Easy to use and provides and accurate reading. What else do you want?
July 25, 2017
Super easy to use, and provides an accurate reading.
The Accutire pressure gauge is made of a fairly cheap plastic- but it's not really meant to be beaten up anyways.
Still, it is small, lightweight, and fits into the tires of all my vehicles easily. In a couple of seconds, it provides and accurate reading that I have compared to numerous air pumps and gauges that I have at home. The digital screen is easy to read and I have have no problems using it in harsh sunlight yet.
Most definitely recommend.
stable sensor
May 26, 2017
this is the third one of these ive bought. first one went through the washing machine and died. the one i got recently vs the vs the 2nd one i got a few years ago read identically after zeroing out both. now i have no idea how accurate that is vs a reference but it does tell me that the sensor remains stable despite aging. so at the worst you could find the offset vs a reference meter and know that the offset will remain stable over the years.
Excellent purchase

Very easy to operate tire guage. More accurate and provides a much better seal than model MS-4350B. The contact point on this model is a brass screw, but on the Accutire set point model there is a plastic nipple which does not make a good seal. Also, the seating of the tire valve is much, much deeper on this model than the 4350B. Less movement and better seal. One note: The display on my guage is gold over black not red over black.
Reliable tire pressure gauge.
November 27, 2016
I have an old the same brand, look, size tire pressure gauge, the only different was this new one comes in a display holder with transparent throw away packaging and the battery can be replaced - L44. The older one have a very nice hard case casing and no replaceable parts including the battery. The battery comes with lifetime warranty. Need to send it back for replacement. I have it for maybe more than ten years and still works.

That's the reason why I bought the same one for the other car.
Great little gauge and very accurate

Had the Accutire MS-4021B checked at our calibration lab on a NIST certified master gauge +-.02 Psi that's pretty good

Plastic But Works Great!
May 17, 2016
Great little tire gauge. Comes with batteries and is ready to go right out of the package. It feels kind of plasticky, like if it dropped from a high enough distance it would definitely crack or shatter, but it does what it says it does! The back-lit display is really useful, and there is a ring that lights up where you insert the tire stem, which was SUPER helpful when trying to find the stem in pitch black conditions. Also, it will output the pressure in BAR measurement as well as PSI. Apart from the cheap plastic feel, this is great to keep in your car or garage. I have to buy two more. One for the garage and one for the fiance's car.
didnt need, but glad i bought. wouldnt change a thing

i havent had mine long or used it a lot but i cant think how anyone could say anything bad about it.its easy to use, i love the lights, seems accurate and reliable.i only have 1 other tire gauge and it came with a $75 tire deflater kit so i assume its better than your average tire gauge and this digital gauge reads the exact same as the other gauge i have. much faster, and easier might i addyou might not think much of the lights, but i went to go to work and had a flat and needed to air up my tire before i left. i work nights and so the lights on the gauge were a lifesaver. i was in a hurry and didnt have time to find a flashlight or pull out my phone and use the flashlight(plus that requires another hand)
I'd recommend the TEKTON 5941 to you!!
June 16, 2015
This Tekton 5941 Digital Tire Gauge is a good, sleek, handy tool. I keep mine in the center console because it's easy to grab and doesn't take much space. It has a lighted led dial which comes in handy especially in low-light levels. The way it fits my hand is comfortable and it's easy to use. Best to pay attention because there are three (3) scale levels with PSI being one of them. I always make sure I am in this mode whenever I check my tire pressure. I prefer this kind over the shiny chrome looking pencil type because the led lighting is easier for me to read verses trying to read the tiny notches on the other one. It also fits much better in my hand making it easy to grip as compared to the "old-style" just mentioned. Last but not least, the price is fair!!
Excellent!

Pro's:i. LED illuminates tyre area and reading.ii. Readings are given in PSI: 0-100, Bar: 0-7, KPA: 0-700, Kgf/cm2: 0-7iii. Readings are displayed for about 10 seconds for reference. The reading re-calibrates as soon as the device is applied to the next tyre, so no lag time between readings.iv. The unit has an auto-off function after a couple of minutes, saving battery life.v. The measurement type, e.g. PSI in my case, stays set even after auto-off, so it doesn't need re-setting when powering up for the next job.vi. Excellent price and battery life.vii. Very accurate readings, as far as my own tests have concluded, and more accurate than a gas station air-line.viii. Very ergonomic, so easy to hold, easy to apply to the tyre, compared with some others I've had.ix. From what I've read here, very responsive and helpful customer service if there is ever a problem.Con's:i. Can not be used as a teleportation device or communicator.
Great gauge, very accurate.

