A good buy for a simple and reliable Bike Computer
September 28, 2015
This bike computer is a good buy for the money. $14 isn't cheap, but it is less expensive than the local bike shop. The computer works fine - I particularly like that the numbers are large, and there is a 'scan' feature that rotates through speed, average speed, distance, etc. A really nice feature is that there is some mechanism inside (little steel ball I suspect) that rolls as soon as the device is moved, waking up the screen. That's nice. And a feature I had not expected is that the timer automatically starts and stops. That is very handy, as I almost ALWAYS forget to start those sorts of thing. The setup was straightforward, but a bit tricky. Just gotta make very sure you have the magnet mounted such that it moves within about 1/8" of the wireless sensor. That wasn't difficult, but took a bit of trial and error to find the right spot. No worries, it added about an extra 3 minutes to the otherwise fast install.
Great Value for most people.

As an economy entry in bicycle computers, this hits the mark. Although the instruction manual is not the greatest, you can figure out how to use this thing pretty quickly. It has basic functions and they should suffice for most situations. They are:1. Speed (Speed is the major readout and is always on display. Choose MPH or KPH.)2. ODO (Odometer--you can reset this at any time)3. DST (Distance, or leg Distance. Think of it as a "trip odometer")4. AVS (Average Speed. This displays the average speed of the leg distance, not the overall distance as measured by ODO)5. MXS (Maximum Speed. This displays your fastest achieved speed on the DST or leg distance)6. Scan Mode (Scrolls through DST, AVS and MXS)7. Clock Mode (Displays time, 12h or 24h)Note: This computer will have occasional hiccups which may affect accuracy. I have run it concurrently with GPS and the Distance and Average Speed seem accurate. However, the readout most affected by these hiccups is maximum speed. By the time I finish most trips, my maximum speed readout is 92 MPH. I'm good, but I ain't that good. Roided out pros aren't that good.If maximum speed is important to you, then skip this computer.

Yes! This is great!, fast delivery (before the date Time they gave me). Product excellent! A lit confused to the begin to set up, however is a question of minutes. I used twice and tried km and miles, I can't believe my eyes that right it is. Very easy to install, less than 10', if u are the person slow skills I recommend u to watch some YouTube videos abt installation, (so easy). And so easy understand the functions after use it the first time. I'm really so happy to discover this, cheap and good. This beats "sigma", "cateye ", being this brands the best on market. Bluesmart nothing to envy to those brands. I hope it helps u to decide it I recommend it at all!. AMZL-US amazing carrier too, something new I discovered.
This unit was very easy to set up and the directions were very clear
July 10, 2015
This unit was very easy to set up and the directions were very clear. Additionally, the seller sent another set of instructions via email with little tweaks to make it work even better. I like the fact that I don't have to strap down a wire running from the unit to the control head. This installation looks much cleaner than my old one. It also takes the CR2032 Battery which is great for me because I get these batteries with my water filter (don't ask) and I don't use them for anything else so I'll never run out of batteries and can always carry a spare in my bike bag.The numbers were spot on with my bicycling app on my Iphone regarding distance, once I put in the correct numbers.
A Winner
June 23, 2015
Easy to install, easy to see and use. Great price!
Good product, easy to install and use right away.
June 4, 2015
Received the order on time from the seller. It was easy to install and use on a ride right away - I used youtube to view a sample installation. Also, I used a GPS system while riding to track the mph and distance and this speedometer/odometer was accurate.

GREAT DEAL
August 13, 2017
For the price you can't beat it - lights are bright and easy to control - reliability hard to say at this point only time will tell. Love that it uses batteries and is not rechargeable - why? Because if you go long periods without using a rechargeable battery it really diminishes the ability to hold a charge - and once it goes bad for most units you have to replace the whole product.
Great buy
July 11, 2017
The light is super bright and I love the strobe options! It fit my Trek Verve 3 handle bars just fine. Seems very well made. Takes 4 AAA batteries not included. I think it will hold up nicely for me as I am a leisurely rider. Nice price too.
Really nice lights, easily portable
June 24, 2017
Very well made. Excellent brightness! Both of these lights can easily be taken off and used as personal protection light. A little tricky to get the headlight lens back on after battery install, but, I put it on a countertop to lineup the guides. That worked for me. Highly recommended.
Safety that the kids love
May 20, 2017
Bought this for the kiddos birthday and he fell in love with it. Parenting win! Had multiple features, blinking, strobe, solid beam. People can definitely see him. Exactly the point! And with the multiple settings, it keeps him occupied and from getting board with it. Basically makes it fun to have it on!
Product works as advertised. Variety of attachments allow for universal fit.
March 13, 2017
Light produced is extremely bright at the cost of a lot of AAA batteries. Still very worth it for your money. The flashlight can also be quickly detached and used stand alone.
Thing is bright!
October 18, 2016
The thing is really bright!Excellent value.Only hiccup was my handlebars were a little thin for the collar on the headlight. So I had to improvise to make the collar tight enough so it would support theheadlight without rolling over or being too loose. I cut another small piece ofrubber and used it as additonal filler.

