Five Star Reviews: | 81% Works Perfectly! August 18, 2017 Five Stars! This is exactly what I needed and works perfectly. My car usually tells me when the tire pressure is low and I'll stop by the gas station to pump air, usually I'll pump blindly not knowing where I am on air or how much. I actually have to wind up pumping again at times. Never again with this it shows digitally how much pressure is in tires and it's easy to read at night or day. I like the fact how portable it is so now after reading the manual and using this I will know exactly how much pressure is in my car at all times. This is a lifesaver for us on the go Mommas! So much easier to read, especially at night! August 18, 2017 I really like my new tire gauge. It fits great in your hand and there is no more guessing with the old standard one I had that just popped out and gave the psi in a ruler type fashion. I do try 2 to 3 times with this one also, but that is just to be sure I'm getting the same number. So far, it seems very accurate. My favorite feature is probably the back lit display and the led around the opening. I have already had to use this at night and it makes it so much easier! super easy to use August 15, 2017 Couldn't wait to receive this digital tire pressure gauge. I bought it for my parents who go to Sandy Neck every weekend with their camper. One of the requirements is having this on board. The air must be let out while traveling on the beach and then reinflated when they leave. I like how it has the automatic shut off because it's a lot of work getting on the beach and I wouldn't want them to forget too. The gauge measures four pressure scales which is good, the batteries are included and on the back of the package they also give you a 40% off coupon if you need a second one. Easy to use Definitely nice to have in the car August 14, 2017 I realized that I didn't have a tire pressure gauge in my car so I got this one so that I had a clear reading of the tire pressure. My other tire pressure gauge would shoot out a stick and I'd have to do it a couple times to make sure it was really the correct reading. This gauge is digital so there's no second guessing the reading which is convenient. Definitely nice to have in the car. Buying another one August 12, 2017 I bought this for myself, but my husband took off with it while I was opening another package. He came back about 30 minutes later to let me know that one of my tires was low and that when he went to fill it, the thingy at the gas station measured the same exact pressure as this gauge. At that point, he suggested that I should get one, too. Uh, I just did!So, off to order another. :) Best gauge I've ever used for my dirt bike and everything else. May 3, 2017 I use this for my dirt bike mostly. I'm running the tubliss system with 7lbs in the front tire and 4.5lbs in the back. This gives great consistent readings. It creates a nice tight seal on the valve which helps at these low pressures because you can lose 1/2lbs quick.It's easy to read and is made out of metal and rubber. It fits in the palm of your hand and doesn't take up much room in a camelpack.It seems like it should last a long time based on its constructions. | 68% Great Tire Gauge June 26, 2017 Press button, place on tire, and boom there's your number. Since none are to be found, my guess is, one is at my sons house, one is at my daughters house and one is in the trunk of my wife's car. This one is going in my locked tool box!This neat little digital tire pressure gauge from TRAVEL SAFER, reads up to 100 p.s.i. and that is way beyond any tires that I will need to gauge. Please take a second and click the yes button, if this review was helpful A Usefull and Inexpesive Digital Tire Pressure Gauge December 7, 2015 I purchased this digital tire pressure gauge along with the traditional pencil style gauge. Both registered the same pressure so I am assuming that the digital gauge is accurate. You only have to select the unit of measure, e.g, psi, the first time you use it. The lit display and led at the tip is very handy in the dark. To operate press the switch, press against the tire valve and remove. The reading will show the pressure for about 10 seconds, reset to zero for another 10 seconds and then turn itself off. Otherwise, pressing and holding the switch for three seconds will shut it off. Comes ready to use for immediate use! May 15, 2015 This little Digital Tire Gauge by Travelsafer is a great tool to have with you at all times while traveling or to have for everyday use! The item arrived quickly and undamaged. It came ready to use with batteries already installed which I thought was a fantastic feature! I love the LED lights on it, makes it really easy to be able to find the tire valve in poorly lit garages and easy to read the digital monitor. It is a great size to be able to keep in your car as it does not take up much space. This is really easy to use, just attach to your tire valve and wait until the numbers stop. Four Star Reviews: | 10% Works! Read my review. March 14, 2017 This small metal tire pressure checker is spot on and is very reliable and durable. Just buy it! Seems solid, within a few PSI of TPMS November 12, 2016 I needed a tire gauge I could trust for use on our RV tires (110 PSI). I don't have anything calibrated to compare this to, but it's within a couple of PSI of the TPMS (tire pressure management system) on the RV. My only complaint is the lack of a bleed function. If I overshoot by a couple of PSI, I have to use a different tool to bleed off a few pounds. My other, lower pressure tire gauge has a bleed function that is very convenient. Great Tool for the Garage August 23, 2016 This is a great handy little tool to keep in the garage. I use it on my motorcycle every day before I take it out. It has several different modes that you cycle through by clicking the button. The display is easy to read even in the dark. The only reason for the 4 stars is that it's a little bigger than I expected especially compared to other digital gauges I've used, but the construction is solid and feels good in your hand due to the metal body. Overall, great little tool Well built and accurate but... August 10, 2016 What a great little digital tire gauge. I needed a gauge that is accurate below 10psi and above 100psi. This little gauge is perfect and very accurate! It even has a light so you can check pressures in the dark. I ordered another one to carry in my motor coach! Would have given it five stars but haven't figured