I'm one of those that check tire pressure once a week so having a good tire gauge is imperative. For the past year I have used several different digital and mechanical gauges. I had issues with all of them. Few of the mechanical one's did not work well in extreme cold weather, also hard to use with gloves on and too cold to use with bare hands. Few others had issues with sealing the valve so it would not read accurately. Some of the other digital brands did not seal the valve, or the battery would die quickly (like every week), or it was reading inaccurately. I've been researching for the past few weeks on Amazon and this was the only one with great praise so i decided to try it out. As soon as i got it i ran out and compared it to a mechanical one which I have been using with frustration and also a friend of mines gauge (Commercial grade digital gauge) and low and behold this one read accurately to 35 lbs, w/o issues and the mechanical one I had took me about a minute to get a correct seal to get a reading and then it read 3lbs too high, 5 lbs too low, etc. Compared to the commercial grade gauge. This gauge is simple to read, easy to get a seal w/o much pressure to the valve and comfortable to hold glove or not. So clean out your gauge drawer like i did and replace it with this one.
Best I've used so far
March 1, 2012
This is my 3rd digital tire gauge. I like it better than the others, which were the Accutire brand, because:- Non-slip texture makes it easy to hold onto- LED light makes it really easy to use in the dark- Easily forms a seal with the valve stem to get an accurate read on the first try (this was my main gripe with other gauges I've used)- Awesome price!I'm not sure what else one would need from a tire gauge, so this one gets an A+.**UPDATE** As of 6/18/2013, this thing is still working perfectly, even though I've dropped it a dozen times. Also still using the original battery. Others I've used seem to drain the battery, regardless of how often I use it. I'd mention the battery manufacturer, but I'd hate to be accused of working for Duracell--OOPS!**2nd UPDATE** As of 8/7/2014 it still works great, and, no joke, STILL using the original battery.

It is an Accutire so I am worried about longevity ...
May 24, 2017
It is an Accutire so I am worried about longevity. I have had three other gauges of this brand and everyone has failed shortly after the warranty expired. They were a lot more expensive than this model so we will see. This will be the last chance for this brand if it does fail, I will go back to the mechanical dial gauge type.
But I liked the gauge
December 12, 2016
The battery in my old Accutire gauge died after more than 15 years of dependable and accurate service. Following the directions in the warranty (Yeah, I keep that stuff.), I packaged it up and mailed it to the manufacturer with a note asking for replacement of the battery. That's the last I have seen or heard of it. I can't find the manufacturer or a successor company with the responsibility for honoring the warranty. But I liked the gauge, so I ordered this replacement. Same model number, but it's not identical. It works as well as the old one and is easier to read, but the build quality seems a step backward. The material is lighter, and it seems a bit flimsy. I hope it will also last 15+ years, but I'm not confident. If it does, I'll revise my review and add a 5th star.
Everyday Pressure Gauge
December 1, 2015
Great pressure gauge but I would prefer a smaller change in increments of psi. I bought this to use on my daily vehicle and not any motor enthusiast activities.

The build was fine. The rubber bottom grip feels great but the plastic for colored area and tip leaves more to be desired. Very light weight for its size. Feels conforming to the hand and easy to handle when using.

For my intended uses, this fits it perfectly. I bought this knowing that it only changes in increments of 0.5 psi but after using it, I found that I kept on wanting to get it perfect but was unsure how this device rounds (up or down?).

Great Little Tire Gauge
December 12, 2014
This little tire gauge is much easier and more accurate than the old type with the slide stick. An added benefit is that you could use it in the dark. Arrived early, in perfect condition with easy to follow instructions. With 2 vehicles to check, if this gauge lasts a year or so, it's money well spent. If you are a professional, or own a tire shop, you'd probably want to upscale, but this one will do fine for weekly checks, and now I'll be certain to check more often, cause I like to use it. I'll even volunteer to check my neighbor's cars.
Great Dgital Tire Gauge
December 2, 2010
In an age with low tire pressure on dash warning lights. A good gauge is a glove box necessity. I have always taken care of my tires but at my convience. Both of our cars now have the low pressure warning systems. They have a nastey tendancy to go off at night, usually in bad weather. Most tire inflation stations in my area don't have an accurate pressure gauge on the inflator or the lighting is poor. All combined, glaring idiot light, bad weather and less than ideal inflating equipment conspire to the aggrivate me. The gauge works as advertised. It is dead on accurate, and easer to use. I have discovered that the low pressure warning limit on both cars are set not very far below the recomended tire pressure, so I now know when the idiot light comes on, chances are I am not in any real danger, allowing me to pick my spots when I will top off my tire pressure.

