Has Not Let Me Down So Far
October 6, 2015
This bipod does the job for me. Everything on it functions as it should. I have used it on my .22 Remington 597, and also on my Winchester model 70 chambered in .308 win. I shot around 500 rounds of .22 and 60 rounds of .308 and the bipod functioned flawlessly. Some reviewers said they had no clue as to how to attach it to their rifle as no instructions were included, but if you look at the bipod it is pretty much a no brainer. I honestly can't compare it to a Harris as I don't own one; however, for the money, I consider it a reliable and useful item.
Strong Lightweight Low Profile When Folded Against The Stock
August 23, 2015
I purchased this bi pod to attach to the forward sling swivel on a Ruger American 30.06. Cant always get the spot where I have the ability to use what the Marine Corps taught me and get the position needed to shoot 300-400 yards or further so I gave into age which comes with lessened flexibility and the physical ability to settle in to the contortionist position needed for accuracy.I am a die hard believer in believing that shooting requires you to almost become one with the weapon. I like going to the range laying prone on a mat with nothing more than a sling for support. Its always fun to out shoot those who show up and all but lock down the rifle on a bench so there is almost no interaction other than pulling the trigger. How is that shooting? Anyway...I digress.Moral of the story...this bi pod is light enough to not significantly change the shooting experience. I can keep it on the sling swivel folded up and the profile is low enough to enable prone shooting without it interfering or I can lower it and use it for additional support. Enough to assist without taking over and making the shooter along for the ride. It also works well for kneeling but when trying offhand the weight is noticeable. The bi pod is easily removed though when shifting to offhand.I would recommend this product highly. Strong, light weight, stable, and adjustable plus it has a low profile folded.
You won't regret buying this!
August 10, 2015
I bought one of these initially at 18.50 and love it. then I saw it go for 15.50 and had to buy another. The Bipod is well made and is light but not flimsy. the construction of the unit is tight tolerances and exceptional performance for any price, especially this cheap! The only complaints are that the knob to tighten down the unit feels like it could pop off (mine hasn't though) but I'm not too concerned because it is just a basic machine bolt so I could easily replace it with a new one with an Allen or Phillips head, this could also be a solution to the fact that the knob slightly sticks out and can seem bulky. the other complaint is that there needs to be a nut added to that same bolt to help lock it in place so that it won't loosen during use. Once again you could easily fix this yourself just an observation. All in all this bipod is a fantastic option and looks great and works great for a great price!
Surprisingly Well Made Bi-Pod
December 12, 2014
Bought this as a Christmas present for my brothers tactical Savage 64FV-SR. At $20 I did not have high expectations however it is actually just as nice as some of my more expensive bipods. I have a $50+ UTG which is extremely well built but it has a swivel so you can shift your rifle from left to right without picking it up and readjusting your line of sight. This bipod does not have that feature and honestly I like it more. It's also not as bulky or heavy as its competitors. The legs are spring loaded, meaning you press the extension button and they shoot out to full length. If you want less height, simply press the button and push the legs in to the desired length. The legs do have 1" notches which is super helpful at letting you know which height setting you're on.At first sight I was a bit disappointed at the way the bipod attached to the swivel stud simply because I had no experience with that type of attachment. However, upon actually installing it on the rifle it was super sturdy and there is no wiggle whatsoever.I will be buying a few more of these for my other rifles. Again, very impressed.
Best 20 bucks ever spent!!!

Very well built bipod. I got standard shipping and it was delivered 3 days earlier from set date of arrival, FAST SHIPPING.... I bought this bipod for my savage 308 and it has held up to 80 rounds so far... Wish it came with instruction but it didnt. All and all its worth every penny considering walmart where i live has the same exact one but made by somebidy else for 55 bucks.... also this bipod attaches to the strap studs on any gun, an then you can attach your strap to the bottom of the bipod...
great product, great price, super fast shipping!
September 22, 2014
i have purchased 3 other bipods of this style in the past, 2 exactly the same avg $45 and one longer one for $55... i see no difference in this bipod when compared to the ones i purchased previously... shipping was fast, 3 days! will have order a couple more soon, at this price is a steal... highly recommended product for the price...Gary G. from TX

