Very easy to use and read to keep your tire pressure at exactly where you want it.
September 16, 2017
I love this. I'm trying to be very pro-active about keeping my tires at the correct inflation, as I understand it's imperative on my Chevy Volt to avoid a sidewall blowout. The sign on the door says the correct tire pressure, cold, is 38 lb., and yet the place I bought my tires inflated them to 35 lb, even with a note on the order telling them the correct pressure. At gas stations, their hoses that measure the tire pressure are horribly inaccurate. So I use this to get exactly 38 lb in each tire. Coming home from Lake Tahoe (about 6300' elevation) yesterday, I stopped and added air to bring them up to 38, and by the time I got to about 3500 ft, the pressure had dropped ot 34 lb. That was a revelation. This is very easy to use and read.
Terrific value for an exceptional product!

As soon as I received my TireTek Flexi-Pro tire pressure gauge, I used it to check the pressure on my motorcycle tires, as I had just topped them off with air using a stick pressure gauge. I found that using the new gauge, the pressure in both tires was around two psi over what registered on the stick gauge. Overfilling motorcycle tires can be dangerous, as the rubber is designed to grip the road at the proper pressure. I am very pleased that I now have an accurate gauge and can have confidence that my motorcycle tires are at optimal pressure to assure safety. As far as the gauge itself is concerned, I like the convenience of the right angle on the chuck. The location of the stems on the motorcycle tires make it nearly impossible to use the stick pressure gauge. The TireTek gauge makes it so easy to do. I also like the fact that the bleed button is so useful. It allows me to slightly overfill the tires and bleed the air back to the proper pressure. I feel that is more accurate than sneaking up on the pressure. Overall, the quality of the TireTek gauge is exceptional and I could not be happier with my choice.
I love my new Tire Tex Flexi-Pro Tire Pressure Gauge
May 22, 2017
I love my new Tire Tex Flexi-Pro Tire Pressure Gauge ! When I went looking for an air gauge the other day I found about 8 to 10 that either weren't working or every one that was working had a different reading than the other one. Now I have an accurate one that I can let some air out and continually read instead of having to disconnect and reconnect. Easy to read and hold on to and with the 90 degree accessory tip I'll be able to fill my cycle tires with no problems.
really good, accurate, very high quality gauge
March 1, 2017
I got so sick of stick style air gauges being all over the place. It seemed like I would never get the same reading twice. This gauge is awesome. It consistent shows the accurate reading time after time. I love that the pressure holds until you press the bleed off button. The bleed off button is also quite handy at reducing pressure very slowly so you can get quite accurate pressures. I wish I would have bought this years ago. All of the awesome reviews aren't for nothing. This gauge is really nice and a great investment in your vehicle and tire's longevity. I am quite sure it will pay for itself.
The best tire pressure gauge
July 29, 2016
There seemed to be a myriad of pressure gauges similar to the Tire Tek Flexi-Pro available on Amazon but after reading many reviews on the ones I'd narrowed my choices to, the Tire Tek Flexi-Pro with interchangeable chuck became the clear winner for a couple of reasons. First was the number of satisfied users. That has to be factored in. Second was the Tire Tek had a nice white dial with black lettering that has to be the easiest to see dial in low light conditions. If I have a flashlight to get some "glow-in-the-dark" dial to glow I'll just use it to see not only the dial but the chuck and valve stem as well so that feature didn't sway me with the competition. Thirdly, the version of Tire Tek I purchased came with both a straight chuck and a 90 degree chuck. In actual use this tire gauge has really performed. I ride a motorcycle and it's critical I maintain the correct tire pressure in both tires whenever I ride. Valve stems on motorcycle wheels are often difficult to get to due to placement or getting around disc brakes, chains, swing arms, etc.. The 90 degree chuck is easy to line up with the valve stems, and easier I think than the 45 degree chucks often found on other tire gauges. I think it's because I can line up the short straight section with the valve stem that allows me to get it onto the stem without bleeding off a couple of pounds of air. The bleed off valve is extremely smooth in operation allowing me to slightly overfill a tire, then carefully bleed off air until exactly the amount of air I desire is left. I've had some tire gauges where the bleeder acts sticky and cannot be slightly depressed to slow the loss of air gradually. This Tire Tek gauge bleeder valve works smooth. Of course none of the above features and comments are worth a hoot if the thing isn't accurate. It is accurate and repeatable. I think I've found a winner with the Tire Tek Flexi-Pro.
good for hard to reach tire vales on Harleys
July 24, 2016
This makes it much easier to check tire pressure using the 90 degree chuck on my touring Harley with 16 inch wheels and disk brakes. It is almost impossible with a 45 degree chuck. One thing it needs is a stud to bleed off excess air. No it doesn't need this! I just figured out you can slowly bleed off air with the button valve just below the gauge. So if you have too much air just tap the button valve until the pressure is right. The air stays in the gauge until the button valve is pressed to release it so you can take it off the tire valve to see it better.