Great Gauge, good bang for the buck!

Easy and accurate, no air release tip
September 20, 2017
Great little gauge, I tested it against my mechanical gauges: one with a dial, and two with the stick that gets forced out the end. This Tekton digital was easily the most consistent and accurate. I even tried holding it at different angles and as long as you get some air out, the gauge was displaying the correct psi. It measures in 4 different units, but psi is all I'm interested in. I only gave it 4 stars because of the minor cons noted below. I would still highly recommend this gauge.pros:Very accurate and it reads to the 1/2 pound in psi modeEasy to use, can't screw it up by holding it wrongLight on display and light on the nozzle, can see it even in the dark corner of your garageshuts off on it's own, no need to worry about conserving battery powercon:No air release tip (one of the sellers said you could hold the gauge on at an angle as if you were taking a reading and this would allow air out. I could not get this to work very well except for tiny little blips of air. It shouldn't be an issue for them to just put a plastic tip on one end.) This is a must-have for a tire pressure gauge which is why I could only give it 4 stars.
Great gauge - Suggest reviewing closely if for a motorcycle.
December 24, 2016
I bought this for my motorcycle, FJR1300, with stock 3 spoke wheels. This gauge is too large for easy rear tire access and with additional restricted access of two rotors on the front wheel, just not something I'll use. It's a great gauge otherwise and I put it in my car.I noticed a few reviews noting it was great for motorcycles. Maybe some motorcycles, but if you already have a tight opening, I'd suggest a smaller and/or thinner gauge.
Love the Digital Readout and low pressure readings.
June 25, 2016
This works really well, I was sick of trying to read the small numbers on the traditional stick type pressure gauge, so it is nice to have a digital readout. I also like how I can use it for low pressure and higher pressure tires (ie, my quad tires have 3-5 lbs vs truck tires at 35lbs.) My only complaint is when I go from one tire to the next quickly, I'm not sure if I am looking at the old reading or the new reading. I wish there was a quick reset button but all the button does is switch between functions. So I usually switch to off between each tire read or have to wait for it to disappear. Maybe its operator error on my part.
100 psi works well and does light up nicely to see the reading
June 9, 2016
This TEKTON 5941 Digital Tire Gauge, 100 psi works well and does light up nicely to see the reading. The size of the display is small but readable. It appears to be slightly off in the accuracy of reading the psi; but not enough that would affect a normal passenger or truck tire pressure. For the price, it is a nice gauge to have stored in a car especially if you are attempting to check the pressure when it's dark. I would purchase the TEKTON 5941 Tire Gauge again, but I would still also have a larger dial gauge in my garage as my main tool of choice.
Works as advertised.
May 11, 2016
This tire gauge works, like many others. The gauge is mostly plastic with a matt feel. It doesn't feel like it's very high quality, but not like it's going to fall apart in my hand. The positioning of the activation button is okay, like a trigger, but can be slightly awkward if I'm twisting my hand to fit the gauge up against the air tube. The LCD is bright and has enough contrast to display during full sunlight.I would give it five stars if the material didn't feel so cheap. You get what you pay for, once in a while.
Year later and still didn't die...
February 21, 2015
Year ago I've purchased this, so I will have one nearby in my vehicle. Well, it didn't get to the vehicle right away, so it got stuck somewhere. Today I dug it, after my dealership decided to put 39psi into my tires and was telling me, that TPMS sensors lie. So I've checked this one. Well, first time I pushed the button it started blinking. Blinking and nothing else. Let it stand for awhile, and pressed button again. It started to work as expected. Reading of pressure was same as TPMS sensors. So either they both lie exactly same (hardly), or both of them show correct information. In any case, year later and I still can use it. Will give it four starts, because of unexplained blinking without any explanation on the box what that's mean.