out how to get the battery out. Hopefully it will last for years. Accurate readable display July 24, 2016 Works good, accurate and handy. Does what it is supposed to do. Display is easy to read. simple to use. Dropped one star because you have to push on and hold seal for second or 2 for accurate reading. When measuring higher pressure tires not always easy to do so I find I check pressure twice to get 2 readings the same. It works well otherwise. Go aheat and order one - Great product. March 2, 2017 Nice easy to hold and operate. Light is great for night use. Accurate. Easy to use. Seems accurate. Just small quirks. April 30, 2016 Much easier to use than other gauges. Seems accurate, but differs about 1 psi or so to other gauges I own. Not sure which one is off. My small complaints are related to the useability of it. First, the button to change units (PSI, etc.) is right where I want to put my finger. I'm constantly changing the units by mistake. Second, there's no knob or piece that I can use to let air out of the tires if I overfill the tires. Lastly, the unit automatically turn off a little too soon. Sometime I can't get to the next tire and remove the valve cap before the gauge shuts off. Ultimately, it's about accurately reporting the pressure which it does a good job doing. Easy to check pressure without air escaping because I have it positioned wrong. A VERY NICE ADDITION TO OUR CAR ACCESSORIES March 3, 2016 Have not yet had a chance to use it much...only twice...but it worked well and gave us accurate readings. You have to read the instructions and then get to know which 'mode' you want to be in, so it takes some getting used to, but it seems to work well and as accurately as we had hoped. Always checking tire pressure January 26, 2016 This gauge is used on a huge range of tires (Mower, small car, large truck, air bags, trailers, and skid loader). I have double checked with my old school gauge and they are always within a few lbs. of air. There are a few areas that are made more difficult because of the short and fat nozzle area. It would be better if it was sleeker and longer, but for your average user it will be fine. I like the light in the display at at the tip January 14, 2016 Works very well, I like the light in the display at at the tip. The delay before it clears the measurement is a bit long if one wants to retest or go to the next wheel . The multi scales of pressure measurement is a nice feature if one is overseas but not much use in the US. |

Three Star Reviews: | 3% Because I like to know March 6, 2017 Several points. A little awkward for a left-handed (sinister) user. Perhaps not surprising since left-handedness is almost non existent inChina. No instructions, or even hints, on the packaging (it doesn't take long to figure out how to use it). Comes with batteries installed, but has nothing to say about battery replacement. Because I like to know, I opened case and saw five button-type batteries (thicker than the ones to which I am accustomed). Instructions are available on the web site; nothing specific about batteries. Okay but not great August 13, 2016 Does not fit well making it necessary to keep trying until you get a reading. Repetitive readings agree. Wish it wasn't so sensitive May 31, 2016 Nice and heavy - nice quality but very sensitive. Need to be spot on which can be difficult. | 5% Would not recommend. I hope that it has some long-term durability before it finally fails - but only time will tell in that regard.Also, if you want to find out exactly what type of batteries it uses, so you can stock spares, you will have to open it up. It might be wise to go ahead and change out the batteries ASAP with quality name-brand ones, since cheap generic Chinese batteries are known to spontaneously catch fire or explode.UPDATE 4/12/2017: Still working fine (hasn't exploded or anything yet). I use it every few months to keep my air at 32-33psi. |

Two Star Reviews: | 1% the gasket doesn't allow for a good seal between gauge and tire valve stem August 27, 2017 Very difficult to take a pressure reading, the gasket doesn't allow for a good seal between gauge and tire valve stem. When you get a good seal the pressures are accurate. They only need to fix the gasket and it would work fine. Tire Pressure Gauge Digital w/ Metal Body 150PSI -- 3 different reading on the same tire... August 18, 2016 MEH. I gave it 2 stars because it gives 3 different reading on the same tire. So which tire pressure reading is correct? I measured the tire cold & it gave me 35.6PSI, 34.9PSI, & 36.3PSI. I followed what other reviewers suggested to keep it pressed firmly for 3 seconds, but still getting different readings anyway.Pros:- It's a metal body so definitely more study/durable than those that are plastic.- Illuminated display, easy to see.- Auto reset/ auto shut off.- Came with batteries installed.- Get a good seal on the tire bulb right away.Cons:- The most important function is the CON - It gives 3 different reading on the same tire, so accuracy is questionable.Maybe the one that was sent to me is defective? May 3, 2016 It works o.k., but the reading seem a bit off. For example my tire pressure is 33 psi but it shows 29 psi. I took my bike to the shop, and they confirmed that the tire was at 33 psi, so the travelsafer is a bit off, but I still use it, I just add 3 points to whatever it says. Doesn't check bicycle tire pressure. Box doesn't contain any bicycle tire pressure adapter. Don't buy unless you are using this for your car. Product is fine (I guess) August 16, 2016 Bought this to check pressure in my bicycles. Product is fine (I guess)......it won't fit over the valve so that I can get a pressure. I've had two similar checkers and thought valve size would be pretty standard....evidently not. So, great looking product......just can't use it! Needs some design work. February 17, 2016 Not for left handers, and difficult to mate up to the Schrader valve on the tire. Seems to be accurate, but a pain to use. Way off. February 7, 2016 Way off, about 4 psi off. that's a lot in my book. I got so upset I wasted money I tossed it before even thinking I could try and get the money back. Big disappointment. March 14, 2016 Died on the 4th tire reading - literally 4th tire. Had it since February (just long enough not to be returnable) and 1st time used. Big disappointment. Poor Product Reliability! November 30, 2015 Calibration is off after just 6 weeks of use. Readings are no longer accurate. Wish I had the option to return it. |
