Works Great
September 15, 2017
Works as intended. I didn't need such a long cord, but it was the best price at time. We're using it behind our TV which is on a heavy stand so my son can plug in his mini computer stick without having to move the furniture out from the wall.
Perfect extension cord.
May 9, 2017
I needed a new extension cord and wanted it in black. This one looked good on the site so I purchased it. It came quickly and it does work perfect. I like how the plugs are spread out. It allows for more breathing room and much easier to plug stuff in. I give it five stars, no doubt.
Very well designed and perfect for my application.
March 14, 2017
I bought this to power an outdoor surveillance camera because a regular plug too long to allow me to close the weatherproof plug cover on my patio. In the end, the camera I'd bought was pretty near worthless and I ended up returning it even though I was able to close the plug cover with this cord installed. However, this cord was perfect for plugging in behind a chest of drawer and still allowing me to get the chest close to the wall.
Did Exactly What I Needed A Cord To Do....
November 28, 2016
... which was connect my tabletop ice machine to the outlet, and stop the issue making my lights dim when it kicked on, when using a normal extension cord. I'm happy to have the extra outlets so I can plug in a couple of other nearby appliances. This was the best price on Amazon--or anywhere else--the week I purchased it. The cord is heavy duty, exactly as described.Great deal. Thanks!
Very well made
October 11, 2016
I normally wouldn't comment on an extension cord but this is just very well made. The angle is perfect for pointing the cable to the floor (I just don't get why so many face the wrong way, vertical wall plates are rare!), the wire gauge can handle some heavier current and the sockets are nice and tight. I recommend it.
Such a lifesaver!
June 29, 2016
I love this extension cord! I actually need to order another one because I keep having to unplug it and take it from one room to another because I love it soooo much and I only have one! I could actually probably use two more... I mainly keep it in my bedroom and it makes it easier to have my phone charger plugged up with ease and I am able to reach it so much more easily! I sometimes move it into my office because I need my printer cord to reach an outlet and by itself it is far too short. Once I plug it in to my printer, however, it is PERFECT! No more hassle and no more worrying about having to move my huge all in one printer in order to plug it in! I also would love to have another one to plug into an outlet that is blocked by my bed because then I can still use that outlet instead of not being able to to! This really is such a lifesaver!

Great size and weight!
October 9, 2017
Perfect size and weight for what we needed. We can't seem to have enough of these around this home of ours. I will buy nothing shorter than a 100 ft anymore. It's amazing how they are never long enough to get the job done with the shorter ones.
Good to go for 12A outdoor usuage.

As an Electrical Engineer let clear up some misconcptions.1.  All ratings are very conservative, as they were tested based on the worse conditions anyone would expect to occur and then some.2.  Current (Amps) limitations are to prevent fire, due to heat build up.  Dissapating heat is a major concern, hence all the vents you see and fans you hear in your PCs and other devices. With that said a cable laying on the ground, outside, and not coiled up, is going to disapate heat much more easily than a cable coiled up or inside a wall, the later being a worst case scenario and one basis for the ampere ratings.  More amps more heat. Note that the ratings are based on 30°C (86°F), thankfully fall is much cooler. From NEC Table 400.5(A)(1) Allowable Ampacity for Flexible Cords and Cables [Based on Ambient Temperature of 30 °C (86 °F).Lists 16 gauge wire for; Condition A* = 10A (listed rating of this cord)Condition B* = 13A*Condition A:   The allowable currents apply to 3-conductor cords and other multiconductor cords connected to utilization equipment so that only 3 conductors are current-carrying.*Condition B:   The allowable currents apply to 2-conductor cords and other multiconductor cords connected to utilization equipment so that only 2 conductors are current-carrying.The 3rd conductor is ground and does not carry current under normal conditions, thus this cable would more accurately fall under Class B (13A). This would certify 12A use. There is another factor, the voltage drop in the cable.  This voltage is not available to the load (e.g, leaf blower) and, if too great, would affect it's operation.  The voltage drop in the wire can be predicted using Ohm's Law (Volts= current x resistance). So now we need the resistance of the cable. The AWG (American Wire Gauge) lists 16 gauge wire having a resistance of 4.016 ohms per 1000ft.  That converts to 0.4016 ohms for our 100ft cable.  Aplying Ohm's Law the voltage drop in  the cable will be - 0.4016 ohms × 12 Amps = 4.82 volts.  This leaves 120v - 4.82v or 115.18v for the load.  More than enough for normal operation.  Yes, this is sized correctly and will work for 12A use without issue. Good to go!One final note on extension cords in general, especially if using a cord reel;Regardless of current demand (12A, 10A, 8A, etc.), to prevent heat build-up that could very possibly melt the insulation and create a fire hazzard;=============》 !!! UNWIND ENTIRE CABLE BEFORE USE!!! 《=============..

