Side by Side Comparison of: Tauren vs Bose

I bought these for use at our local grade school. They get heavy use, and the teachers tell me that they are still going strong after 3 months. Very sturdy.

I bought these headphones for my daughter. She loves them. Says they are not heavy but definately keep out the noise around her.I would recommend them to anyone. Great product with a great price tag!!

Bought for my father in law for Christmas. He asked for nose canceling headphones for the gym. He didn't want anything fancy so we found these. He says they work great at the gym and likes they are foldable.

So far so good. Long term may change this review, but this size is great, and no volume limit so my kids can actually hear it in the car. They are slightly too large for my 3 yr old... but she doesnt seem to mind.

Headphones don't last around here with 2 special needs kids, so I am impressed with the quality contraction of these. I'm also impressed with how compactly they can be folded! Finally, the sound is great! It's even on both sides and we'll balanced. Wearing them is very comfortable and easy to adjust for different users. The ear parts are well padded and really comfy.

Wanted noise cancelling headphones to block out husbands football on TV for awhile. Especially when I work on the computer and these are great. They fit snug and are adjustable. Perfect for listening to music or watching TV without bothering the entire family. I would even say they are great for traveling to cancel out the noise of flying. They certainly bring peace and quiet to the house with out an expensive price tag. The only thing I notice is that the ears cushions on these headphones are small. Im pretty petite and have small ears so they are covered completely. For those of you who have bigger ears you might not find them as form fitting as I do. Otherwise they are great and foldable so they are easy to pack and put away. I was given a discount on this product in exchange for an honest review.

Great sound for the money. The sound that's produced through the headphones exceeded my expectations. The noise cancelling is satisfactory. These are great headphones, especially for the money. My only complaint, is after wearing them for a long while, it starts to make my ears a little uncomfortable, but it's not really that big of a deal. That's why I gave it a 4 star rating instead of a 5 (for the discomfort after wearing them for a long period of time). I would buy these again, and I would recommend them to anyone.

Great headphones for the price!!! Fold to half the size with ease. Great for traveling. Very comfortable and the noise cancelling is true. Doesn't cancel out all background noise, but on the airplane you don't notice the baby crying three rows behind you while you are watching your movie! Only used twice though!

These headphones do cancel out come noise with music playing. However if you don't have music playing it doesn't really cancel out all that much. But I do feel it's more than your normal headphones. Great price and happy with my purchase. They do ride on the small side. I have small ears but my husband feels that are a tad bit small for him.

After my grandson accidently tore the cord on his other headset in my car door, I thought I'd get him a pair for Christmas. Amazon delivered these pretty fast as he just broke them before Christmas! I like to read reviews from customers before I buy something. I'm really big on researching even a $20 item. Always looking for the best quality at the best price! The reviews on these were really good and the price point great so I ordered them. My grandson loves them! Besides being comfortable and the sound good, I noticed the cord is much heavier than his previous pair.They are a much better made product. Maybe they won't tear so quickly in my car door : ) Since my boyfriend had gotten me a portable cd player for Christmas I'm going to order a pair for myself. The player came with the standard earbuds that never seem to stay in my ears and seem to make my ears sore.

Good sound quality; they block out a bit of ambient noise, but they isn't really a noise canceling feature. Kind of false advertising. Also, the ear cups are a bit small for me and I do not think I have overly large ears. I think that it would be great for children or adults with small ears. Additionally, the box only came with directions in Chinese. It isn't really a probably since headphones are not complicated to use, but, in case you really want directions in English, know that they won't be in the box.

These are really good headphones -- they comfortable, sound great and block out most of the ambient noise without cutting you off from the world. The only negative is that I was lead to believe they were noise cancelling headphones. That is probably my misunderstanding. For the price the sound and the noise they do block I will go ahead and keep these.

The product is fine but, if the earphone padding comes off it is nearly impossible to put back on.

These headphones are OK. But the padding on the ear pieces keep coming off. Getting the padding back on, is very difficult.

The electrical component work well, but the ear cushions fell off in less than a week.

The sound quality is ok. The rubber cover on one side worked its way loose in no time, I couldn't work it back in so i just glued it over. The problem with this headphone is they hurt to wear after a while. Not the volume or sound or anything like that, they feel rough and abrasive. I don't think it's the clamping force either, which doesn't seem excessive, they just hurt to wear after a short time. Wearing these for an hour feels like having sandpaper clamped onto your ears. I think maybe the area they bear against on your head might be just too small vs. larger and more well padded headphones like the Sony or JVC. Not bad enough or expensive enough to send back, but, I won't be buying these again.

Do not cancel noise and one of the ear cushions fell off after a few uses. Still use for listening to music at work but would not buy again.

It noise cancels, sounds good, but not that durable. Mines already started giving me problems after i accidentally pulled the cord

I didn't like it at all. Item broke within a week. Do not buy this item.

They arrived very quickly, and they fold inwards to prevent damage which is nice thus granting the extra star. Other than that, these are very cheaply made and the sound quality is sub par. Also mine crackle and pop when plugged in if the jack is even slightly touched. Better off buying a 12$ pair at walmart.

Noise canceling not so good

Fine sound, not great but both phones work. Hurts my ears after 15 minutes and doesn't keep out background noise.

No sound cancellation as stated. I think it worked for like a week, and then went back to being like any other headphones.

The headphones I got appear to be branded "Gorsun" rather than "Tauren." The one plus? They are the only headphones so far I've tried in this price range that aren't horribly painful on my ears. The design is delightfully plushy on the ears and headband. The appearance is even kinda cool, albeit generic. The sound quality though is pretty much average for the price range. And the noise canceling? Um yeah, no noise canceling whatsoever. Noise reduction? Maybe a little bit, just because they go on top of the ears. For some reason they will only work with my phone, not with my laptop. I went to begin to troubleshoot this but the small manual is entirely in some form of Chinese. Might have to return these, sad to say.

Very uncomfortable and very little adjustment

Received a defected prodeuct tried it on a few different devices and it had the same static noise, defected in and out connections. Unsatisfied

This is junk. There is no noise-cancelling capability. False advertising. The cushion came off the headset after 6 months and very difficult to put it back, needed more than two hands! The connection became loose after few months of use on more than one device (iPhone, Kindle, etc.) so I had to press and hold to hear the stereo, otherwise just the mono. Spend your money elsewhere.

A bad deal. There is no noise canceling mechanism on these headphones, and once you buy it, there is no refund available. Very unhappy. Surprised that this can happen on Amazon.