If you're looking for the best pressure gauge out there, you've found it so stop looking!
March 9, 2017
I don't typically take the time to leave reviews for products, especially for something like a tire gauge, but this is a really high quality tire gauge and it deserves a review. The product is exactly as described. The scale is easy to read, the pressure holds for accurate reading until release the pressure, and my reading seem to be consistently repeatable time after time. The stem is long enough to easily fit on any tire stem valve and to make it easier to read the stem also rotates. This unit also has a small metal nipple on the back of the head that allow you to release pressure from the tire if needed. I purchased two of these and the next time I need another tire pressure gauge I'll be purchase this one. It's nice enough to be a great car guy/girl gift.
The Last Tire Gauge You Will Buy
February 22, 2017
I bought 4 of these for a friend, my children, and myself. I bought them because they were top-rated and reasonably priced. One of my best purchases to date from Amazon. The tip swivels, so you can easily access the valve stem regardless of position. The tool holds the pressure reading so you can remove it from the tire to read the dial. The seal in the tip is constructed to allow fuss-free alignment for quick reading. The dial face and needle allow quick reading even in dim light. The rubber surround protects the gauge but also gives you excellent grip for positioning in rain or with gloves on.I've probably owned 10 or 15 tire gauges through the years. This is the best of them - by far.Highly recommended
Enhance Safety/Performance with this Excellent Tool!
February 27, 2016
This has a very readable face for quick acquisition of air pressure levels and a convenient bleed air button for removing excess of the same. The rotating tip makes this even more user friendly as it accommodates the awkward geometry that tire valve stems are often found in. The rubber shock absorber allows for placement in the center of the palm of the hand for full control and placement of the gauge onto the valve stem of the tire while also isolating the internal mechanism from damaging bumps. Not a lot of money for a tool that will promote the longevity and safe operation of your vehicle's only safety device between it and the roadway------the tires!
Excellent guage, great customer service....quick!
February 21, 2016
Superior product, bought one for myself and I like it so much I bought one for my son. It reads quite accurate, easily attaches to valve, and the mid range is centered right around your passenger cars normal readings. Recommended!Update : Now this "lifetime" guage will not hold the reading anymore and leaksdown. I have contacted the seller and will update . This guage has been used lightly, it shouldn't be having this problem.Follow up : Owner contacted. me very quick and made things right. I own one and gave another to my son, he loves it. This guage has always read accurate from day one, the only problem was one of them not holding readings, which was quickly fixed by the owner. Such service is becoming very rare nowadays. Buy with confidence from a company that backs its products.Update 9/17/17 my son dropped his and from then on it would still read accurate, just not hold the reading. I solved this by taking the end off and resetting the spring straight... It was cocked sideways from the drop. Now it is back also holding the reading again :). Easy fix, great gauge!
A Top notch gauge!
April 22, 2015
Right off the bat, this gauge is everything I thought it would be. I won't go crazy here, it's only a tire gauge. But, it's a HIGH QUALITY one. I wanted one that didn't have a high pressure scale like, oh, around 100-150 psi. because this gauge is going to be dedicated for use on my Honda GL1800 Goldwing which, has tire pressures in the 36-40 range. So, I wanted a gauge that would indicate my pressures, in the middle of the sweep. And, this one fits that bill, perfectly. It arrived on time, in fact, a bit earlier than the scheduled arrival date.
It's got a good feel to it, and, the head swivels, just like advertised. That makes for great ergonomics when in trying assess pressures on hard to get to spots. The release valve holds the pressures for you to read then, a slight press, (very slight) released it. The gauge fits in a side pocket on the bike so it's always handy. For the price, there's no way you can go wrong here. I'd recommend it in a heart beat.