I love this cord i-s very sturdy and it hold real well during the winter months when using the cord with the snow blower. It was worth the purchase, and I'm sure other customers will feel the same if they choose to purchase this product.

Great Deal
August 15, 2017
I expect to only buy flat plugs in the future. Why would I want a plug protruding from the wall and interfering with the placing of furniture? I wish they were offered in colors other than white. A previous model I have provides a nicely designed wire on the plug that is a great help in pulling the plug. Without the wire, as is this one, it is somewhat difficult to pull the plug.
It's Okay-Could Be Longer
December 23, 2015
Works great. A little pricey, though. Wish I'd gotten a longer cord than this, but this is a nice extension cord. Two outlets on one side, and one outlet on the other (all three-pronged). Must have a three-pronged outlet for this to connect to for the wall.
Nice flat profile. Works great!
February 25, 2015
I bought this product, because I have a basement where the outlets are halfway up the wall. I have a painting hanging over one of the outlets, but I needed to plug into that outlet. This flat profile extension cord goes nicely behind the painting, while still being able to plug into the wall. The reason for 4 stars instead of stars: the cord doesn't fit perfectly flat against the wall, at the point where the cord extends from the point where it plugs into the wall, which created a bit of a problem for hanging the painting over it.

October 24, 2014
This extension cord work the way you would expect, but does not "hold" the cords in place as strongly as I would like. It holds well, but when I used it for my laptop that has no battery, someone kicked the cord and it disconnected. I would prefer a snugger connection that holds better, but this is the best one ive seen so far. 8/10
Fit well, cable is good quality. I recommend the product
October 14, 2014
Needed this product cos my wife decided to place a big clunky dresser right in front of the only power outlet on the entire wall. Thanks to this item, Im not walking into a dark room anymore. Im now able to use the outlet behind the dresser, without causing any change in shape or dents in the back surface of the dresser. The hanging wedge on the top of the outlets is very kool, can be used very effectively to mount a power outlet at waist height, making it far easier to use.
Well made
March 24, 2014
I should have looked more carefully at the picture because the plug (that goes into the wall socket) turns the cord around 90 degrees. You can't put 2 of these into a single double wall socket. Perhaps this is a safety feature to prevent you from overloading the circuit (you could have 6 high wattage devices plugged in!) but, since I'm careful with such things, it's a limitation. Otherwise it is well made, the 3 sockets are smooth, and it looks like it will last quite a while.

July 12, 2017
This is the perfect cord for what I needed to send to the reps. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because I need to see how it holds up over time. Once I know, I will come back and review with an update.
Long cord
June 28, 2017
It is as advertised a long grounded power cord. It is working well and shows no signs of issues.
Works fine.
June 19, 2017
What can you say about a extension cord. Works fine.
Decent price, long length, fairly safe, but kinks more. Not from Coleman Camping Outfitters as implied.
June 4, 2017
Fluctuating price & coupon was right. Soft Cord kinks easily. These ripples, when wound, catch making it hard to unravel smoothly. Looks wavey. Knots up more than expensive hard cords. Was at my front door a day and a half after ordering at no expense to me. Fine extension for the price.
Light duty only!
July 20, 2016
I'm using this to power a auto air inflation pump. The pump draws 1.5 amps. This is a light duty extension cord meant to handle 13 amps maximum. Even taking into account start up surge, I should be safe. This extension cord is light duty only. A current load anywhere close to the 13 amp maximum should be upgraded to an extension cord made with 14 or even 12 gauge wire.A light duty extension cord should be able to handle work lights, portable fans and hedge trimmers.Shop vacs, lawn mowers, table saws, power drills and chain saws cannot be used safely with this extension cord.
Long Outdoor Cord Is Perfect For Electric Snowblower
March 1, 2016
Bought this as an accessory for an electric snowblower. I had other cords but it seemed wise to get a single long waterproof cord; joining two shorter cords outside in the snow and wet seemed needlessly risky.Glad i did it. Have used it only once but it worked perfectly and with no worries. Not all that cheap, but it seems worth it to feel safe !

