In a moment of fitness inspiration I signed up for a yoga class. In an effort to get my equipment as cheaply as possible in case I finish this class and never do yoga again, I ordered this set of blocks. I chose this set because it came with 2 sizes of blocks and I had no idea what I needed or wanted. The blocks are nice, firm, and filled my needs. I'm happy with the blocks, undecided about yoga...

These work very well as studio monitor isolators. I got (2x) 4-inch-thick sets for a pair of JBL LSR305's to ensure stability, laying the blocks crosswise. The blocks would probably work fine with any 5" studio monitors, and even something as big as Yamaha HS7's.I re-EQ'd my bass as a result of using these blocks. EQ faders are now on the flat setting. No more mud.Considering that the isolator alternatives from the usual-suspect pro audio retailers would have set me back more than $100, at less than $30, including shipping, these yoga blocks were a no-brainer. I was afraid they might be too spongy, but I was wrong. These things are plenty dense for the purpose.

In March I was hospitalized due to various conditions. After being discharged from the hospital March 2016, I was admitted to Rehabilitition to learn how to walk again.Once discharged from Rehabilitition I was scheduled to see my new family physician in a week.My new physician is AMAZING AND HAS HELPED ME TO GET MY LIFE BACK AFTER ALMOST 4 YEARS OF BEING SICK.Following my docs appt with my doctor, I was scheduled to see a Rhuemologist because prior to being hospitalized I test positive for an autoimmune disorder (lupus/MS).ith me and discussed steps to take to fight both diagnosis, one was Yoga.While in the hospital I had ordered a yoga DVD for stress but didn't have any equipment. Later I was able to get my yoga mat.Now I am in the process of order the other equipment need to be success while benefiting/reaping all of the AMAZING BENEFITS from practicing yoga.When my first order came in the mail, I was so excited and PROUD TO SAY THAT I AM MORE EXCITED THAN I WAS PRIOR TO STARTING YOGA IN JUNE. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY "SET OF 2 YOGA BLOCKS" ORDERED FROM "FIT SPIRIT."Due to being on STD since Feb. 2016, I have had numerous lifestyle changes; one was a financial change.Due to several other medical conditions not listed previously: (panic attacks/anxiety, carpal tunnel, tendentious, migraine headaches, insomnia, irregular heartbeat at rest-averaging 135 beats per min. @rest, constipation, depression, etc.,) it was pertinent that I made another life style change; becoming active.I started doing yoga in June when my body would allow me to. Due to my diagnosis of CF and Fibromyalgia, it was very difficult to live an active life due to chronic pain and ongoing fatigue.Those who have been diagnosed with CF and Fibromyalgia, I highly recommend incorporating yoga into your daily schedule.I ALSO HIGHLY RECOMMEND ORDERING YOUR EQUIPMENT FROM "FIT SPIRIT." Great yoga block! I didn't find these to have any sort of strong odor to them when taking them out of the packaging. They are a nice bright blue color, as shown by the website. The rubber texture is grippy enough so that my blocks don't slip on the floor. I mostly use these for stretching for competitive figure skating and dance. While these do give slightly when all of you weight is on it, It doesn't give enough to be a problem.For reference: I ordered the 4 inch blue block, I am 115 lb., 5'6 foot tall woman.

Well bought this for a totally different purpose other than Yoga. After seeing a YouTube video review from Z Reviews that this would actually work as insulating foam for studio monitors, I thought what could I loose... a pair is only $8 while a set of other insulating foams actually made for speakers are $30 all the way up to $100 +.But yeah been using it for about a week now on my JBL LSR305 speakers and I must say I am loving the performance. The savings even better.If you are here after seeing the same review don't be afraid go for it and get yourself a set.

I ordered for my daughter as they are required for some of her dance technique classes. Price was great so I ordered two sets (blue & purple) so she can keep one in her dance bag and one at home. They arrived quickly and I was pleased with packaging as there were no scratches or indentions on the blocks. Nice variety of colors to choose from. Light weight. We are pleased.

I purchased similar blocks by brands Wacces and Flado in the past year. They are all perfectly according to specification at 3x6x9 and 4x6x9 inches. The Fitspirit blocks are not exactly correct in size and are slightly softer than the other brands. They were cheaper and work just fine, so I'm happy - but that is the reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars - because some purchasers may be disappointed.

Basic foam blocks, nothing special. Not really that durable, mine already have a few small depressions from use and some snags on the surface from my fingernails, cats, etc. But I'm only a casual practitioner of yoga, so they work fine for me and I was happy with the price.

