Great for the price
April 2, 2016
This jack worked great for me replacing my front fork seals. It is light weight and easy to use. My bike weighs 850lbs (Harley-Davidson Dyna Fat Bob) so a little tough raising with the tool provided, but I didn't want to use an impact and raise the bike too quickly. The saddles were too tall to get under my frame so I had to just raise without...I do wish there was a non-skid surface as my bike slipped a little. I only raised high enough to get my front tire of the ground and felt the bike was stable enough. I did use caution when using force. Overall the best lift I saw for the price. I'm happy with my purchase.
Works great!

This is turning out to be one of the most used items in the garage. I have several bikes, and none with a center stand. Yet many procedure (checking coolant, oil, etc) require the bike to stand upright - how the heck do you do that by yourself? Witht this jack, that's how. Works like a champ and does exactly what I wanted.
Exactly what I needed at a very good price.
February 22, 2016
This thing is heavy duty and mine came with a wrench. Yes it is slick but I just glued some rubber pad to the top. I use it for my Dyna Fat Bob so I can,t use the saddles, but it is what I need and at half the price of the other ones. I would highly recommend it.
Nice jack, especially for use with a lift table.
September 21, 2015
Much sturdier than the cheap scissor jack I was using under my bikes.

I have one of the Harbor Freight lift tables, and having a bike up on it with just a scissor jack could be a bit spooky, even with it strapped down. With this jack, the bike will actually stay upright on it's own. (though I wouldn't want to raise it up without strapping it as well) It also gives better/safer ways to lift because of the adjustable pads. I can get on the frame rails instead of under the engine. I was always nervous about lifting by the engine cases fearing it might cave in some day.

I also like the wings on the sides. They offer even more stability, and would allow me to bolt it to the table should I be so inclined.

The build seems sturdy. The crank might be a bit short for good leverage on a really heavy bike, but it worked ok for my KLR650. I'm pretty happy overall.

So far so good!
March 26, 2015
I have used this only two times now. So far it works good....fingers crossed for good luck! I purchased this for my 2012 Harley Heritage classic Softail. I wanted to lift it in order to clean the rear wheel easier. After bike is lifted, I engage the parking brake bar and take the pressure off of the jacks ram. Am hoping this will keep the seals from having constant pressure while the bike is lifted for many days at a time. Will post more after a reasonable time has passed. I have found that it is easier to polish and clean all of the chrome with the bike standing more straight up as compared to leaning on the kick-stand.
Bike Jack
February 5, 2015
This thing is a monster--both in build and weight. The included handle makes it easy to roll around. I have a 650 vstar that this jack will go under, but the arms are not long enough to completely cover the frame area underneath, so the bike "rocks" some on the way up---have someone help you hold it and you should be good to go. (Watch out for that pesky kickstand!) Of course, after it is up it will need to be secured better to work on and not fall over. I'm going to have to modify the outfit a little---absolutely no problem here---I'll just lay a longer oak board on top of the arms--works like a charm! This is a heavy duty outfit and I'm satisfied with it except for the shortness of the arms, but it's in my garage to stay---it's found a home!!
Better than expected
December 20, 2014
Two day delivery with Prime, don't know how they did it for out here in the sticks, but they did. Easy to put together, those that left feedback about having trouble with the assembly instructions shouldn't own one, had it together in about ten minutes without reading anything. Wasn't expecting it to work as well as the five stars mentioned, but it was better, works great with a '78 FXS, rolls easy and swivels work fine. For once I bought something that was way more than expected.
Perfect for my ATV!
June 24, 2014
Jacking up and propping up my Honda Foreman ATV with jacks, stands, blocks, etc. was getting old fast. I needed something to do the job right! The PZ 380047 suits the job perfectly! The price seemed right, it came well packed, everything fit well, and it was easy to assemble. And best of all, it jacked up my ATV slick as can be! Easy-peasy! Just pump it up with the foot pedal, lock it in place, get the job done, then drop 'er down with the other pedal. I love things that make my life easier. This little lift does just that! Recommended!
PowerZone 380047 Motorcycle Lift
February 5, 2014
I received my PowerZone lift this afternoon (5 Feb 2014). It is a superb product! As in other reviews, the directions are not that great but you do not need them as there are only three items to assemble; the bottle jack, the bottle jack connection to the main beam, and the stop bar. All you need is a small adjustable (crescent) wrench and a pair of pliers/needle nose pliers for the cotter pins (or, as the directions say, "cotton" pin. LOL!).The lift pads are right at 4-1/4" in height from the floor, which is great as my '07 Sportster Custom's frame sits at 5". The site description states 4-1/2" as it probably adds in the steel knobs that are at the ends of the lift arms. Compared to many other jacks (including Black Widow, OTC, etc.), it gets down to a great level that makes it easy to fit under your bike or ATV.I am very happy with the product and have nothing negative to say about it (unless you want to consider that it is made in China). Nonetheless, it is well-constructed. It is distributed in the USA from a company in Chino, CA.If you have any other questions about this product, please use Amazon's "Ask a Question" on the product page and I will reply as soon as possible. Enjoy, and be safe! Straussjoe
This is a good one...