Quality consistency?
March 8, 2017
Ordered 2. First attempt never showed up, but Amazon resent the order. One works perfectly. The other one is really finicky. One of the 3 outlets has an unstable connection. If someone bumps the cable, the light plugged into it starts to flicker, even though the plug is snugly in the outlet. Once I switched to one of the other 2 outlets this problem stopped.
Don't use for frequent plugging/unplugging.
November 6, 2016
It's okay. It's the cheapest cord I could find with a right-angle connector on amazon. The three terminal parts at the end are very delicate and wore out with 10 insertions each, so I highly recommend you use this for permanent fixtures, like an outlet that your bed blocks and powering bedside lamps. Extension cords have been around since the dawn of electricity, and I don't know how you can screw one up in the 21st century, but I found a product that did.
The plug is too thick, and it needs to be used on the bottom outlet.
December 1, 2015
Why it lost 2 stars:1. The plug is quite thick. I much prefer the slimmer fitting plugs that hide better behind furniture etc. The white on white photo made me thing it was thinner than it really is.2. The cord extending down from the plug gets in the way, so this needs to be placed on the lower outlet. So in some cases, where you have another device that needs the lower outlet you cant fit both in.I should have paid $1 more and got the slim fitting cord that a cable that hugs the wall at an angle. Those are way more practical for permanent use around the house. This cable is better suited as an extra just in case...
updated review: great design but the plug holes stretch out
August 28, 2015
the design of the strip is smart, as you have two options for which direction the third prong faces which can help with minimizing appearance. unfortunately all of the plug slots have stretched out over time. I have this placed conveniently behind my couch so I can charge my devices and often times I've found myself with a dead battery due to not realizing that the charger plug had slipped out of it. too bad.

May 1, 2015
this is fine, but for the size of the outlets on the end it seems like they could have added another outlet on there or made it smaller overall. And then the cable goes straight down and has no angle, so you can't put any plugs beneath this one, you are limited to only using the bottom plug. Its fine, but not worth raving about. And I would rave about certain plugs like belkin's 12 port power strip which is leaps and bounds better than any powerstrip. But thats a different product category really. I'd recommend something with a right angle to the cord over this. Build quality and finish is nice and it feels safe.

OK for the price.
July 20, 2014
It's a cheap cable (paid $9.99 for the 50' model) and it's light. It's not a bad cable, but you get what you pay for. I have a nice 12 gauge US Wire extension cord that is well made, but heavy. This little guy doesn't seem the most durable, but it hasn't fallen apart either. It does have the benefit of being light (which is natural for a thinner gauge cable). This is good for when you are only going to use a low powered piece of equipment as it's nice to not have to lug around the heavy extension cord. If you are looking to run big tools like table saws, etc. I'd opt for a thicker cable. If you are just looking to run a leaf blower now and then or other lower power jobs then this cable will fit the bill.

It shorted out after using it for six months! The end where you plug it into the appliance caught on fire with a little stream of fire coming from that end. Was lucky enough to detach it from the working appliance that it was being used on. Rubbed off the excess char from the working appliance for it still runs yet the extension cord was charred and one side was flattened.Seeing now if there is still a one year limited warranty on the extension cord itself to replace it. Otherwise will have to pay out of pocket to replace after only six months of using the extension cord. Sure was something to have the appliance stop suddenly then to kick back on to notice the little stream of fire coming from the plug in piece on one side of the cord. At least not a total lose since the working appliance as stated earlier is still workable just had to rub off excessive little char on it.

One out of 3 plugs works
September 22, 2016
I've been using one of these for 2 years, and the cord works well enough - however only one of three plugs on it actually holds onto anything that I plug into it. If I attempt to plug something into the other two plugs, it literally falls right out. Doesn't matter what I plug in - phone charger, computer charger, clothing iron - they all slip right out. Bottom line - you get what you pay for, and this was cheap.
Nice idea, poor execution
July 11, 2016
Took this on a recent trip to Germany. The cord is small enough to pack nicely and has the requisite number of outlets. Unfortunately the outlets are poorly made and I was unable to plug 3-prong plugs into two of the 3 receptacles. This rendered the device pretty much worthless for its intended purpose.I suggest and will follow my own advice by purchasing a more conventional plug strip and just put up with the added bulk in packing.

