There is also an extension for the air hose that could be very useful for certain applications
April 13, 2017
Works well, very quiet compared to similar compressors I've owned in the past. It can take a few minutes to fill up larger tires. The kit has both a cigarette lighter adapter and alligator clips to run direct off the battery. There is also an extension for the air hose that could be very useful for certain applications. Good value.

Very good kit to keep stored in your vehicle incase of a tire emergency. The kit enclosed a compressor that hooks up to 12v outlet or directly to the battery. It also comes with plugs and a bottle of slime
MY SLIME PUMP
January 17, 2017
This is TUFF little unit, I did an experiment in my driveway by hooking up a temperature meter and ran for 15 mins. using the cigarette lighter power with engine off on a 17 inch truck to 65 lbs. and per instructions allowed to cool down for 30 mins, then I connected the battery terminals that came in with this pump and cut the air up time from 15 to 9 mins and the operating temperature 122 to 95 degrees, what does this mean = Less time standing in the cold/rain/heat and less heat build up on the pump = long lasting! It's your time & money, thanks SLIME !!
LifeSaver!
January 22, 2014
Lets start with why I bought this kit. I would normally make fun of a guy with such a kit. But someone had a flat tire at the bar I run, and they filled it with slime, pumped it up and boom done. I was amazed by the kit, and how well the pump works. So I asked where they got it, they said Amazon. As a Prime member I instantly ordered it, and its probably one of the best things I have purchased on Amazon to date. The Pros:Kit has it all. If you have a flat, this will get you going in no timeLight on the Pump is greatExtra cable to go to the another car if neededBattery Cables includedVery well builtThe pump has a lot of power for a little 12 volt pump. And it is built very well.Pressure gauge on the pump is surprisingly accurate. The Cons:NONE!
Great product for the money
August 6, 2013
I have to admit, I haven't actually used the product as it's in my trunk for emergency use only but I opened the case and inspected upon arrival. Everything seems well constructed and will definitely be a life saver in the event of a flat. My car unfortunately came with run flats and no spare tire. I hated the run flats and replaced with standard tires (but yet no spare tire). This will definately come in handy in a pinch. I recommend purchasing a separate bottle of Slime that is TPMS safe if you car has monitoring. The TPMS safe bottle is available in most of your local stores, however I could not find it available on Amazon.
good kit
July 3, 2009
I purchased this kit after switching to conventional tires. It contains all the plugs and tools you'll need to repair typical puncture damage. The compressor is the best part of the kit. It's quiet, fast, and sturdy, and it has a small LED light. It requires a 15-amp connection however. If your socket isn't rated for it, the kit includes battery clips. The air hose screws onto your valve stem and provides a secure, leak-proof connection. All the items are packed in a sturdy soft-sided case. The compressor alone is worth the price; overall, the package is a great value.Update - 1/12/2013The compressor is still going strong. I've used it more than expected to routinely top off my tires. I did have an issue with the hose. The material started degrading (perhaps from heat?), and eventually one of the fittings popped off. I emailed the company to try to purchase another and they sent a replacement for free! Awesome customer service.

Tested the pump on a "skinny spare" and it easily pumps it up to 60 PSI
April 8, 2017
New car had run-flat tires (yuk!) -- swapped for regular performance tires and acquired this Slime kit. Tested the pump on a "skinny spare" and it easily pumps it up to 60 PSI, so all's well.IIRC, in >50 years of driving I've only had 2 flats "on the road" (though have had another 2 or 3 cases of screws/nails through the tire that I noticed in the driveway). Slime is the messy kind of thing I hope I never have to use ... but will be glad to have if I need to.In fact, after weighing the spare tire in our other car, I purchased a second Slime kit and removed the spare from that car, also. Figure I'll take the 1/4+ MPG improvement gained from the weight reduction. We'll see what Mr. Murphy thinks of that move, over the next few years! #;-)