Weird device. ..functional but not great
April 12, 2017
Does the job but wonky. It wants to grab onto my valve stem and fights to release it. The overall construction isn't on par with my previous gauges. This one is very flimsy. The handle will probably be the first thing to break.

The read out gauge is bright but the thing doesn't have an on off.

Weird device is functional but I doubt I'd buy it again.
Short Life-Span
March 11, 2017
Ive had this for 3-1/2 years. Was fine while it lasted but after batteries died it wouldn't work even with new batteries. Also (minor issue) handle gets sticky after a while - turns out that rubbing alcohol gets the degraded sticky surface layer of rubber off but it took a while to figure that out.
I love it! The face glows in the dark
September 15, 2016
I have owned 2 of these Accutire gauges. Both lasted about 2 years. Although the packaging says you can replace the batteries, the company does not tell you which way the polarity of the 3 batteries should face. So, when my second unit died, I tried replacing the batteries with no luck in getting it to work. I decide that i no longer wanted to deal with batteries in a tire gauge and invested $23 in a LongAcre Analog tire gauge. I bought the basic model 0-60 PSI by 1 pound. I love it! The face glows in the dark. It comes with an angled head that swivels. The gauge is 2 inches in diameter, so really easy to read. If you use a tire gauge all the time, this one works well, but eventually the batteries will run down and you will be throwing more money into a new one.
says its pretty good. don't like the fact when you remove ...
July 8, 2016
Bought this one for accuracy. says its pretty good. don't like the fact when you remove it from the nipple it goes back to 0 other than that it seems good
OK but wish I had seen it in person first.
February 5, 2015
It does what it is suppose to do and that is read tire pressure. There are some minor grips though. First it uses alkaline button cell batteries when just about everything is going lithium. My last digital gauge that is now 8 years old has a non replaceable lithium battery and it is still working but the readout is getting dim so I know its near dead, my digital calipers use the same alkaline button cells this uses and I have to replace them every 18 mos so figure $6 each time because it takes 3 of them. thats about $40 in 9 years. The second is that you dont turn it on, it goes on when it senses air pressure and shuts off 15 or 20 sec later so read fast and the only way to calibrate it is to let a little air out of the tire real fast and then pull the gauge away so it reads zero. You dont need to do this every time but every once in a while to make sure its calibrated. My old gauge had a cal button and an on/off button as well as a time out of 45 sec.
I would have bought the old one again but it is discontinued.