Great product. When it arrives it has a sort of chemical smell to it. The smelll went away for me in about a day or two without leaving them outside to air or anything like that. Wish they were cheaper than $8dlls a pair but that's just me. I use a pair to elevate my speakers to ear level. The speakers do weight about 11lbs each and they have been sitting on top of these blocks for 5 days. So far the blocks haven't began to compress do to the weight of the speakers.

Nice and sturdy! Same quality as the gym when I do yoga! Great price!

Pros: Item was exactly as described. I received two 9x6x3 blocks in the color ordered. There was no foul smell as others have described.Cons: This block is just not firm enough for me. Totally a matter of preference, but if pinched on both sides (thumb and index finger) I can get the block from 3 inches to 2 inches. Off to look at cork blocks for extra firmness.

These blocks have a strong odor smell for a day or so, But the odor did go away in a few days. These block have been good to workout, exercise and stretch with. They seem to be well made, but this is my first set of Yoga Blocks and I have never used them before now. I would recommend these blocks, however if you have a chemical sensitivity then the odor may not work for you.

Pretty good for the cost. Like other reviewers stated, my blocks also arrived with some scratches even though the package itself wasn't damaged. The price matches the quality which is fair and the blocks will only be used by me at home when stretching and these should work just fine. They aren't so soft or scratched that they aren't useful.

These are ok. They came with scratches already in them, which is ok since it's going to happen pretty quickly anyway. The material is pretty sensitive to scratches, nicks with your fingernails, etc.

I choose to purchase blocks based on price, rather than quality. They are a great price. I just wish these were a bid more dense because the pressure of body weight on them make them a bit wabbblely.

I was a little disappointed when I received my blocks. On one side, I saw a small hole from an air pocket that looks like a manufacturer defect. It's not going to ruin my experience using the blocks, and I don't use them often enough to worry about the wear and tear. But I definitely would have noticed the hole if I had purchased this in a store and I would have put the blocks back on the shelf to find another set. Overall, they work, but I wonder about the quality of this seller's product.

It got to me very quick but the quality of blocks were not what I expected. They were not as thick as I would have wanted. when you use them for some poses your hands sink into them a little instead of providing a sturdy base. I still think they are functional for most yoga poses though.

Quality chemical smell!Okay, besides the smell their not bad. They accomplish what I needed them to, which was to help me in yin yoga poses and headstands. I didn't pay a lot, which I was happy about.

These are okay. Way too squishy for my liking. It also scratches very very easily. While they are a nice color and a good shape, I felt they aren't the right kinds for my practice. It is actually way too bothersome to me that they are so soft. I have not used them lately and am pondering about perhaps returning them.

When my blocks arrived I noticed a long Slash across one and a corner cut ,but the other block was unharmed I am really disappointed

The product arrived with cuts and blemises on the block. Lot of uneven edges and the slits were visible underneath the plastic seal...

These block don't work for me either. They are too light weight for some yoga poses. When I try to put a bolster sitting on them at a slant position, the blocks fall over, so not good for restorative yoga or for propping bolsters up. They are not sturdy. Do love the pick color and feel of them . Will have to buy two more so I will probably go with the cork ones next time.

I was disappointed because, although the box was fine, one of the blocks has a big gouge with a chunk almost out of the block. Not very zen for this slightly OCD girl lol.

Wrong size. These were listed as 9x6x3. The card that came in the package said they were 9x6x3. In actuality, they are a full 4 inches thick. This may be good news for some, but I needed them to be 3 inches thick. I think I'll try cutting them down..

Not sure if the fingerprints and smudges were due to the packaging or the handling of the product itself but on a light pink, the dark marks and smudges really showed up.

Items were damaged inside of the wrap they were sealed in and also had dirty finger prints on them - not from the packaging of the shipping box, but the actual product's sealed package. The side of one of the blocks is also bowed out, as if it was not cut properly, so you cannot stand or stack it on that side. Other than that, they match the color perfectly and are still useable.

Item arrived punctured all over and dirty, despite being sealed in plastic.

Received one 3 inch and one 4 inch instead of two 4 inch blocks. Pain in the butt to return!

These blocks are too light/not dense enough. When I use the blocks for yoga at the highest setting for the balance/scale pose (tolasana) it doesnt support my weight (135 lbs) and I can see & feel it budge.

This is not what I was expecting. The blocks are two completely different sizes. Useless to me for the poses in which I use blocks.