TEK FLEX PRO TIRE GAUGE.
April 22, 2017

Good gauge at good price.
April 1, 2017
Good gauge, good price. I bought it as a backup to my digital (battery powered) gauge. I found that my digital gauge was more accurate that I thought ( I thought it read low). This gauge reads 0.5 psi lower than my digital at 30 psi. That makes my compressor gauge high (or these two low) 😱.Anyway happy with the purchase so far.
A very nice design and quite easy to use
December 10, 2016
A very nice design and quite easy to use. Checked it against 3 other pressure gages and it was spot on. Excellent for the price and readability. I will keep this in my car, because it only goes up to 60psi. My bike needs 85psig so I will buy the higher range version,
Excellent tool, just doesn't quite meet my [motorcycling] needs - Terrific firm and Customer relations
August 2, 2016
First, let me say that Frank Jackson and OdyseaCo have unparalleled customer relations/communication, in my experience. I heard from Mr Jackson before the unit shipped!I received exactly when it was scheduled, and the unit itself was in fine shape. My only comment about shipping was that one corner of the display box was partially crushed -- NO EFFECT on the unit, but a little concerning until packaging was opened. The unit itself, in reality, probably deserves 5 stars, except that for my motorcycle it still does not provide an [easier] means to access the valve stem, due to encroachment by the humongous brake discs. For that reason, for inclusion in my tool kit, I order the 90 degree/swapable for 180 degree chuck variant. [I also ordered the Tire Tek guaged inflator unit to use with my 15 gal compressor and portable air tank.]This 45-degree head unit will now be permanently installed in my car's glove compartment, where it will serve any needs admirably.
The face is very legible and easy to grip
December 31, 2015
Easier to use than digital gauges and doesn't require batteries, Much, much easier to use -- and more accurate -- than pencil gauges. The face is very legible and easy to grip. The swivel chuck makes placement comfortable and secure no matter where the tire stem is or what hand you use. Great feature. Really like the air release button and the fact that the gauge will hold the last reading until you check another tire or purposely release the air. I withhold a fifth star only because I haven't had it long enough to assess its durability, but it feels substantial. Well worth keeping in your glove compartment and more than worth the price if it holds up.
Fantastic for the price, but only good overall
September 15, 2015
I bought this gauge when I needed a quick and cheap replacement for a liquid-filled gauge that I lost. I used this gauge to track pressures on my race motorcycle, and a difference of even 1 psi is noticeable. Tested against the calibration tools used by the tire techs at the track, this gauge was within 1 psi for the range I care about (20-35psi), so for that it earns high marks. My minor complaints would be that the swivel for the head wasn't very easy to turn, and that the gauge "saves" your last tire pressure measurement. Unless you reset the gauge by pressing the relief valve, your next reading will be very inaccurate. This was kind of a hassle for me during a race day, where I need to quickly check pressures on 4 tires on two bikes, all of which need to be set differently. For the casual user, this would be a great gauge. But it you need something truly high performance, spend the extra money.