Great Features - Comes close to Accurate
June 25, 2017
I really like this digital tire gauge for its features especially the light. The reason for 3 stars is that the PSI is off 5-7 lbs. I checked it against 2 other devices: an older tire pressure device (not digital) I've had for years and at a tire shop (digital). For the price it's ok- useful just to check an estimate the PSI in your tires.
Could be better
May 3, 2017
OK, but could be much better. The good. Easy to read lighted guage. I tested it against my other gauges and all the readings were similar. The bad. NO bleed valve and not even a device on the unit to manually bleed the valve core stem. Put together with two screws that screw into plastic, not a brass bushing. Thus will not last a long time. Has four batteries, none of which most homeowners would have on hand and would likely cost more than the original tool.I would opt for a different gauge if I were to order a new one.
looks like it's used before and no instruction included
April 10, 2017
Received the product in a box, looks like it's used before and no instruction included. Checked online and it's all polyester packaging so don't know why mine is a box. Since I didn't get instruction, just didn't know if I used it correctly. The 4 settings seem to be very easy so it's still pretty user friendly and the number came out fast.
Beautiful tire gauge, minor issues.
October 4, 2016
I ordered this because i am a car geek and i really love tires, of course that involves having the right pressure on my cars. The product is fine, i use it in PSI but the issue i see in this is that PSI are measured in 0.5 ranges, i know that this should not be a dead o alive matter, but you should know it.The tip that goes into the valve is plastic, it really feels very cheap, so what i do is handle it with care to avoid possible damage, for the price is a nice gadget.
Solid performer, but some little tweaks are needed.
December 15, 2014
UPDATE: Well, Amazon says I bought this product a little over 3 years ago. Worked great all that time until recently when the display (and the lighted ring around the valve stem port) started a constant flashing when turned on. I turned it on and off only to have the flashing happen again. I left it for a little while and then saw that it reset itself and I could use it. However, a couple of days ago, it again went into flashing mode when turned on. This time, I couldn't turn it off. Would just come back flashing. I decided to leave it to see if it was going to reset. That was 2 days ago. Still flashing. I wondered if this meant the batteries are going out, but after two days, I thought it would die if that was the case. Opened her up and saw that it had one 2032 watch battery in there, and three LR44 "button" batteries. I didn't have any LR44's lying around, but I did have a 2032. Replaced it, and there was no difference. Still flashing. Took out an LR44 and put it back in. No fix. So now, it's either replace all the batteries to see if that would do it, or buy a new guage. I'm opting for the latter since a search of amazon shows I'll be paying about the same for new batteries as I will for a new guage. I think I'll go with the Accutire this time. I knocked down one star because of this, and because as stated in my original review, I think the reset time between pressure readings is too long.Original review as follows:-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Been using this for several months now and it's a good gauge. However a couple of improvements are needed:First, there's too long of a delay before the reading zeros out. I've counted 10 seconds. It should be reprogrammed to be only 5. By the time I take a reading, and let air out of the tire if need be, I'm still waiting several seconds for the screen to reset to take my next reading (I know some of you might think, "What? You can't wait a few extra seconds?" Well, when you're in the swing of things and want to get the job done, the reset delay does slow down your pace. You'll know what I mean when you actually try it.). I've discovered a manual way to reset by pushing the trigger down to turn the device off, and then push it again right away to turn it back on. That's quicker than waiting for it to reset on its own, but a little inconvenient. Don't want to prematurely wear out the trigger by doing so either.Secondly, Tekton needs to put a little nipple on the bottom of the handle so you can just flip the gauge around and use it to depress the valve to let air out. Can't understand that design oversight. These two improvements would make this a 5-star device.
Gets the job done.....
October 28, 2013
This tire gauge gets the job done and seems to be pretty accurate, but it has a few annoying quirks to it that make using it kind of frustrating. The first quirk is that to use it you have to hit the trigger button, but if you accidently hit it again then you have to keep scrolling through different measurement types just to get back to the PSI setting. I found myself hitting the button as a reflex every time I wanted to use it again so I was constantly scrolling through the other useless measurement types. The second annoying thing is that it takes like 15 seconds to zero out after using. Here was a typical scenario for me:Tire has to much are in it:Check air pressure, its high....Let some air out..... gauge still waiting to zero out...... still waiting.... zeroed. Check tire pressure, still high.... let some more air out, wait....... still waiting.... zeroed. Check pressure. Accidently hit trigger button....scroll through measurements to get back to PSI.....still waiting to zero.....Repeat this for 4 tires....Bottom line is it will get the job done, but it was pretty frustrating to use.

