Best mascara ever! Goes on thick but not clumpy. Give my lashes a ton of volume. In the first week I started using it two people asked me if I was wearing fake eyelashes. I like the brush, it's not big and fat so I don't poke myself in the eye. It's crazy waterproof to the point I need makeup removing oil to get it off. I don't see this as a problem but it is a pain to get off.

I used to have a hard time with my mascara/eyeliner running due to irritation. Now I can put this on once and spend hours outside with sun and wind in my eyes no problems. I also like that I can curl my lashes much better with this than I could my last mascara. The wand on this allows for very separated lashes. I will continue buying this! Tip: get waterproof makeup remover!

this mascasra is awesome. makes my eyelashes look super long (mine are non existant lol). it is just really hard to get off (even with an eye makeup remover)

I'm not a brand loyalist. Really. Not picky about clothes, food, or much of anything. But this mascara? This is a must. I've never had irritation, clumping, or issues with it rubbing off. I'll occasionally get darkness under my eyes, but I think that's just the way my eyes are shaped- I've always had that problem.

I've been using this for over 5 years. Highly recommend it! It gives me the volume I'm seeking for and the length without any clumping. I've been asked whether I wear fake lashes! It really is that wonderful.

Why can't I buy this locally anymore? The only color in stores is black. My fair coloring needs brown, so fortunately I am able to order through Amazon--thank you! I teach exercise and dance, and after sweating all day, this mascara has stayed put and not run into my eyes or made rings below them.

This Precise eyeliner is my favorite. I have used other liners in the past that will skip or bead up along the eye line I had just drawn, but this covers everything in one perfect even coat. I have been searching for a good eyeliner pencil for a long time. I have tried other gel pencils, but this one is just perfect! It goes on smoothly, does not pull, and can be smudged if you want that look. My eyelids are rather oily, even with eye primer, so I really like the fact that it stays on all day. I admire my friend’s long eyelashes, she said she uses Hairgenics Lavish Lash Eyelash Growth Enhancer and Brow Serum I have tried a number of products to grow my brows back after a few bad brow shaping incidents. I tried the Lavish Eyelash serum I cannot believe the results. The tails of my lashes have grown back and two of the sparse areas are filled in again. One spot is completely filled in again and the other is well on its way.

Finding the perfect eye liner is like a marathon, you just have to keep going until you find the right one. I tear up when laughing and since laughter is the best medicine, I am laughing all day. When looking for eyeliner I want one with a super fine tip that is easy to apply, doesn’t tug my eye lid and stays put. This has fit the bill for each need. It stays in place all day. To remove I use an oil based cleanser and it takes it right off. It doesn’t budge unless you are rubbing your eyes and tearing up at the same time for quite a while. Also it is super easy to do a fine line, cat eye and a thick line. I have bought this 3 times now and will continue to buy it over and over again.

This is my favorite. I love liquid eyeliner but it is hell applying it. This is the best of both worlds. I love how it's liquid in a pen form. It's super easy to apply and it lasts all day! I have another eyeliner pen like this one which feels heavy on my eyelid and kind of causes irritation, but this one is great, lightweight with good pigmentation. You can do a thick wing or a thin one, it's great! In my picture you can see what i'm talking about. It goes on darker with primer. I use elf's face primer.

I have had this liner for a few months now and it still does the job just as well as if I'd just got it yesterday. I'm not sure how long it will end up lasting me, but I will definitely be replacing it with the same liner after it runs out. I'm a make-up junkie. I LOVE my make-up and I generally purchase the expensive stuff. I like quality that lasts and does it's job and unfortunately, you have to spend a little more to get that. This liner was the exception to that rule. It's incredibly easy to apply and it goes on smoothly over my eyeshadow. It stays all day with no "chipping or flaking". I'm honestly glad I found this product :)

Only waterproof that really stays on.

I use this with an eyelash curler and another maybelline mascara that is for volume. This one covers the length of the lashes, but buy itself I feel that it lacks volume.

So far I really like it. I have asian eyes and most mascaras rub off on my lids, but so far this does not seem to transfer as much as the others.Update: after wearing this for a while i realized how much more it smudged. I had to downgrade the rating simply because it smeared and wasn't good for me. I have monolid eyes and They smudge. Looks great going on but doesn't last the day. For people with monolid eyes this won't last. But I'm sure this would be fine for those that don't.

