to slide them in place. It creaks a little at first until they are firmly in place. So far I like it. I am on the heavy side and find this product to be made well and very sturdy. I am using it for the times when its too cold to go walk or run. Its a great cardio workout. I do it while listening to my ipod, watching Netflix or listening to audio books. I slide it right under the bed when I am not using it. I really worked up a swear in 20 minutes. I have three or 4 basic moves that I use.
Works great for a portable step.
September 14, 2015
The tone fitness Stepper allows you to modify the step easily from 4" to 6". The extensions store in the underside if not needed, so you won't lose the parts. I have not used this as a piece of exercise equipment. I purchased it to make it possible for my 86 year old mother to get into our pickup. It worked perfect for that. It is light-weight and easy to maneuver, while at the same time, sturdy and does not slide around. We have used it several times with no issue. She said she didn't feel it would tip or slide out from under her.
Excellent for My Needs!
May 13, 2015
This stepper seems to be quite sturdy. I did not buy it for exercise. I bought it as a low step (four inches high) so my grandbabies could stand on it to see out the window! It's wide enough for both of them to stand on, and it's low enough for them to get on and off easily. They love to watch the school buses go by! If I ever have the inclination or time to do step aerobics, I'll edit my review to include information about using the stepper as it was intended. However, for now, it is an excellent perch for my two curious grandbabies to look out the window!
Just Enough Room
April 4, 2014
I do step aerobics at home if I can't make it to the gym and this step is perfect for that! It is a bit smaller than one you might find at a step class but I use it regularly and haven't fallen/tripped/missed my step or anything (knock on wood!) The one thing I wish was an option is additional risers to make it higher and more challenging. Though I don't use it for push-ups or stretching, I can see how it would work really well for those purposes too.A great feature is the storage ability: it's small and short so I just slide it under my bed when I'm not using it. The legs come off super easily as well so if your bed (or any other piece of furniture) is close to the ground, you can break it down and store it with no problem.

Stepper was easy to setup
June 30, 2016
Stepper was easy to setup. However after about two uses the product began to squeak very loudly. Consulted manual and they recommend oiling certain parts. I did so but the noise continued for two to three more workouts and eventually stopped. Overall I enjoy using the stepper and I get a nice workout.
It has worked very well for me and is easy to use and store away when not in use
April 21, 2016
Ordered this stepper to help build muscle in leg after broken knee surgery. It has worked very wellfor me and is easy to use and store away when not in use. My husband had no trouble putting it together andis also using the stepper.
Ok for the money (~$60)
April 1, 2016
First stepper had one of the hydro live break after a week. Amazon replaced it for free however and it has been fine for the past month.
So far so good
March 13, 2014
Bought this to tone hips, thighs, and butt plus to get some low impact cardio. So far it's doing a good job with all that, and the side-to-side motion is just enough -- enough torque to feel a stretch, but not too twisty on the joints. I haven't put any tension on the resistance cable because I just started using it, and it gives good resistance so far. I'm starting with 15-20min workouts a few times a week and see how it goes. The only drawback of the machine is that the handlebars are wobbly, but that could be a fault in the assembly process. Sometimes I don't use the handlebars at all to challenge my balance, so that's OK. Definitely a good little device for the money - so far.

A new use for this exercise step
May 1, 2017
This arrived very quickly. We needed a step for a passenger to be able to get into our van easier. This is just what we wanted.
Good for carpeted rooms
January 13, 2017
It's functional, but the grips on the legs aren't very static so it does slide a bit on my flooring. I can just move to a carpeted room, but I wish the legs had better rubber grips.
Very Sturdy but Small
December 7, 2016
The step is sturdy and can adjust in height. It is a smaller step than some others so there is less real estate to place your feet. If you have big feet it may be too small. I am planning on getting something a little bigger in the future. This is a 7/8 size step compared to most.
Sturdy but not easily adjusted
January 2, 2016
It seems really sturdy. I'm not worried about it not holding up with repeated steps. The high adjustments bother me a bit though. I love that the extra pieces can be stored in the center on the bottom. When I put the extra pieces on the bottom to raise the height, at first they wouldn't go in all the way. They were the right size, but it was a tight fit. I turned it right side up, and when I stepped on it the pieces snapped right into place. But then they were very difficult to take apart again. I suppose a tight fit is a good thing, but only if you don't want to change the height frequently.
Excellent footstool, probably a good stepper, too
January 7, 2014
I already have a stepper but found it was the perfect size for a footstool under my desk. Not wanting to use that one as the footstool, 'cause then I couldn't be lazy about swapping it out when I work out, I bought this one. Makes a perfect footstool for cheaper than the same size in a traditional footstool. However, it does appear to be a fine stepper - compact, so you don't have a bunch additional step extenders sitting around, taking up space while you get to those higher levels. Definitely sturdy.
More Or Less As Advertised
December 4, 2012
Overall, the board does what it claims, although I can see how people with bigger feet than mine might feel it was too narrow. My issues: the "workout sheet" was not in the box, although both the listing and the box claim it comes with one; one of the riser feet was rather difficult to attach, and since there are sharp edges in a lot of places, you need to be cautious both attaching them and even when moving the device; it had a very strong smell, which has declined as it was out of the box; there was a small piece of broken plastic in the box, which did not interfere with the device or the riser attachments, but which, along with the missing workout sheet, makes me wonder if this was a returned item. I do recommend it as you can indeed use it for step exercise, which is why I bought it. I do think it is somewhat overpriced, even though it was among the cheaper of the step boards.