March 24, 2017
Updated Review.I originally gave it 1 star, because the compressor arrived DOA. The light works (so connection/fuse is obviously ok), but compressor never turns on.The kit is otherwise complete and looks high quality. But I guess I should have believed the other reviews that claim the compressor is DOA.Update: I contacted their customer support. Spoke to a live person in the US after a few minutes holding. They agreed to send me a voucher to buy a replacement kit at Walmart or their other retailers. Today I in fact received the voucher for $70.00 which is more than what I paid for the kit.I think it is a fair and speedy resolution, so I upgraded the review to 4 stars.
Compressor Works Fine; Stick Tire Gauge Inaccuarate; Concerned Over Repackaging and Amps
November 17, 2014
Slime tire repair kits were recommended to me by a respected, knowledgeable friend.I used the compressor for the first time last week, and it worked as expected. The contents of the kit look impressive, but I have two criticisms and one concern.First, the stick tire pressure gauge was grossly inaccurate, but the needle gauge on the compressor appeared to give an accurate reading.Second, I did not have to use the tightly packed 16-foot coiled air hose but am greatly concerned that when I do that I will be unable to cram it back into the carrying case which does not have any spare space in it.My concern is over the 15 amp requirement. My cigarette lighter is rated at 10 amps but does has a 15 amp fuze. My friend told me not to worry about it, but my operator's manual makes it clear that I should not plug-in anything over 10 amps. I do understand that I can hook the compressor directly up to the battery, but that seems a bit cumbersome and adds another step to the process.
Total Package for tire repair
August 5, 2014
Total Package is what I was looking for to carry in a small cubby hole storage area in my Corvette, this looks like it will work perfectly so I ordered one, shipping only took four days, I tested the compressor out using the cigarette lighter outlet & no problem also the direct connection to battery without a problem, all the plugs & tools look to be of quality, the compressor gives ample air flow with pressure, emergency light was a nice addition too, I have not had to use it on the road yet & maybe never will but it's peace of mind that this compact kit provides. I only gave it 4 stars because I have not used it on a flat tire yet out on the side of a road. I would reccomend this to anyone that does not carry a spare & does not want to wait for AAA to show up.
Beware Of The Expiration Date!
May 28, 2014
I had originally picked up three of these. Two for my two cars and one for my dad. I was going to just put these in the trunk and forget about them. After reading a few reviews online about shelf life, I decided to check out the expiration dates before storing them away. I'm so glad I did, as all three kits were expired. I contacted the company and was told that they would still last two more years. But why should I purchase something that has 1/2 the shelf life over other kits that weren't expired? I returned all three which Amazon quickly refunded me for. Don't be swayed about the item though. I've used Slime products over the years and was always satisfied. Just check the expiration date when you do purchase something like this.
compact, (relatively) quiet compressor
March 10, 2013
I've been carrying this model of compressor in my trunk for a couple of years now. It's a lot quieter than some of the other compressors I've bought, and it's a lot speedier than my old one. This kit comes with a very useful tire patch kit, and alligator clips so that you can hook up directly to a battery if your lighter socket isn't rated for the draw needed, for the same price as the compressor alone; it's a deal. The slime sealant may work if you are desperate; keep in mind that it generally ruins the tire. Many cars no longer come with even a doughnut spare tire; unless you want to be stuck at the mercy of AAA, carrying a compressor and patch kit is necessary insurance against hours-long waits for rescue. I've saved quite a few neighbors with this nice compressor. Be warned it does heat up quite a lot; I wouldn't recommend trying to shove it back into the carry bag until it's thoroughly cooled.

Ordered 2 and only 1 works
March 2, 2017
I would've give 5 stars but I ordered 2 as Christmas presents and while 1 works great I must've received a defective one cause it won't even turn on. I tried different outlets and then plugged in the 2nd one purchased and it works flawlessly. I still would've given a 5 star review had there been a contact seller link to get this product exchanged but I can't seem to find a way to contact the seller. I did order this in November and just now needed to use it and that's why I'm just now noticing that the one doesn't work. Thankfully I was at home when I needed to use it and not out with no other option as I would've been left stranded or needing to call for help.
Would not recommend
October 5, 2016
Its ok, but if you use it on a tire, u might as well throw the tire out as it can not be repaired at any shop. could keep it as a spare, but how many spares does one need. product labeling should be required to inform public that it is not for anything but an emergency and tire is not salvageable once it has been used. The green slime is not the issue, it is the plug material and method it must be used that leaves the tire unable to be properly repaired.