Ok piece, but accuracy is up to you to decide
August 10, 2017
I have this one and the same gauge with the 12" hose. The 12" hose requires use of two hands, this one doesn't. At 75, kneeling down to test tire pressure is a genuine pain one wants to get over with soon. The short doodad on this one fits the old "mags" on by 73 MGB nicely and I can get a reading with only one hand...while the other hand keeps me from falling over.<G>BUT I find an almost 10% difference in the reading between this gauge and the one with the hose. Consistently.. At a wanted 30 psi, I get 30 or 33, depending on the gauge. Don;t recall which, but I think the hose one is the higher value.I'm giving this a 4 because It is pretty easy to use, deducting 1 because I have no idea what the real pressure really is.But several other gauges I have are even wilder in their guesses...28-35. On the same tires right after filling. So...?Nobody I asked had ever heard of a calibrated air pressure for testing gauges. I won't go near a new car service department because I wouldn't trust them with a broken brick!I'm going to post this same thing (at 3 stars) for the one with the hose.
easy & accurate - but bleeding excess air a bit clumsy
June 16, 2017
It is easy and accurate. At first, I couldn't figure out how to bleed excess air from the tire but a company support rep answered that - just use normally but hold the pressure release.[edit] I dropped it to 4 stars because the method of bleeding excess air is kind of clumsy. For me it was a 2-handed process because of the positioning of the pressure release. Maybe it's my slightly arthritic fingers. If you are fiddling with a tire at night, you might run out of hands, what with holding a flashlight. So a nub, like on other tire gauges, would be better.
I do like the tire pressure gauge and I recommend it too
October 22, 2016
I do like the tire pressure gauge and I recommend it too. It captures the tire pressure and holds it so you can take the pressure and remove the gauge from the wheel to review the pressure reading. Once you are done with the reading you can clear the valve with a small button... Hopefully the needle in the gauge never looses it's precision when the chamber is abruptly evacuated... perhaps a slow bleed system would maintain a more precise measurement over the log term. Also, the face of the meter is a little large and may be difficult to fit in the wheel on some bikes or would help with weight conscious adventure touring folks!Ultimately, the two qualms stated above are ergonomics and can be minor design changes - the functionality and quality of this gauge are top notch but gauge could use some refinement.
Well Made - Easy to Read Dial - Update
June 4, 2016
Great product - I tried the digital gauges and struggled to read the display. This is good design with senior citizens in mind.Update September 14, 2016 - after a few months the gauge dial did not return to the zero pressure position, went to vendors web site a submitted a question/concern. They responded and promptly resolved thee problem.
TireTek: "Old School" works for me
August 14, 2015
I had ordered both the TireTek Pressure Gauge and the Michelin digital tire gauge, and decided to keep the TireTek. I liked the construction of it which I thoughtwould stand up better to the inevitable drop onto the garage floor, the swivel headwhich helps with fitting it on my motorcycle as well as cars, and the factthat there are no batteries to replace. I had actually bought the Michelingauge previously through another online source since it was given their "BEST"rating. However, after using it four times in three days, it stopped workingand I wasn't interested in buying 2 lithium batteries right off the bat tokeep it going. I didn't even open the new digital gauge package aftertrying out the TireTek first. I said, "I could live with this." Thanks also to TireTek fortaking the time to contact your customers and get their feedback. I hopeI'll have many years of good experiences with it.

July 16, 2015
Received the gauge in a timely matter and was impressed with it's easy to read dial and well made construction. The rubber cover is a plus that offers protection against accidental drops. I also have a digital gauge and compared the two readings. The TireTek gauge was lower by .5 to one PSI compared to the digital. Based on the construction of both gauges I feel the TireTek gauge to be more accurate and will use that one exclusively. The only minor con to the gauge is if you overfill the pressure and need to reduce, pressing the bleeder button releases the air rather slowly. However, that can be a good thing since if too much air is released quickly you may find yourself having to use a compressor and add more.I was impressed with Frank Jackson, the owner of the company. He sent an email inquiring if I was satisfied with the gauge and if not to contact him. What company does that, very few for sure. I like the product and highly recommend it to those in search of a quality tire gauge.

March 20, 2017
I purchased this to check tire pressure on a mtorcycle with spoked wheels. The head of this device is large which makes it difficult to get it on the valve because there is not a lot of room between the spokes. So I am going to use it on my car instead. I tested it against another dial pressure gauge and it appears to give accurate pressure readings.

Seems to work well once stem assembled in correct order
October 29, 2017
It would be 5 stars but arrived disassembled in the box. 4 loose small parts with no instructions included. Took about an hour of fiddling with the gauge and finally had to look up a video on the internet to discover the order in which to put the stem assembly back together. The video was on the seller's web site (I had to track it down myself) and described how to take that part of the gauge apart for cleaning if it gets dirty. Once assembled correctly the gauge worked as described..

June 7, 2017
Not super-confident it's reading correctly since my tires are reading the correct pressure on the gauge, but my TPMS is telling me the pressure is off on at least one of my tires. Getting new tires this week so will have a definitive answer soon. If you put a gun to my head I'd guess something was wrong with either the tire nozzle or the TPMS before the TireTek gauge. However, not having confidence in your tires is not a good feeling, and the doubt about the gauge is still there, thus my rating.