It's a nice machine for the price and easy to assemble
April 25, 2017
It's a nice machine for the price and easy to assemble. The 4 allen head bolts did strip slightly during installation. I believe the tool they sent to assemble is not sized correctly to the bolt heads, and therefore the heads stripped a bit. I requested they send me 4 new bolts and the tool of the correct size. I'll improve my rating if they come through with the bolts and tool.
I like this stair stepper
September 2, 2016
I like this stair stepper. I get a good work out. It's worth the price. I would like the hand bars to come up a little more for me. I'm 5'5 and I don't think it's designed for a much taller person.
Just bought Sunny Twister Stepper.
April 23, 2016
Just arrived. Time and effort to assemble reasonable. First test indicates that I should be able to do this ok. My plan is to incorporate this into my treadmill routines. I was prompted to buy this by disconcerting difficulty doing stairways when needed.
It's ok
October 31, 2014
Well, I have osteoarthritis and this did not work out well for me. My husband liked it ok. I think just walking you do do the same thing
good value, annoying squeaky noise
August 19, 2014
It gets the job done as a cheap stepper. Frame's decently stable, calorie counter works. But I get this constant squeaking noise when I step, which is rather annoying. (I'm 5'2, size 6, I'd like to lose 2-4 dress sizes, but i doubt it's squeaking from weight issues)Also, it's a stepper, not exactly an elliptical replacement if you are looking for one like I was. The motion's not as smooth as an elliptical. Not a huge deal if you have a TV in front of you and lots of time. but if you want to get a lot of calories burned in half an hour get an elliptical instead.
stepper
April 26, 2014
I am only giving this 3 stats because the stepper is awesome and I do love it. but it didn't come with the handle bar so I was extrememly disappointed. It still works well. I bought for my daughter and I tried it out and if it wasn't for my bad knees I would get one for myself because you can really feel it working just being on a few minutes. so it does work well but like I said no handlebar came with it and I don't like when I buy something especially online and its not exactly what it says . I wont bother to return it because that's just a big hassell so I just sucked it up .

The crack looks like a defect
May 4, 2016
This item was defective....got it today and it's cracked under the base. The crack looks like a defect; im guessing not much quality control with this product. Would cost too much for me to ship it back to exchange it so will probably end up in the trash. It slides on hard wood floors too so beware. However, I purchased a non-slip rubber mat that it fits on so I'm thinking this might just work!
It is not very wide and when I am stepping ...
December 4, 2015
It is not very wide and when I am stepping on and off, either my toes go off the front or my heels hang off the back. I slipped off once but managed to catch onto something before hitting the floor, which could have been a broken bone. I have not used it since.
OK, but not the best
March 21, 2015
My feet are tiny, size 5.5 women's. This is barely wide enough for my feet. It slides a little on a polished stone floor, but not too much. It is not very high.On the plus side: It is lightweight and easy to put away and take out. Easy to clean.
Ok for a step
June 28, 2013
We got two steps, one for me and one for my wife (hers is pink). Expected them to be the same aside from the color. They both have extensions that allow you to increase the height of the step, which is nice, except on the pink one they clip in underneath when you're not using them. On this one they do not clip in, they just fit underneath so anytime you move it they fall all over the place. It's a simple thing, but it is annoying. Also, the step is not very long (maybe I should've looked at the dimensions first) so don't expect to use it as a mini-bench.
Nice, cheap, adequate for limited purposes
March 30, 2013
This is sturdy enough, and I did find it wide enough for me, but for my purposes I'd have liked it deeper. I purchased this because I have plantar fasciitis and need to do calf stretches (standing with toes on the step, slowly drop heels down off the edge to stretch the Achilles tendons), and if I place it against the couch to keep from tipping, it works for this. I also wanted it to rehab a knee injury, for which it works just fine (maybe I'll wish it was higher once I get better at the lower heights). But I'm interested in saving money and space, so this is adequate. I'd prefer a deeper one, but for the price it suits my needs. I used to have a nice one for step aerobics, and this one wouldn't have worked very well for that.