March 11, 2016
I've been using this for almost two months now. Seems to be quite accurate and it's survived several rainy rides, so the waterproofing works (unlike my previous non-resistant bike computer that was done for after being caught in the rain once). Of course you need to make sure your sensor is set up properly and make sure it's properly tightened to the fork. The only issue I have with this guy is that if you ride bumpy roads, you might have to readjust the sensor kind of frequently.
Not for an indoor trainer, but great for outside riding
November 6, 2015
We purchased this thinking it would work for our indoor bike trainer. Technically it does attach to the bike and perform the function as described, but the reader where it shows your actual distance needs to be within a certain (small space) from the moving tire sensor. So, it would need to be attached to the seat pole vs the handle bars, where you could actually see your readings. I'm sure it will work great in the spring/summer/fall when we are able to ride outside. Otherwise would have probably given a 5 star. It is a little chinsy, but does what it's supposed to do for a good price.
Great computer, handlebar mount could be better
August 13, 2015
Very easy to set up and get working. Does exactly what is says - and is a good speedometer/odometer. I haven't got it wet yet, but so far so good. The only negative is that they give you basically an elastic to mount the computer to the handlebars, which is a little cheap and tends to make the computer slide around the handlebar while riding. I don't think it would fall off in normal riding, but I could see it potentially fly off in a crash. A better mount would be a nice addition and I might try to make up something myself to get it more secure.
Good cheap computer
August 2, 2015
For how cheap it is, it's pretty good. Has an accurate measure of speed on my 700x23c tires. Has all the basic functions (odo, speed, trip, time, etc). Wireless, so that's obviously nice. Came early in the mail. The only thing I dislike about it, is that the backlight only works from the evening to the early morning based on the time that's programmed into the unit, and it only works if you press the button at night, even then it only stays on for just a few seconds so it's kindof harder to see it at night. Other than that though it's a good computer. Looks pretty clean on my bike too, it's mounted on the stem.
Good price, does what it should.
July 29, 2015
Very reasonably priced, perfect for what I needed. Installed without issue and has worked well in sun as well as downpour. The magnet part that attaches to the spokes is made for round spokes and I have rectangular spokes - however, the magnet mounted at a slight angle but still works as it should. The instructions that came with the Unit were typical broken English stuff from China, but I muddled through them. They must have realized the instructions were barely adequate because several weeks after I received the device, they emailed me an updated manual and a request for feedback which is why I am writing this review. Would order from them again.

June 8, 2015
Considering the cost, it is outstanding. It seems to be a little more finicky during installation to get the proper reading and found myself on a few rides without function. I finally got it secured and there is no longer an issue. I have used several computers that were much more expensive that performed worse. The band that secures the unit to the handlebar is worthless but I fixed that by stealing a hair band from my daughter and used a small zip tie to size it perfect. All told, It fits the bill for what I needed it to do. A simple, no frills bike computer.