Didn't come with protective case. What's the deal?Bought the protective case + tire pressure gauge + tire tread gauge and no protective case. Just a plastic bag. 3 stars...Also, would prefer one with a hose. This one can be a bit of a nag to get the right angle. Fortunately, it does keep the highest pressure reading after you've got it off the tire. (And until you press the button)

January 18, 2016
I chose this product because I don't trust digital gauges and the old-school pen gauges vary wildly in accuracyWith the exception of a rather flimsy plastic window, the build quality is solid. I can personally atest to the rubber cover's ability to protect the device after I dropped it immediately after opening the box. The valve stem can be removed and replaced with a longer stem if you need to. I can't confirm the ANSI B40.1 Grade B accuracy rating so I'll just have to take their word for it.My one gripe would be with the pressure relief button. The button can be wiggled around because it isn't secured very well to one axis. This wiggle room is enough to release the pressure by accident. It isn't a huge deal to just check the pressure again, but I imagine it could be frustrating especially with thick gloves on. I would like to see a button that requires a more deliberate press for release.

Not At All Accurate
May 30, 2016
Checked the accuracy of this product against two other DIGITAL pressure gauges that I know are spot on accurate. Results were disappointing. At 24 lbs of pressure, as indicated on the dial, the actual pressure was 33 lbs when measured by gauges of known accuracy. That's a 9 lb. difference in pressure, which can be an enormous difference in terms of obtaining proper or safe tire use. I did not check the gauge at higher pressures, but would expect that the margin of error would increase exponentially as pressures rise. I may have just gotten a defective product, but would not buy it again if accuracy product quality was important.

June 10, 2016
This gauge is very accurate and well constructed, but the process of getting a good seal on the tire valve to get a pressure reading will frustrate you. You spend too much time adjusting the angle to get a pressure reading, and meanwhile you are releasing pressure trying to properly seat the gauge--so much so that I went back to using my old gauge. Recommend going with the "Joes Racing" gauge. You get a perfect seat on the valve first time every time, and its made in USA.

I bought 2 tire gauges, including this one. Unfortunately, this Tire Tek was almost 3 pounds off (lower) than the other gauge I bought. The other gauge was much easier to use and was verified accurate. Also, the head on this Tire Tec does not pivot at all, so it it is not as convenient to get it oriented and depressed to get a good reading. In addition, the air release button is a cheap spring-loaded button that was just not smooth operating. It will be returned. Look elsewhere.

Both seem to be quite high quality units, time will tell. Not accurate. Not recommended.
November 11, 2017
Not accurate. Not recommended. Purchased this tire pressure gauge in May 2017. It looks to be well made. Yesterday, I had the technicians at one of the local Toyota dealers check it and compare it to their gauges. I had had my tires filled with nitrogen earlier in the week. When I checked the pressure in my tires the next morning using my new Tire Tek gauge, they measured 4 psi lower than the specification. I assumed that the technician had not inflated them properly. I called the dealer and made an appointment to get the tire pressure corrected and check my gauge against their gauges. A technician compared my gauge to 5 different gauges owned by different technicians, plus the gauge on their nitrogen fill system. My Tire Tek gauge showed a lower reading than (10% or more) of the gauges that it was compared to. It showed 3 psi lower for 4 out of 5 of the technician's gauges and 2.5 psi lower on the 5th gauge. All the technicians use the same brand of commercial quality gauge. The Tire Tek gauge is repeatable. The tests at the dealer show that it is not accurate. Too bad. This gauge is still under warranty but the packaging has been discarded long ago. Don't know if it is worth the effort to make a claim.

I received my gage in early December 20216. I went to use it for the first time last week and got no reading. My local tire shop checked my tires and filled them properly. Still no reading. DOA as many others have found. And I can't find out how to contact Tire Tek via Amazon. Grrr.
NOT dependable!!!

This LOOKS great. This LOOKS well-made (as much as you can expect for a tire gauge) Unfortunately, on a very cold night (and a week after return expired). I noticed a low pressure light on the dash. This is on a new car and didn't know how reliable the gauges were and want to fill it properly at a pump with a broken gauge. Put this on to get an initial reading and BOOM, fell apart in my hands! 4 loose pieces with no obvious way of putting it back together and screwing it tight (if that was even possible) I paid more for a pressure gauge for just the type of need. And it royally failed at that. "Premium" indeed. I'd hate to see their "cheap" one. Roll the dice and buy one, but there's a good chance you won't pass go.
Looks pretty but not worth a darn

Bought the first of these gauges and the pressure was off by 5 lbs relative to the two or three stick gauges I have. So I bought two more to see if I had a dud. Of the thee gauges, they were off by a couple lbs from each other. The inaccuracy of these gauges given the price is sort of hard to believe. Obviously I would not buy this product again. Looks pretty but not worth a darn!