Short lifespan
September 7, 2017
Worked fine until its screen went back. I tried replacing the batteries, but no luck bringing it back to life. Bought this in December 2014, and it died in September 2017. I was hoping for a bit more longevity than 2.5 years. Given this experience, I think my next tire gauge will be an analog, mechanical model, so I can take the electronic factor out of the equation entirely and not have to replace batteries at all--even when doing so will make a better unit work.
Liked that it is light weight and easy to use
February 6, 2017
Bought gauge for one of my cars. Unfortunately it reads a full 1PSI higher than the rest of my gauges . Liked that it is light weight and easy to use, however the accuracy is lacking. Had to mark the gauge to remind users to subtract 1 PSI. I would not buy again. Ended up getting this one instead and it is spot on accurate with other gauges. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00ZUR5JEK/ref=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_34
This unit doesn't work.
May 5, 2014
Don't know what to make of this thing. On the first day we tried to use it the display wouldn't change to any proper tire pressure at all until it had been pressed again and again against the tire valve then it finally showed what I assumed was the correct pressure {my wife's bicycle}. Then I tried it a time or two more and it seemed to be alright, so I let it go as a peccadillo peculiar to this device. Today I tried to use it again. Same thing. Only 00.0 showed up on the dial every time. After five or six tries I abandoned the project. Obviously this is a defective unit or there wouldn't be so many FIVES from satisfied customers showing on the ratings. Have never had to replace anything from Amazon so I wouldn't know where to start. My guess is that there was probably something sent with the box that allows me to return this defective item. Since the box is gone the opportunity is also gone. I'll have to start looking more closely at Amazon products in the future without assuming everything will be in working order.
I don't know
January 11, 2014
I ordered a Accutire Digital Tire Pressure Gauge, and because I have Prime it was at my door FAST! Kudos to Amazon for the service....only problem was....it didn't work. Of course I figured I was doing something wrong, but I couldn't figure out what.I took the batteries out. I checked each battery, and everyone(there are four) was at least 1.5 volts. Thais good right? So what was wrong? I finally decided it was the gauge itself...DOA. I've never had to send a defective item back to Amazon, that I recall, so, I had to figure that out. It's not hard. Amazon even offered to have UPS pick it up from my house. Wow, how cool is that? The very next day UPS was at my door..'Sir do you have an item to return?' I sure do, says I, and off it went with a promise from Amazon of another gauge to take it's place. Sure enough bright and early the next day, there was another brand new Accutire Digital Tire Pressure Gauge, at my door. I immediately took the gauge out of the package and went to the shop to try it out, and,....NOT AGAIN!? DOA? dead as a door nail. One I can understand,...... but TWO?Well, by now I am pretty experienced with returns. I kept the package and everything. Within an hour of receiving the second gauge, it was packed and waiting on UPS. Once again EXCELLENT service from Amazon and UPS. The package was on it's way. This time however I decided on a refund. I am waiting on that and expect no problems getting it. Today I went to Auto Zone, found a Slime Digital tire gauge, and IT WORKS! I guess I should have ordered a Slim the first time.Anyways, I don't know how these gauge work, because....they didn't....but Amazon's returns worked GREAT!
Many major design issues
October 13, 2012
(1) There's no way to verify it is functioning in the basic level. No beep, LCD display on or any indication when I insert the batteries. There's no additional button or anything can verify its LCD can even be on (i.e. uC booted up OK internally). The only way to check if it's working is to use it to check a tire.(2) Getting a reading takes too long. You will not always see the reading screen during the tire pressure checking, because it depends on the Valve Stem location where the wheel happens to be at when car is parked. Due to problems described below (3) & (4), you cannot be certain if the reading is obtained, when you can't see the screen. Too soon to pull out the gauge, the LCD is in off state, and you don't know whether the reading is not stable enough to display or the device itself is broken. Waiting too long, you see the issue (4) below.(3) There is not beep or anything to indicate that the reading is generated/completed. You need it when you can't see the LCD screen.(4) Once reading is generated, the display time is too short before it is automatically shut down. It probably only lasts 2-3 seconds, to "save battery".

Not for me
December 2, 2016
Ehhh.. Display is real small and hard to see. I don't know if there is a way to change it but the default display is metric kilogram per something. Takes a couple button pushes to get it to PSI and the units area of the display is TINY. To much trouble for me. I'll never use it and I'm going back to the pop out stick gauge. There are better choices.
Not the best.....
November 19, 2016
I have this one and an Accutire, I feel the Accutire is superior, I always have problems getting this one "seated" on the valve perfectly and end up releasing a few pounds just to get a reading! Also, you have to turn it on first, the Accutire you just push it on the valve and it actuates automatically. The light is nice but not enough to make up for it's shortcomings......

Gauge came and appeared to work. Problem is that you can't trust the numbers that come up. I used it to check tires on my travel trailer. The trailer had not moved in days so the tires were cold. It was difficult to get a good connection between the gauge and the valve stem. When the gauge does not connect properly you end up loosing air which changes the reading. I compared it to a non-digital gauge and the Tekton was all over the place. I them compared the results with a compressor and again the Tekton was right 1 out of 10. The non-digital gauge was right every time. If I had nothing else to use I would make do, but I do not recommend this item. Not reliable.
Worked well until the screen died.

I bought two and gave one away as a gift. Both of us love this little tool and it has been incredibly useful many times to us. If you buy, remember to just squeeze the trigger once. This turns it on and lights everything up. Any more then one squeeze will cycle through the different pressure units. I personally have no trouble with that but other reviewers have. Come christmas I am buying more for the whole family.Update: As of 8/31/15 the digital screen has started to flicker/doesnt work at all which makes it almost useless. I can't not read the screen as it is now. Gauge worked very well until this started. 4 months of once a week use should have made this last much longer then it has. Won't be buying more.
Very unaccurate-cannot recommend.