July 25, 2015
So far, two of these have failed. The insulation cracks where the cord joins the receptacle exposing the bare copper wires. I use this daily to charge my power chair, and wrap it up for storage after each use. This needs a heavier strain relief to prevent cracking.
Has issues
January 4, 2015
Sent back for a refund. The single side plug won't hold a plug. There is something odd about it, it doesn't sit flush. The area around the openings are raised. The side with double outlet is a bit tighter but I can see over time they will be the same as the single side if you are plugging and unplugging things often. I got this to use for my iPad and cell phone because their charger cords are not long enough to reach surge protector. I ended up ordering the Woods 0608 8-Feet Cube Extension Cord with Power Tap, Brown and like it a lot more than this one. All the outlets are nice and tight. I had to have something that would hold the plugs in cause I use my devices while they are charging.
It literally stinks (of salami, fish sauce, something burning).
September 5, 2014
It works just fine, but it has this horrendous odor that I can only describe as a mix between salami and fish sauce, with a hint of something burning. The smell took a whole month to out-gas from the cable, and this is in 80F ambient, which should've sped up the out-gassing. I know what fresh electronics and fresh cable jacket smells are, and this one did not exude those odors. Thankfully, this cable was regulated to a room I don't visit often. I'd probably look for another cable if you're planning on using this in a frequently occupied room, unless you don't mind the smell for the next month or two.

Wouldn't buy this brand again
August 23, 2017
This is listed as an outdoor cord, but when it gets cold it gets really, really stiff. And when it gets hot, I sometimes can't get things to power up. Not much of an outdoors quality. And the brand WAS NOT Coleman!
Double check what you're buying it for.
July 15, 2017
Bought this on suggestion for leaf blower, but it's not heavy duty enough for it. To return it, half my refund would pay for shipping, so guess I'll keep it and see if something else comes along that can use it. :-(
Spend more on a better cord
December 20, 2016
Cord is stiff and coated with some cheap plastic. Very difficult to recoil or work the kinks out. Recommend spending a few more dollars on a higher quality cord.Mine also arrived with a gash in the plastic coating.
Nice length wire
April 23, 2016
Pro: Nice length wire.Cons: With 2 uses outdoors it has developed cracks near the end and at other places of strain. I don't think this is an outdoor wire for Lawn accessories as intended, but may be fine for stationary equipment. The product is not worth the cost.
Should have had three pin connectors.
January 29, 2015
Sold as a packaged recommendation with the GreenWorks 26032 12 Amp Corded Snow Thrower. Well, the Snow thrower is a three pin and this cable is 2 pin so you cana. use it with the risk of electrocuting yourselfb. return it.
Corde became very twisted..
January 3, 2014
This extention cord is perhaps a bit too long, once it is twisted, it doesn't want to uncoil. I thought about hanging long sections of it off my 2nd story window but there doesn't seem to be enough kinetic energy in it to uncoil.. By uncoil I don't mean untangle.. Rather the twisting forces on the cord do not 'unwind'.

As others have said - the plugs are loose... these are worthless. I've bent the prongs on plugs trying to get them to fit tighter, but that doesn't seem to work either. This is the first time I've ever purchased an extension cord that does this.Makes me wonder how it is possible that they have such a high rating. I always check ratings on products before purchase. Somehow this one slipped through.

December 15, 2015
They are flimsy. On both that I ordered, the single outlet on the back of the female end does not work. It also seems that anything you plug into any outlet doesn't align with the contacts inside.
Awful quality.
November 5, 2015
The plugs are lose on the double side. I cannot plug things on both sides because you cannot push them all the way in. The looseness causes the electrical crackling sound that makes me worry about causing a fire.

February 24, 2015
I'm glad I caught it before my house burned down.I've only had one item plugged into this extension cord for the past 6 months. Today I was vacuuming and while moving the cord realized that the darn thing was melting! It had melted so much that the prongs were almost impossible to pull out... This should not have been caused by one simple electronic. I would avoid this product, and buy something of higher quality - I wish I would have, because this thing was seemingly on the verge of spontaneous combustion.

Sheathing tears easily
July 26, 2015
I got this for our electric lawn mower and snow blower 5 months ago. We have been hiring a snow removal service towards the end of the winter (got too fed up with the northeast winter), and our lawn is tiny and we have not been mowing it very diligently, so this cord has not been used much, maybe 10 times or less. However, when I take it out today, I found that the sheathing is already torn! The cord has been on a cord storage roller the whole time, and we are careful not to let it twist, unplugging and unwinding as it needed.I am just very disappointed by the quality of this. We had another outdoor cord that lasted many years, until someone accidentally short circuited it and melted the plug. Never have I seen the sheathing torn so easily - look for another brand unless you want to buy another one soon.