This is an extremely nice product. Goes together fast, rolls on the garage floor easily and raises and lowers very well and predictably. Hard to believe the quality you get for the price you pay, particularly if you have Amazon Prime free shipping. I use this for an ATV. Added a couple of 2x4's to raise the working height a bit (depending on your bike, it may only raise the vehicle a couple of inches, but try to find one that goes much higher than this for less than 3 times the price). Once raised the vehicle seemed very stable, but I felt better strapping it down anyway (doesn't come with its own straps - didn't bother me because I have a bunch of them). The foot pedals are easy to reach and use and the lift lock looks like a sturdy and well designed mechanism. All in all, this was a great purchase. Highly recommend to friends and family.

June 4, 2016
I gave the this scissor lift 4 stars instead of 5 because the socket tool provided for running the drive system was damaged in manufacturing and was a throw away. Not a problem though because it was much to short to be of any use and buyers will be better off setting up their own 1/2" ratchet and socket for ease of use and good control both up and down.
Some thin rubber or grip tape may be useful to inhibit the lift from sliding around both on the bottom and the top.
For the money this is a good little lift.

Works well mounted on my lift. I notice there is some lateral movement perpendicular to the scissors arms but nothing that would make me worried about buckling especially as I also use ratchet straps for safety to secure the bike while I'm working on it.
Worth the price
January 29, 2016
Decent product for the price, works well, only think is I had to remove those stands to fit it under my 99 Softail Custom so I I use the flat part which obviously is not as stable
Great for motorcycle!
January 7, 2016
A very good jack for my Honda Rebel.
One star off because:
1- doesn't have any feet. The blue painted bottom wears off paint as its been used.
2- The Honda Rebel has a too low clearance to use the 2 arms. I have to rest the bike on the blue top plate and not use the 2 black arms on top, shown in the photo.
3- For a Honda Rebel weighing only 350lbs tops, this jack is a bit too heavy.

On the pro-side:
1- it's currently the cheapest jack/lift available
2- it's well made to handle most bikes upto 1200cc, or heavier when only lifting partially.

saves the hassle of propping the bike up and or using bricks... I certainly can't lift my ride. ;)So far, so good.Comes 80% assembled. The remainder of the assembly instructions were "ok"... but just looking at the photo seemed easier.
Works great, but bike comes down fast when trying to lower it.
April 1, 2017
Went together easy, didn't have all the issues other people mentioned. The only issue I'm having is the piston drops really fast when lowering the bike. I might need to make an adjustment but I'm not sure what or how yet. That's why I'm giving it 4 stars.