and they work great so far
October 19, 2017
I just installed these lights, and they work great so far. I use them on my bike so that cars can see me rather than so I can see. They description didn't mention this, but you need 6 AAA batteries to power both of these, and they do not come with batteries, which I think would have been helpful information. Installing them on my bike wash a little more of a pain than I expected, but hopefully that means they will stay on well.
simple to set up
September 22, 2017
I have not had it installed long but the headlight seems strong and I like the options for the light choices as well as the light on the bezel to know what the setting on the light is. When I first unpacked the light the taillight would not light but opening it a couple of times seemed to fix it. I hope it is not a touchy switch that won't last.
Decent set.
September 20, 2017
The led light isn't as bright as I had hoped, but it works fine, and the clamp holds tight. The red tail light is nice and bright.Update: The light was stolen the first time I forgot to remove it from my bike, but the tail light still works great. Very bright and visible.
The taillight is actually pretty bright for its size
July 23, 2017
This is a cheap way of getting some safety on your bike. The taillight is actually pretty bright for its size, but the "chase" setting doesn't really make sense to have. The blink feature is nice, however. I haven't used the headlight yet, pending battery purchase, but it's a pretty simple little LED flashlight on a mount, so I'm hoping it'll be fine.
Pretty good product for price, with one flaw
July 18, 2017
Love these lights. They are bright and easy to install. I am not too confident on the brightness side when continously lit. However it covers that with blinking functionality. I don't bike in complete dark anyway so that serves me well.My only complaint and thus one less star is, it didn't fasten as it should have. The tail light was not secure and i lost it in first ride itself.
Good Starter Light Set
August 29, 2016
This is a good light set for the cost. That being said, it is not the brightest or strongest. I bought it right after a got a new bike and used it until I could upgrade to stronger lights. I am still using the front light after getting a brighter rear light. The batteries last a long time. I also like that these are inexpensive because they are not a huge loss if stolen. I live in New York city, and sometimes I forget to remove my lights when I lock up my bike outside.

Had this on my trek mountain bike. Once i broke 30mph it would malfunction. Under that speed though it worked as described.
Great price and seem to track mileage fine
May 12, 2016
Great price and seem to track mileage fine, but unable to reset to zero for each ride. Clicking the buttons don't work.
Not easy to navigate the menus for me.
April 22, 2016
Works fine but I didn't think it was easy to navigate the modes and screens. I have since replaced it with the Cyclometer phone app.
Good for warm weather not for the cold.
February 29, 2016
I have used the bike computer for several months now. It is great having the scan mode so that I can see all of the states for a ride. My only complaints are that to reset the trip I have to hold one of the buttons for 5 seconds but to reset my odometer I hold the same button for 2 seconds. I am always so worried that I am going to rest my overall millage. The other thing that I have noticed is that in cold weather it does not do a very good job recording. I was on a ride today and It recorded for the first 5 miles and then after that I did not receive any data.I would recommend this computer for casual warm weather rides but not if you are wanting to keep track of rides in cold or not the most desirable weather.

Arrived quickly, but came without the battery for the sensor on the bike fork. Now I'll have to try and find one so my son can use the damn thing. Pretty disappointing....
Works good, just not for me
July 29, 2015
It works great, I can't master the functions, the instructions a written so small it's difficult with my old eyes and I cant' find the instructions on the internet so I ended up downloading an app that I can use, too bad!

They were easy to install and do an adequate job
October 10, 2017
The lights seem OK. They were easy to install and do an adequate job. The price was right.I like that the tail light has a couple flashing options- makes it more noticeable to approaching cars and saves on batteries. As for the headlight I'm not impressed with the brightness considering it takes 4 batteries. Also, the beam pattern is too narrow. I wouldn't depend on it to light up a rough road in the dark. I have good street lighting in my subdivision so I just set it to strobe mode for maximum visibility to traffic.
Bought Two, One Went Bad
October 3, 2017
Bought two of these, only installed one. Rode the bike twice, then hung it up nicely in the garage for a few months. Now it won't work. Switched it out for the other one, works fine with the same batteries. The cartridge that holds the batteries for the first one must have went bad or something, nothing visibly wrong with it. Luckily I bought two. I understand they're pretty cheaply priced, but still sucks.
Not Bad at ALL
September 16, 2017
not bad both lights work but what I didn't like was that the front light bud had circled on it so when turning the light on you can see their shadows on the ground. I did not like that one bit. Now, the tail light I did like it very much. Had no problems with it!! I would recommend this product to a friend, she/he might like it better than me?
Front light great, rear light not
September 1, 2017
I like the headlight, especially the strobe setting. It's bright. The rear light clip is slightly too small for the attachment and it can't attach securely. I lost the rear light over a bump after 10 miles and never found it. I bought a different rear light for a replacement that is actually way brighter anyway. I guess this still wasn't a bad deal for just the front light.
I mostly didn't like that the batteries drained very quickly and the lights ...
September 25, 2015
It lasted me one year and then it busted. Some weird chemical reactions happened with the battery and the flashlight, probably due to all the weather-resisting wearing it had gone through, and left the flashlight encrusted with white, vinegar-smelling residue.Maybe that happened because of old batteries, but still, the lights do get dim very quickly. It's also made of cheap plastic (this one part of the backlight snapped off while I was trying to assemble it) and the flashlight "cap" that screws on the bulb part to the battery-holding body is kind of loose.I mostly didn't like that the batteries drained very quickly and the lights dimmed pretty fast, too. Assembly was quick, though. (Can't say the same for the back light, which I did not end up completely assembling because it was very confusing). But if I could've, I think I would have just invested in a better bike light in the first place.
Pluses and minuses
December 4, 2013
As the title says, the lights are super bright when you start using these. But the brightness comes with two downsides:1. The headlight is too focused -- it lets the cars know you are there, but it doesn't do a good job of letting you see the terrain at night. If you point it straight ahead, you can't see the ground; if you point it at the ground, you only light up a discrete spot.2. The batteries drain quickly, so the light gets less bright.I think if you are riding in an area that is well-lit at night (and you are just using the lights so that other people can see you), then these lights could be a solid option. If you are on a remote, dark trail, I think you would want something better.