As often times it happens, you find a product you like and are willing to pay full retail for, and then . . . you can't find it any longer, as it's been replaced by "something new"! This is a great mascara - I need waterproof because I wear contacts and I like the brownish-black color it comes in (not just harsh black). It gives my fine lashes the perfect emphasis without the BIG BIG false look that is the current trend -- however, that too can be achieved if you just keep reapplying.

I generally have low expectations and forgiving standards for make-up. This eyeliner is pretty nice though, especially for the price. The flexible marker-like tip makes application easy. I have noticed though that initially it comes out a little light but then will getter darker after the first few strokes. (That could be because I store it upright and the ink might be running away from the tip.) So I just have to retrace my lines and then they're nice and dark. On hot humid days it sometimes rubs off on my upper eyelid (above the crease), but it's not too bad and wipes away easily.

I honestly like this eyeliner! I've only ever had to touch up the part next to the corner of my eye and that's mainly because I'm an eye wiper. I have noticed though that the product inside the pen doesn't last very long. I would only have for maybe a month, maybe a little longer, and I could tell that liner would get a lot lighter, it wasn't as bold, per say. Maybe a month is as long as eyeliner usually lasts? I don't know... I just expect it to last a little longer. Still a good product though, it's my fall back!

I'm used to applying liquid eye liner (the kind that you dip into) and this is more of a marker than liquid. It still is nice and I use it occasionally but it doesn't apply as boldly as liquid or gel eyeliners apply. The product itself works fine as advertised I guess, I just was trying something different and felt it doesn't give you as much of a bold or straight-edge look like the other types of eye liner does.

Nice color, and good quality for the price. I'm not sure if it was a mistake but I received two eyeliners in the mail when I only paid for one (?) I am definitely not complaining, though.This eyeliner is great if you are looking to wear it for a short amount of time or if you are willing to carry it around with you. The reason for that is because they seem to come off rather easily (easily as in blinking too hard or lightly touching your eye). It is a little bit of a hassle having to reapply my eyeliner for a longer day, but the good thing is that it doesn't smudge all over your eyes if you accidentally end up brushing against it with your hand.Overall, I'm not angry at the eyeliner since it was so cheap and the color was nice and vibrant, but I would stick to a different brand if I were to need eyeliner for a long night out.

I like this eye liner, it applies smoothly and stays on. I have hooded eyes and for me some eyeliners don't dry fast enough and I have it all over the top of my eyelid, but this dries quickly and isn't messy. I also love that it's a matte liner, because I don't like shinny liners. Prefect for whatever look you are going for! I would recommend this to anyone, and have to my friends!

I have used this liner for over a year now. I absolutely love the applicator and the formula goes on so easily. It took me a few tries to understand how to use it but now I can put it on within seconds. I love how the matte formula looks and how it feels.My biggest complaint is it's staying power. When I wear this eyeliner I always find some smudged under my eye, making me have raccoon eyes. While making a perfect winged eyeliner is extremely easy with this applicator, the wing will not stay for more than 3 hours before moving under your eye. I attached a (highly edited) photo of a night out after dancing. I started with winged eyes and a medium line. By the end of 3 hours I have no wings left, the line has increased in size, and there is eyeliner under my eyes. This photo was also taken after I rubbed a bunch off from under my eyes.I will admit to having oily eyelids but when normal blinking moves the eyeliner it's too much. Basically, if I do nothing but blink all day it will be half gone by 8 hours, which is saddening since it looks so amazing in the morning.This product has lasted me forever though. I'm not sure when it will run out.

It smeared more often and more easily than I expected. The last mascara I had before this one was a cheap, impulse buy. You know, the kind of stuff they put close to the cashier at a Victoria Secret - and that one turned out to be really great. This one, not so much. I don't like raccoon eyes. It's advertised as waterproof, so I did not expect it to flake off when I touched my face. Especially if you wear contact lenses I wouldn't recommend this version. Other Maybelline products I have used were better. On the plus side, it's jet black.

It lasts and has very little clumping. The but brush could be better and it is not great for skimpy bottom lashes.

I had hoped that I would love this mascara, but no. The brush is too long and the tip gets in the way of applying it. The brush also has very hard bristles and can stratch the lid line. The application requires more than two coats and it really doesn't lengthen the lashes much.