it came with the paint scuffed up a little bit, but i didn't buy it for it's looks. Went together well with minor difficulty. I thought it might take two people to get it jacked up safely, but it was easier than i thought on my own. It holds my 2011 Harley Heritage Classic just fine. The pictures i included show it on the second setting as far as the safety locking bar is concerned. The frame is about 12" off the ground. Great jack for a great price.
Telling it like it is...!
March 21, 2014
Bought this as a birthday gift for my husband. We own a 98 Harley Dyna Wide and have a trike package on the rear. Once he figured out the assembly and where to position the lift under the bike, he was very happy. The jack will lift everything off the ground sufficiently to get under the bike for an oil change. So far he hasn't tried any other service requiring the lift. Assembly is probably simple if you're good with following directions and mechanically inclined. Common sense is required. I would have been willing to pay a little more for a better hydraulic system as it is slow. It does serve the purpose and I'll remain happy so long as it doesn't fall apart while someone is lying under neat it.
works for some not for others
January 29, 2014
I need to make a jig for my wife's 250 Rebel. This one won't work unless you're ok lifting this from the exhaust pipes. Don't do that, btw. It works fine for my 750 ACE, and frankly, I don't know how to do maintenance on a bike without a lift when doing sprockets or even oil. This is great for the job and was really cheap. The control on ascent and descent are good. It helps to have a second person, though. Also, and for anyone using any lift, this is the most important thing to know: USE TIE DOWNS! this is a great lift, but if you try to lift your bike without securing your bike to the lift, you will almost certainly drop it, may hurt yourself, and more importantly, you could dent/damage your bike! The -1 Star is because it won't work with a very common 250 Rebel frame.
HARLEY SPORTSTER
July 31, 2013
Good sturdy jack that does the job. It did not fit under my 2012 Harley Sportster Custom. Had to get my buddy to help me rock the bike onto the jack and then rock it back and forth until it was fully on the jack. Once it was up there the jack and bike were steady and made the job go much quicker but if you have a sportster you might want to consider a jack that's a little lower. Worked great to drop the gas tank on my mustang though (but that's not actually what I originally bought it for).

Looks too be good quality, haven't had a chance to use it yet. Came missing a bolt for one of of the adjustable risers. No way to tighten it down to keep it from sliding.
Fine for lifting one wheel at a time.
March 27, 2016
Used to light maintenance on my 883 Iron. Not too secure/wobbly and kinda lines up awkward with the kickstand but it works to elevate one wheel at a time.
It works but could be better
December 9, 2015
I bought this to lift my dual sport motorcycles when they are up on my lift. For my purpose it will do the job just fine but i have a few observations that lead to a 3 star rating.

1) Every bolt on this unit was loose from the factory and some almost falling out. I tightened them all before putting it into service but they all loosened again. I have since used loc-tite on all the bolts.

2) The bottom and top surfaces are very slippery, as in raw paint. It slides around on my lift easily. I ended up going to harbor Freight and getting some stick on non skid rubber to cure this.

3) There was almost no lubricant on any of the moving parts straight out of the box.

4) When i'm lifting my bikes it really takes a lot of effort to lift them. My bikes weigh sub 300# and it really takes a lot of effort to get them off the ground. The wrench it came with i can barely turn once the weight of the bike is on the jack, i had to get a 22mm socket and a long 1/2" ratchet to move it effectively. I don't trust it will stay together if i used my impact gun on it. I cant imagine lifting a 700# plus Harley with this lift given the effort it takes to get my little TW 200's off the ground with it.