Does what it's supposed to do, but not for long
November 6, 2016
I'll admit I went cheap, but you can get higher quality cyclocomputers than this for not much more. In the one year that I've had it I've gone through three button batteries for the main unit and a 12 volt battery for the sending unit, and despite all that it just will not keep accurate data after 15 months of use. The unit is within 15 inches, less tan 40 cm, and it's currently off by over 25% and reads all over the place when riding. I'm replacng it with a Cateye wired unit. You'll also notice that there are identical units with at least six other brand names on them. Obviously some cheap generic product.
would give 5 star if it wasn't missing the chest belt
August 2, 2016
the computer is smaller than i thought but still easily readable. Like the functions but they are a bit hard to figure out. seems to be pretty accurate too. wheel sensor wasn't too picky about the distance between it and the magnet. Overall a good product just missing the rwst pf the package
Scan mode and backlight (clock activated) are nice features.
August 8, 2015
No problems once the instructions are decoded. Can't beat the price, I know of others paying up to $40.00 for a similar computer. Scan mode and backlight (clock activated) are nice features.4/13/16 Bought another for my second bike and it came without the shoe mount
Speedometer stopped working
July 10, 2015
I bought this for my son's birthday and he was so excited to see how fast he was riding. Unfortunately, the speedometer part stopped working after a day or two :-( He was very disappointed. I am disappointed in the product as well. I realize it wasn't very expensive, but all the features should have continued working for longer than a few days!
Not Actually Waterproof.
June 18, 2015
Seemed to be working alright, but definitely not as waterproof as I hoped. As in, I left it out one night in one storm and the thing was totally waterlogged, never worked again.Setup was a bit of a hassle but not bad at all, the interaction was working alright, seemed to be accurate, but I only got two days of use out of it because I thought it was waterproof (to be fair, the product description says it's "super waterproof" and the photo has it splashing in water), and it absolutely wasn't. After one overnight storm, the device was full of water and of course wouldn't respond or work. I tried letting it dry out for a few days in sun (didn't have rice), but that water stayed in there.Oh well, at least it was cheap.
Poorly Built Product
June 10, 2015
Once I repaired the battery terminal which was mis installed and damaged the rubber o-ring beyond use the thing finally worked but I figure the first time it sees rain it will short out. Sorry for the run-on sentence! Bottom line is i'm not all that happy w/ this purchase but the low price was too low to mess w/ the return hassle.

Only buy if you're looking to avoid a ticket.
October 23, 2017
The front light functions fine but the screw came stripped and the ring can barely hold the light in place. On top of that, the "free" rear light doesn't work and is of VERY cheap material. If you're looking to avoid a ticket, this is fine. If you want a strong light of quality, look elsewhere.
headlight is a warning light, not for visibility
October 20, 2017
headlight is a janky multi-prism led bogus light that's better for warning drivers and other people on the road you're approaching than it is for actually lighting up the road so you can see where you're riding. the tail light only has 3 modes; on, slow blink and left to right slow blink. this setup is as basic as it gets.
Broke down in a couple of months.
October 4, 2017
It was working OK for the first couple of months but then not sure why, the intensity of the light decreased. I decided to change batteries to see if that may help but it broke down when I was changing the battery. One of the polarization pins over the lamp board came off. I will try to resolder the pin to its position but it is very disappointing that board is very poorly made and broke down as soon as I try to change the batteries.
Weak
August 5, 2017
These are really weak lights. They use quite a few batteries (6 AAA) for a very dim light. To try and describe the amount of light produced, if you had a pitch black room and tried to use the headlight for reading by pointing it at a book, it would strain your eyes because it doesn't produce enough light. They will let you be seen in very dark conditions only assuming no headlights are on you. They will absolutely *NOT* provide any light to see where you are going. I would argue that "Super Bright" in the title of the product is false advertising and I suspect manufacturer review padding on this particular product.
Faulty design or one faulty product?
June 12, 2017
The reason for the two stars is because while I was changing the batteries on the headlight, I was unable to place the battery holder back into the light. The back light works well and has a few settings of strobe or on entirely. An okay purchase but you definitely get what you pay for.
it's not a good product.
January 14, 2017
Unfortunately the back light stopped working properly. The bulb on the far right and middle of the back light doesn't stay on. I tried to fix it by checking the back of the bulb area after unscrewing the very small screws but can't get it to work. I even took out the batteries and tried new ones but no luck. If I kept it and used it on the back of my bike, there wouldn't be enough brightness at night to even use it since only one of the three bulbs actually works. The front light seems to work well as of now but unfortunately when you buy both lights and one doesn't work, it's not a good product.