I can see why some people may like this eye liner--to me it is for the eye liner drawing newbies. It applies the liner as is, as if it were a pencil/marker. The reason I do not like these type of liners is because it does not allow for the natural wisps that can be drawn using classic liquid eye liner brushes. I'm going to be back to my NYC liquid eye liner brush. The reason I purchased this eye liner was because it had so many good reviews, and so I can try something new. I would not buy this product again.

This is my go to eyeliner, but I think I might switch soon. I'm not sure if the eyeliner runs out super quick or if the tip just dries out super fast. It's not like I'm putting a lot on or often, but I use it a couple times and in maybe a week its dried out... I might go back to getting it at a drugstore, because it could just be the ones I'm buying have been sitting around for a while. Not worth only having great eyeliner for only a week.. if that. Great deal, looks good when new and putting it on, but a waste with having to go through so many pens.

I tested this out on my hand and it was pretty black. But when I put it over my eyeshadow it went full gray, I even shook the pen but it still came out gray. I would recommend putting this on before you put your eyeshadow on. Also The tip seems to not hold as much product as the rest of the applicator.

I really should have paid attention to the online reviews for this product. It seems great in theory. The tip is nice and sharp and the barrel is slim and easy to hold, but like so many people noted in the reviews, the liner itself seems very dry. I have to go over 3-4 times to get a solid line, and that pretty much eliminates my ability to get that super-smooth winged look. I have never used this product before, so I do not know if the product itself is faulty or if I just got a bad one, but the package looked new and fresh, so I have no reason to believe that it is anything other than a subpar product from Maybelline. I recommend the Stiletto instead. The tip is not as easy, but the product is much "wetter" making for an easier, smoother application.

UPDATE a year later:I don't often wear eyeliner but when I do wear this one, it has ALWAYS smudged on me. I considered this an HG before because of the low price, the pigmentation, and the ease of use. But now I've found a CHEAPER eyeliner that offers all of that AND has great staying power. The Essence waterproof liner is my HG now and doesn't smudge even if I don't wear a primer. Compared to that eyeliner, the maybelline master precise is just not up to par.ORIGINAL REVIEW:HG Eyeliner. Easy to use and dark as hell. You probably need a primer underneath if you have oily eyelids because it will probably smudge throughout the day (I know it does for me). But for the price, this eyeliner does everything I want well.

Info About Me: 23 yrs old, I have oily skin, including oily lids and naturally tan skin.This eye liner is okay. I'd been religiously using the Stila Stay All Day Liquid Liner in Black religiously for several years and wanted to find a cheaper alternative since those are about $21.00-$22.00 each and the expense was racking up. I tried this as an add-on. I also tried the Kat von D Tattoo Liner, which I like and it's a few dollars cheaper than the Stila one. I would give this 4 stars instead of 3 because of the price, but people be warned: this eyeliner migrates, even with a primer like the UD Primer Potion. I wear eyeliner every day and NEVER did the Stila/Kat Von D end up under my eyes by the end of the day. One day of mildly laborous work (a lot of work) and this stuff was embarrassingly smudged under my eyes. Color pay off also isn't as pigmented but it's certainly not bad. I think I'm going to stick with the Kat Von D Tattoo Liner--this one isn't for me but if makeup doesn't smudge on you, definitely give this a shot. I'm not going to anymore.

I ordered waterproof. It was streaking when I went swimming

I was excited to try this mascara because I wear contacts, live in the south,and need waterproof formula. Disappointed!It was dried up and clumped on my eyes lashes as soon as I put it on.

It could have been this particular mascara container, but it was very dried out. I used it one time and that's all I will be able to use it. Very disappointed in the product. I purchased after this specifically after reading reviews from another source other than Amazon. Will not buy again.

I was hoping this mascara would do as much as my discontinued Lash Stylist but it disappoints. I have wimpy Asian lashes and this just gives me very thin spiky lashes that does not wow at all. It does hold my curl but I think any waterproof mascara can do that. Oh well, back to my search for a dupe to Lash Stylist.

This mascara definitely makes my lashes look longer and the waterproof staying power is great. Unfortunately, it clumps very easily making it difficult to apply. More often than not, I am not happy with the way it looks. I would not purchase again.

I bought this with higher expectations from what I've read from the reviews. It clumps easily and if I take a different lash wand to seperate it, it takes away my length. Not a fan of this.