Very flimsy.
May 21, 2017
The computer function does not accurately keep track i.e., I excercised for 30 mins., the time registered was only 5 mins. It does not count the steps or give a good calorie count. The handle is also very wobbly.

November 23, 2014
Though I bought it for my brother, after 3 weeks it started squeaking and I don't know how or where I should tell him to oil it. He says it's very noisy and he weighs about 180 pounds. Also, the computer showing the rate, calories, distance, etc. never worked! He changed batteries twice so that wasn't the issue it was just defective from the the time of purchase. Lastly the adjustment for the height was a little too short. You can only raise it so much and it wasn't high enough for someone over 5'7 inches.
Broke after 6 weeks
April 14, 2013
The part where the cable attach to the foot arm (left side) cracked. Took it apart and found that it was a steel bar (stamped with a "Q") that slide through the foot arm and inside was a hole drilled through the bar so the foot arm sides onto the main frame but the crack started from the center on the hole. I think the steel was not 100% and when the hole was drill in made a mirco crack and after 64,000 steps it failed. It did not fully come off, 1/2 of it cracked then it twisted and the way it twisted I could not use an allen wentch and had to get the dremel out. It can be fixed if I can get my hands on an arc welder and bodge it together. For when it worked. The 1st week full of squeaky, was able to get rid with some garage door grease that but then the step counter would not work right, I had to move the magnet to get it working. After that it was good. It is a good machine but they just need to do a bit better on welding the steel and shoring up the stress points to make it last. I would have given it 3 1/2 stars, the squeaky was bad when I got it, then there was the step counter problem.

Good, but the feet fall off all the time!
October 2, 2017
I like this stepper -- its a good size and decently sturdy.Issue for me is that the grey feet fall off every time i pick it up (i can't get them to stay on!), which is super annoying. I would duct tape them on, but that means I'll never be able to take them off -- it's frustrating & wish that was not the case.

Not impressed
May 3, 2015
Wasn't really impressed. i read a review before i purchased this which stated that product was large enough for person with a size 10 foot, not true. My size 10’s don’t fit comfortable which causes me to be reluctant to use it.

March 5, 2015
I am using it because I am not good at sending things back, however please note that this stepper is really really short as far as the stepping area. I keep missing the spot. I have almost fallen several times. I will put in the garage and look for another one.

Not what I expected at all.
May 6, 2017
This stepper feels like walking through mud while wearing weighted boots on its least resistant setting. It kills my knees. Even my husband thinks it has too much resistance. Both of us exercise at least 30 minutes 7 days a week - running, elliptical, weights, etc. We hoped it would be a nice compact addition to our other home equipment, but neither of us use this machine.
Don't waste your money.
April 28, 2017
Worked good for the first 35 days then the electronics broke. Might have been used all of 10 time in the month. You can no longer tell how many steps you have done. Of course it broke right after the return period closed. Won't be buying this again.

BAD PRODUCT AND WORSE CUSTOMER SWERVICE
October 12, 2015
Stepper worked great for a month and the welding snapped right off. I contacted Sunny Health through email and they kept giving me a run around. Asked me to send picture so I did. They said they cannot open the picture files. The pictures were taken with my phone and they are normal jpeg files. I took more pictures with same phone and sent them again. This time they said they cannot see where the break was on the pictures. I took 20 more pictures from all different angles and resent them. About 3 weeks after I initiated this process they finally said they will send thereplace parts. This was 4 months ago and I have not received any parts.... I highly recommend buying a different company's product than Sunny Health & Fitness. Bad product and worse customer service.....

If you read below, we loved this little machine BUT - it lasted a whole 9 months before the welds that hold the foot pedal pivot points broke on both sides.Contact with Sunny Fitness resulted in my being told: "We have a 90 day warranty which covers any defective or damaged parts, as well as shipping & handling; however, this item is out of warranty" Item was purchased here on Amazonon May 28, 2013 and received on May 31, 2013.I advised Sunny Fitness that I felt this is a true "manufacturers defect" and given they would not stand behind this product, I was going to amend my review.PS - my wife and I are NOT obese.Sorry - but DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCEOriginal Review from June 2013This little machine will kick your butt (literally). Use your own power and resistance.Sturdy, takes up no space, and really get's your heart started.Great little machine and great value when compared with what you would spend on a powered stepper that, by the way, gives you no more of a workout than this one does.

The pieces that snap on to make the step higher don't seem to fit well and everytime I use the step it creaks. Bear in mind, I am a relatively small person so it's not my size affecting the step. Does not feel very secure. If I still had the box I would return it.