I bought this tire gauge with the hopes of being able to place it in my wife's auto and have her use it. However, the accuracy is so poor I wouldn't recommend it. I understand there's going to be differences between gauges of different types, brands, cost, etc., but in a comparison of six different gauges (some mine, others belonging to family and friends), this gauges repeatedly was the "flyer" in terms of accuracy. Example: on one tire measured at the same time, the other gauges offered values of 32, 34, 31, 32, and 35 psi. This gauge indicated the tire had 49 psi. Imagine what I would be doing to the tire if I lowered the pressure so that I obtained the recommended range of 30-35 psi; what would the actual air pressure be? My rating is not offered from one or two comparisons. I've made honest comparisons on different vehicles, different temperatures, etc. in the effort to find some measure of accuracy. I could not. On the positive side, I like the design, illumination, and feel of the gauge. I just wish it was accurate!
Worked for about 8 months
October 23, 2014
Bought it in January '14 because of all the good reviews (and the price was certainly right). Seemed to work perfectly for the first several months, but then I wasn't exactly using it daily or anything. Then in late August when I went to use it, I opened my drawer and saw the blue light was already on (half normal "on" brightness, though), and it wouldn't shut off (it's ordinarily turned off by auto-shutoff not by an "off" switch). Just tapping the red casing with my fingertip lightly made it reset (every black LCD piece fills in, like seeing all 8's on a calculator) & it would then kind of work, then tapping it again put it into (what appears to be) a sort of "loose wire" mode where you see no LCD characters on the screen.Replaced the battery and still no change in function. It'll work, kind of, but tapping it sideways (on the red part, not on the button) makes it not work (and the light never goes off). So using it now is a series of tapping it, then when done, tapping it again so it "works" and then GENTLY placing it on a shelf so nothing "taps" it again to send it into broken-mode again where the light never goes off.I wasn't rough with it or anything; it's a tire gauge so it (naturally) gets handled but not tossed around. Maybe if one was SUPER gentle with it, like it was a piece of crystal, then it would work indefinitely. Disappointing, since I liked it while it worked for about 6 months.

First reading LL, so I thought batteries weak or dead. Ordered replacement batteries and again same reading LL. Anyone else experience this?

Purchased on 5/30/16. Placed in my Jeep. Used once last week and worked fine. Tried to use today and it didn't work. Attempted to return for replacement and told it is too late by 1 day.
DO NOT BUY
May 14, 2016
DO NOT BUY! This is absolute garbage. My daughter dropped it while measuring the rear tire on her 4-wheeler. Dropped from about a foot high. That was it - it no longer worked. I was there - it was about a foot. And it was the second tire measured since opening the package. DO NOT BUY this flimsy junk.
DOA product.

The display died after first use. Might be very old stock, the batteries came dead. Will see if it comes back after I have replaced the batteries. If it does, can I charge Amazon the cost to replace the batteries. Returning if battery swap does not bring it back to life.
I own TWO... both are DEAD

Unfortunately, I've bought two of these over the past few years. Both are sitting in the garage, dead. Maybe the batteries are depleted? Nope. More money wasted checking that.

NEVER WORKED
August 20, 2017
Opened the box and it did not work. No pamphlet or anything in the box to offer solutions. Looks nice but don't waste your money. Very frustrating, would give zero stars if possible.

comes with batteries but once they die, you'll spend half the cost of the gauge to replace, not worth it. get one without batteries or one that takes AA or AAA

Does not operate as advertised. I need a gouge that reads low pressures and this does not. It is supposed to read from 0 to 100, I need a gauge that will read in the teens and this one does not. Sorry I bought it and now and I'm told I can't return it.
Do NOT Buy this
July 9, 2017
This item worked fine the day it arrived... I kept it in the glove box in my car for a few months and when I tried to use it, it wouldn't even turn on. What a piece of garbage. I literally used it once and then nothing. Do not buy this - it is akin to throwing your money away.

I didn't even get a chance to use this. It was D.O.A and all it does it flash blue and doesn't record psi at all for my tires -_-
No Reset Button Makes This a Loser
April 6, 2015
Unit will give a false reading unless fully pressed straight into valve. There is no button to reset gauge to zero. You must wait at least 10 seconds. There is only one button. Pressing it turns on unit. Pressing again changes units.