May 3, 2016
Was missing all the hardware (bolts, washers, pins, etc) except one bolt which was bent and therefore useless. Contacted Amazon and they agreed to issues a small credit if I bought the missing hardware local. After install, seems to work OK but seems excessively wobbly in areas that do not require bolting down. A lot of the paint was chipped which is minor but still. The stops that have three stop locations of bracing the lift are not even on the left side compared to the right side. This makes for awkward lifting and release. Overall, this lift will work but there are better choices out there for a higher cost. You get what you pay for.
some modification required
February 14, 2015
overall it's ok. no assembly instructions, which its not too bad to assemble anyway. what I don't like is the fact it doesn't sit on all four wheels. it rocks back and forth on diagonal wheels. nothing a hammer won't fix but it should be straight out of the box. another thing I didn't like was the fact that one of the front wheels doesn't turn. had to remove the wheel, pound the metal out and re-attach the wheel. jack works good after all the tweaking though, just poorly put together initially.
Solid, but useless.
February 12, 2015
Poor manufacturing: the safety bar on the right hand side fits into the safety notch, but on the left side due to it being welded wrong, I have to force the safety bar into the notch. In addition, the distance between the two support arms is so narrow, that you have to have the jack right in the middle of the bike, otherwise the bike will tip forward or backward. Or, if you lift your bike and take off the front tire, it will rock back, same thing if you take off the back tire.
WARNING Inspect your's carefully before using.
January 22, 2015
WARNING Look over your lift carefully. I spent the morning inspecting, tightening, and greasing it.This is my first ever negative review. I am not sure more money would get you a better lift. Two of the 4 wheel bolts nuts were very loose. The two wheel casters that swivel are terrible – if you use it much expect to replace them. I saw better ones at Ace Hardware for $6 each. Race for bearings in the casters are pressed. Surface is rough and pitted. 6 mm bearing are in plastic holder, one dab of grease in one spot is supposed to lube all ball bearings – it won’t. The 2 plates holding ball bearings were loose, expect balls to fall out with any rough use. (You can buy more ball bearing cheap. They are same as used in bicycle wheels.)Would I buy it again? YES. I don’t expect quality to be better for other brands. I doubt paying double would get one of good quality. It is cheaper to fix this one up. For $15 I can replace casters. I caught loose bolts before putting it in use.
Tiny
February 18, 2014
It can hold your motorcycle upright while you do all the work that needs the motorcycle to be level. As for actually lifting it, you're probably going to need some boards to put on it because the distance across the lift surface is *tiny*. It can't even make it frame to frame on my 650, it's surely not going to make it on anything bigger.Assembly wasn't very difficult. Looks like it's made well enough, though you can tell it's one of the cheaper options out there. Both of the stops on the sides don't engage at the same time unless you make them, that sort of little annoyance that I'm sure the more expensive options don't have.
It's great except...
January 26, 2013
lowering it is problematic with only 600lbs on it. You have to be REALLY careful as it lowers too quickly as in SLAM BANG!!! The foot piece you press on to release the jack is so touchy it's got to be a manufacturing flaw. BE CAREFUL. Other than that it's fine. It goes up and it comes down, down REALLY hard if you're not REALLY careful.

Purchased on March 8, 2016. The lift is picks up an Ultra classic good, although once you get it lifted you can't hardly get the wheels to roll. As of Dec 3, 2016 the jack has stopped working completely. Worked great for 9 months
Too tall!
December 9, 2015
Be carful! I have a heritage softail on stock wheels with a stock suspension and this jack will not fit under my bike. It was easy to put together and once I pulled my bike up on a block I could get it under there. It is easy to move around and easy to hack up with the foot peddle. The release goes down pretty quick though. Over all not really impressed.
Does NOT work like it says it will
August 22, 2015
I have a 2015 Kawasaki Vulcan Voyager 1700 ABS and this jack is a little short as far as the base of it. The 2 arms that lift the bike are not long enough to reach all the way across from left to right. It picks it up fine, but not as stable as I would like it to be. The 2 swivel wheels do NOT swivel when the bike is up on the jack. The 2 reasons I got this jack was because it said it was for a bike like mine and the swivel wheels would make it much easier to turn the bike around in my garage, and either 1 of the 2 reasons I got it works.

Just went to use it again and it no longer stays raised up it is a worthless piece of junk now and for the price it's not worth the money for a one time use thing now I know why I had to keep raising my bike up as I worked on it my bike only weighs 500lbs. Buy cheep you get crap
Need Full Dimensions
July 9, 2016
The reason for the one star is the fact that they do not put the dimensions of the saddles that lift the motorcycle which are 11" and the frame of my 2012 Nomad 1700 motorcycle is 13". They give some dimensions of the product but not the most important in my opinion. I do like the way it is built and easy assembly just wish they would do better on full product dimensions.Ends up I had to pay a restocking fee AND return shipping so I lost out a total of $48.20
At first excited, but then dissapointed
November 9, 2015
I purchased this item and was excited to start using it. However, I assembled the lift and noticed it had leaked hydrolic fluid overnight even though I did not lift anything. I am worried about lifting my motorcycle with it because if it leaks all the oil then I won't be able to set it back down and override the manual lock. I am also worried that it would be unstable which could damage the bike or myself. I am open to amending this review if the seller is willing to work with me.Update 3/8/16All of the oil has completely leaked out and it no longer functions. I have received no help or concern from the seller. Do not buy!Update 7/24/16Still no help from amazon or the manufactuerer