July 9, 2016
Set this up today on a Ruger 10/22 takedown model 21133. This is a a great bipod that appears to be identical in construction and quality to one of my more expensive Harris bi-pods. It works fine with the Ruger BX25 25 round magazine. The magazine does not hit the ground when the rifle is on a level surface. The bipod is solid and stable. Set up is extremely easy. The quick detach lever works great too. Legs extend to 7 inches. I will update this post after I have fired this from a benchrest. So far, I would definitely recommend to other shooters.UPDATE 07/11/16So I ordered The Outdoor Connection Original Padded Super Sling. I had some difficulty trying to mount this sling onto the sling stud. The sling swivel rubs against the legs of the bipod. Be aware that you may need to try several slings in order to mount it correctly so it will work. It looks as if a 2 point sling will work better with this bipod. I will keep updating any other issues.
Can't do much better for the price.
January 13, 2016
For the price, it would be hard to beat this bipod. It has a sling swivel adapter with a picatinny mount, so it can be attached to any rifle with a swivel stud. It can also be easily swapped to any rail system. I have the swivel adapter on my Savage 308, and mount this directly to the rail on my AR. If you are shooting 30 round AR mags, you might have an issue with the bottom of the mag hitting the table (depending on how your table is set up). When I have my varmint upper on (which is the upper I use this bipod for), I use 10 round mags anyway since the larger ones just seem to be more of a hindrance in prone position, so it doesn't bother me a bit.Seems to be pretty stable, even with the weight of a fairly heavy rifle. If you're wanting a bipod and don't want to spend $100 or more, get this one. You'll only ever have an issue with it when using 30 round AR mags if your shooting table isn't set up so the mag would be in an open space. In response to the reviewer who had trouble adjusting the swivel nut, I had no issue with mine. Loosened the set screw, adjusted the tension screw, tightened the set screw. The only thing that could make this any better would be to offer it with an extra inch or two of extension. But then, I'm sure, the price wouldn't be as good.
Great Add-On!
March 28, 2015
This bi-pod is beautiful. I recently purchased this to complete my Medium Range rifle project. It is more than I expected it to be, for only costing a little over $40. It is solid, sturdy, and snaps into place. When I say snap, I mean snap! It takes some force to extend and stow it. I have had it now for a few weeks and I have yet to have it move of it's own free will. The screws lock into place and have not come undone yet. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.
Fantastic price for this sturdy bipod
February 12, 2015
Fantastic price for this sturdy bipod, fits my modified MP10 with a quad rail just perfectly! 20 round mag can be used as well with this, the quick detach (QD) is perfect for someone who will use their firearm In multiplie locations! Deer hunt from a ground blind with a ledge? Pop it on for a stable shot! In a tree... Pop it off if it's In your way when it's folded up!
No complaints
January 27, 2015
Love the bipod. But if you like 30rds it's an issue if you don't have your mags to overhang a table or the sort. But other than that it's durable and reliable.

you kind of have to take the good with the bad
January 13, 2017
It does the job for bench rest shooting but is not ideal for anyone who would be taking it on and off to use on additional rifles. And, at 25% the cost of a comparable Harris bi-pod, you kind of have to take the good with the bad.

Need the wood mount assembly for this to get higher marks. I would not go to extremes with this one. But the value is there if you have the mind to set up.
Got what i wanted.
November 20, 2015
The "adjustment stops" are a little annoying from what I'm used to, but solid enough for the .22 it's on, I wouldn't be put off to try it on my M1A, seems sturdy and we'll built.
Good deal
June 18, 2015
After some use on my .22, it started to come loose so I tightened it back up. However, the plastic outer grip on the adjustment screw stripped out and now it just goes in circles without tightening or loosening anything.Luckily the screw also has an Allen wrench hole on it, so it's not really a problem. Still happy with my purchase.Warning though: it can be a little confusing figuring out how to attach a bipod to a sling swivel for the first time, though anyone with a brain and a working eyeball should be able to figure it out. The hard part would be trying to attach it to a foregrip that has any curve to it, i.e. isnt perfectly flat. We installed an after market sling swivel screw to my nephew's Mossberg 702 on the plastic foregrip. That foregrip has a curve to it and we had to re-place the swivel screw in a different spot after trying to attach the bipod wouldn't work on the first attempt. It's a little hard to explain. I think when possible, put a picatinny rail on your gun and get a bipod that'll attach to the rail. No headaches there.

April 28, 2015
Solid bi-pod but I don't know if I would put it on a large caliber rifle. I think this would be perfect for .223 and lower though if you just want a budget bipod. For larger caliber such as .308 i'd go with a caldwell or harris but of course this is just my opinion.

Thank god for plastic stocks. Lol.
June 9, 2017
So I mounted this on my new Savage B22 FV-SR. The front of the stock tapers. This made it a pain to mount the swivel mount adapter. I used a dremel with a 2mm ball tip and created a groove around the mount closest to the trigger and the sides leaving the front alone. This made it "level" enough for the threaded adapter to fit onto the post. The rest of the installation was textbook.