So So...
August 18, 2014
Works, but slow. the pressure gauge is a joke. You'll need to buy an upgrade to you can have a accurate reading. I have not tried it on my 33" tires, but very doubtful it'll be able to add additional pressure. Good for both my wife and i commuter car (usual 16" tires).
Do NOT depend upon this as your fail safe!
November 17, 2012
The FIRST TIME I tried using the compressor it worked for 10 seconds and died. Done, Dead. Never to work again. So, while I was able to get a plug in the tire - I wasn't able to get any air into it. Luckily we weren't far from home and were able to limp it back.Update 11/20: After contacting slime it did take them a few days to respond, but when they did it was very helpful and very fast. They sent me a replacement item same day. Hopefully this one will be more durable - I'll update this post based upon the result.

and it looked like it had been used
July 23, 2017
Received this gift for Christmas from my wife. Did not have the opportunity to use it until this summer while on vacation. Plugged it in and it did not work. Tore it a part, since it was out of warranty from amazon, and it looked like it had been used, got hot and quit working and was possibly returned. Every thing looked original when I opened the kit. If you buy this kit, please make sure it is working properly.
the experience was not good at all
December 29, 2016
I purchased two of these repair kits as Christmas gifts. Unfortunately for the folks that received them as gifts, the experience was not good at all. Both items had the same issue, neither air compressor worked when switched on. The light switched on with no problem, on both compressors. I found it very unusual that both failed to turn on. The problem was not due to lack of power as the lights turned on with no problems. I followed Amazon’s return process which was very quick and easy, requesting replacements. After receiving the replacements, the same situation existed for both of them. Those will be returned as well. In short, the Amazon experience was very good, the product on the other hand was in no way satisfactory.

January 27, 2016
I just ordered this product (48 Piece kit) and it was missing all the plugs for repair. The kit appeared to be unopened as well, and enclosed in the cardboard that showed the plugs. Also, the slime inside was from 2013. Slime says to replace the bottle after 2 years old, so I would have had to replace it the day I got it. I'm requesting a new one, and hope it comes complete and with a newer bottle.
Does not meet expectations
June 3, 2015
Everything looks fine to me, except . . . . While the air compressor starts just fine under minimal load, while filling my 'traveling wheels' for my small rv trailer, I soon found that it simply runs out of 'gas' at 20 psi. It slows markedly above about 12 psi, and by the time it hits it's personal ceiling, it simply stops! 20 psi may work for riding lawnmowers and/or compact tractors, it's hardly adequate for a 1/2 ton pickup, rv/cargo trailer, or even my hybrid auto w/ low resistance tires! I'm unhappy!!!

Do not rely on this compressor.
November 30, 2016
The kit is comprised of good components. I tested the compressor out before stashing it in my car and it appeared to function well. When I had a low tire and I actually needed the compressor though, I found that the compressor's fuse blew after 5-10 seconds. No problem - they included a spare! Well, that fuse also blew after 30 of really weak output. Clearly the compressor is faulty and left me high and dry when I actually needed it. Emergency kits like this are only good if you can rely on them, and I would not recommend anybody rely on this particular kit.
DOA - Again!
November 29, 2016
This is the second straight compressor that has been DOA. It actually tried to run for about half a second, where the first one didn't even make it that far, but both were junk. The LED light powers on, and I tired numerous power sources, both battery and cigarette lighter, but no luck. It appears to be a common theme with many recent reviews.
:( Died After Inflating 1 Tire! "
November 27, 2016
1 Tire! That's all it could inflate before it died! I plugged it directly to the battery on my Corolla using supplied connector and it took tire from 20 to 32 PSI in around 1 minute. Moved to other tire, won't even turn on! After few disconnects and reconnects light started turning on. Ut as soon as compressor switch is turned on, compressor won't turn on and light would die too. Tried directly with cigarette lighter too but same result. My bad for not testing it before bringing it home from half way around the world. Disappointed! Will contact customer service after I get back.
im not going to recommend this.

December 8, 2015
I've used this maybe 3 times and it has just died out. The needle that shows the psi started vibrating side to side a lot, to the point where you could no longer read the psi. 1 minute after that happened the machine stopped working and will no longer turn on. I've maybe filled 12 tires in all, maybe 30 minutes of total use before it burnt out.Edit: I contacted the company via email and they sent me a new one within a week. We will see how long this one lasts