This eye liner is horrible! After you apply it to one eye it's all dried up and you can't apply to the other eye until you let it sit a few minutes, Why is it like that? I was hesitant buying it because it seamed to good to be true but it had good reviews so I bought it, now I wished I hadn't. There's no way of telling how full it is either so you never know when it's going to run out, not a good thing. It works great on the first eye but then when it's time to put it on the second eye it stops working! It also irritates my eyes for some reason. I won't buy it again!

The first application of this is perfect after that it starts to become a struggle to do the whole line in one motion. The tip works awesome on cat eyes in the beginning. Really quickly it kind of turns into something like a dried up marker. Even if you leave the lid on and shake it before use. I can't justify buying something that I can only get a few good uses out of even if it is pretty cheap.

Of the two shipments I've received, the first arrived extremely dry out of the packaging. After vigorous shaking, it still didn't produce anything. It was defective. Amazon easily sent me a replacement.The second package that I've received was better. It didn't seem as dry, but when applied it looked flat. This resulted in liner that looks dated, like a black turtleneck that's been through 20 years in the wash cycle.Flat coloring aside, it skipped quite a bit. But all this can be contributed to possibly poor storage. I mean what else could it be? Bad shipping? User error? It's essentially a pen!Anyways, unless you want to look like you've borrowed grandma's makeup bag, I recommend skipping this product.

The liner pencil does not work as well as liquid liner. The liner is dry and hard to get flowing to make a consistent line on the eye lid.

The first day I wore it, it was perfect. I really like the tip and it's very precise. But for some reason the second day I wore it, just a standard day at work at a computer, nothing strenuous or involving sweat, it was all over my upper eyelid. I hadn't bothered checking it in a mirror throughout the day, because it was great the day before, so I really have no way to know how long I was walking around with a black, smudged line on my lid.I might still use it for the wings of my eyeliner, since it really is far more precise than the brush I currently use, but I definitely won't be putting it on my lids.

This eyeliner was difficult to love. The pen-style applicator really never had a good amount of eyeliner ink to make a good mark. I found myself trying to apply and apply and apply layers to get the look I wanted. The tip was inflexible and did not help to make a good cat-eye. I frequently found myself creating such opposite looks on either side that I'd wipe away one side to favor the other side's look or just get so frustrated I would wipe away all progress. I'm very experienced with many eyeliners and found this one's main flaw to be the frustration it caused. After about a week, I stopped using this product altogether. It sits unused and lonely in my drawer. I would throw it away, but makeup is expensive and I fear I'll second guess my abilities and attempt the challenge again in the future.

It did not do anything for my lashes, it did not elongate my alshes or make it thicker. would not buy again, going abck to my mary kay.

it was nicely packaged and all but when I opened it to try the product. The substance was extremely dry, hardly got anything from it. It did not reach my expectations.

The product is NOT waterproof. Mine as well came pretty empty. It takes more applications than other mascaras to do the job. Will not buy again, would not recommend.

How in the world is this considered a great product blows my mind. I used it once and gave it away who someone who now only uses it on her bottom lashes. You literally see nothing after you apply this sorry excuse for a mascara. I should have no better buying a "Maybelline", but lesson learned and never again.

Horrible. Might be water proof, but it not smudge proof. Touch it and it smears all over. Must be oil based. Was very hard to wash off. Returned for refund.

I really wanted to like it. I like the precision line you can make with it. However if you tend to have watery eyes or allergies this might not be for you! I was at work and during recess I wiped the side of my eye (it was a windy day) and the line smeared all to the side. This is not waterproof. It won't stay like other products I have that I actually needed to use make up remover. I would not buy it again.

I bought this for my daughter. She went to school with it and came home looking like a panda. By the second use it was completely dried out. you have to push the tip down to get any colour at all and after all the effort its still a mild grey. As well as the tip is way to flexible and even she, an art wiz can not get it to look good without it looking like a crayola.

Absolutely awful product! The tip of the eyeliner was drying off straight out of the package .I thought the tip would be like a brush, well it wasn't, it was stiff and it felt like I was using a sharpie marker on my eyes...Had to press hard against my eyes to have it leave any product behind at all, which lead to thick lines and pretty much impossible to do things lines with!

The tip is dry and I have to constantly wet it just to get the black liner to apply. Also the tip is quite long and it makes it a bit harder to make a line and fill it in. Wouldn't recommend this product nor purchase it again.

very disappointed in this product! For one week it worked great - very fine lines and then the next week it dried up! It must be old product, would like to return but the return product section wont let me.