April 3, 2016
Very, very, very heavy material. Very short stature which is what I wanted. I mounted on a 22. So there is no recoil. I'm sure it will hold tight way past a 308 no problem. It's a bit heavy.. The legs are thick. But very rigid. I read as post that there mount was a little wobble to it... But the quick detach is easy.. Then with an Allen wrench can tighten 100%. I knocked off a star only cause it was a bit bulky.. But for the price you can't go wrong. I would put it on my Remington 700 .308 in my magpul chassis.. But that is a swivel stud.
Great Product For Dudes On A Budget
March 20, 2016
For the money this bi-pod does exactly what you need it to, I purchased this to help provide a stable platform for medium to long range hunting/recreational shooting. Definitely satisfied with my purchase. My only gripe would have to be the bi-pod working loose (slightly) after heavy shooting/use, oh and it took me a minute to figure out how to get it properly mounted to the sling swivel, but that was just me being stupid lol! All in all this product does exactly what I need it to!
A Good Bipod For Bench Shooting
March 2, 2016
A nice compact tactical bipod. It seems decently well made and provides solid support for the front end of my SIG MCX when bench shooting. I deducted 1 star because the legs don't retract unless you get the release buttons pushed all the way in and lined up. Once you're used to them it's not as much of an issue, but if you were in a stressful situation you might not get them popped in as quickly as you'd like. Still a good bipod for the money spent.
but can't swivel side to side like other bipods
February 24, 2016
Works well for the most part, but can't swivel side to side like other bipods, so if something isn't perfectly level you will notice it thru your optic. If you are shooting with an optic or long range, then this will work just fine.

Good for the price . BUT right leg is loose by about 1/4 of an inch . Gave out first time at the range. Not horrible but when aiming through my scope you notice the off balance. It was cheap anyway. Will continue to use until it becomes unbearable.

Average rated bipod for light caliber
April 7, 2015
I just received this bipod. I'm giving it an average rating. I installed it on a .17 cal Savage rifle. I own a lot of bipods (varying quality) installed on various rifles. I would NOT install this bipod on anything larger than a .22 cal. It's just okay although I haven't used it while actually shooting. For the price and light caliber install, it's just okay. By the way, NO INSTALLATION DIRECTIONS included, for me it was no big deal, but for a novice, could be an issue??

Great Bi-pod, but one spring already broke for the retractable leg, damn...
poor design decision
February 20, 2016
Panning is near non existent, too difficult to pan and over stresses springs and moves legs before any meaningful panning occurs. For whatever reason the legs are spring assisted to close not open, poor design decision.Works As a bipod, but plenty of weird design decisions
Use the swivel adapter for best results.

Its a little hard to keep it tight, and keep from falling off. Other than that, its your slightly below average bipod. Good price though.

March 25, 2015
This is a good quality item for the price. Was really impressed with the quick release mount. Wish I could find the mount separate so I could quickly change bipod around on my rifles.
feels sturdy, the screws are cheap.
March 11, 2015
It feels super sturdy. Very solid construction. My only complaint is the little hex screw that you use to tighten the QD level; it's junk. If you accidentally overtighten, the screw will dethread. Happened to me, and now my bipod is stuck on my rail.

February 23, 2015
The spring in the right leg failed to operate, after the first time it was used on the range. I have read other accounts indicating the same thing. Other than that, the bipod worked well. I was able to use 20 and 30 round magazines with this bipod, within reason, not a lot of clearance.

At first great but then....
September 10, 2015
Let's start by saying for the price it is a good deal. I tried other "cheap" bipod sand this was feels to be of much higher quality. I was going to give it 4 stars but the. On the third time out using it the spring in one of the legs broke. It still works as it is only the spring inside one of the legs. So it is a good Harris style bipod but you are getting a substandard product.

Decent with some flaws.
December 16, 2015
The spring that retracts one of the legs broke within a month. The QD makes it nice to move from gun to gun. It is not long enough to use on an AR15 with a standard 30 round mag. The mag always seems to hit the ground causing limited shooting angles.

product will not fit every high powered rifle, i wish it was stated or came with some sort of fittings to make it work but comes only with one installment way i have 4 rifles will not work on any.other wise it may be ok be sure it will work on yours

It seems solid but as others have said it's crazy short. Also, mine had globs of superglue on the legs. It just looked cheap. I wanted to really like it and it seemed sturdy. Back to Amazon.

August 24, 2015
Okay but not built for all rifles. This is more a tactical device for show, though I have to say that at least it has real points for settling in for a long range shot. If you spent a crap-ton of money for a rifle and glass, this is not your bipod. If you didn't it is serviceable and will answer.

Bipod legs are uneven and is unusable.
February 28, 2015
The bipod while sturdy is uneven one leg is shorter than the other and so it is unusable as it does not allow the rifle to sit level. I am very disappointed by this bipod and cannot recommend it. I would have rather paid more money for something that actually was usable.