Lasted less than 4 months
February 29, 2016
This lasted only a few months under normal wear and tear before I could no longer get it to read. I am a bike commuter who also does weekend longer rides. At first, this worked perfectly fine with no issues. However, very rarely I needed to take my front wheel off (where the sensor is). I did this to either lock up the bike or fit it in a car. I can no longer get it to give me any data. I've played with it a decent amount to no avail. You get what you pay for - I definitely would not purchase again or recommend.
Spotty Transmission Between Sensor and Display
January 26, 2016
I’ve been using this cycling computer for about 8 months and its performance is been extremely spotty the whole time. I primarily purchased it for the odometer, but the sensor and display frequently loose connection to each other and I estimate it has failed to register about half of my mileage. The sensor is near the axel on my front fork. I started with the display on my handlebars, but quickly realized that it was not receiving a regular signal from the sensor. I replace the batteries in both the sensor and the display, then moved the display to my top tube where it seemed to work for a few months, but then it stopped receiving data again. I now have the display on my down tube where I can barely see it, and it registers about every 2 to 3 wheel revolutions. The magnet and sensor are both clean, and the batteries are fresh.I don’t know if I got a lemon, or I just got what I paid for.
Poor construction, battery contact makes this almost useless.
January 6, 2016
Extremely poor battery contact causes failure to display half of the LCD cells.Only once, after trying to reseat the battery more than ten times, was the display clearly visible. When riding, hitting a single bump ruined the connection, reset the computer, and caused the same display issues.

It's cheap, and that's about as good as it gets.In the front light the on/off button did not work to begin with. September 11, 2017
I should have known that you get what you pay for. The lights arrived in good condition, but the rear bike light case was marred as soon as I try to open it with a coin the way that it was described in the manual. Yes the case closes tight to seal out the environment, but the plastic of the case is too soft to be pried open the way the instructions want you to.What is worse? The clasp on the rear light is not tight. The light lasted for just three rides-each of which were on the road and were less than 30 miles each. I started off on the third ride with a light and it fell off somewhere during the ride. I would not recommend this product until it is improved.
Head lights are a disaster.
May 11, 2016
The back light worked alright on the first set that I ordered but not the front light. I took brand new batteries and even turned them around even thought I thought this is crazy as the plus side was on the opposite but I was not able to get it working. Than I was so kindly sent a second one and the same thing again with the front light. I will give it one more try and have a very handy person have a look at it.
Poor quality and bad design
September 20, 2015
The back red light is small. It should have had stronger intensity to be a helpful warning sign.In 50 days, one of the three LED lights of the red light stopped working. Poor product quality. The front white light has poor design to insert and lock the batteries. Markings would have been helpful. There was a leak of batteries in the white light. I am using batteries from same batch in other appliances and they are working fine. I am suspecting it to be a faulty product design of the white lights.

Very good price if you get one that works. Cheaply made. The headlight would get stuck on the handlebar slider because the release didn't really work. The rear light didn't work at all, right out of the box. I tried changing batteries adn looking for any obvious destruction to it, but it just simply didn't work. The headlight seemed to work great, so I was going to keep them both because even $7 for a headlight is a great deal. However, while I was on my night ride, I noticed that the light would turn off every time I hit any kind of bump or small rock in the road. I spent the rest of the ride constantly turning it back on. Very annoying.
